Every unneeded coincidence, unlikely character trait or other gratuitous case of special snowflake syndrome on a character makes them less interesting, cohesive and identifiable as characters, yes. You can tie a lot of things into a proper character, but making a dickgirl character just because it gets you off is of the same narrative and dramatic value as one of those OCs people make on Gaia having rainbow-colored eyes despite existing in the Harry Potter setting.
Every unneeded element introduces one more thing that needs to be addressed without actually adding anything to the game, meaning that you knock disruptive holes in roleplaying time just for the sake of saying or implying your character has a dick.
The further a character is from a completely and utterly normal baseline human, the more effort you have to put into ensuring that those traits that distance them from humans (i.e. players) have some form of purpose in characterization or roleplaying. This is why Mary Sues are annoying and boring even when characters with higher power levels can be perfectly fun - because their specialness is pointless clutter that deprives them of hooks or takes up empty space, instead of having a plot hook or a characterization element tied to them.
And yes, the more normal characters are, the more interesting they become. They can play off each other, their emotions and lives are easier for players to understand and portray, they help deepen the setting instead of being defined by not fitting in it, they restrict the scope of the game and with that the amount of potential plot holes or imbalances, and on top of all that they make the occasional rare character archetype tens of times more rewarding to play, because that rarity and specialness now has a backdrop and precedents to play out against.
A good roleplayer can get characters for a whole roleplaying career out of "middle-class human twentysomething without magical abilities".
>>
>>51225226
I'm sure the noises she'd be making as I played with her tats every which way would be close enough to mooing. Of course, additional ropes could always be added...

I wouldn't use hemp, that would chafe horribly. The finloop would be silk, with the rest of the riggings being chains. It would be interesting to see if a leather strap could be enchanted with charm person, so she's always chewing down on some nice mind altering magic.
Of course, once setup is done, I'd have to stick a toy in her to keep her occupied while I go to find some of the best grapplers around at a local tavern. I'm sure she'll have a blast seeing just how it feels to be helpless and have hands feeling up and groping all across her tight, sweaty body.

For kineticist damage question anon earlier.
Here are two number sets for an onslaught kineticist fully optimized (right down to 'augmented elements' to get esoteric earlier) at levels 11 and 13: because 12 while often used does basically nothing since it's in between all the upgrade levels for even # of dice, and because 13 not only swaps out excessive-blaster for Extreme, but doing so also grants an additional +1/die.

12xd3 Composite. Esoteric >>12x(d6+2) +1 Ring +1 Targeted
Shots: 12+2(Burned)+3(Excessive) =x15
Energy Aim +6, 24CON=+3, Onslaught:15 hits=+7
Max Single Target output 15d6+76

Level 13: Shots 14+2(Burned)+7(Extreme) =x23 Damage +1/die
Energy Aim +6, 26CON=+4, Onslaught 23 hits =+11
Max Single Target output 23d6+136 = 216.5

As Extreme Blaster is literally the Quicken replacement - you can understand the fairly high damage boost found here.
>>
>>51225362
Alright, alright, it's on.
What exactly could you bring to the roleplaying or plot with a dickgirl character that you couldn't just do with a tiefling, a half-orc or (even better) just someone from a maligned family such as the knacker's family?
How, exactly, would it be better to tack a dick on a character for the cheap, omnipresent "not like all the other ducklings" victimization fantasy or pity points? On top of being an unlikely, reality-stretching element that could be handled in a completely mundane way, it's also going to get people's emotions and opinions on sex involved, making it awkward at best and group-destroying at worst.
And Jesus Christ, I've played with a lot of retards like you who spout shit like "it's a roleplaying game, why does reality have to matter", "why can't I just kill and fuck that NPC before talking to him", "why can't I call my character Lord Dickface, I think it's funny", "why can't I play Wolverine" and "why can't my character just bang everyone".
All those games have been dreadful, because there was never such a thing as roleplaying. Roleplaying games are half game and half acting, which means that like actual acting, there are still rules even though they're not mechanical. Just because you can't write down the one single way to play a roleplaying game doesn't mean that there aren't right and wrong ways - try entering an acting troupe with that mindset and see what happens.
I know by now what kind of roleplayer you are. You're the kind who says they just want to have fun, but for some reason never have it and never let their groups have it either. You're the kind of person who's been told off about the same thing by dozens of unrelated people, but still doesn't get that the one common problem is you.
It's also amazingly archetypal just how you interpret someone giving a piece of simple literary theory as "thinking only their own opinions matter".

