So, I was interested in getting some AdMech stuff when I first heard they came out a while back, but I was way too broke to be able to get back into 40k. Just today I decided to go check out the GW website again to see what all has happened since I fell out of the hobby and noticed what the picture here shows. Did they split AdMech into two armies? Can I still play them together as one? Do I need both codices now? What am I looking at here?

Skitarii and AdMech are technically two separate codices but work together very well. If you're going to a tournament you need both codices but c'mon, download them

Yep, pretty blatant money grub because the codices are only available in stupidly overpriced hardback. Even the pdfs are expensive, and they are just digital files.

Ad Mech was two armies since release in 40k.

Skitarii start collecting is a great place to start. There are strong hints that they are going to combine the codexes and I am fairly sure a transport option is coming.
