This as to be the biggest bait ever.
I guess pic is realated.

Order already got 5 FUCKING BATLLETOME!
Also i guess sylvaneth are TOTALLY NOT! Elves now.

Point me the new AOS models for death please ?

>More spoiled than dwarf players (they already got releases)?
ITS THE SAME FUCKING ALLEGIANCE.
Also they just created a new dwarf army were NONE of the model you ever bought are used.
That like if they fucking shit a battletome SEA ELVES that disappeared 20 years ago and everyone is like -"lol you got a release what are you complaining about

>Elves have been no where to be seen in tournaments. They have won zero, placed high in zero tournaments. (if you can find a counter example please show me).
So now i need to find results online for 20 years of gaming and 4 editions all around the world (i presume) or it will be nothing else but "a local meta thing" ?

This as to be bait. Or you are 14.

In late 8th Dark elves were consistently top8 because of all the reroll everywhere and anti magic.

Early 8th High elves AND dark elves were tabling everyone thanks to pendant great banner faggot and Lion Hordes

in 7th they were the brokenest just after demon

In 6th ALL THREE ELVES were consistently scoring high.

In 5th AKA ELF HEROHAMMER, Wood and high elves stomped everything

In 1992 in 4th edition They were already so widespread they got into the starter. Simplified the statline made elves OP (lol best movement, best shooting and best magic in the game lolol while being tied for best melee and best monster)
Introducing a card-based magic system the new formula for determining point values of units made them absolutely undercosted for what they were.

Im really sorry that THIS YEAR they aren't top3 like they were in the past 25.
Alternatively the game is also composed of 12 other former armies and now 4 great allegiance divided in more or less 100 faction (15! of which are elves)

Dear /aosg/ bros,
What should my next army be? I've got some Christmas money coming in, and I want to find a good use for it.

I currently have Bloodbound and Slaanesh daemons. I've been eyeing other grand alliances, but I don't know what to start first.

Order: I'm interested in Wanderers/Wood Elves and have been for some time. I never played WHFB, but I would have picked them if I had started a few years ago.

Destruction: Ironjawz. Never was a huge orc fan but these guys are cool. I'm also curious if they play nice with bonesplittaz. IIRC, ironjawz don't have they're own benefits and traits and shit in their battle tome right? Would possibly adding some bonesplittaz in the future cause me problems?

Death: Bone Zone. The appeal of this is pretty self explanatory. Also I think the morghast models are badass.

What should I get first dudes? Odds are good I'll probably start all of them eventually.

Secondary options are to wait for rumored new elf stuff to see if I like it better, wait for new Slaanesh (maybe forever), or just buy something totally different.
>>
>>50773984

Destruction is the only real and non edgy faction of the settings.
They also have the best monster diversity thanks to FW and can counter anything.
All the big monsters are viable and strong, Giants are cool and the global aesthetic is truly great.
I use my moonclan a lot with monstrous arcanum reinforcement. Basically all destruction army are really strong, and you have monsters spiders that looks so great.

Death well.. only have FEC fleshed out right now, and there wont be another battletome before at least 5 elves battletome judging by the last 10 AoS generals.
If you like them its cool tho.
They are great because re-spawning isn't MAGIC, its just a passive ability.
Morghast super cool and i field the ones with 5 attacks a LOT given how much more useful they are now compared to WHFB.

really depend on what you'll like to paint the most between green and white i guess.
>>
>>50774132
Elves being strong in the span of the last 25 years isn't an opinions tho.

But in all seriousness I'd say wait. Who knows, maybe in the summer there will be some new AoS releases. It'd be a shame for you to start a new army just to see something you like release and then have no money for it.

>Order: I'm interested in Wanderers/Wood Elves and have been for some time. I never played WHFB, but I would have picked them if I had started a few years ago.
i'm interested in Elves myself but i would wait for some type of battletome or anything that would sum up at least one race nicely.
Ironjawz are very strong but their movement is incredibly slow. You can boost them with usage of surprise charges and stuff though. They have some mechanics for that
>Death: Bone Zone. The appeal of this is pretty self explanatory. Also I think the morghast models are badass.
I didn't think about anything from Death, at least yet.

Myself i would ask you if it would be better to get Khorne Bloodbound or just go Slaves to Darkness and make them into whatever i want?

Alternatively take the FW keeper of secret since he isn't that expensive, and you'll be able to use it in bigger game as the exalted version.
You just need that and a chariot, really.
Or you could take a mounted Slaanesh Mortal hero and some Slaanesh marked chaos knight.

