There's a great one in Desu 2 that prevents you from getting piffed.

Shaping defenses from Exalted tend to be star preformers for stuff like that though.
So either be a half raksha in exalted mortals with the proper graces or wait till solars jump and grab the integrity protecting prana charm and never worry about getting reality warped again.
Doesn't help when they start fucking with the world around you though. Be prepared for a game of the floor is lava to take a sudden turn for the real.

Just... I think this may be one you want to add as options, rather than having it be what happens. Give the choice to give a personality (for all except Tsundere, who is suddenly able to take on gods? That's a bit crazy) who was like that to start with.

Ego Guardian Protocol [200sp] – Although the suit can protect the user from most physical hazards, some ills of the mind or illusions that fool the naked eye are not nearly so forgiving. The user may fall victim to post-traumatic stress, or become unable to perform in combat. This is a safeguard. Upon activation or when a particular trigger (programmed by the user) is activated, the armor immediately sends several signals through the user’s nerves that creates an artificial ‘combat high’ and a state of supreme focus, letting them shut out emotional stimuli and focus on the battle at hand. The emotions of fear, joy, and other extremes are temporarily suppressed. It is tailored specifically to your biology to create a similar reaction, though foes who try to reverse-engineer such a process will have better luck threading a needle through concrete. This lasts for only a few minutes at a time, but can be reactivated or toggled at will.

This one is a little unconventional, but I ran out of 200 point ideas for protective systems. Thoughts?

Seriously though, I love the castle's new functions, even if some could argue it starts off too strong. But the Divine Charm is pretty good just because of how much it helps against the primary fail state in the Chain, and the new Tsundachi is the fucking strong. So I don't know.

Either way, I'll probably replace the Bonded Swords/Dandachi with it once I get around to updating my build because of the new stuff, even if having some goddamn company would do wonders for my Jumper's mental state early chain.

Magic, nine times out of ten. Once you fix the anti-magic problem (which you're not likely to encounter anyway), there's a lot less likely to go wrong. Like, there are so many bits and bobs usually required for technology to work properly, and thus it's generally much easier to disable). Magic is often more reliable, because it just /works/. There are two components: the item and the enchantment, and damaging one usually doesn't damage the other.

Of course, then there's this >>50637963 to think about. It's not bad to use both depending on the situation. Magic is used all the time for my and my followers' personal gear, but as you get into a larger scale (i.e. spaceships), it's only used for systems which absolutely should never go wrong, ever.

Yes? Sort of. What the castle does is absorb evil energy and use it to strengthen itself and become more efficient. It can be said that it feeds on evil but what it really does is take the energy and pool it. So it would be sucking evil out of the surrounding environment and accruing it within its own walls, warping and corrupting that area to its intentions depending on how much evil energy it consumes. Most places don't have a whole lot of evil energy just floating around. But if you can find somewhere that does it would have a kind of "cleansing" effect on its surroundings. At least as much as a vacuum has. It's not so much "cleansing" as "extracting and refining."

The cheat items are massively OP items which are given out to Heroes to beat the Demon Lord. A lot of heroes get them, so much so that it's kind of an in-joke in the BBS and they're referred to as "cheat items" because of the fact that they're almost universally overpowered to a ridiculous degree.

They're the McGuffin basically. They're the top tier weapon in an RPG, the legendary weapon that the Hero gets that trivializes the final boss.

Dio. I had Homura's time stop ability, but I was only able to sustain it for a couple of seconds. So the final battle consisted of me and Jotaro trying to fight Dio with our own time stops. We did pretty well, even if Dio still managed to get blood from Grandpa Joseph (I was also a Joestar). In the old chain, [Demon On Wheels]. Poor Jumper would never face a more tenacious and personal opponent up til their death.

Currently? Doctor Doom and Maleficient. I got into a magic fight with Doom, and despite being 41 jumps in and hopped up on outside context and huge magical boosts, he put up a hard enough fight that I had to retreat and try again later. Even then, I couldn't and wouldn't fatally kill him. I actually came to respect the megalomaniac. The feeling wasn't mutual, though - he hated my guts for being able to show him up.

Second was Maleficient. I had managed to kill her in Disney Princess, and her last words were declaring vengeance on me from beyond the grave. Then she showed up in Kingdom Hearts. What followed was a huge magical duel that I actually nearly lost - I had the edge in raw power, but she took advantage of my reluctance to hurt nearby civilians and used a lot of dirty tricks to sucker punch me. I managed to win, but apparently in Kingdom Hearts land, Maleficient just comes back to life from people thinking about her. So my entire ten years was just fighting her and hordes of Heartless.

