Here's the stuff from yesterday's Open Day about Adeptus Titanicus.

>The book is done, the minis are done. Titanicus is going to print next week and will be out this year.

>They are going to do a big release with boxed game plus extras. They pushed the schedule back a bit to flesh it out more.

>They have learned from BB that people are lapping Specialist Games up, so are going to get more budget for it.

>Adeptus Titanicus is delayed (it was originally planned to be released around february). Not being rushed out. Might be out before the end of the year.

>There will be complete plastic buildings (which you can destroy yourself, by cutting etc).

>Thanks to Blood Bowl, and the delay there is a possibility of plastic Titans which go on sale at the same time as the black book / resin ones.

>The book art for ‘Titan’s Death’ is being worked on right now.

>The game is set during the Horus Heresy in the spirit of the original Adeptus Titanicus.

>The scale will be 8mm – They decided on this scale after 3D printing a Marine, Dread, Leman Russ, Warlord and a Mastodon in three different scales. 8mm was deemed the best as you could see the details to the point of telling different armour marks apart but didn’t make the Titans too big.

>8mm will make a Warlord around 6″ tall (that’s what it looked like why Andy Hoare put his hands apart, don’t blame me if the final model is smaller or larger…).

>Down the road infantry and tanks are to be introduced.

>Other forces are also possible, this includes Xenos which can be introduced in a themed expansion, e.g. Adeptus Titanicus: Armageddon to bring in the Orks.

>Currently the Titans are being 3D modelled by Chris Drew, the Warlord has been done as the 40k version was originally 3D modelled so it was a case of just scaling things down and getting it to work as a model which can be manufactured.

>We may, may, get to see something at the Forge World Open Day…(may, depending on Tony Cottrell)

Soo, what are the chances that a space marine chapter deemed renegade/on the run from the Imperium (not apart of the Imperium yet not apart of Chaos) would team up with a Rogue Trader's fleet? A more chaotic neutral Rogue Trader, of course. Secondly, how would one field such a force on the tabletop?

My chapter, the Vermillion Wings (Blood Angel successors) have a crazy mutation that makes them cannibalistic, and they devour the dead after the battle in a great feast (their own dead are devoured by their battle brothers/squad mates). When the Inquisition found out, they called for the planet they resided on to be invaded and the chapter cleansed. The majority of the Chapter got away. The PDF of the world were forced into a penal legion in order to redeem themselves and the planet itself was occupied.

New player. I just bought a bunch of space marine plastic.

Am I better off going ultramarines for the special characters and flexibility from combat doctrines, or the cool marksmen/sneaky shit that Raptors get to do?
>>
>>50997005
Would they team up? Sure, why not. Galaxy's pretty big, I'm sure one RT would use some freaky beakies to do his dirty work, although a full chapter may be a bit wasted following him around. I've loved the idea of a squad of Marines accompanying one across the universe from the start, though, so go for it.

As for how to play, that depends on the chapter. I'd look for formations/tactics used in CSM codex if you want a tainted feel, but I don't see why they'd act any different than vanilla marines
>>
>>50997061
pick whichever colour of space marine is your favourite

I think the baby-easy-tier would be imperial fists though, since they're good with bolters you don't need to think about anything
>>
>>50997005
>(Blood Angel successors) have a crazy mutation that makes them cannibalistic

Yeah, it's called being a Blood Angel.

For real though, I'd say that the easiest way to run it on the table is to run a Blood Angels Primary and an Inquisitorial Agents Allied Detachment, with the Inquisitor standing in for the Rogue Trader and his minions.

Also, Rogue Traders can pretty much do whatever they want as long as they're rich enough, especially if they're on the borders/outside of Imperial space (where their warrant grants them absolute authority in the name of the Emperor). A well-connected Rogue Trader could almost certainly keep at least a chunk of them in his retinue, especially if they managed to change their heraldry and name. The RT can shield them from all but the most dedicated of questioning because of his warrant, but even then it'd be a tight-rope-walk for him to both utilize them and for them to remain at least somewhat in the shadows.

You don't just "throw away" a Space Marine Chapter after all. He'd at least seriously consider their offer, if not accept it on the condition of him being in command.

>why would you care about some shitty rogue trader who will die in a couple of years

The more successful Rogue Traders and still considered young at the age of 200, and have fortunes that rival and even excel those of any Space Marine Chapter. They command vast fleets of warships that can take on their Naval equivalent (and often dominate them if the Inquisitor is sneaky beaky about putting the good shit in them) and are so wealthy that money literally does not have any value to them - they think only in favors and assets, and even then it's a the macro scale. A Rogue Trader can VERY likely have something a Space Marine Chapter could want, such as ships, a base of operations, regular supply lines, and political protection, as well as softer powers such as information, intelligence, and some credibility.

