Give me your easy to slot in high fantasy side quests.
Looking for things I can throw at my group that aren't plot specific.
So far I have
> Villager asks for help with pests in their basement but turns out they need an earth elemental exterminated
> someone asks for party to retrieve jewels/magic ring from goblin raiders. When party gets to goblin hideout, they find the signs of dead goblins as they arrive and see ogres/someone else has moved in

This isn't a quest thread in the "choose your own adventure" style per /qst/ guidelines.
This is "I would like some help with my dungeons and dragons game." Did you even read the post?

>Old druid needs help and an escort to find a very specific herb at the top of a local mountain/in a dangerous cave.
>Bandits have captured the earl's daugter/son and he needs a team to rescue them while they're distracted with the negociations.
>A powerful mage's three stupid apprentices have accidentally turned him into a newt and fled. Newt-mage needs help finding them so he can reverse the curse.
>Local guard puts a bounty up for a band of magical item smugglers.
>A hub town for an explorable region is ruled over by a mafia-esque dickhead squad
Of course, the PCs turn it over, but they are A) Majorly responsible for how things turn out in the power vacuum and B) Absent too often to rule directly.
A series of moral conundrums, fetch quests and repel-the-raiders missions ensue.