I'm planning on going to a tournament which rulled all spells, artifacts, and abilities to be randomly rolled. I was planning on just bringing a generic 1k Kunnin' Rukk list, but randomly rolling has made me humor going general Destruction and swapping out my Wargogg Prophet and Weirdnob Shaman for something else.

What do you think, /tg/? I'm not going to have much use out of them if I roll shitty spells. Should I just pack an extra 20 archers? Try to squeeze in some sort of hammer unit for when the archers turn into an anvil? Take 2 squads of Big Stabbas? I've been pretty underwhelmed by boar boys in the past, but I guess I could pack 2 squads of those.

The core I'm running boils down to:
Kunnin' Rukk
Savage Big Boss
10 Savage Orks
10 Savage Orks
40 Arrow Boys

TLDR: 240 points left what do
>>
>>50776335
>40 Arrow boys

>>50776370

>40 Shoota Boyz
in a few years, after GW make end times and age of emperor in 40k.
>>
>>50776370

After reviewing my options, I'm thinking of taking an Ork Warboss on Wyvern or some Mangler Squigs just to split my enemy's focus. Only issue is finding the Wyvern Boss model.
>>
>>50776335

There is only so much fun to be had in a competitive setting. I plan to have all of it.

Trust me when I say the Arrowboys never leave the case at the FLGS. There's no joy to be had in rolling 300+ dice a game at 1k points.

The Lord on Daemonic Steed can work. He can always cast the command ability on himself and he trigger the loci of the Daemonettes because he has the Daemon Keyword.

It does not replace a KoS, but he works well in smaller games.

my 400 zombies are kings of war zombie.
superior in gw ones in everyway and i got the lot during a wayland sale for like 120€.
400 zombies for 120€.
played them a lot in whfb 8th and i never saw someone desagreeing their superiority compared to GWs.
Most Vampire count players asked what it was the first time i bring them and they basically all ended up ordering from that same sale batch.
GWs have no saying in our tournament scene and most GW store dont even accept games anymore due to lack of tables.
so its not a problem for us.
Most of our terrain comes from Tabletop World. Also tremendously superior to GW's offering.

A slow melee army cannot do well in competitive AOS.

You have almost no ability to focus fire key units (stegadon bow is good but not enough by itself) and your opponent can easily outmaneuver you, or position defensive units in your charge path and then cripple you with a riposte.

You have low rend across the board aside from the Stegadon, and it will get poked down before it gets to melee so it will usually be at Rend-2. Combined with the lack of mortal wounds you will struggle to deal with high saves.

You don't need to force a Bloodclaw Starhost, the bonuses aren't that good and you are spending too many points on Warriors. Swap the 40 warriors to 15 knights or 10 guard + 5 knights, swap one of the Carnosaurs for a Bastiladon (gives you a powerful ranged attack and an anchor to build a defensive line) then bring a Skink Priest and Skink Starseer for support.

If those are the models you have then it's not a bad list.
>>
>>50778058
they gave some crazy deals a couple years back. just wait for christmas each time.
Also saved 480€ by buying Kings zombiew instead of GW. even if i only ever used 200 tops in huge games after so many turn of nehek.
Thats a lot of tabletop world scenery for 480 with christmas deals (basically all you will ever realistically need and more)

the other 200 fill the diorama at home and the shelf. Given the price i wont complain.

I only have what comes in the sc box, the carnosaur is magnetized so it can be whatever. My plan was to buy another sc box and a bastiladon to keep costs somewhat down, as two carnosaurs seem quite good. But like I mentioned before , I'm having slot of trouble building a decent list, everything costs slot of points and seemed to need quite a chunk of support

Even 40k barely has players around here. I don't understand if I am honest. The city I live in has a million people, but none of them like plastic army men?

3 Tenebrael Shard Leader 360 points
2 units of 10 Darkshards Battleline 200
1 unit of 10 Executioners 200 points
1 Cauldron of Blood Leader Behemoth 220 points
3 units of 10 Witch Aelves 420 points
1 Exiled Blood Cult formation 80 points
total points: 1480

The highlights about this list is that it is very good at dishing mortal wounds. The three units of Witch Aelves and the Executioners will generate a mortal wound on a to wound roll of 6.
The Executioners already do 2 mortal wounds on to hit rolls of 6.

