In one of the Cain books, I think "Cain's Last Stand", warmaster Varan has a book that is seen as being the absolute universal truth and the greatest thing ever written by his insane followers, and poorly written insanity by everyone else. At a few points his followers are confused why imperials don't instantly turn to chaos after reading a portion. You could do that but make it a Diatenics expy instead of a Mein Kampf expy.