It's anethema in the sense that it ended their timeless age and gave birth to beings that genocided them, but the fire itself isn't an actor against them. Hell, they're weak to Lightning, not Flame. It can grant wishes if you get all the pieces together, although it's dick level is measured against yours so if you're a greedy asshole it's going to ream you over the coffee table.

If you only have one piece you get a buff for whatever it's aspected for. Power also somehow grants immortality to a degree if twilight princess is anything to go by.

As for stealing it, it's possible. Ganondorf grabs it in it's physical state in OoT except it splits because he's inbalanced from it's virtues of courage, wisdom and power. He had way too much of the last compared to the former so he got stuck with the power piece while the other two went to Link and Zelda.
However he takes all the pieces from the people that have them and forces it to work in Windwaker so it's doable to steal them.

Taking it out of the Zelda universe is a monumentally bad idea since without the Triforce the world will literally die a slow death. If you don't care it would probably still work for you, but you should probably care because it's bad manners not too.
You could just wish for another Triforce if you wanted too, They solve the plot like that in Link Between Worlds

Three golden triangles that together can grant wishes of an unspecific level of power, or can individually empower and individual granting them something. Honestly what the Triforce of Courage does for Link or the Triforce of Wisdom does for Zelda isn't nearly as clear as what the Triforce of Power does for Gannondorf(gives him a lot of power). The Triforce has alternately vanished, or stuck around after granting a wish with no clear rules, other than if you try to use the thing without having a sufficiently strong spirit your soul will break. It was created by the three golden goddesses(who are the gods of creation in zelda) and left in the care of the goddess Hylia in case anything happened that required the power of the golden goddesses to fix(unfortunately the thing can't be used by a god, at least of the same type as Hylia because reasons), and is sort of a thing that holds their place in creation.

It's nifty, you could steal it theoretically, though doing so would put the protagonist and antagonist in most games against you. Honestly though I would suggest just trying to use the empowering effect rather than try and get a wish out of it that may or may not be of a magnitude that you want, and may or may not cause the thing to split up/vanish/fuck off somewhere else.

It's both. It's got a physical golden physical prescence but when it's in you it's a glowy tattoo.
As for limitless manapool I'm pretty sure that's just an approximation since Ganondorf is a very beefy mage and it fits for what Power would do.

Seriously though if you don't go to the right game for this your odds of actually getting the triforce are all over the place.
OoT is probably the easiest since you can just do exactly what Ganondorf did and nick it when nobody is looking.

Physical/spiritual object, the tattoo just connects a person to it. Canonically the first time Link gets the tattoo is before he even has any contact with the Triforce, and happens in Skyward Sword as part of a ritual to obtain an "unbreakable spirit" that was stated as a requirement to use the Triforce without his soul exploding. The tattoo in question then links him to each piece as he collects them later, allowing him to summon them for use. As for where the physical Triforce is after link collects it or as the tattoo, it's not clear if it is actually inside the tattoo, or if it is sitting in the sacred realm, or just somewhere.

Unlike darksouls you don't get free revives in the jump after day 2 so be ready for bullshit.
At least most of the crazy stuff should be going away after the plot is over.
Having insight or an equivalent is highly highly reccomended so you don't get fucked by an invisible thing that should not be.

You'd have two triforces.
... I dunno what else you want from that, it's not like they really double up in any meaningful way or anything. Seems to go that once you get the Triforce, you get a wish, which is not omnipotent (Ganon's wishes for ultimate power/control are usually limited in some way), but is strong enough to bring massive change to a major kingdom-sized area.
I guess you'd get to double that.

As for individual pieces, the Triforce bits don't seem to do anything super interesting, except when Ganondorf calls on his for a powerup. So I guess you'd get twice Ganon's powerup.

Pretty sure when I asked the jumpmaker they said it works for powers, and even forms that seem odd like robots, but given the infection can infect buildings that seems fine. It basically is Final Form but without the powerful raid boss form.

Would companions be able to control megazords without being a ranger? I was just checking out the MMPR jump and noticed that there's only an option to make one other companion a ranger. Well blacklight has to have some kind of spatial compression going on since Mercer can fly with max health.
If that's not good enough for you Los's supplement has an option to control your weight.
You could probably do the same with gravity control from City of Heroes or some other kind of gravity power.
Scrolls of flight in Elona can slash the weight of items and they do work on living weapons so they could concievably work on you.
There's also feather fall and equivalents for making you weigh less or almost nothing.

Young Justice has Required Secondary Powers, and it's free.
It basically handles all the obvious problems with your superpowers, like lifting huge things without sinking into the ground or tearing the object apart.
Then again, I'm not sure if it covers /every/ superpower you have, or just ones from Young Justice.