So you're saying a dickgirl is compelling because you could force a girl down and breed her?

Hate to rain on your parade, but a girl will probably feel like a freak if she has a dick when she shouldn't. The only purpose that cock will serve is either finding a way to remove it, or find a way to come to terms with having it.
>>
>>51225635
And by then you've escaped so far from your own realm of experience that you have nothing to bring to the "roleplaying" besides your own sex drive.
If your idea of plot consists of having sex and your idea of roleplaying consists of seduction checks, you really need to look into this thing called "sex".
Or "porn", because there must be a reason you're buying corebooks to masturbate over.

The feelings of isolation because the character is abnormal. They lack confidence in themselves because they know they're so different and during the course of play might come to terms with it and start feeling more comfortable as what they are. Yes, it's similar to what can be done with tiefling and half-orc or whatever, but why should it be excluded as a possibility just because you don't like it? Sure, I was being a faggot shitposter but that's because you're also being a faggot who can't see beyond the fact that..yes, some people want to use them exclusively for lewd. That doesn't, however, prevent them from being used in other scenarios. Like I said earlier, it doesn't particularly matter what sex they are in games that aren't lewd. Anyone who tries to shoehorn it into a non-lewd game should be excluded, but you're attacking the idea itself rather than the people that misuse it.

>>
>>51225722
Adventuring and fighting monsters make them not normal. Normal people are living their lives trying to make ends meat and raise their families and are powerless to change anything about their fates. Adventurers and PCs are risking their lives with every encounter, throwing their fates to the wind as they try to fight their normality.

Cock-hungry breeders only work in smutty "lewd" games too, and I've seen this thread explode when someone tried to insist it's a compelling character concept.

People lead complicated lives, everyone alive will be "normal, but X" which can range from "normal, but a huge faggot" or "normal, but is seven feet tall and has issues with his brother."
>>
>>51225667
Except the most interesting characters I've ever played or seen played, in my entire fucking roleplaying career, have been normal human beings at the core of it.
Most of them had some kind of supernatural powers, but in literally all of those cases, they had some kind of character conflict stemming from that they were fundamentally just human, with human flaws, human foibles and human strong points.
I've played uncountable fucking characters and NPCs, and the one that was the most fun for me was an emotionally immature perma-teenage Tumblrina with a depressingly pedestrian life who'd ended up becoming a special White Wolf Asian vampire by being a barely redeemable, petty asshole in life.
When you start playing those characters, you'll see what I mean. Their motivations come realistically, don't feel forced and always have an easy in-universe response. They fit within the setting and don't clash with it, and they're defined by their characters at the core of it instead of the powers and special features they have.
But you'll never play a character like that, because you're too caught up on the idea that roleplaying should be free fun for you with no strings attached instead of requiring some work to be fun just like every other hobby on the fucking planet.

>>51225784
What are you trying to say exactly, that you can't play interesting futa characters in non lewd games?
>>
>>51225830
If you want verisimilitude while still playing a chick with a dick, it means you have to orient most of her struggles around having a dick, which is going to get a lot of people to think that you're getting off on it.
The thing about it is that it is nothing at all but a sexual organ that you had to go to the trouble of explaining, and there's no purpose for it that is not in some way sexual.
Having something sexual in a game is fine, but it needs to serve another purpose than imagining, facilitating or spicing up sexual situations. Pure sexual content, especially if niche or deeply analyzed, makes a lot of people instinctually cringe, and think what you want of that, that's the fact of it.
If you don't focus on the dick, you're left with a sexual element attached without anything to ground or excuse it, and that's even worse.
We're talking the exact same thing as having a female character have S-cup tits for the hey of it, claiming that "the cow tits add character". If you want to get off, do that all you want, but at the very fucking least don't pretend you're doing something else.
>>
>>51225889
>Normal people have problems. Imagine yourself in a universe where magic exists.

And therein lies the best sorts of characters.