The cauldron of blood command ability grants one unit the ability to pile in and attack twice in the combat phase. The Cauldron of blood also grants a +1 to wound bonus to one unit per turn providing nice synergy with the mortal wounds on 6+ to wound.

The battleline tax is darkshards who will screen the flanks and try to be available to sit on objectives while they shoot.

The Tenebrael Shards teleport during the hero phase to any location on the board within 3 inches of any enemy model and if they kill any model can immediately make a move of 8 inches when their attacks are resolved. They aren't the best at killing high armor save targets but they can do the job of back line harassment and enemy movement blocking very well.

The general strategy is to use the teleporting assassins to lock down the enemy high value targets and pick off priority enemy characters / war machines. The Cauldron of Blood, witch elves and executioners deploy and move very aggressively up the field (probably getting turn 1 due to 5 of the units deploying as a formation). Lots of choppy choppy and mortal wounds later everything should be dead or on the run.

well the only problem is that you lack movement and magic.
Obviously the list try to dominate close combat. the problem is that youll only dominate what your enemy feed you.

You have no fast unit which mean 2 weakness :
A fast army could choose all the fight during all the game, and the other guy isnt dumb enough to not combocharge or throz unit into your buff bubble. He will only pick fight he win 100% then you will be behind at least 200 points.

No fast unit also mean youll loose to anything that shoot half seriously, i mean you could try to outshoot them with your 20 Shard, but a simple 5 "anything" mounted unit will ravage you shards for a fraction of the point.

i get what you are trying to do, and the strong theme, but you need to ass something that move at least 10" to deal with threats you can answer.

Your worst matchup will probably be Beastclaw. he has the speed to crush each quarter of your army one by one with half its force and you can literraly do nothing about it. It can also just turn1 shot off the table your cauldron.
All its unit will hit harder and stronger tham your but you will outnumber him.

second worst will be 40 arrowboys killing of on average 4 units of your in 2 turn with only 400 points of his own army.

slightly defavorable matchup would be any other shooty army or things that teleport like extremis.

youll probably crush every other footslogging army tho, unless they have artillery or fast unit you cannot deal with.

Cool theme tho.

set up a couple desk lamps just out of frame to cover the model in intense light from every direction. Do that then take your pictures, promise it will make a huge difference.

>>
>>50780779
Well I for one think it's a cool idea anon. I would keep the shards as well. Removing he warmachine threat is better than relying on a 6+ save.
>>
>>50780984
>No fast unit
you don't think the teleporting assassins are up to the job of keeping things pinned down until the help arrives turn 2? Just asking cause ive tried out the tenebrael shards and they are pretty good at that, being able to appear at the far edge of a unit and minimize their ability to pile in while also preventing them from charging is pretty strong...

idk...

there used to be a game store nearby but they didn't have enough regular customers and had to close down early this year

rpgs seem kind of popular still, but it's like traditional gaming is just kind of going away

the major nearby tg conventions get less and less people each year. One of the smaller ones decided not to run this year due to lack of interest.

>>
So I had this idea for a Slayer model. In my theoretical story, he decided to go looking for ways to die in the Realm of Metal
Unfortunately for him the Realm of Metal likes to transform things, so he actually got turned into a living metal dorf...which is awesome, until he realises he can't die now.

Plan on putting a bunch of dirt and rust/verdigris and dings in his metal skin and shit to make him old and beaten to hell. Cool idea?

Or you could say he went after some tzeentch sorcerer, and it cursed him at its death and gave him the properties of metal.

Now he seeks a heat-death.

but my teleporting assassins... you really don't think they can fill that gap. I deliberately included them there to fill that roll of extreme mobility harass and movement disruption...

I wish there could be less speed and shooting. If I wanted 12" + 3d6" movement with rerollable 2+ saves, and rerollable 2+/2+ 24" range shooting I would play that other GW game
>>
>>50781200
That gives me the mental image of a half-melting Slayer just going "FINALLY!" I like it.

I also was contemplating an army of Chaos Dwarfs or Fyreslayers and make em look like they're on fire internally, black/grey on outside. Sorta Balrog-y. That probably won't be for a while though.

>>
>>50781240
>You mean your 5+ save 5 wound heroes with a bad melee profile? Huge waste of 360 points.

but are they? they don't need to kill whole units alone they just need to be in the right place to prevent enemy movement and charges for a turn or two at most. or they can kill create a back line threat to characters/warmachines that will force the opponent to either split their offense between dealing with the threats on two fronts or conceding the backfield and loseing those warmachines/characters...

seems really good in my head.
>>
>>50781217

>>
>>50781321
Throwing your points into the enemy army for no reason is not a good strategy.

