Alright so here's what I've got. You wake up with partial amnesia in front of a mirror with Kanzaki Shiro holding out a deck and saying 'TATAKE' to your face. You have the option to take the Rider deck, which will lock you into Gauntlet mode and require you to win the Rider War to confront him and get your powers back.

If you refuse, you don't get the Rider Deck and the benefits therein, but also don't participate in the war and miss out on the reward. Also, Mirror Monsters hate you forever and will keep trying to hunt you, but those aren't a problem for the average Jumper. Odin also scales with you if you try to interfere with the War at that point.

The issue is that if you don't participate or have temporal immunity, the Rider War basically goes on forever, because Shiro is a LOT more stubborn this time around. He sees you as a key to getting his wish and what he wants, and REALLY wants you in the War one way or another.

Unlike Orikan, and fitting the tragedy of the original series, he's in over his head. A lot.

A possible reward is your own Mirror World and ability to make Mirror Monsters. I'm SORT OF contemplating a one-jump-per-use Time Vent Card, but I'm not a fan of that idea.

Okay cool. Some of my Devil-Themes are greed, desire, wonder, excess, want, architecture. So my themes represent stuff based on wanting to see it and experience it all. Stuff like drinking water harvested from Mars, or swimming in Titan's methane lakes, or turning Venus into one gigantic palace, or owning every book ever written. So one Third-Circle be all about building a wonders like a massive library, or grand palaces while another one embodies those themes by snorting magic coke while she gets gangbanged by lessor demons.

But no, Martial Arts Charms can't be upgraded by higher Essence repurchases. That's something native Charm sets get. Martial Arts styles are always static collections that you can't improve or branch off of. The only exceptions are for the splat native styles, (that's Terrestrial Hero Style for Dragon-bloods, Throne Shadow Style for Sidereals, and Infernal Monster style for Infernals) which can be expanded by their Exalt type.

...I'm still not entirely decided.

I'm kinda wondering if I should go with the Devil Tiger I once played (which would have themes of Serpents, Masks, Marble, Crystals, Grandeur, Glory, Greatness, Exaggeration, Excess, Hyperbole, Illusion, Hype, Masks, Mountains, Size, Fortresses, Trickery)

He was a Malfean Defiler, but had some Ebby influence... Basically bluffed his way through everything. At one point he tore a Slayer apart, and then scared the rest of his pursuers off his back... with 1 mote left, and practically no chance to survive if it failed.

Turned into a bit of a Mardukth-like Devil Tiger, except his HUEG was basically a lie. His entire Devil Tiger was build around bluffing and pretending to be the most powerful being to ever walk Creation. Ended up being sort of world-serpent/Jörmungandr type deal.


Or if I should go with something new, that would be more fitting to my chain, in which case it'll probably be themes that have something to do with Prisms, White, Color, Lights, Gems, Diamonds, Relaxation, Sleep, Sloth, Creativity, Divinity, Hedonism, Pleasure, Luxury, Benevolence, Amusement.

Not entirely sure what /that/ Primordial should look like though, aside from shiny...


And, unrelatedly, I think I figured out how to beef Warforms up. Basically upgrade it from a man/beast fusion, to something that harkens back to the Clay Man and the Ur-Beast.

With that perk, your warform would be more like behemoth than a mere beastman. Physical might far in excess of your Essence, just as they have, and a grand, primeval appearance.

...Does that sound interesting?

I'm not using to working with a non-linear CYOA format and it's really starting to show. That and I never really 'fixed' the idea of the Netherworld reward or adapted it. Some folks complained it made the Warehouse obsolete. Others said it was fine. Others suggested make it have a harder upkeep.

I got a LOT of conflicting suggestions and wasn't looking forward to sorting it out. My current idea is that the Netherworld starts off as just a castle, but adapts 'lands' based off of previous and future jumps, expanding as your chain does. It falls into the usual anarchy of Demons when you're not running it, but inactive companions can keep the peace in it and do things in the Netherworld while you remain in jump adventures.

That's the closest thing I've got right now. Overall, I think I bit off more than I could chew on this. This has more to do with my personal limitations than anything.

Maybe you can have it so that you can only store actual items in the castle or that anything that jumper puts into the Netherworld and remains there at the end of a jump becomes a permanent part of the Netherworld and can't be taken out.

The non linear format is a bit more tricky because it is essentially like a huge scenario. If you really need help I'd recommend asking dirge for advice and tips, after all dirge is the scenario master who literally wrote about 100 pages of scenarios in one jump.