Normal people faced with abnormal problems. How a normal-ass guy with a couple talents overcomes the Lich King will, assuming the writing quality is the same, always be more compelling to read than the "Magical Celestial Fox" doing the same thing.

>By forcing your will upon the quintessence of the universe and acting within pockets of time so small that blink past within the gap between seconds, you turn time on its end and react to an opponent’s actions before they have even been made.

>You can initiate this counter in response to being targeted or caught within the area of an attack or effect. You can immediately take a standard action and a move action (or a single full-round action by combining them) before that effect resolves.

>While taking these actions, you can only attack or otherwise affect the originator of the attack or effect. If you reduce the originator of the attack or effect to 0 or fewer hit points with these actions, then the attack or effect (including parts of the effect that affect other creatures) is completely negated, having been prevented from happening at all. You cannot gain more than one standard action and move action per round this way.

It sounds like you're using the counter to create an attack of opportunity that lets you take a standard, move, or full round action, so yes.

>making "has a dick" be the ONLY fucked up thing about the character
>when tieflings are typically the ones with this problem
>when that same tiefling is also likely walking around with gross vestigial wings, a freakish prehensile tail, horns, scale-covered skin, goat legs, or any number of things

You can leave "has a dick" off for most groups, because it's not that big an element. But if you're seriously saying "no group can handle 'has a dick' as a concept and make an enjoyable, well rounded character without sperging out", you're overreacting massively. Just make it "one of the things the character has to come to terms with", don't put it in the spotlight, and boom. Done.

Nobody's objecting that it doesn't fit everywhere, with every group. They're objecting your insistence that it's TOTALLY ONE HUNDRED PERCENT IMPOSSIBLE for it to be handled well without devolving into ERP.
>>
>>51225937
No I don't. Hermaphroditic people actually exist, in real life, and their existence does not center around their genitalia. The only differences between choosing to play a hermaphroditic character and choosing to play, say, a left handed character, is the rarity, and the sexual nature. The rarity is not an inherent problem, and the sexual nature need not be a focus, despite your claims to the contrary.

My argument is that you are claiming that the situation is black and white, and that your view, that a hermaphroditic character cannot be verisimilar in a non-sexual context, is the only correct view. It is not. Your experience is not monolithic, your perspective is not inherently valid, and your imagination is not all encompassing.

I should have said like an AoO. It's interrupting the normal flow of actions in the round, and the counter is initiated before the spell goes off.

Just tell yourself that your character is a herm or a futa or whatever. If, for some reason, clothes come off (i.e you're being ripped to shreds), mention it! But also mention how you're being ripped apart and so you need health.

Also, general question, is 15 HP decent for a starting-out Barbarian? Will they die on a lucky crit?

B-But I love going for the hooks, even if they're going to get stuck in my lip and cause nothing but pain until I tear it out.
>>
>>51226114
Yes, because you're level 1 and everything will die on a lucky crit.
>>
>>51226114
That's basically it. It's something that, for most games, won't even come up outside of maybe PMs between players.

On the barb thing, that looks about average for level 1, but you'll still die to a lucky hit from certain things. Because level 1 is a terrible place to be.
>>
>>51226128

It's easiest to look at that one in videogame turns.

You get a lock-on warning OR the big "this area will be affected" reticle appears on the ground where you are. This counter tells you this shit's about to go on, or rather, rolls back time a split second and freezes it for you to react.

You take your actions before anything else happens, and if you take down the one that triggered your counter, his meteor swarm never finished casting.

Commoners can kill PCs if they're equipped with a dagger and crit. A wizard has d6+con, so if they had 7 HP a single hit can bring them to negatives.

If they were caught unawares, it's well within possibilities to roll 19 or 20, confirm and roll a 4 for damage.

Can you combine Excessive and Extreme?

Damage falloff seems to be significant before 13:
At level 7 your time would become epoch blast for 8d3. However, you can't handle going esoteric yet; you can reduce costs by at most 3 (Infusion Spec 1, focused mode 1, Buffer 1/day).

