howdy fa/tg/uys. I'm looking to run a futuristic/modern setting for my dnd friends. We've played dnd 5e for awhile but we want to spice it up. Is their any game type you'd recommend? I'm really looking for something that has great combat since my players really don't like the flow of 5e's combat.

I suppose you mean great gun fights?
GURPS, Unknown Armies, Dark Heresy & co,Albedo.
Anything else? Modern/Futuristic game that isn't DnD is a bit vague.

I'd really like to do something in the vein of (god, please don't get the wrong impression here) cyberpunk. Like Neuromancer or blade runner.

The most played games are Shadowrun and Cyberpunk 203X.
I know there's a pic with more than a dozen cyberpunk systems, let's hope some fa/tg/uy has it saved on his HD.
And if you speak french, there is the absolute marvel that is C.O.P.S., where you play police officers in future California, with every feel from old noir movies to SWAT assaults on space stations, including buddy movies from the 80s and gritty honk kong thrillers.

You might want to take a look at Eclipse Phase too if you are interested in post-cyberpunk
Bumping for cyberpunk recs.
