I have to create a pub-style quiz for a party. Gief dank quiz-questions plz!

These are the ones I have so far:

1. What animal is the Canary Islands named after?
2. Which actor has the most on-screen credits ever?
3. On a normal clock, during 24 hours, how many times does the hour-marker and minute-marker overlap?
4. On a normal clock, when the time is 3:15, how many degrees of distance is there between the hour-marker and minute-marker?
5. In which month does Russia celebrate the October-revolution of 1917?
6. What is Scotlands national animal?
7. What is triskaidephobia?
>>
>>50481285
>1. What animal is the Canary Islands named after?
Would you accept answer "Canary"?

>5. In which month does Russia celebrate the October-revolution of 1917?
Is this purposefully misleading question? Because Russia doesn't celebrate October Revolution at all. Soviet Union did.

Also your quiz is pretty-damn euro-centric. And I say that as an Europoor.
>>
>when Lindsay Lohan was hot
>>
>>50481333

No the answer is not Canary, its "dogs". Canaria = "dog" in latin. Dog islands

And yea I guess its poorly phrased, I guess i should just say "during which month is the october revolution celebrated"?

But if my quiz is too euro-centric, give me some questions that arent. I just need a bunch of dank questions, whatever the subject
>>
>>50481285
>What is triskaidephobia
Is there anyone who doesn't know this?

yea, i think.... normal people? who dont lurk on 4chan? idea is, people can solve it by using some latin-knowledge, tho. best questions are the ones where people can argue/deduct. but those kinds of questions are hard to come up with.

This thread is full of this shit. Equating Latin and Greek, spouting nonsense Disney put into a musical once as actual knowledge, thinking "South-African" is a language. No wonder people have trouble coming up with a simple pub quiz, basic knowledge requirements aren't met.
>>
>>50482576
>kinda not /tg/-related
Knowledge-testing games like quizzes, debates, and riddles are probably some of the most traditional games out there.

yeah and I am not saying this thread should not be here, but c'mon man, let's not pretend /tg/ may stand for traditional games but the board is about wargames and rpgs with their crunch and lore with a tiny dash of boardgames once in a while. Threads like this one happen once every maybe few weeks.
>>
>>50484408
"C+" was never a thing

there is:
>B
super old, largely forgotten
>C
old, main language in ye olde days of computing, still used today, but mostly just for educational purposes
>C++
new version of C with extended functionality, widely used today
>C--
new version of C with reduced functionality (hipster project, serves no real purpose)
>C#
C++ intertwined with Microsoft proprietary extensions, only applicable for Windows application development, but actually good at it