Your no-burn options are as such:
0-cost infusion with focused composite onslaught: 1d3 x (8+1)
simple focused onslaught with excessive: 1d4 x (4+1+2)

9d3 can get +9 if you've got that greater ring, 7d4 does it with the cheaper version too but gets just +7. Add in onslaught (4 and 3 respectively on single targets), +2 CON, and +4 deadly aim and we have these two choices:
9d3+19 (37) Burn 2(0) vs 7d4+16(33) Burn 1(-1). This is *dangerously* low, but you ARE using the untyped energy blast with the lowest damage base. A regular d6 blast instead would be looking at 50 damage or 40 for the simple.

At level 9 you get a bit of a break, but you were heavily behind. Your dice go up by 1s/2c, everything gets +1/die, and +1 blast from burned. free-burn capacity goes up by 1. CON can probably safely be said to be at +3 for energy by now.

Your numbers become:
Amplified Simple Excessive Onslaught: 9(1d6+9(targeting)+9(ring))+3(CON)+4(DA)+4(onslaught) = 60.5
Excessive Epoch Onslaught: 14(1d3+14+14+3+4+6) = 69
Esoteric Onslaught (4-3 burn): 7(1d8+14+7+7+3+4+3) = 69.5
Still very, very low.

This is where the loss of haste and rapid-shot hit the archetype the hardest; those are what the enemy HP growth banks-on/assumes.

At 13th you get to catch up but the most common mid-high levels of campaign ending are in a bad bad spot.

I forgot to mention also there's a knight chick you rescue from orcs in a tower. As well as a dwarf girl afflicted with a Curse of Insanity, whom you could potentially save and have follow and escort your party, though she's generally obsessed with rescuing her brother.

>>51227213
From what I've experienced as a player, not many. You spend most of the AP on the move, torching and wrecking soldier and training camps. The first book you spend almost exclusively in Trunau, but after that you are moving across long distances on boats and cairrages.
You could potentially add more female assistants to the one Orc Oracle chick in book two, but that would be a stretch. Further you can possibly include more female acolytes at the Cathedral aside from the one, but that wouldn't work too well either.

There are a few prison and slave arena in the different camps that the Orcs and later Giants have, so you could potentially have a battle-waifu/punch-girl there

Or perhaps you can have a witch as a slave to the Hags dwelling in the Druidic Sanctuary.

Realy, if you want a waifu you either have to work extra hard to salvage one, or beg your DM to make one.

Ok, so I'm an anon that posted the the idea for a Naruto shinobi class for a campaign I'm working on. So far its a kineticist with ninja class abilities added (except for no trace, which I'm just removing entirely.) Shinobi has omnikinesis removed and expanded element moved to levels 10 and 15, the second only applies to the most recently acquired element. Right now im working on separating air into air and lightning, and adding spells to make up for each. Aether is just removed entirely, and burn now applies to Ki, which works off of wisdom instead of charisma. How i modified ninja tricks go as follows;
>Poison use is added as a trick.
>All smoke bomb traits are removed and will be substituted by items.
>Ki block and charge are removed since kinetic fist/blade make up for that.
>Rogue talent options removed.
It acts as as a base for primarily ninjutsu user, however I have a plethora of archtypes added to add the rest.
>Taijutsu specialist is just the elemental ascetic archtype for kineticist, with kinetic fist made unique to it, and switches Ki to constitution.
>Genjutsu specialist basically replaces infusions with illusion wizard spells added as utility wild talents, with burn equal to half the spell level, wizard illusion powers replace internal buffer, and Ki is switched to intelligence.
>Ninja swordsman have a tengus swordlike weapon proficiency, and start the game with a masterwork swordlike weapon of their choice, as well as the kinetic blade ability, though it only applies to their sword. They get sword training (like fighter weapon training but specifically for swordlike weapons), which replaces infusion specializations.
>Medical nin is just the kiurgeon archtype, with kinetic healing made unique to it.
>Puppet master gets the aether puppet talent at first level, an inanimate construct, and craft skill bonuses to replace infusion specializations.
Any kernals of wisdom/criticism I can use to improve the class?

>>
>>51227244
I'd need to run the numbers on that, but it probably plugs a big damn hole.