Also, the anon said these guys weren't Chaos Marines. They are still Loyalists, just with a cultural mannerism that pissed off the wrong person. Though I'll admit it's a pretty big one. Some Mortals, especially the more powerful ones, can also command the respect of Space Marines through their actions and deeds. It's not super-common, but it often does happen.
>>
>>50997150
If you're going to use the Punisher with a Tank Commander, I'd highly recommend trying to find the points to get Pask. Rending Punisher is great, and even better if you make him your Warlord so him and his buddy re-roll 1's to hit and wound. This is good because it helps you re-roll Gets Hot rolls for the Executioner.

Would it be weird to fluff a Stormhawk Interceptor as having a Dreadnought-style setup for the pilot? The cockpit looks rather similar to a sarcophagus. Would a marine with the injuries needed to make a dreadnought necessary still have the reflexes and skills needed to pilot an aircraft?

It has been known to happen. Blood axes are the dedicated Ork Mercenaries, though really I think most Orks can be convinced to fight someone else by giving them enough loot.

Anyway, I made a thread a while ago asking if I'd be able to play a tau army with little to no tau.

Basically, I'd like to make an inclusive SJW Tau army where there is at least 1 squad representing each faction.

Now, I've learned that this will obviously be quite difficult to do as my Tau units will have to worry about being shot but here is my main issue.

Can orks fight alongside space marines without additional any additional issues when allied into a tau army or will their individual faction alinements come into play.

Because it's half the reason we paint our models.

On the one hand, you paint and convert and such for yourself, so your dudes look nice.

On the other hand, you do it so when you play others, they don't just see a mess of grey tide or horrible shit.

I have to ask, does that look good to you? I mean... Martian dust is one thing. But it's easy to pull off in a style that's subtle and high quality. Really all you have to do is maybe paint dark brown over that texture paint and give it a wash of agrax. Then pain the rim brown and you're good.

There's a kid at my local store that's similar. He has a ton of models, and doesn't run super cheese lists most of the time (in fact I played against his all Deathwing list which was fun).

But his models are all spraypainted gold. Not even GOOD gold, just shitty $3 spraycan. He never paints, never tries to improve. We've all offered to help him get a really nice, good gold on his models, but he just... doesn't try.

Aside from the fact that he's a little spergy, it's the only bad thing about playing him. It just sort of ruins the narrative experience when you've got... bright gold Deathwing, who are supposed to be all serious and mopey, doing this stuff.

I'm trying to help. If you'll never change your mind, I guess it doesn't matter. But even if they don't say it, unpainted/poorly painted stuff is no bueno, especially if you don't try to get better.
>>
>>50997276
Dreadnought pilots spend most of their time in stasis and tend to get a little groggy. Wouldn't want your pilots to be like that.

>>50997471
They don't use Dreadnougnts, so maybe not the most fluffy choice.

>compared to what they are in modern fluff (non-existent)

Very, very little about Rogue Traders has changed at all, even discounting the Rogue Trader RPG's. There are still all sorts of RT's - some of them barely have a ship to their name, and some of them command entire empires just beyond the fringe of Imperial space and rule in the name of Terra (allegedly).

The rich and powerful RT's are kind of a big deal in the fluff, and always have been.

That's the best one for making guys look dirty, but some of the actual dry paints can add good effects too.

In hindsight Astrogranite/Mourn Mountain may have been easier, but if you do it right the contrast will make it look really good. Your main issue right now is that the base draws the eye more than the model itself, which is a pretty big problem. To fix that, make sure you cover the WHOLE base with whatever the basing paint is called, then coat it in Agrax (spots of Seraphim Sepia add a neat thing too) to darken it down. A light drybrush of Zandri Dust will make it look top-tier.

You can help the model draw the eye better with highlights, I don't know what the armor is but some Dawnstone/Administratum Grey will make it look ten times more interesting. Just keep it clean, bad highlights ruin a model like nothing else

Space marines can't ally with orks

Tau can ally with orks
Tau can ally with space marines

As such, if I play tau and take both ork and space marine allies (if that can even be done). So do the space marines treat the ork unit as a tau unit, or are their additional consequences for causing two units to ally via Tau that normally could not as an individual faction?

