Yes I've been writing it all up and seeing how to organize it non-stop since then. I've got about nine pages worth of words and grammar conventions. I want to give a large amount of variability while avoiding being too repetitive since there are words like abomination/blasphemy/travesty which all sound good in a title but still end up being too similar to one another.

Also ended up deciding that the epithet is mostly cosmetic and describes your physical form while your true name is where you derive your powers from. It's not lovecraft straight from the book but I like to think the essence is pretty closely related.

So in the end most players would likely form their name choosing their spheres of influence and then they choose their epithet which will describe their shape in the physical universe. Which is why I was questioning how long to make it since it's supposed to be a physical description as well as a title.

I guess in the end I'll let it be quite a bit longer than a normal lovecraftian epithet would be so that people can make two or three different titles for different avatars of their manifestations or just one really long epithet describing their form in all its glory and maybe a separate one for how they actually want to be referred to by their servitor race and cultists

Also you get to design a servitor race to serve you and choose eldritch servant waifus and a bunch of other things I decided to add and am writing out.

I'm not entirely sure how long it would take to get this all out on gimp but I'm a dirty stupid NEET right now so I'm working around the clock, maybe a week or two.

Chaos: One of the most dangerous while also one of the most versatile (can enter small spaces, is not a giant who is on fire, etc). I have to believe I have danger directed towards me and I want to have a reliable destroyer.

Major Summon: Can't use, don't want to use.
Stay With Me: See below reasoning.

The choice to pick original succubus seems kind of redundant with Stay with Me, so I'll explain. First, the thrall choice as per the generic succubus/ritualist summons is not bad use as both are short duration summons and Stay with Me as it gives me a home base on two planes I can hide in. With all these summoners and paladin orders this could be wise to have.

Secondly, this is also just keeping a handle on my owner, and preventing her from pacting with anyone else. Her sunny disposition could always change or some new summoner could make her destroy me with rings since she owns me if she isn't in a pact with me already.

Additionally, I do not trust this situation. She has the ability to give me the means to destroy the planet while hiding the casting of the planet destruction spell. Either she is unusually powerful, I have a magic ability that is exceedingly rare to summon her in first place, or other entities are pretty good at cutting people like me down regardless. None of this quite meshes with what she told me. This seems like the best bet for protecting myself from eternal damnation. Thralldom may be overkill, but I'm covering my bases.

You're worrying a bit too much. The reason summoning is so easy is that all these creatures have a hard time getting to Earth & you're the key. They'll make a contract & obey your commands if it lets them visit Earth to do whatever it is they need / want to do there. And it isn't that bad to do a Major Summon. I mean, she'd probably be fine with you summoning the Demon Lord. She at least cares for her fellow demons. It's hardly planetary destruction. Having summoned anything (her) is like suddenly getting all this information that although very common in other realms, is exceedingly rare on Earth. Plus, she is unusually powerful. She went to summoning college. Those things are prestigious. Not any old succubus can get accepted.

The Ritualist will help me learn quite a bit. Maybe I can even finally get an equivalent to that Bachelor's in History without having to deal with second-rate bureaucracy. I can expect her accounts to be slightly tinged in demonic propaganda, but if I can't filter that out from the truth I deserve everything that happens as a result.

The Fallen Angel can heal me well enough, but her curse abilities could also come in useful.

The Slime's potions could theoretically increase my cognitive abilities, which is great for my studies. The Mud Golem could provide an excellent source of heavy labor... and since the Slime could probably produce supernatural cleaning solutions with no problem, the mess is no issue.

The Inhumanity is mostly for helping out with home maintenance.

As for the two Succubi? Well, uh. I'm not gonna lie, I couldn't resist.

Now, I don't get an affinity here because 3/7 isn't more than half. Still, I'm pretty sure Little Miss Tutorial I just summoned owes her loyalty to the Demon Lord, and since I belong to her after the hour is up I've just become part of said Demon Lord's chain of command. Somewhere near the very bottom, if not at it.

I feel marginally reassured about my circumstances. But I can't help but think that my pact is enough of a reason for the mages or paladins to come assassinate me or that the major summons will reduce me to a pet in the best scenario. the frost magic is all pretty basic stuff to make me harder to take down and give my weapons some extra oomph, the lightning gives me a simple magic attack, energy harvest to defray some of lightning's energy-intensiveness, and warp, so I can move where I'm needed most.
Defending a fort sounds like what I'm into, so I'll go with Kayla's Brigade
Lilliana for recon, Abaigeal for healing, Anna for hitting things with large weapons, and bump lilliana's physical to D cause I don't want her too frail.
Quests
City Guard-stopping the detritus begins at home. I should be great at dealing with criminals, I even have the magic version of a taser.
I expand my offensive options with cryo shot and get some traps with seeker shards and snare. oh, and I guess I'll take me a horse.
Dispelling-Lilliana can scout ahead to look for anything unusual, if she feels something's up Abaigeal can hang back with the archon while me and Anna deal with it. If the grievestep shows up she can tackle it while I ward off any undead it summons. If they try to ambush us during the dispelling process I can try out my new traps.
Take wall of ice, shatter, smite, and shock pulse. Pick up Faren Lovell, mostly because I wanna collect all the marks in my party, Haude Gourcuff because she seems balanced and we could use a ranged specialist, and increase Abaigeal and Anna's magical and physical stats, respectively, to A so they stay useful.

Fort Defence- Natch. Assuming I have a little prep-time prior to the battle beginning in earnest I can set up an ice wall and line it with snares and seeker shards, then sit behind there blasting any flyers out of the sky with smite. If it looks like the wall will be overwhelmed anyway I'll switch my defense for offense and use shatter, shredding anything currently trying to break through.
Take Mjolnir, Conduit, Ice Permeance, and Flash Freeze. Round out the group with Daemon Caras and Elyon, increase Daemon's magic skill to B. get some behemoths.
Defiant-with flash freeze I can more effectively deal with large groups and I've got a brief shot at unlimited poooooooweeeeeer with conduit.

Idea behind this build is a dedicated anti-mage of sorts; high hitting power in combination from Strength, combine with high mind and intellect. Force spells for both additionally hitting power and maneuverability. Agility, enhanced by the Battlemage Primal Etch, to give survivability. Arcane for obvious anti-spell spells.

Companions are mostly to deals with non-magic oriented foes and provide something a safe spot to retreat to in case of emergencies.

Consider nerfing Marble (perhaps make you get less bands if you have it because the thrall costs 2 bands instead of just one). Obsidian honestly seems fine. Slate could use an additional band OR some secondary effect.