One warning: current prerequisites and wording mean this:

A regular kineticist can take this to fire two full-scale real blasts. At level 7 that's 4d x2 or 8d x2 composites, while onslaught blasts are getting a single additional blast (thus from 4d to 5d or from 8d to 9d).
>>
>>51228028
It'd been added to the playtest with Onslaught Sniper specific text, so it can't be used with normal kinetic blasts. I might have to tighten the wording some to make sure it's entirely clear.
>>
>>51224705
How to I hide my vampire from the detect undead spell? Is there a spell or item I can use?
>>
>>51228028
Just to clarify: the extra burn redux and single extra die is probably good for the onslaught (thus the 'plugging the hole'). This was not a complaint that standard overtakes it. Mild clarification is probably good though to indicate if that's before or after omnistrike's x2 (should be before), and whether it's additive-to or multiplicative to burned blaster (ie; fire more volleys or adds to volley: it should obviously just add to the volley not multiply it).
>>
>>51228304
>Is there a spell or item I can use?

Don't give them a reason to use that spell in the first place.

In other words, high Disguise and good roleplay.
>>
>>51228322
That. It might sound like he's calling you an idiot if you don't stop and think, but it's actually the most effective first line of defense.

That detect's a vision cone, and you need reason to cast it; not like it's some perma-on sense.

People don't just stop, pull out their tricorder, and scan for negative energy brainwaves or something, unless they've got reason to believe they've got undead lurking nearby.

If people never *SUSPECT* that you're a vampire, chances are far better they'll never *FIND OUT*.

Instagibbed: At low levels, and with only the options available in the core rulebook, there is nothing you can do to avoid getting one shot by any competent monster other than to win by using some of those combat ending spells.

Core imbalance: Martials suck. Plain and simple. The fighter has zero options, the rogue has zero tools, the barbarian can work but has little support. Wizards have a plethora of encounter ending spells.

Not fun: Because the enjoyment in Pathfinder comes primarily from varied competence, and that is not possible with core rules only. You are either one of very few competent builds, or you are dead.

>>51228773
... Okay... still not sure if bait, but, just in case.

First, best and kindest piece of advice regarding pathfinder: RUN. RUN THROUGH THE SEA OF STARS, NEVER LOOKING BACK TO SHORE.

THAT SAID....

The CRB (core rulebook) is the least balanced of everything pathfinder. It has incomplete trap option classes (monk, fighter, rogue) and the biggest campaign-breakers (we call'em 'tier 1'): classes with abilities that can quite literally dictate large parts of an adventure. You might know them as "the classes who eventually attain level 9 spells".

You have to view the limited build and levels and stats as a resource in and of themselves: A character of level X has X feats, a list of class abilities, Y skill points, and so on. Those are all used to "buy" what you can do, whether that's "feat: weapon specialization" or "you can transform into a T-Rex".

For example; a Fighter can hit things hard.

But a wizard can either summon something that hits things hard while then going on to take other actions of his own, or make something that exists hit harder, or hit not very hard himself, or solve problems that don't require someone to hit someone else hard, like locked doors (easier and with less 'investment' of his character build/levels/etc), can determine WHERE the big quest macguffin is, can TELEPORT the party there (so much for all the encounters on the way), and so on and so forth. Same with the cleric and the druid. These guys can start saying "no. THIS happens" to the GM by around level 11-12, and were already ahead of the curve before they suddenly got to start dictating the narrative. This is the shit where you start being able to use the words "I wish", not as sarcasm or a remark, but as the start of a sentence.

Meanwhile the rogue doesn't get enough skill points to compensate for everyone else being just as capable with his skills but being able to grab a handful less... unless their Int is higher.
>>
>>51228864

Heavy Steel Shield, a true tool for true chivalry.
>>
>>51228733
>Why would I get "instagibbed"
Damage scales higher and is more easily avaiable at higher number than HP and AC in the beginning of the game, and it stays this way strongly for most of the game
>why is Core imbalanced (broad strokes)
Simple answer: Fighter can only do one thing as a class feature (hit things kinda hard), and nearly most other classes can do a dozen more useful things (such as ending combat at early levels with color spray, sleep, having high skill points to solve problems), and some classes can do your job just as good as you while still being able to do otherthings as well (such as the Clerics and Druids). Its even worse for Rogues and Monks, who can't even do their intended jobs well at all either.
>how is it not fun?
Basically, having your entire character be essentially rendered pointless, while other characters being infinately more competant and powerful than you merely due to the initial choice in class isn't fun, since it takes away player agency, narrative control, and the ability to participate and contribute evenly to the party skill set.
This forces GMs to have to actually know and understand the system enough to alter how the game functions in order to make sure everyone can have fun and an equal place to shine, however when a GM gets to that level they tend to realize its just easier to allow more balanced expansion content and abandon the Core only mindset entirely.

