It's full of 5/5 and 0/5 cards without a whole lot in between. You don't have very many token makers, Karametra doesn't really contribute to a token or an elfball (which you're closer to) strategy, and Ambush Commander staples a free Armageddon onto your opponents' wraths. I would scrap it and look at some net decks before trying again.

Should green ramp be used with 3-color decks?

I always feel stupid when my starting hand is something like "plains, mountain, dual WR, rampant growth, X, Y, Z" and I have to consider if it's worth keeping, while an identical hand with a mana rock instead of rampant growth would be guaranteed ramp/colorfix.
Maybe I'm just complaining about the symptoms when the problem is that I don't have enough dual lands?

It depends heavily on what 3 colors you run and in what deck. Hoewever, as a general rule for 3 color decks including G you should aim for G being your base color in lands and your ramp giving you access to the other colors.

Cards like Elves of Deep Shadow or Avacyn's Pilgrim are such candidates. In short it is easier to maintain a G manabase and access the other colors from there on, than the other way round. The WR dual in your case should be a Gx fetchland and the plains and mountain could very well be forests.
I think it is kinda self explanatory, that your imagined hand would have worked with all forests and only one mountain and one plains in your deck.

But take this with caution. As I said it depens on your deck. When I run Leovold for example I don't want to play any dorks or spells at all because I get way more synergies out of a rock package since I am already running Transmute Artifact, Reshape etc..

Depends on what non-land sources you play. I use selective combined land/creature destruction in a reactive way, if a player is fucking everybody over.

Eg that player with a 8.5 tails Voltron with extraplanar lense where nobody really had a chance to get rid of that fucker thanks to pro:white shenanigans.

And this is bullcrap. If you overextend, yes, you will have a hard time to recover. But that is, again, not the fault of LD but your own.
If your whole plan is to ramp into fatties and you end up having an empty hand and an empty board after someone dared to have an answer to your strategy, this is, again, no point against LD.

If your plan is to have a shitload of lands you better expect someone to deal with it. There are plenty of cards that hose LD, just like LD hoses mindless ramping. And this is the very point why the whole "LD is unfun" has to die. It is actually "My naive idea of how to play this game does not work and now I am mad".

Just from a quick look I'd say get yourself a Polluted Delta and cut a Swamp for it. Kahns fetches will neither rise nor fall anymore and are all quite affordable right now.

Same goes for DRS. A body that hits the board early, fixing, ramp - no reason not to include it. I'd cut Reassembling for it. I see the interaction, but this is way too clunky and costly.

From the rolling challenge some threads ago, how does this look? I'm not sure on wincons beside combat damage but that will take forever it seems.

I need your help /edh/.

I'm building a mono black deck and I'm wondering who I should use as a commander. Right now there is a three way tie between undead Sidisi, Lim Dul and Ob Nixilus unshackled. What I want to do is run a creature hate deck. Just throw in as much removal as I can, ramp really really hard, and lay the smack down.

Now, the other half of my question is, do you guys know things in mono black that force shuffles? I can think of ghost quarter as an example, but for my spicy secret sauce I was planning on casting nixilus, and forcing the other player to shuffle a few times to quickly nuke their health.

I'm playing marath, Blue faggot #1 is playing Teferi walker, Blue faggot #2 is playing kami of the cresent moon, and then the last player was playing literally the worst sharuum deck I've ever played.

I song of the dryads Kozilek to lock him down, spend some mana to shoot a few things and then it goes around the board.
I shit ye not...BF1 has nothing, BF2 has nothing. Sharuum player who I'm trying to set the win up for since I now have two players breathing down my neck draws Cyclonic rift and plays it overloaded.

It was between me and the child player pretty much. Surrack was just durdling around. I used to play Braids Conjurer cutie with new plays just to teach them never trust anyone sitting at the table when they offer you a good deal.
It's your standard Braids deck, I made mine with Eldrazi, but I'd play the kingmaker for a few turns and get mostly everyone on my side when I put out Braids. One thing I learned playing that deck, People like free stuff, try to take that away from them and they get angry. So I'd sit there in my little corner with hardly anything on the field, maybe braids and one other small creature. If someone killed Braids I made sure to get the others to mess with the guy that did and like the plotting Viser when it finally rolled around to me I'd drop something rude like "It that betrays", "koz", pretty much anything with with annihilator.

