So I have an adversary in 40k roleplay who's a daemon possessing a huge swarm of cockroaches (huge enough to cover entire Hive when spread out thinly). So far I'm representing him mechanically as a huge Horde with low physical stats, and he fights by crawling his roaches inside people (expending his Horde size) and suffocating them or eating them from within, so armor and huge HP pools are useless, and most weapons don't do anything but ship damage killing only few roaches. Team Mechanicum guy with +20 Tailor made sealed hazmat suits for all players after the first encounter, and I couldn't stop him. Thankfully no one have Chemist to brew some insecticide. Need ideas how to make my supervilain threatening again.

They are roaches. Have them degrade the suits via consuming the fucking material. Not through acid but the fact they are daemon roaches who eat people inside out so they now eat through the suits suicidally.
You need to give them an out though. Have they not used flamers?

That many roaches and your not getting creative. He has full control over them can override base instincts and the like. gunk up their weapons roaches get everywhere. chew out communication lines, power sources, etc. taunt them with crawling words on walls and hell even their suits. He also probably has enough roach bodies to just crush them under sheer weight. Another fun option is start having the roaches puppet the bodies being eaten maybe even unrecognizable until the players pass a spot check and see a roach crawling in the victims eye.

They did, but demon roaches ended up chewing through hive plumbing and flooding entire Hub with flammable sewer gases when they realized they're screwed. Players ended up badly burned and with sewered eardrums (so now they need -10 Perceptopon tests to just communicate with each other), all roaches in the hub died from explosion. Not the kind of outcome players are willing to repeat.

Well, I do use Roaches to turnt Hive infrastructure against players. Problem is Hive infrastructure only exist in the hive proper, not the Underhive. Demonroaches can still royally fuck players when they go rainding low hive, but there is little they can do to assault their lair in the under