So generally, when a GM says Core Only, it usually means that said GM has know idea how the game actually works and is only making the restriction because they couldn't be arsed to study and learn the system proper or any other systems.
>>
>>51228832
>>51228887
>>51228906
Oh my. Why is my GM trying to get us to play this bag of dung?

So run, get out of there anon. Remember, having no game is better than being in a bad game

You likely have, at best, anywhere from 6 to 16 HP, depending on your class and CON score, at level. It is completely possible for any competent NPC with a 1d8 longsword and any kind of Str modifier to put you into negatives in one hit. God forbid a barbarian with a greatsword shows up. Level 1-3 is "rusty dagger shanktown" for a reason.

Core just has abysmal balancing, and the only things that even touch that are NOT core. It took the fighter several years and like, four splatbooks in order to jump up from "a worse barbarian" at best to "heeeeey, I can ACTUALLY DO THINGS that are unique now". Rogue had to be straight up buffed with Unchained in order to even hope to stand on its own. You know what else is in Core? Wizard and Cleric. You know what the can do? Cast Summon Monster.

>>51228935
As a whole entity, accounting for ALL the books, it's a bit better. Core Only is trash BECAUSE there's all these other options that at least attempt to bridge the gap, or at least provide alternatives. The problem is that there are retarded people who demand core-only for anything but an introductory session.
>>
>>51228935
Sunk cost fallacy. Here's a tip you'll thank me for in the long run.
>Don't play pathfinder
>Don't play D&D
>Yes, you CAN learn a new system that does nothing the above two do and still have fun.
>>
>>51228935
Honestly, I find Pathfinder to be a ton of fun.

But the issue is that the only reason it's fun is because there's so much available. "Core only" completely shits on that, eliminating the vast majority of usability and enjoyment options.
>>
>>51228935
He probably thinks the core only book is more balanced because casters don't do as much damage, and the splatbooks make martial classes do heavy damage, which makes them seem broken if you think damage output and killing things is what makes someone strong.
>>
>>51228971
>"heeeeey, I can ACTUALLY DO THINGS that are unique now".
But those are just reflavored wizards. Literally all the 'fixed' classes are reflavored wizards with small tweaks to vaguely represent the original class.

>>
>>51228887
Now, that's the 'balance' bit.
Instagibbed? That's what we call "rusty dagger shanktown". The fact that at the lowest levels, it's not yet rocket tag, but rather, anyone is basically one good roll or at best critical away from going into the negatives, and people may not have the abilities or skills needed yet to make you NOT bleed out and die miserably.

For example, if your wizard has 7HP at level 1, and a goblin does 1d4, then on average hits, you're bleeding out from three. two GOOD hits or one CRITICAL will also put you in the negs.

This may not seem TOO bad at first glance, but it's when we average things out over multiple campaigns that you see a serious issue: That one goblin is dead and will be replaced in the next encounter with goblin mooks, but your wizard needs only to die once to be dead. From nameless faceless bobbleheads, you're already potentially one hit from being dead when you are killed.

Meanwhile you're being just as bad for the encounter: a sleep spell could put a handful of gobbos into sheep-land. That ends things. The encounter will either end then and there as the party slits their throats and loots them, OR there were enough that if you didn't the party dies (still making that wizard the pivot-point), OR you fail, there were enough to deal with the party, and now they all get to act and half of you could croak on the spot now.

And that's at the earliest levels. EVERY encounter has these problems.

Later on though? Eventually even the fighter can start tearing two or three of those buggers apart in a single turn. Reliably at that. But the things attacking back? Same deal. Meanwhile things start getting "save or die" abilities, or "Save or you may as well be dead" most of the time instead (like charmed, paralyzed, impregnated by their tentacled lust, etc).

Three ways to figure it out.
1) Filename is Stormlord, which means the Lord of Storm's End, the Baratheon stronghold.
2) Stag emblem on his garment means he's a Baratheon.
3) Horned helmet is a signature of Robert.

