She's also wearing power armour. This is exactly what I want from a new Sororitas range; the armour design remains the same, boobplate and corsets included, it's just bulked up a little so it doesn't look like they're wearing liquid latex.

I don't think it's a stretch to say that power armor is as bulky as it is due to a combination of heroic style and the fact that outside of the Sisters it is all worn by men for the most part with the rare female Inquisitor drawing or model.

Ah yes, this explains why the gambeson, armour made of layered compressed cloth an inch or two thick, never caught on and was never used ever in history, certainly not at the same time as full plate.
Oh, wait, no, you're retarded and have no idea how physics works. A foot of compressed chicken feathers would be much more effective for armoring a building or vehicle than an inch of steel. It'd just be a lot heavier and more expensive.
I would also like to point out that our only other points of reference for power armour are the bulkiest fuckers in science fiction. Even regular humans wearing power armour look hueg. Sisters logically should too, this is darkgrim grim darkness warhammer 40K, not magical girl anime.

The key word here is "can" as in if your opponent ignores them or some how you manage to get into charge range.

My personal biggest kill count with Repentias vs knights in a single game was 3.

It's terrible, because the original art is just kinda crappy. Its trying to cram way too much shit into the picture and none of the shit is interesting so it ends up a big samey blob of red'n'black. The only standout is the white hair in the middle.

It's great because it's a solid representation of the weird 90's goth-metal atheistic. It's cheesy and dumb as shit but that's what Warhammer and Heavy Metal and Vampire Chevalier Requiem and fucking Metallica were back then so fuck it, let's rock.

It's terrible because we've moved on since then. Or should have, anyway. Dumb shit like piles of skulls everywhere doesn't impress us anymore. We've grown old watching ISIS behead hostages with chainsaws and flying robots firebomb villages. The 21st century has as many horrors to offer as the fictional 41st millenium, and power armor isn't enough to make up the difference.

I personally don't like it. As in, I don't think the esthetics of the model is good looking. It looks, to me at least, clumsy, in a way that makes it looks stupid. some details from the artwork is magnified, and literally crammed on to the model as in "it must be there!" and the shoes is my biggest issue regarding this. Hell, they couldn't even fit the bolt pistol in the right scale, which makes it look way to clumsy than it should be.
She has some nice features though, the sword arm for instance is quite nice, so are the shoulder pads.

And of course this thread will be filled to the brim with all the Warhammer hipsters, claiming this to be the best model GW has released in years, and perhaps even years to come. And though I can see the fun in the miniature, as in "oh wow, lets do a mini from a classical picture", but the execution is less than what I would have expect from GW. And I fully agree with most of the kids who didn't even knew the original picture, because their first impression was based on the model, and not its "classical value", and I at least feel they are right when they say "it looks like shit!".
