>>
>>50271084

No, you idiot, a pedometer measures how many children you've sexually abused. Duh.
>>
>>50271084
1. What is triskaidekaphobia?
2. What is the capital of the tiniest country in the world?

General Knowledge.
Every question relating to a general.
ie:
1 Which British General was killed at the moment of his victory in the battle for Quebec?
A: General Wolfe.
2 Which general commanded the Parliamentarian cavalry at the battle of Naseby?
A: Oliver Cromwell (A great trick question this as Fairfax was the overall Parliamentary commander)
3 Which general commanded the Africa Korps at the start of the Second Battle of El Alamein?
A Ritter Von Thoma (Rommel was in Germany recuperating from diptheria and was already a Field Marshal anyway)
You get the point.
Did this as a ten question round in a ten round pub quiz at a Sgts mess a few years back. Highest scoring team got 8/10 lowest 0.
>>
>>50272902

alright, thats pretty clever. ill probably use one of those, thanks!
>>
>>50273044
I can probably dig up the entire round, I know I've got it saved somewhere, my team thatb night also did a Sci Fi round and the movies round was VERY scifi/horror based...
>>
>>50273080

my friends are highly varied (doctors, lawyers, journalists, deadbeat drug addicts), so im trying to got for a bit off all-out variation, but the more questions i have to pool from, the better. so yeah thatd be very much appreciated!
>>
>>50271084
Fuck it, I'll give you a couple you can use or not use
>What is the best selling game console of all time?
Playstation 2, 155 million units sold world wide
>To which soviet leader did President Ronald Reagan request "Tear down this wall"?
Mikhail Gorbachev
>Who wrote the Divine Comedy, which is considered the greatest literary work of the middle ages?
Dante Alighieri
>>
>>50271103
Both starts with a b, neither ends with an r
>>
>>50273427

awesome, thanks dude!
>>
>>50271084
>5
That's wrong. There's no such thing as a square root of -1. i is just a placeholder we use which lets us do algebra to it anyway, but it actually indicates something that doesn't and can't exist, which is why it's called the imaginary number.

>>50271162
Specify that it's a UN-recognized country, otherwise there's some weird ones that could confuse the issue.
>>
Maybe it's too technical but

Which has more petals per flower, a magnolia or a dandelion?
Magnolia, the petals are spirally arranged and indefinite in number, whereas dandelion flowers are actually composites of many flowers, each one having five fused petals.
>>
>>50273429
You stop that.
>>
>>50273518
yeah youre right, but luckily, noone made that point last year. However, I do think that question is valid. Maybe i shouldve specified here, but yeah, "imaginary number" or "there isnt one" is also a valid answer

Also, yeah, about the vatican, might have to drop that one. Either way, its kind of too easy of a question if i DO specify, and subject to debat if i dont
>>
>>50273535

thats pretty good, ive written it down. thanks!
>>
>>50273577
You can substitute dandelion for anything in asteraceae and magnolia for most of the magnoliales and nympheales, if other things are more locally common to see, I used those two examples because they're generally common.
>>
>>50271084
>1. How many children you've fucked
>>
>>50273662

thats the joke!
>>
>>50271084
>1. What does a pedometer measure?
Length, same as every other type of meter.
>>
>>50273998
What about Voltmeters, Ammeters and Multimeters or even Thermometers? None of those measure length.
>>
>>50274042
Then they're not true meters, but impostors.
>>
>>50271084
Are these gamers? If not:
>How many "attributes", or "abilities", does a Dungeons & Dragons character have?
Six, of course.

>Name either of the co-creators of Dungeons & Dragons.
If you want to make it a bit harder, make them name *both* Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.

>In Dungeons & Dragons, what statistic measures how difficult you are to hit?
Armor class, naturally.

>In Dungeons & Dragons, what is the only commonly-used type of die that isn't a platonic solid?
The d10, or ten-sided die.

>Name the original three character classes in Dungeons & Dragons.
Cleric, magic-user and fighting man (I'd give full credit for "fighter" as well).
>>
>>50274336
The funny thing about that last one is that the Cleric was actually predated by a custom vampire race-class and was introduced as an NPC specifically to fuck up the player of said vampire class' overpowered bullshit.
That's why they've got a solid van helsing vibe in their turn udead abilities.
>>
>>50274390
It should maybe say something like the original three *published* classes, or something like that.
>>
>>50274336

2-3 of them are, so i feel like it only makes sense to have a question pertaining to them. i will use one of those questions, thank you!

That is the actual answer for the question from the Monty Python skit
>>

>>

yea, im not gonna use that question but thanks anyway

Not a problem but I think the Worksafe Requests board may give you better results far as questions go.

Flumphs are rendered helpless when flipped on their backs.
>>
>>50287216

*OP still here*

I WANT that to be true, but I tried there 3 times and got no replies :\

So far, I've been getting a lot of good replies here, and I'm keeping the tab open until the thread dies. I suspect /tg/ gets crowded on the weekend, so I'll try to keep this one up or make a new one later, because I think people here are a bit more down with quizes than the other sections