Basically what >>50997737 said. Having gotten into Admech more and more, the best ally is not being seen, especially against armies like Tau. Hide until everyone is in place, then let him have it. Just be careful of Tau's mobility, Jet Packs should never be underestimated.

Invest in Ruststalkers too. With all the MC bullshit they get, Fleshbane and at initiative AP2 are hilarious against guys that statistically probably won't wound you at all.

Boob armor and thin waists has always been fucking retarded. "It's just a game" "It's a fantasy world" has never been good reasoning for stupid things. I want to see some cool looking women, not sluts in slutty versions of male clothing. It's dumb and people who like it are dumb and weak.

>>50997832
Silver was actually part of your problem. The rim should complement the base, in your case Rhinox Hide, Steel Legion, or another such brown would work. I can't stress it enough but people liking your models has less to do with the painter's skill and more with how the colors and bits all come together.

It's tough to say. For some women the whole Lady Death/Vamperilla look is a part of their power fantasy. For others they would want something a bit more practical. Less indidivualy shaped boobs more an area that stocks out that on either end is shaped a shirt with boobs in it. Really, hard to say.

I am going to play in about 9 days hopefully. I just finished building my Veterans for my Guard army. They aren't amazing, but I did do a little kit bashing to put them together so I'm happy with it. Whatever is painted by that time is what I'll be going with. I might even go before then if I'm impatient. I really want to play, but I don't want to go without any painted models. I don't know anyone, so I feel uneasy. I feel like it would be easier if I had a totally put together army that looked decent enough and I had my rule book and all that.

Slim curve-hugging armor on sisters of battle makes perfect sense. It's a universe run by a hyper religious cult, and the army in question is all female and very proud of this, as it's historically an enormous part of their identity.

Armor in 40k is not just about practicality, either - religious dogma demands it be ornate, and a display of faith and beauty as much as actually work. FFS they stick scripture parchments all over themselves. There are units which beat themselves with scourges.

You are a special kind of stupid if you think all armor must look practical in 40k.

Yeah, already confirmed that Red Scrops still use some legion-era stuff, like Kharybdis Assault Claws and a few older dreads, and that the book will include ways to take that stuff in normal Space Marine lists.

Tau will get new Tigersharks, along with official rules for the Supremacy Armor, The R'Varna, the Y'varha, and the new barracuda. Hopefully will include rebalanced rules for Hazard suits, as well as the experimental crisis rigs, Rhymer, and Orly, There's rumor of a new super-heavy Tau tank, and I'm hoping for a gue'vesa or kroot list similar to the R&H list.

AdMech will get scorn and derision, as befits them. Just kidding, there will probably be rules to take a lot of their HH stuff, too, like the super canon and the flyer.

>I feel like we need an artist's opinion on this

The current look of Sisters is ok, its what Jes Goodwin has designed them to be and while some elements are obviously sexual (corsets, boobplates, BIG FAT ASSES) they are not sexualized, its not like they are Infinity's pin up stuff which has less sexy themes but are more sexualized in their proportions and poses. Their current look is iconic at this point, it encapsulates 40k's gothic and over the top characteristics while remaining fairly unique.

Im not sure why everyone's jumping the gun now and declaring SoB to be super sexual sluts or something, they've never been 'sexy' just had sexy related things in their armor, the models are made to be attractive as a model not as a woman and they are made this way so everyone can look at the model and say 'ah thats a sister of battle and not some random dude in effeminate power armor'.

Ugh. I really hope they have anything else up there sleeve for the Templars. Having a formaton with Cadians just seems weird, even fluff-wise, since BTs usually see normal people as barely worthy of being human and it took Grimaldus a ton of effort and command power to get his detachment on Armageddon to properly respect the local troops. The only person present on Cadia that I could imagine having enough influence on the Templars to get them to fight hand-in-hand as equals with the Guard would maybe be Celestine, though she'll most likely arrive mid-engagement anyway.

Tau are desperate allies to Orks and SM. Orks, SM, and Tau all treat each other as "enemies" for the purposes of targeting and joining units. They can't move within 1" of each other.

Further more, if a Tau, Ork, or Space Marine unit is within 6" of another "allied" faction, they have 1 in 6 chance of not being able to do anything.

Further more, The Orks and Space Marines cannot be deployed within 12" of each other. Pretty sure this includes infiltrate and deep strike.

So as long as you plan on keeping them all away from each other, sure, they can ally.

