I need help, /tg/.
I can't play a character peraistantly, since I get hooked on other stuff every two weeks or so. Once I want to play a happy-go-lucky swashbuckler, then a devoted paladin, a Large Ham warrior and so on, and it just sucks because I never get to enjoy character developmemt or focus and improve on one playstyle. Sorta upsets me because of that, especially when I see people who can do it.
What do?
Just settle on one character and play it. When you'd otherwise switch, just don't do it and try to focus.

This is your calling to become a DM.

Nah, I'll probably be pretty shit as a DM and I do enjoy playing characters more

I got the same problem OP. You can either combine the characters or make a PC around your party. If there's already a swashbuckler then play a devoted paladin.
Large Ham+Happy-go-lucky swashbuckler seems a good combination.
I don't know where your image is from or who he is but my first glance of it leads me to think you should make a gruff paladin, a knight in sour armor.
Hope that helps!

I've had the same problem. My best advice? Play the Chaotic Skillmonkey with Magic if you can. Bards, Rogues-with-Magic, and Artificers work the best. You're free to do a lot of different things, and you've got a pretty good chance of derailing the campaign on top of it.
Then again, depends on the system and setting.
