How did you make the dice?

I'm doing up some for a game I'm writing, and it's a real pain in the ass to get the designs on them. I bought some basic wood cubes from the hobby store (balance is meh, but at least they roll) and have been colouring them with pencil crayon and paint.

I made dice boxes. They're nice, felt, hinges, nice little clasp. and some stain to pretty it up.

I could make d6s for days, but any other die shape is a bit outside the scope of my old shop class.
