Can someone help me out with a noob question about rules? Pic related.

In the part I've outlined in red towards the bottom, I'm blocking the lone Amazon there with the Black Orc. The Amazon is strength 3, where as the Black Orc is strength 4 and he's also getting assists from the 2 Linemen to his right, effectively making it a strength 6 hit against a strength 3 opponent. So why do I not get to roll 3 dice for this? I was under the impression that if you have higher strength, it's 1 extra dice roll and if you have at least double their strength, it's 3 dice.

What am I missing here? Thanks.

It was an error. The biggest difference is you need to declare a pass before moving on fumbbl and tabletop. Cyanide lets you move first then decide if you want to do a pass at the end.

I tried playing this game a few times a while back and I always rage quit because I wasn't patient enough and made stupid mistakes and the AI kicked the shit out of me.

This time around, I'm noticing that the AI is making risky moves like picking up the ball or really stupid dodge attempts as the very first action and forcing a turnover before they even move anybody else.

I need advice guys, because I'm such a fucking scrub noob.

I've only just started playing, and I'm getting my ass kicked every single time. If I kick off, my opponent jumps my team on the first turn and mauls them. If I receive and grab the ball, my opponent jumps my team and still mauls me. I play skaven, so I know I need to dodge out the way and use my speed, but when half my team is KO'd by turn 2, I'm fucked.

A splinter group of the somewhat successful Goblin Revolutionary Committee (G.R.C.), S.A.P.Z. seeks recognition for all that they do for their greenskin brethren (usually summarized as chattering loudly and smearing squig feces on everything.)

They are led by Club President Plink, a bewitched snotling with the IQ of a goblin warboss. Seeing how the world is completely focused on Blood Bowl, he has decreed that the only way to spread S.A.P.Z. message, is to put themselves into the game and into the eyes of the public. They manage this, by usually sabotaging one of the teams that will participate in a nearby game; usually through planting buzzer squigs, itchy mushrooms and retching into the teams Kroxiade barrel.

Thus, when the other team shows up, thinking that they will be facing the Darkside Cowboys, they instead find the field (and stands) teeming with Snotlings! Though, on the whole, this doesn't seem to bother them as this means it's a free win, and a free meal to boot!

And likewise, Plink and his gang of malcontents don't care either way, as they lose themselves in the joy of spreading their message (ie, chattering loudly and smearing squig feces on the pitch.) One cannot say they haven't garnered any notice though, as a fan club has sprung up, seemingly popping out of nowhere to support these teeny tiny underdogs. And even if you don't wear the snot green fan jersey and Snotling shaped hat, everyone can agree that watching these S.A.P.Z. play is a real hoot!

Hypnotic gaze is the greatest tool you have. With it you can straight up disable a player for the rest of your turn. Use it to break cages and similar

Trust the vampires, ag4 s4 will get you out of a lot of jams but always try and keep at least 1 rr left for that one really important play that you can't chance failing bloodlust on

Your playing as skaven? Use linerats to block movement to your important pieces

for example, you've got a blitzer and you want to protect him, move a linerat next to a threatening piece that's on it's own, blitz the piece so that it is pushed or falls so that the linerat is in between the opposing player and the blitzer

Also, if your on the attack and a lot of your players are mid peril, score, as skaven if your holding the ball you can almost always score in the next turn or maybe two no matter where you are on the pitch

Gutter runners score, make sure to spread their spp around for blodge as soon as you can.

In your first game, if you have the opportunity, give a touchdown to each of your blitzers. Once they level, if they take mighty blow, they will quickly rack up spp by just doing their job as they will likely get an injury or 2 per game

If for some reason you have a rogre, it'll beat it's own spp out of enemy linemen. Give it guard to keep your men in t-shirts alive a little longer

Finally, if you take a thrower, and that's optional, make a quick pass or two and have it as a potential mvp. that one level can give hm leader for a 20k rr

On picking skills, generally speaking you want mighty blow, tackle/guard and claw on doubles for your blitzers, gutter runners want blodgestep and sure hands. While it may not seem obvious, gutter runners are pretty amusing if they roll a double for horns. If they do that early, consider wrestle and strip ball for a nearly unstoppable sacker

I honestly think you can get by easy on 3 rr with all the re-rolls you have on standard actions with those players, you may want to consider havng an extra linerat for when one inevitably and messily expires, protect your key players and barring bad luck, you shouldn't need the apo.
