How does /tg/ XCOM?
I'm playing final mod with openxcom right now, and am particularly interested in squad composition

those hemorrhoids look painful
I love X-Com, the real 1990s turn based squad tactical combat game. Grew up on that game man but this has no place in tg/

I remember losing 3-4 dudes every mission just trying to get off the skylander.
I would always send out a couple of recruits with no weapons to take the initial hits.
Aliens should send nanobots and get everyone killed or brainwashed.
Since this thread is here. What is a good XCOM tactical style game? I was looking at something like level seven omega protocol, does anyone have another suggestion?

Classical or modern?
Strike! uses the modern one's cover and action system (a bit modified), which I think is a better fit for tabletop. Action points tend to end up fiddly.

Hey, I've recently statred playing XCOM again too, though I'm using the Area 51 mod. Not really the right place for this though.

Infinity is basically XCOM + Ghost in the Shell/Appleseed.