Unless you're playing against total morons, your opponent will deploy a screen around their units vulnerable to the shard. After your shards are dead they'll spend two turns shooting your slow ass army in the middle of the field before you get a chance to engage and you'll probably lose more to Battleshock.

It seems good in your head but try playing against somebody with a brain in theirs.
>>
>>50781321

they have chariots, knights, wizards, and large flying monsters

bloodbound just move forward and hope they dont get shot down before they get to melee
>>
>>50781708
if you aren't using chariots, knights, and manticores you shouldn't bother right?
>>
>>50781772
Marauders, chaos warriors, and chosen are good units. A list that only contains these units is bad.

The Khorne Bloodbound have lots of good units but their faction is bad because it only has a single niche that is easily countered.

Most of their key units are too slow so you either run a list full of Skullcrushers or your Skullcrushers have to hang back and wait for the rest of your army to catch up. They have no shooting or magic so they can't focus fire key units or clear screens before a charge, which means your opponent completely dictates your charges.

Their melee is average at best, which doesn't make any sense given that all their weaknesses should lead them to having an exceptional combat phase.
>>
So I was contemplating a themed dwarf list along the lines of 'everything appears after set up' to negate some of the dwarfs being slow moving melee armies everyone keeps talking about.

1 Warden King 120 points
1 Josef Bugman 100 points
2 units of 10 Miners 240 points
1 unit of 20 Quarrellers 240 points
1 unit of 10 Quarrellers 120 points

I'd say run Grombrindal for the last 180 but he technically has no points value, we've just run him as 'whatever you agree on' at my FLGS. Runelord and Grimm Burloksson?
>>
>>50781909
I'm an idiot and forgot about Battleline. I guess...switch the small unit of quarrellers to Warriors, and add Grimm and another 10 Warriors? And scrap Runelord?

I am on the fence between AoS and 40k. I watched a lot of battle reports in the past few days, but the AoS ones I've seen are just two morons pushing fuckpacks into one another and rolling melee from thereon out.

Is there more depth to AoS than these games would belie, or is it just really that simplistic? Not saying 40k is a masterwork of complexity, but at least there are some more options it seems that come up (like the Psyker phase)
>>
>>50783899
AoS can be very fun if you actaully have a brain, since there's no way to really bubblewrap ICs/Heroes, not to mention the random turn order.
MWG and Frontline do good AoS reports (and even the GW first AoS "tourney" was actaully good too)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeP1lG7RHkQ

All i can say is that 40k will have more technicality to it, but that's because AoS was meant to get newbies into wargaming - Wait to 8th ed 40k for more

As dark times return to the Mortal Realms, Sigmar beseeches the goddess Alarielle to heed a tale of those better years, one he hopes will restore not only her faith but the faith of all noble creatures. Heed then the saga of the mage Bayla who seeks the Realms' End, a mythic place believed to hold a great secret. Beseeching the aid of wise Teclis and dread Nagash, Bayla's desire for knowledge and the fulfilment of his quest blinds him to the danger in his midst, one that could imperil his very soul.

Grand Alliance books just have warscrolls which you can get for free, and some battalions (but none for Slaanesh daemons).

The only essential book for AoS is the General's Handbook. Which can be found in the OP if you don't want to buy it.

For Slaanesh? Nothing. Download the pdf or use the app and you'll be alright. Do not use the compendium though. Daemonettes have some slightly different rules. You can use the Daemon Cohort from the Compendium though.

It's nice if you like to have your rules printed. Otherwise, just use the app or print the few pdf you need.

So a few friends have convinced me to give this game a shot, so planning to grab a start collecting box, maybe something else if its needed to play a few small games to see how I feel about it. Planning to go with Stormcast Eternals.

I don't actually have any idea how AoS is played so I'm not quite sure I would know the difference between playstyles simply by looking at stats. Are they tanky beasticks? Jacks of all trade? You mean most 4channers? Like 80% of the people and community I know/watch (normiebook, forums, local store) all fucking have stormcast eternals as their main or pocket army.

They're powerful in that they have decent stats and synergy out of the boxes usually. They're tanky all-rounders. Once you go up against specialized stuff or range cheese you'll get cracked.

A unit can be 10,20,30, or 40 clan rats. It costs 60 points per 10.

