Jesus Christ Hairy Tarantula. That place is awful. How they (at least their location near the Eaton Centre) stay in business when Silver Snail is like 3 minutes walk away and is a FAR superior store by any metric I have no idea. It even has uneven floors, which are my personal trigger. Like I understand dust and poor decoration but that can be fixed in a few hours. If your store literally requires a handyman to tear the floor apart to make you not feel like your standing in the shitiest kind of redneck trailer then it's beyond saving.

Luckily it's just a generic anime/comic/mini-fig/hentai(?) store and not tabletop.

Well, it's true of comic book shops and it's true of music gigs, the run down hidden places are the only place you find the heads with the good taste and merchandise. I'm assuming because it's not very profitable. You go into the standard brightly lit mall shop and you only find shitheads and autists with crap taste and only the most commercially successful products for sale, only ever running polished, unchallenging, convention-ready modern D&D & MtG exclusively; alternatively, comic shops with just generic cape crap or shit normalfag clubs. What a bore - in the environment, people and merchandise. Only speaking from my experience, of course.