Most people let me count my Guard as AoC to Tau, though, since I've converted them to gue'vesa.
>>
>>50998583
Thanks. It seems like you have a good opinion on things too. They definitely look highly trained and badass. I don't meta game no, but I do sometimes mix in highly optimized units so I can also field more fun and less strong units. Making a fun list is great, but getting stomped hard ruins that fun. I like a healthy balance of overpriced rule of cool units and effective ones.

Catachans are definitely good for looking like they have Forward Sentries. I am currently using a bunch of Catachans as Conscripts rules wise, but in my own fluff, they are prisoners. So I've painted their clothing orange and what not. As Veterans right now, I really like the idea of them with shotguns, so I've taken Marine Scout bodies with shotties, used the beret Scion heads and then mixed in some special weapons from the AM Command Squad sprue. Then I gave them the Demolitions and Grenadiers upgrade. Lots of fun. Even though they are bad in close combat, I like the idea of them being a bum rushing squad, spamming shotguns, explosions and melta.

I also made a count as Straken using various parts from the AM Command Squad sprue and the Scion sprues. I'm hyped to run Bullgryn, Priests, Conscript blob, Infantry blob, and Primaris Psykers. And of course, the Kasrkin bros as Scion count as. I really like the Taurox Prime model too. It's got great weapons in addition to looking really cute and fun. My next endeavour involves orbital striking Yarrick with Karamazov while Yarrick is close to vehicles or in close combat.

So there's like no penalties at all for combining units that are rated as Battle Brothers then?

That might be the push I need to start collecting figures. I like various chapters of Space Marines, including the Blood Angels, Deathwatch and Grey Knights, having Imperial Knights and Inquisition be able to pop up would be neat too, or Sisters of Battle if I ever hated my wallet enough to try and build a force of them. And Imperial Guard has some cool toys.

So if I get a bunch of armies rated as Battle Brothers to each other I could kind of mix and match them in a way as long as I keep proper detachment structures and such?

> all these bundles popping up

I literally just got into 40k and I'm pretty excited about them. Started with the Start Collecting! Space Marine set, then picked up a Killteam box so I'd have a rulebook and another tactical squad, now I'm eyeballing one of the Armored Assault kits come payday. That coupled with a squad of older Terminators and a couple of Rhinos I picked up means I'm well on my way to a pretty decent SM army.

First of all, I gotta say it, I hate the taurox. It just looks like something that could be pushed over. Rulewise and in regards to loadout, it's great, but I would have preferred a distinct and custom chimera chassis.

My guard army is what you would expect, infantry, Leman Russ, Chimera, Kasrkins etc painted as generic Cadians.

However, recently I've been leaning a lot more towards Kill Team via HoR. So I packed most of my Guardsmen into a box and started anew. I kept out a commander, some cadians and some storm troopers with catachans as the aforementioned forward sentries. So everything is rather stock, I only had my first match yesterday. But the further we get into our campaign, the more units will be changing. I'll try and remember to post updates here and you can look out for them, but for now I need some sleep!

The Emperor will preserve you, Guardsman!

Why can't sergeants take lasguns? It fucks me off that they either have to take a ccw and lasgun which is shit for shooting or I have to find a bolter somewhere since I don't play marines and model it in.

Every other fucking army with a shooting squad the sergeant can take a ccw or the same gun as the squad. It's bullshit.
>>
>>50998896
The optimum would be some formation allowing you to mix-and-match the units of all 3 forces how you see fit, enabling you to play a single army, two or even all of them. Just give the formation some generic rule that fits all armies and a few restrictions and it'd be done.

Here is the problem. For quite a few women, sexuality is connected to their power fantasies. So for a lot of women Lady Death looks like the ideal of a powerful female character. She can dress how she wants, flaunt what she wants, fight and be as powerful as she wants. Red Sonia is the same ideal that power is sexy, and being powerful and being sexy are connected.

That's why I was saying they need to ask the community and do market research. Find out if it's time to switch how their sisters of battle dress or keep them the same. Because they need to get a few women in the art department to review the design, and put in their thoughts on it.

I find this annoying too. Having a Bolter for the Sergeant is pretty comfy, but not benefiting from First Rank Second Rank is also annoying. Plus when you have a lot of Infantry Squads and other leaders with Bolters or Bolt Pistols, it adds up.

Personally I find it easier to get a Bolt Pistol for modeling purposes, so if I add anything, I add that. Also another thing I am bothered by is how expensive Power Weapons are for Guard. Shit should be like 10 points for the Sergeants.

