Drag a box around all the 1.5 stuff, right click one of them, and choose save to chest.

Then load up the main mod and go to Objects, Chest, Saved Objects, and drag the thing you saved on to the table somewhere.

I don't know if this is the place to post this but is KDM worth getting? I'm considering getting the core box but after seeing it only comes with like 6 enemies I'm wondering how much there can really be.

Each monster has 3 different levels of difficulty that vastly change their tactics and how you will need to approach them. You also need to consider that the showdown is only 1/3rd of the game, with settlement managment and the act of hunting each taking the other 2/3rds. Also, due to the game's difficulty, odds are your first campaign will end in failure early on.

You will see a lot of lvl 1 lions over the course of a campaign, but there are many ways that you can approach the fight that help vary the experience. I've been playing solo on TTS and I've clocked about 42 hours without completing a campaign past LY 10 ( a couple of failed settlements unfortunately).

So can someone tell me if I'm doing this right? I BELIEVE that Light/Heavy/Severe Injuries absorb all the damage of the attack, and don't have "spillover", but I can't find where I first read that.

So, for example, if someone has 1 waist armor, and takes 3 attacks that are 3 damage each to the waist, the results would be:

>Attack 2: Fill in heavy injury box and get knocked down
>Attack 3: Make a single roll on the severe injury table

Light, heavy, and severe can all be triggered by the same attack, but each hit can do only one severe. If you're already at heavy injury all over there's no difference between damage 1 and damage 10

On the Zanbato specifically, yes. In the Dung beetle expansion, you can 'farm' equipment by burying it and digging it up a few years later. If you do everything right, the resulting weapon comes out stronger. The Zanbato loses frail.

Most weapons cant be buried, though.

No, The starter lion does 1 damage. That only ticks 1 box and everything but head has a light damage box (Which does not knock down) to give. It usually takes more than one swing, but you roll Hit Locations separately so it's more likely to light damage two locations than put heavy on one.

So how would you guys go about setting up monster V monster fights? I've ben moderately curious to try this out as a random, retarded thing. I figure doubling the damage of attacks, or adding monster level to attack damage would be a half decent way to get it started.

I was starting to try to noodle it out, but it would take a TON of ad-hoc decision making for what survivor-victimizing mechanics (like Bleed) do. Is it Devastating? And then there are 'logical' things like, say, the Flower Knight having offensive luck (say, his SFA's +4 with swords) that you'd have to either ad hoc or ignore. And then Monsters have no decided mechanism for interacting with the world (Other than Lion God's heft)... Do Gates count as threats? Or do the other monsters ignore them and let Tyrant fire his moods like nobody's business. How about, say, Flower Knight's exterminate? Does it stop when he gets a wound? Critical wound? Never?

Long story short, it would be a mess the game's not well designed to handle. Stat them in your RPG of choice and let 'em go at it.

I'm pretty sure I would have the funds by the end of the Kickstarter, but I'm not sure I'll have the funds plus rent, plus phone. plus food, etc etc.

Also there's the fact that, while I'm into playing this game, I don't know a lot of people who would also be into it, because it's pretty complex. I also feel like with how fetish-tier some of the models are, I feel like friends and family who see I own those will be kind of like "That's too bad" and just kind of give up on me for good. The Satan pledge, for me, is a pretty big investment, and this is not what I want my life to be about.

I ended up going for the addon pledge to get some of the stuff I want, like most of the Gambler's chest has cool minis, and there's stuff like Dragon King Expansion, Black Knight Expansion, First Hero, and Red Witch with models I'd like. So i'm still throwing down like $300 for a bunch of models, and that's cool, because it's mainly just cool shit and not pinups I have to explain if one of my friends or family happens to stumble upon it.

There is also a forest bordering (or maybe within?) the plane of stone faces called the Abyssal Woods, and at its center there is a miniature black hole that flickers in and out of existence. This is the home of the Flower Witch and her Diciples, as well as the Flower Knight.

The new expansions take place in the Inverted Mountain, a massive plateau with a very narrow base. Blood flows from the top of it down the sides into the swampland below. It is very likely that below that swamp is a network of caves where the ring tailed fox lives.

It's not clear if the Knowledge Worm is what caused the corruption of the Silver Coty, or the "god" of Kingdom Death, the Golden Entity. What we do know is that the Entity basically created humans as a pathetic mass produced version of itself, which can then have its divine will forced onto them at birth, so all humans follow the entities will at an instinctual level. They still have free will, but nearly any decision they make furthers the goals of the entity. There are various subsets of humans:

The Great City is lead by the great game hunters. The city is filled with people who have become "biological cogs in the machine of the city" and it's not clear if that is literal or figurative. In the great cities, free will is a privilege, not a right, and it is reserved for the upper class. Their armies are lead by the Kings, giant FUCKING MECHS made out of dozens of soulless human husks controlled by a single bestial will. They are guarded by the Kingsmen, a group of Knights controlled by a curse to follow a King as it's foot soldiers. If a human kills a Kingsmen, the curse transfers over to them, so the number of Kingsmen remains mostly constant.

Twilight Knights are ancient record keepers who may be the only ones to truely know what happened to cause everything to go down. They are the keepers of ancient knowledge and countless artifacts. These artifacts are sentient and frequently take complete control of the wielded, so Twilight Knights typically are followed by an Archivist to make sure they stay human. Their order was mostly destroyed though, and they are trying to reform.

White Speakers are a group of blood Mages that discovered true-speaking. They tell stories that alter the world around them. However, true-speaking in Kingdom Death isn't controlled by words like most settings, it's controlled by the knowledge of those words. This leads to white speakers frequently exploding into pools of blood, or having epileptic fits.

Two """humans""" of note are The Scribe and The Hand. Both are suspected to be the Entity in human form, or at the very least have a large fraction of its power.

The Hand is nigh-omniscient, using his three eyes to see glimpses of the future and predict his enemies movements. He wanders around with the Kings, examining settlements to see if they are developing "properly". Using all three of his eyes at once however can blind him for a few moments. He also plays up his injuries when testing the survivors of a settlement, and a sufficiently smart survivor can actually see through that and realize they are just being played with. Survivors that actually manage to somewhite kinda injure him will be knighted by him. Few survive this. The Hand was also the one tasked with training a steed for the Goblin, which is basically this games version of Cthulhu.

The Scribe is the nigh-omnipotent counterpart to The Hand. He has a massive tome into which he writes events, which alters reality to match his writings. One of the events in the game can actually lead to the survivors finding a copy of the scribes book, which they can write in. This can result in them either growing stronger, or erasing themselves from existence entirely with no one ever even remembering them.

Lastly are the Survivors who might not actually count as human The first event in the prologue has the survivors waking up as full grown adults with no memory, or even spoken language, with ink encrusted eyes. This leads many to believe they aren't "actual" humans, and were written into existence by the Scribe mere seconds before the prologue starts. This has not been official confirmed in any way though. We don't know for certain WHY the survivors exist, but it's likely as part of a pact from the golden entity to various monsters that follow it, like the Watcher, Sunstalker, and Dragon King.

Plus, to point out, the first shield you can make is great in just play strategy. + armor all places and blocking. The first play through my group had found F&T, luck bonuses, and shields to be great... SotF, a trap that would kill us eventually. It did too.