So say you have 30 clan rats, that'd cost 180 points, and you can make 3 units of 10, one unit of 30 or one unit of 10 and one unit of 20.

10 man Grave Guard or 5 Hexwraiths?
>>
>>50788013
Do you already have a solid battle line to hold their melee or no? If you already have clogging melee like skeles or a strong battle line go hex. If you need a more powerful line/flank wrapper I'd go grave
>>
>>50788087
My proposed list is here >>50785549
>>
>>50788102
Hmmm hard to say. Skeletons while good at clogging have a chance of getting torn through if enemy have artillery or
something that can do fat wounds. Also you already have 5 hex. I'd say if you're against someone without strong battle lines take hex. If it's going to turn into a grindmill, go crypt.

a) bigger Tzaangors riding Disks
b) some kind of Bray-sorceror
c) The same bigger Tzaangor's on the ground with bows

It's as indestructible as the plot requires. i don't think it regens until they die and return to sigmar in a flash of lightning.
>>
>>50788430
There was that one storm cast who had his helmet stolen and went through some lengths to get it back.

My headcanon tells me their armor is special in some way and they don't just replace it, but that each chamber might look different. Maybe one chamber prefers a worn look to their armor as it shows that they don't shy away from battle? They "wear" their battles with pride, or something like that
>>
>>50788486
>>50788430
Stormcast are not metal men, however, their Arms and Armour is forged from bits of Malus, the old world, and is incredibly strong, probably the strongest metal bar Chaos-bound or Urgold shit.

The value of it is sentimental, Stormcast wear helms fashioned to look like Sigmar, and each one carries Armour and weapons forged from Sigmar's most Cherished object.

It's a finite resource.
>>
>>50785549
You have arhan you should remove hexwraith and spirit host amd jus summon them where you want.
Alternatively you can add a mourngul instead of them. you have a nice battleline already. The spirit host are only used as bttleline for nightgaunt have have an army with smaller footprint, not as a thing to kill.
What im trying to say is that they fill the same roles as your Spooky Skellingtons.
Hexwraith are really strong if you dont make too much mistake with them

>>50788571
Well, Swifthawk Agents are probably the most complete elven faction as of a few days ago. Two heroes, three battle-line units and a selection of nice support, plus a way to include archmages and swordmasters without breaking allegiance.

>>50788571
the key to playing elves in age of sigmar at this time is to cherry pick the best units to synergize from the full range of original three flavors (high, dark, wood).

The new "factions" that you see the elves broken into are a trap. If you try to make an army exclusively of any of them it will be a sad horrible mess without a chance of being any good.

>Well, Swifthawk Agents seem fairly solid now that they have some selection. I think an army from that selection would fare reasonably well.Agreed on the rest, though.

look at that army objectively though...

the griffon rider is not that hot. costs a lot of points for a meh stat line and paper defense. the pile in gimic on it is nice if you only use him to harass and pick off weak targets but in a strait fight he will lose every time to most leader behemoths.

The archmage is just bad. his spell is pretty useless and he too costs a lot of points.

The seaguard are (even at 120 points) very limp noodle with poor armor saves and very lackluster damage.

The cavalry are fast and that's about all they have going. They cant win a strait fight with anything and their shooting will be an annoyance at best to any opponent.

The whole thing is at best a 4/10 for overall strength.

It is fluffy so for fluffy casual games it looks great! if that's all you want from it, and there is nothing wrong with that, then that force is for you :)

How do factions work in this game? You have the four alliences, so are those the factions made up of subfactions? Or are those simply categorizations of the factions? Is there any reason I would bring only Fyreslayers or only Stormcast Eternals, or is it simply a narrative/fluff reasons you wouldn't mix and match all the tiny factions together?
>>

in matched play (the kind where you use points) you are limited to picking your army from one of the grand alliance factions (order, death, destruction, chaos).

Those 4 are further broken into smaller sub factions that may or may not provide additional benefits if you select your army entirely from within one of them.

>does glue do fine adhesing to painted stuff? Literally my first set of models. Should I paint the gorebeast seperate too I assume? then just connect everything via chain and shit

I learned the hard way that fully assembling models before painting them is a huge mistake almost every time.

The problem you run into is that you'll be fighting your brushes and lamps to try and reach and see under, between, inside, the back portion of the rear of everything and it'll drive you nuts and take forever and never be as good as you want it to be.

Even single models are this way too and its usually better to leave off the arms until the torso is painted.

