Don't have it on tappedout yet but it's a janky affinity deck. I wanted a reason to use all those old cards from mirrodin like the Nim who say "+1/+0 for each artifact you control".

It needs a few more pieces and tutors tho. Only have demonic Tutor and fabricate in it so far. Getting that new chord of calling for artifacts card and Reshape soon. Need to buy some bigger artifacts like Myr battlesphere and Wurmcoil engine. The ones I have are in slobad.

It's very potent, Vial just kills you by accident and Thrasios finds big things to cast or just ramps you so you can cast the big shit you already have in hand.

Reyhan/Ravos: A general +1/+1 counter deck that's packing some recursion.

Tana/Sidar: Naya tokens.

Bruse/Ikra: This one I haven't entirely figured out yet. Seems like a life matters deck with some Doran aspects in it (Assault Formation, big butts etc). Only [;ayed against it once and it won with Aetherflux Reservoir.

Don't have any lists as none of the decks are mine.

In trying to brainstorm a Breya control/reanimator list. Has anyone here ever seen or heard of anything like this? I was thinking the following Reanimate spells: Reanimate, exhume, dance of the dead, Animate dead, unburial rites, soul exchange, stitch together and necromancy. Also sneak attack and karmic guide.
And the following fatties: Elesh Norn, Jin Gitaxis, Sheldrod, blazing Archon, sire of Insanity, grave titian, ashen rider, void winnower, and kedrekdt leviathan.

Any spells or targets I'm missing?

I rank the decks based on how consistently they perform within my playgroup (don't play outside of the playgroup). Angry Omnath is easy to pilot and handles multiple opponents very well. Shu Yun doesn't have the potential to multi-kill, but it is unsuspecting and does what it is supposed to do. Zada is a wildcard---intentional, but it still fizzles at times. I haven't played Talrand yet, and the 4colors are still works in-progress.

Best colors for control. White - removal/boardwipes, black - tutors/removal, red - looting/Planeswalker suite, blue - counters/Card draw/cantripping.
The colors also allows you to play a selection of planeswalkers that are all powerful and that aid in the game plan, and pretty much all of the colors are utilized with the exception of black which, while not used in planeswalkers, it's indispensable in tutors.

PW Suite: Nahiri the Harbinger, Dack Faden, Daretti, JTMS, Saheeli Rai.

She herself is a nearly perfect control commander in her own right. Utilizing things like thopter foundry and Eldrazi displacer to keep the flow of artifacts going she is able to lock down a decent board by herself.

It's generally based on Zealous Conscripts and Kiki-Jiki in the pile with Grenzo out. You can go at it without Grenzo, you go Faithless Looting/Animate Dead/Worldgorger Dragon/Seige-Gang Commander. You make infinite mana, followed by re-animating a different creature, getting Siege-Gang Commander, and using him to fling Grenzo at everybody infinitely.

I'm just starting to play Commander, and Magic again really after a few years. If I grabbed a Breed Lethality deck off ebay could I plug four Snapcaster Mages into it for some spice or are they not allowed or fucking whatever? I've got all these expensive ass cards that just sit here collecting dust. But in all seriousness I've only been playing the game again for maybe about a year and a little more and before that I only played standard from New Phyrexia to Return to Ravnica so my card pool is just really limited when it comes to building a edh deck.

Nahiri and Meren were bought relatively close to each other and I worked on the two of them for the majority of the year, Mizzix was a recent impulse target buy with a intro deck and the Eldrazi half of the Zendikar vs Eldrazi duel decks all boxed up together.

Found Atraxa at same target like a week after because I figured I would just buy Atraxa much later this year but seeing how fucked the market is surrounding her I just picked her up and slapped that finish Mizzix rule.

Despite the flack everyone gives precons for being flavor of the months or being overpowered I feel they are good building bases for colors you usually don't have a lot to build with for a relatively cheap cost and the upgrades in cost still seem more affordable than a whole deck dedicated to something else I can build like Mina and Denn or Ayli or fat Teysa.

TL;DR I'm cheap, precons are cheap and provide deck staples, my card pool is pretty whatever.

