Quite the hefty scheduled, but I got Memory of the Ancestors and barely need to sleep.
Taking meditation right assures that I get access to the memories of my ancestors right away, and the spa helps with meditation and allows me to grow herbs.
After year 3 I'll have most of what I need; I'll start growing and manipulating plants with various magical effects and selling them for a profit to students while establishing contacts.
Lots of students will want performance enhancing treatments both in terms of studying and debauchery, so the dosh will roll in.
Changing the biology of animals and student is also an option; some may even pay to be guinea pigs... the students that is don't think actual guinea pigs got all that much money.
Even if I happen to break some rule and get kicked out I got most of the magic I need and plenty of business partners.

I started this cyoa as a joke but before I knew it I felt very eager to make it look good so I put a lot of work into the design elements. I hope the font is legible and isn't too much of a pain to read. All the art comes from pixiv artist Nakamura Regura 中村レグラ who is a fucking godly artist and makes absolutely olev doujins featuring plenty of insect and monstergirls in general. I recommend him to all monstergirl lovers.

My only major issue is that I have 0 idea of what she does. I get that she wants it vague and that's the point, but a little hint at what her occupation is would be warranted. Maybe the hint could be the general category to which it falls in, without hinting at what she does that's illegal about it like "I work with computer systems."

That's it from me, really. If you as the author aren't fond of her character, then the thing to do is slip in some vulnerability on her part. Something dumb she likes, some insecurity she has, anything that might be 'cute' without reducing her overall confidence or competence. Don't ever make her seem like she's weak, since that goes against what the idea seems to be to me.

My pleasure, I'll start with island since it's my brainchild and I lovingly spent a week writing on it as if it were my magical realm.

I'm really not that good. As far as software experience goes I only started using gimp last week and have only been able to make progress thanks to the kindness of those who make tutorials and because I love using guidelines religiously to keep everything clean and because I have the patience to scroll through 100 pages of work on gelbooru and artstation to hunt for that one particular image I truly wanted. As you can see from the Island survival cyoa this was the first time I learned how to make rounded rectangles and I used my newfound knowledge to its greatest extent to make everything round as fuck.

As far as writing experience goes. A few years back I was a semi-reputable cyoa story writer for the monstergirl generals that spawned on /a/ and eventually were exiled to /jp/. For me those were the halycon days where I could sit down and pump out dozens of pages of material in a few hours. Most of it was irredeemable waifu trash but I loved being able to connect with a community and it's part of the reason I like CYOAs so much in general.

Ordion anon, for example, uses D&D-style statistics but they don't add very much to his CYOAs That one viking one, (Time of Troubles?) on the other hand, has statists fitted exactly to the adventure and it's a very good one

This even applies to Lewd CYOAs. Slut Life has lots and lots of choices, and just enough description to make it work. Lavender is very similar, but its rich descriptions (though they can get a little wordy) help build the world, and it has three statistics on top of its budget engaging the optimization instincts that most people on /tg/ have, which, imho, make it a better CYOA.

I don't try to focus on any particular kind of waifu. I just write what I find appealing and work my way from there. I couldn't tell you if I'll never do a normal waifu cyoa because I don't exactly understand what a normal waifu cyoa would be about. Though to be honest if I ever do feel like doing a normal waifu cyoa it would probably be included as a side dish to whatever topic the CYOA is mainly discussing.