In regards to fluff and the Templars thoughts on normal humans, remember that the fluff has changed for the BT since the Helsreach novel released. The Templars now worship the Emperor like the common man of the Imperium (which I personally don't mind, I mean, they were already Teutonic knights IN SPACE).

I wouldn't mind if the BT were made more accepting of, and even encouraging, normal humans to fight alongside them. They're extremely zealouslous and would appreciate zeal shown by anyone, be they a space Marine or a normal human.

I like the idea of Templars fighting alongside Guardsmen, being impressed by their valor, and then insisting they accompany them on a crusade, much to the Guard's unease.

>"ACCOMPANY US ON A CRUSADE FELLOW WARRIORS OF THE EMPEROR, YOU HAVE SHOWN GREAT COURAGE AND ZEAL."

>"ehh, we have our duties in the Guard though"

>"THAT MATTERS NOT, ALL THAT MATTERS IS ZEAL"

>"Well, what's the goal of this crusade anyway?"

Companies that like money have to sell to a broad audience. Back when they started out selling to only men was okay because their were more people willing to get into the hobby. Video Games hadn't taken off yet. So the competition for the consumer's dollar or pound was lower. Plus when the started they were pretty much the ONLY fantasy miniatures game around. Then the primer Sci-Fi game. They had a monopoly.

Now they are facing greater competition, their competitors have good games and products and are challenging their market share. They have to consider broadening their customer base and penetration into new markets to fuel growth.

In sales stagnation = death. A company that cannot compete will fall by the wayside and be swept away.

They don't have to enter nubile, quivering markets but since they're a publicly traded company beholden to their shareholders they are required to do their best to grow their profits or enact plans that will grow their profits in the future.

It seems like GW has been more focused on getting previous customers back (notice the big PR push from their community team leveraging Duncan et al., love for armies previously ignored), selling people into new armies through self-contained box sets which are ostensibly board games but really just have sweet deals on the models included (Calth/Prospero, Overkill, etc.), liquidating old inventory (AoBR repackaged into Vedros, old Knight sprues into Renegade), and getting back into Specialist Games (Blood Bowl, Adeptus Titanicus, and they name dropped BFG in the original announcement that Specialist Games is back).

>>
>>50999556
The melee weapons are strength D, though it's less powerful than you might remember it. They are guaranteed to remove anything short of another superheavy or ubercharacter in a single round, but it's usually overkill. Doesn't deal with hordes any better, but superheavy walkers get Stomp, which allows them to drop some small blasts on the table as they literally walk all over their opponent.

As a result Knights are fucking nasty in melee and durable enough to get there too. Sword and gun Knights are absolutely viable, it's just that their guns are so good you can get away with and may well prefer a Knight that dualwields.

Huh...I didn't think about that I was going to go with A thermal cannon, Missile launcher, and a Chainsword. Since the thermal Cannon is a large blast S9 Melta with a 36 inch range I figure it helps solve my anti-tank issue that my army had last game.

Of course my list now ditched the Autocannon Havocks for Missile launcher ones. Switches out the Lord's and Bike Champs load outs so both of them have lightning claws and combo Melta.
Then I gave the leader of my Termies a combo melta. Then I added a Raptor Squad Leader has LC + Combi-Melta. So maybe I fixed my tank problem and I don't need to focus on that as much?.

>75 points a riptide
They are 180 points base. The ion accelerator is +5 points on top of that and FNP is an additional 35. The Wing is 3 units and each unit can have up to 3 models. For each model in each unit, that unit gets +1 BS, also, or something along those lines. Give two out of three suits in each unit target locks (additional 10 points per unit) and they give zero fucks about shooting at the same targets, too.

Some people like refreshing the store to see the new updates, and they always hit NZ first. So when these guys cream themselves over it, they link to all the new shit on the store so that they and other posters can all hi-five each other over sweet deals or new mini details.

Now, whenever you visit the GW page it resets the regional cookie with whatever the link is. So if someone was like, "check all this shit out!" on saturday, and you clicked it, and haven't been back for two days, your shit's still Aus'd the fuck out.

Are Genestealers as cool as they look?

I was reading through their rules and I love the idea of their Cult Ambush rule, and the ability to move units back to reserves, and the unstoppable WITNESS ME trucks, and ability to give damn near anything Infiltrate and Shrouded
>>
>>50999733
yeah no shit been playing orks for 20 years there rubbish/ish now
>>
>>50999809
Yep, they're great. And easily a top 5 army.
>>
>>50999809
They are probably the best translation of fluff-to-crunch currently. Very strong, and very fun to play and play against.
>>
>>50999736
9 riptides in a CAD. They take elite spots. This doesn't count the FW Riptides, one of which takes a FA slot while the other takes a HS slot. Most Tau players expect these to be 3 to a squad once Fires of Cyraxus drops, so look forward to a 27 riptide detachment in the future.