Played a game where guy 1 had a winning board presence, guy 2 had announced he had a wrath, and I had a flying commander that could swing for lethal on guy 2. I could play around his board presence but I had countered one of his spells earlier to maze of ith'd my commander. Guy 2 board wiped and killed guy 1 within three turns. So I am making a mono color pauper deck every week, and this week I am on white. Attached are the three guys I am considering as commanders.

I am leaning heavily towards Stormfront Riders because it can return itself and something else each time it's cast, plus you get to leave behind bodies. So far I have noticed that common white creatures do have some ok etbs. Mostly just small buffs to attack and defense, but also some removal options too as well as a ton of life gain.

Ballista Squad is removal. I just liked the idea of a white targeted removal commander. I just don't know what other support there would be other than some random low drops that can block/attack whenever it's clear. Seems like it might be too much of an uphill battle for being both white and common to overcome.

I guess Ajani's Pridemate would be the easiest, but I just don't want to try to sit back and gain small drops of life for a voltron commander that would probably just get removed before it could land. If there were some stax options maybe it would be better, but in the commons I have I havnt seen anything better than single creature prison enchants.

If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I really think I am kinda set on Stormfront in my mind, but you guys always seem to see things I overlook, so maybe I am thinking its a better card than it really is.

So far I have noticed that common white creatures do have some ok etbs. Mostly just small buffs to attack and defense, but also some removal options too as well as a ton of life gain.

Ballista Squad is removal. I just liked the idea of a white targeted removal commander. I just don't know what other support there would be other than some random low drops that can block/attack whenever it's clear. Seems like it might be too much of an uphill battle for being both white and common to overcome.

I guess Ajani's Pridemate would be the easiest, but I just don't wn commander that would probably just get removed before it could land. If there were somsingle creature prison enchants.

I really like my Atarka dragons deck, but I wish it could be a little more interactive. For the most part it's just ramping into fat fliers and beating people in the face for the win alongside enchantments that help me do that like Bower Passage and Sight of the Scalelords.

What can I do to make this deck more interactive?

Life from the loam would work with all your fetchlands and the gitgud frog. Would also help fill up your graveyard.

Miren, the moaning well is another sac outlet on a land, and can potentially gain you a lot of life if you need to.

gravepurge seems kinda janky. I would play something like reaping the graves or praetor's council if you need something to refill your hand.

Diabolic Intent is another DT that works with your general.

Avenger of Zendikar seems like it would work with a lot of your deck. Landfall to trigger off all the lands coming in and out, bodies to sacrifice, bodies to hold counters, and it makes counters itself.

I'm generally not a fan of one-time use sorcery speed single target removal. Bone Splinters could be something like Attrition, for instance.

Skullclamp seems like a shoe-in for draw.

Crop rotation seems pretty lackluster if you don't have anything really exciting to rotate into, like a Cradle or something.

What are some nifty BUG control cards? I've decided to build a control The Mimeoplasm variant centered around discard and permission-based effects. I'm using things like psychic surgery, necrogen mists, memory jar, kokshun falls, propaganda and various wheel effects to both slow people down, while eventually getting something useful into the graveyard for Mimeoplasm as a wincon.

Hey /edh/ I'm wanting a little feedback here.

I'm going to rebuild my Karador deck that a took apart a while ago and giving it to a friend for Christmas. The way I was thinking about building it this time was to make it a little more toolbox than before and trying to make it more fun to pilot than before. Pretty much want cheap creatures that I can abuse with recursion and I'm not against degenerate combos either.

Listening music during games makes you an asshole. If you can't focus on game, just tell the other guy to speed up or learn some fucking diligence.
There's two people I know who constantly listen to music during games and it's infuriating.
They're dumb as shit, constantly miss triggers, want to rewind god knows how far back and never keep up with the game. They never have any idea what's going on.
If I play with someone, I want as much respect as I give them, but if I don't get any, I won't give any leniency, if they miss something, I won't rewind at all.

My respect crumbles though, if they fail to realize that human interaction is necessary for the game and that includes talking. When that happens, I see no reason to be respectful anymore. It's more like that they'd realize that it's kind of important to pay attention and I'm hoping that they'd learn and stop expecting me to forgive every mistake they make and let them backpedal all the way to their midwives.
They never do and usually I avoid playing with them if they keep doing it even if I tell them about it.