He's missing the warhammer that's Robert's signature weapon, so it's possible that it's supposed to be a different Baratheon, but the Baratheons are one of the noblebright families in A Song of Ice and Fire.

Baratheon is a big boy, Duncan's closer to seven feet than six, and Lyonel's still got a few inches over him.

Oh gosh, it's actually one of the best things to come out of the series in the last five years! I highly recommend getting "A World of Ice and Fire," it's one of the few books that made me feel like I want to read more stories in the setting than just Westeros. It will also probably give you more than a few campaign or setting ideas!

The art is also consistently fantastic.

i need help to re-class a character. Played her once and decided part of her character was not well presented so:
Thurag is a LN Rogue unchained(Thug, Hidden blade) 3/Magus(kensai(Whip)) 1 Hobgoblin(fearsome).
Thurag comes froma tribe of Asmodeus worshipping hobgoblins that believes in slavery as a reasonable form of crime punishment. When a runnaway slave kills her father, she goes to hunt the criminal to bring them back to the hobgoblin Justice.
The only problem is that the concept fits far more a rogue 3/inquisitor 1 than a rogue 3/ magus 1, but the kensai gives some much needed feats for a functional whip/intimidation build and also the Wis from the inquisitor might make a 25 point buy character too MAD. any help with feats, maneuvers and general comment would be greatly apreciated (the DM let her be part of the black thorn knights so black seraph is preferable)

Well, if we're going historically, Nene would teach us that there were certain types of roots you could twine together, and when you wanted to use it, you soak it in hot water for a few minutes, which not only 'filled up' the fibers but made it soft and supposedly very similar to a male copulatory module except 'ribbed' for your additional stimulation.

There are also ivory and other such variants, though of course the comfort involved can vary as a result.
>>
>>51229354
Allow staves an armour to be summoned/bound at level one. The restriction on them is dumb. Also through an arsenal trick or an archetype, allow armorists to create staves with talents they don't have access to. If an archetype, could also have it where bound/summoned staves count as +X/masterwork quarterstaves, the enhancement bonus to the sphere also applying to attack/damage rolls but not tradeable for special weapon qualities.

I want to be able to play an Armorist as a jack-of-all-staves.
>>
>>51229354
I'm not impressed. A few more special qualities that cost tons of spell points to add really don't fix armorist. Think bigger.
>>
>>51229989
I want to see the errata.
>>
>>51230028
For what?
>>
>>51230027
Anon, you have ALL the special qualities. You can pick and choose whenever you regain your spell points, and at 12th level, you don't even have to rest to mix them around.

Its like being a Prepared Caster, but with weapon qualities. Then you get the Tools and Handyman stuff, and your versatility explodes. Plus its essentially Spontaneous special qualities, then qualities that can break the +10 limit, and once you get the Consume arsenal tricks, your power point consumption goes down considerably.

>>51230014
Sounds like a good idea. I'll do that too.

True story: we once raided the closet of a female sorceress and picked up this particular wand in her drawer.

When our bard tried to use it, the DM shit-eating-grinning says "upon activation of the wand, you can feel it vibrating vigorously"

We had a good 30 minute campaign derail talking about enchanted sex toys. Granted this was a light-hearted campaign from a bunch of 20-something dudes who hasn't really at all matured from making dick jokes.

Not sure if it's the same in PF, but in D&D the drow canonically know how to make things like latex and other synthetic materials
They DO have a habit of one house getting a monopoly on it, getting murdered and the knowledge lost, then another house rediscovers it after a few decades and the cycle repeats though
So it's not impossible that a major export from drow land is sex toys/BDSM gear

Just turn every instance of profane etc into something good:

>Profane Gift (Su)

>Once per day as a full-round action, a succubus may grant a profane gift to a willing humanoid creature by touching it for 1 full round. The target gains a +2 profane bonus to an ability score of his choice. A single creature may have no more than one profane gift from a succubus at a time. As long as the profane gift persists, the succubus can communicate telepathically with the target across any distance (and may use her suggestion spell-like ability through it). A profane gift is removed by dispel evil or dispel chaos. The succubus can remove it as well as a free action (causing 2d6 Charisma drain to the victim, no save).

Make it contingent on good deeds an shit.