Of the 12 packs I pulled for Fate Reforged, THREE (3) were Yasova.
So I have decided to make three separate Yasova decks.

There's some inherent tension between making creatures bigger and turning them into mana dorks. Still, 4/4 of stats for 3 is a good rate in 60 card and maybe some card or keyword will come around that makes 0/0 creatures that ETB with a +1/+1 counter, kind of like living weapon.

The card advantage of having partners in the command zone is pretty serious when all the top French decks are grindy and filled with 1 for 1s

Kraum's combat ability is pretty pushed, 4/4 flying haste for 5 in a 20 life format is pretty nutty, especially with vial smasher damage and the grixis control shell dealing with blockers

It's too bad that vial smasher gets so much worse in multiplayer

I've been working on yidris deck i need some help on. I don't want to go full storm with it, as my playgroup frowns upon that. So I want to maintain some creatures in the build for appearances. But the deck has several ways to win. Aggavated Assault and any mana untap effect is game. Getting to tooth and nail guarantees that I can cascade into that combo. Worse comes to worse, i can beats. Mind's desire is there for value. I'd like to be a little more interactive though, as my deck straight loses to good control or stax. Is it just the nature of the deck, or is there something I can do? Thanks guys, the help is appreciated.

The card is better than Xantid Swarm in just about every situation. The only time it's worse is if your opponent just dropped a Baleful Strix or some other flier.

Sram is probably the strongest commander. Baral is my favorite even if he isn't flashy. Yahenni could be strong, but there are better mono black Commanders. Kari Zev and Rishkar are fun, but too low impact.

Alright /edh/, I'm doing it. Building Thopter Tribal with Breya. No focus on combos (maybe one for emergencies and stalled games), just making a huge number of Thopter tokens and pumping them up. Thopter Spy Network, Efficient Construction, Hangarback Walker and Breya herself are probably gonna be great at the former, with Jor Kadeen, Mirror Entity and maybe even Intangible Virtue closing out the games. Is there anything I'm egregiously missing? Any tips on making lotsa thopters and winning with them?

In our last meet up I eventually got my aurelia friends gisela with bribery three different times in multiplayer games.

I also recently got the Eldrazi Titans for Jhoira and my first match with them in deck I find one in my opening hand with arcane denial, beacon of tomorrow and four lands.

I curved right into it, bringing it in turn seven then took the extra turn and this was the only single player game we played. I had to put jhoira away.

I plan on building a commander deck that makes it harder and more frustrating as the game goes on, without any final goal or win condition. I plan on playing casual with a few friends, so will attempt to play with silver boarder cards as long as the group allows it. I have found many cards that I would like to have in this deck such as: Goblin Game, Bureaucracy, Checks and Balances, Dream Tides, Armageddon, and other cards. The problem is I do not know what commander to play or even colors I should play. I have played magic for a few years but my knowledge base is not large enough to know cards that would be included in this deck. Please /EDH/ help me achieve the highest levels of memes possible.

The first iteration of the deck was pretty much just five different infinite combos, and everything else was just drawing, ramping, and tutoring into those combos. It got really boring really fast, so I'm intentionally staying away from those now. With how good vial smasher/Kraum (and vial smasher/Thasios to an extent) is, Prossh might be a bit slow. Look at reccent top 8s, pure aggro.

Apparently to buff aggro. Basically things like mono-red were utter shit in commander and ramp/control was too strong. With 40 life aggro couldn't just rush you down like it's supposed to.

Funny thing is, after they did this, Wizards printed Vial Smasher who just buttfucks everyone in 20 life games.

My brother is playing Thrasios, let's him look for stuff he needs before/after casting VS, can also ramp you into bigger shit/more counters per turn. He always casts it with a counter or two back up.

That said, I don't think his build is super broken atm, the deck can be much stronger and I can deal with it since I play breya control/combo.

It's honestly great, suprised most of the top decks are Kraum. But he draws cards too I guess so it's deccent.

If he get Thrasios and VS online it's hard to stop him just holding up all his mana with counters (that burn me) and drawing/ramping end of turn.