My own advice would be to focus mainly on the beginning stuff you gain with the items/companions/perks and the exposition about what your going to be facing, and having the middle focus on the rivals that you mentioned before with them basically acting as cartoon super villains constantly challenging you in between the starting location and Overlord's castle Like a mid-boss.

At the entrance or in the beginning floors of the Overlord Castle would be where you and your rivals have one final climatic battle where you either convince them to join you or just kick them out of the Netherworld or just kill them.

Finally for the final part you should use whatever you planned for the finale.

Or you can just gather your thoughts and do whatever, your the jumpmaker after all, Heavens, so it your decision what goes into the DLC.

The demons might all escape from hell. For universal level, you would need big bang like energies. Whatever you put in would be reduced to it's subatomic components and wouldn't likely come out as anything other than the standard supernova element mix. Same deal for singularities, probably.

You could use magic or reality warping to circumvent all that, but for technological, a von neumann machine is your best bet. It's a classic for a reason.

I love this world! The plan is quite simple, as a guild of tradesmen I’m going to be using our unique traits to get create a series of academies that will spread literacy and knowledge. Well, symbiotes bond with biology, and warframes are technology, so on their own it wouldn't work. You'd need to modify them for compatibility, giving biological elements to the warframe or some sort of technorganic upgrade to the symbiote. That would add some extra complications to your project. What kind of funny shenanigans have people pulled in the Sitcom Jump? Here's one of mine.

Bring Larry David to 30 Rock for a week, then switch and bring Liz with him to Curb Your Enthusiasm. Because the world follows the rules of whatever show you're in, it'd be an episode of 30 Rock where Liz can't understand why Larry is so picky about everything. Things generally work out for the best on her show, even if it takes years. Then she'd go back with him to LA and realize his life is EXCRUCIATINGLY ANNOYING.

Then to top things off, I bring both of them back to Seinfeld New York.

Also the character select menu would have so many magical girls players would probably get exhausted and give up before choosing the character they actually want to play as.

And every boss would have a ridiculous amount of healthbars and cheapass gimmicks:

I ended up making some guest appearances on Elvira's show. I kept predicting what the characters were going to say next. Mostly "Arrrrgh". Said calmly and without inflection. And then Elvira would complain about spoilers. And then I'd say it's not a spoiler if it's obvious.

Kill La Kill and Symbiote cover practically all of my wants when properly combined. There are a couple nice quality-of-life things elsewhere and locations I'd like to visit, but once I hit both those jumps I considered my chain successful regardless of its outcome.

They get Solar charms up to Essence 3, but cannot learn perfect defenses or Charms that grant persistent scene-long defenses. And also no Celestial Martial Arts or Sapphire Circle Sorcery.

And they have a /lot/ less essence, even less than the other god-blooded. So they can't use much of that.

So, pretty nice, but also pretty squishy.

No. There's already something that happens to Half-Castes if they get too strong. Like any other mortal or semi-mortal being (such as God-Blooded), going over Essence 3 causes them to ascend to become spirits, though Half-Castes retain some trace of their parent's Essence in their new form. So a Solar Half-Caste would become a lesser sun god, nowhere near the Unconquered Sun's power but with a similar purview. They'd probably be welcomed into the ranks of the lumina, the "angels" that the Unconquered Sun makes out of the souls of the righteous dead that he's ascended to godhood.

Well, you don't get any more Exalted charms (at least, from that source of Exalted stuff, other jumps can provide it, I'd assume). That's the downside. Gods can raise their Essence through training, but it's very hard. Cults make the process easier, as well as provide them with increased Essence regeneration. They don't need them for that, though, like most supernatural beings they respire Essence naturally.

Not really, aside from the afore-mentioned 'no more Solar charms' thing.

You get immortality, loads of essence, don't suffer from disease, don't need to eat or breathe, immaterial when you don't want to materialize, and Spirit charms.

So, not bad. Especially not for a Mortal.

All your durability and other perks should apply to it. Hell, it'd be tougher because it started with a better base.

It's only a weakspot if you don't have any other sources of durability (in that you have a nice and shiny spot to focus on, even if boils down to the same as someone going for your head or center of mass), and even then, Gem gems are pretty damn strong.

You can get run clean through and then you regenerate like nothing happened if your gem is preserved, and you can shapeshift. You don't need to breathe underwater (If you're a gem) or in space, and other things.

Keep in mind, Jasper survived getting the shit kicked out of her, getting thrown into a reactor and suffering the following explosion as well as the ship she was in falling from orbit, crash landing, and then exploding, and seemed to suffer only enough damage to cause her to stumble a bit.
