Airships for me will always be best portrayed in Last Exile.
And not the super rich people's either. The People's army, the one with the main characters. THOSE were fucking Airships man.
Especially loved how two big fucking airships would fight. Dudes, just fucking dudes, would run out-fucking-side with xboxhueg guns and shoot at the other ship until one side tapped out. Fucking glorious.

Either way, I remember an Eberron adventure for 3.5 I think that was set entirely on a modified pleasure cruise airship. A smaller one definitely could work, if you could somehow get all the guilds to leave you the fuck alone.

It has more to do with them hijacking a ship from a Thuranni assassin, and I'm exploring the possibilities, if not the plausebility of it in the Ebberon setting as a whole.