As for gluing it all together after its painted that's never a problem. Worst case you have to add a little paint here or there to clean up the joints.

I'm not sure I'd agree on your assessment.
- As you said, Reavers are fast and can pour out a lot of shots. For a unit that will probably never be engaged that's nice enough.
- The Archmage's Elemental Shield affects quite a lot of models and allows to reinforce your Spireguard anchor quite well. He really costs a lot, though.
- While the High Warden is probably only useful as an assassin and harasser, the Skywarden is buff central (especially with Reckless) and can support both an aggressive strike force or a defensive line.
Even Shadow Warriors and Spire Guard are flexible and competent enough to be relied upon.

Wat.

Even the Dread Saurian can't beat that. You'd need to get it to a 2+ and then hope all your attacks hit. If you don't kill it in one go, the Bloodthirster will kill the Dread Saurian in next phase due to 3+/2+ -2 D3.

Not that you'd let it be charged. You'd just fly the Bloodthirster away and spam Lash on it.

>>
>>50790710
Saurus Warriors with HW are OK. They're not the best, but they're OK. They're out-damaged and are weaker save than Empire Swordsmen and Dryads and shit. Though they 'make up' for this with ignoring -1 Rend and having 10 Bravery. They're still easily dealt with, though, since lots of armies can spam Mortal Wounds forever and lots of armies have models which heal (Nurgle, Skaven and so on) every turn.

Knights are shit, really, don't bother. Their 'Lances' are 1", despite every other Lance in game being 2". The bonus for using Lances relies on D6 luck and that's really shit. Their hand weapons aren't much better. They're not fast enough. They went from one of the best armoured cavalry in WHFB to one of the worst. If you want cavalry, stick with Terradons or Ripperdactyls. Even though the latter are nerfed really hard by Rule of 1, they're still good artillery and range user killers.

According to 1d4chan:

"A pretty easy strategy is going 30 archers, tossing them in a kunnin rukk and just let them shoot with the big bosses' command ability and bellowing tyrant on them."

Basically 3 shots each, kunnin rukk lets them shoot in the hero phase, Boss gives extra attacks on hits of 6+. I think there's a destruction allegiance ability that gives everyone +1 to hit too.

tl;dr too much dakka
>>
>>50791594
Huh. So... If they have the allegiance ability, they're 3+/4+? Not too bad. But seeing as you can make shit like Saurus Guard 2+ it's not that good.

I guess the reason is cause they're cheap and you can spam them.

Bows are a solid all-round choice, given the stormcast the ability to reach across the table which they can otherwise lack. Crossbows really need you to set up your army to make best use of them, so if you're not sure, they're probably not the right choice.

Put the special bow on the prime whichever option you go for, however.

Stormfiend deep strike wipes your unit on the first turn
Stormcast deep strike wipes your unit on the first turn
Nurgle battalion that gives you -2 to hit in shooting phase
Chaos command trait that reduces your hit roll by 1 on the first turn. (Second turn you get charged and die)
Tzeentch Slaves to Darkness giving chaos warriors a 2+ save that rerolls 1

Please. The tax is 520 point and for that you get a whopping 16 models split in 3 group of 5 + a warden.
And thats not taking into account the 300 point Bastilladon.

Windlaunchers won't do as much damage as the other two shooting options BUT they don't need line of sight and they have a slightly longer range. That extra range can be the difference between getting shots off and not shooting at all, and Rend-2 D3 damage is quite powerful (even if 4+/4+ is hot garbage).

Windlaunchers let you hit enemies that try to hide behind walls, or behind screens of other units. They are situationally useful.

Ratling Cannons are great at killing low armor save screens.
Warpfire Projectors are great at killing high armor targets and focus firing behemoths.
Windlaunchers are great for sniping wizards or other low wound heroes.

Which is why you take mortar teams if you need them, keep your stormfiends useful.

No you don't understand, the stormcast eternal models are huge. These are going to be tiny. They are going to look like fucking halflings alongside prosecutors, and the the wings would look comically large on them.

I know you are wanting femcasts really bad, but really only st celestine would be anywhere near close enough to fit in with even just regular prosecutors.

Let alone a celestant-prime, which would be really weird looking.

What do you guys think of my saurus knight conversion/kitbash? First attempt at one so I know the green stuff work is sloppy and I'm not skilled enough to sculpt scales, but I think they came out decent enough

Also made a skink priest with boys from the troglodon