Wonder if they'll get wings, too, so no one has to pay troop/HQ tax.
>>
>>50999841
>a 27 riptide detachment
Just because it can be done doesn't mean it is even viable. At that kind of points level you can say hello to my Wraith Titans formation army and get fucked, or have to deal with my Warlord Titan and fully-functional 2k+ army as well.
>>
>>50999823
>>50999826
I was considering a Deathwatch army with Grey Knights and/or Inquisitor detachments, or a Salamanders Space Marines, or Blood Angels for my first army, but holy shit, Genestealers are fucking cool.

>>
>>50999899
I play Grey Knights, and while I FUCKING LOVE their models and fluff, we got royally fucked in our 7th update. We're absurdly weak and any aspect(shooting, melee, psyker) we try to focus on doing, another army specialized in that can blow us out of the water.
>>
>>50999899
GSC is definitely the most powerful out of those, so go with them if you're concerned at all with winning.
>>
>>50999919
I'm actually playing a 40k point match this weekend. Basically a "good vs evil" match and each side gets warlords, and then a Warmaster. 5v5, so 8k points each.
>>
Imperial Guard are the best army, and best faction in 40k and no one can prove otherwise.
>>
>>50999928

Sounds fun anon
>>
>>50999929
Correct.
>>
>>50999907
Well from GW's Fall of Cadia battle report, a lot of people obviously do.

Even so, the popularity of that points bracket doesn't change how a list composed of literally nine units would get absolutely shit on by a contemporary army fielding Titans and shit.

>>50999919
I used to do this in my old club every couple of months. Fuck that was so much fun.
It wasn't all bad because we had a several-weeks-long 90k points game as a send-off before it closed down for good. Everyone brought literally every model in their collection. The game took 19 turns.
>>
>>50999945

Yeah we try to do a big match every 3months or so, they can be a blast.
>>
>>50999919
I wish I had people to play 40k with, no one I know owns an army much less enough for apocalypse sized matches.

I'm gonna bust out just about all of my GK, Tau, and DE. Here's the list I have so far. Some players can't field 8k, so others are allowed to dip into the points to fit it out.

>>
>>50999919
I wish I could. I wish I could play games at least 2-3 times a week, but I don't have any friends yet and my army is barely built. Once I get more friends, I'd love to start playing more often and go to various stores and homes to play with people.

Until then I stare at a half painted army as a pile of work and sleep with dreams of playing!

not bad, When I go big I go Nids, 6 models and I am almost at 8k already. No one else has anything titan like enough, so its usually me and other nid guy against everyone else.

Eh, I like the idea of vanilla humans facing off against all the insane dangers the galaxy has to throw at them. I find playing normal humans more exciting than magic space elves or super soldiers or immortal skeleton robots, because they're all on a level where they're much more equipped to deal with the other shit. In a universe with as much horrifying powerful shit as 40k, it seems like humans shouldn't belong, but they still manage to stand against everything.

It's literally a Knight for durability yet it costs as much as a Warhound, and manages to have a level of firepower worse than the latter and only a bit better than a fucking Wraithknight.
>>
>>50999208
If get two onagers with neutron blasters and maybe another with icarus array on the event you ever need anything out of the sky every. His misslesides will Shit themselves in terror at the thought of hanging around where dunecrawlers can see them.

Riptides can be eaten by most of your infantry provided you can weather the storm.

Ghostkeels are something you need to bring ignores cover for, luckily it's weapons aren't terribly long ranged, if you have lrecision shots hit the drones.

Xv 25 's aren't bad at all

Drop CCS, you have nobody to order anyway, unless you follow your vets into front line. Punisher is only useful on Pask, get a different variant or Pask. Carapace armour is a waste of points on CCS, if it's not inside Chimera it will die to a fart. You could give your CCS 4 melta and demolition charge, out them on Vendetta and throw them at the biggest meanie on the table. Different take if you have models, give all your vets Inquisitor buddies with a tax of 12 points all your inquisitors can have warlord traits and not be warlords, plus amazing fuckery with items. Master of Ordnance is cool if you have points to spare

I need to build a SHIT TON of scenery and terrain for my 8'x6' table since apparently all non-insanely priced options for tabletop have been discontinued.
