Maybe swap the Franklin and Spock ship? On top of needing repairs, it's also technically way subpar compared to the rest of the Fedaration's stuff.

Also not a fan of the augment tribble considering there's no reason to believe his blood could save the life of someone who, for example, just got their head cut off. Both times it healed someone they still had all their bits attached and just had a lot of nasty stuff in their system.

Tribble pet would be cool, though. If you gotta replace it, maybe the nanomachine bioweapon thingy whatshisface used in the third movie?

I think all vital organs and bones physically intact and it doing nothing for bleeding lacerations is a good benchmark-so it's more for internal bruising, sickness or poisoning stuff. Evangelion has...a lot of potential hijinks with its' fanfiction option. Touhou has one too but I can't vouch for the quality of fanfiction I've never read. Creepypasta has a similar cute drawback, and you can always join the Shark Punching Center in SCP.

Also technically, Auralnauts is one big silly fanfiction drawback as a jump.

True, though they said that the crash would've killed anyone else. He stopped limping a while later, which I guess was the regeneration factor at work. There's no reason to believe it wouldn't work on lacerations, I don't think.

I've changed it so that it works so long as their body is "reasonably intact", and swapped the Franklin and the Spock ship.

Got a little question about the Ben 10 jump. I was looking at the Evolutionary Function Item, and it says

Shaman King has necromancy, it's Faust's whole thing. It's different from just Oversouling someone into their corpse in that it uses the bare minimum of Furyoku needed for any action, giving it much better control and efficiency in exchange for less outright power. Means that Faust can create an entire skeleton army, or put all his power into boosting Eliza's strength.

So here's some perks yall were probably waiting for.

Warrior’s Spirit [Free] – Regardless of your background, you are prepared to deal with dangers that come with this new era. You know how to wield a common weapon available in Meiji Era Japan, and have years of experience with said weapon. You also receive a minor willpower boost, enough so that you won’t freeze or be helpless against the more notable swordsmen in this setting. Incidentally, this can include martial arts or hand-to-hand combat.

Heart of the Sword [100/200/300] – You’re not just any swordsman, however. Your skill with your chosen weapon above is the stuff of legends, making you both feared and desired by those who know of your prowess. The price you buy this perk at determines your starting skill level. 100 puts you above the human average in sword skill, able to fight defensively against some of the stranger foes in this setting without immediately being cut down. 200 places you above that and enters into the realm of fiction, where the common man can be cut down by you in a swing, maybe two if they’re armored, and lets you fight all but the most skilled in Japan evenly. 300 puts you in the realm of Kenshin Himura and other legendary warriors, able to use your weapon with enough skill that you can end a fight against most opponents within seconds after drawing it.

Shinsoku [300] – That roughly means ‘Godspeed’ in English. Before you get too excited, it’s not literally the speed of a God, though some may disagree upon seeing it in action. This enables the user to move at fast enough speeds in combat to appear as little more than a blur, almost invisible to the naked eye. This combined with enough skill in a weapon or style can let you end fights before the opposition has had a chance to ready themselves, and is a supreme assassination skill. However, this skill works best with the intent to kill – holding back your blows or being careful to avoid a lethal attack will make you move slightly slower than this perk’s full potential, but still quick enough that the common foe will have little time to defend themselves. Secondly, it does not protect you from the long-term damage a human body will suffer from moving at such a speed, especially with long-term use. You will either have to build up some muscle or surpass this limitation in order to overcome it, less you ruin your bones and muscles in the long run.

That's not fiat on either end, either, so this can be overcome with perks or a hardy altform. Or, you know, GAINS.

Identifying Scar [Free] – If you so wish it, you may have an aesthetic scar or ‘keep’ one from a past wound that will become associated with you when you build a reputation or are identified by others. It will compliment your appearance and remain as long as you wish. This goes for any wound in the future as well, and you may choose whether it will heal and fade, or remain as a reminder of some past battle.

Unique Style [Free/100] – It’s not just skill that’s thrown around a lot in this world, it’s techniques that combine both your physical capabilities and learned abilities into a fighting style that combines their best qualities. You may either make a custom-built fighting style with any mundane skills or martial arts you know and techniques to match, or spend 100 to know the style and techniques of a single individual from this jump. Know that you will still need to gain the skill, strength, and speed necessary for the style on your own, but you will have complete mental knowledge of what you need to use it. Blatantly supernatural skills or techniques are not counted or valid for this – you’ll have to make that on your own time.

Ogre [100/200] – It’s not just natural speed that wins a battle, but strength as well. For 100 points, you have a good amount of muscle on your body, plainly visible if you so desire. You can lift and wield a weapon like a Zanbato and be a dangerous foe with such a weapon, or break bones easily with your punches. For 200, you’re a freak of nature, standing at nearly seven feet tall and able to smash an unarmored fool like glass with a well-placed strike.

Yes. Basically, if you want the full Kenshin package, it's 300 for godspeed and 300 for Heart of Sword at full level, plus 100 for Unique Style. You could also try and learn these the hard way, but it's basically 700 points to be the strongest swordsman in this version of Japan.

Though Unique Style might not really be necessary if you just want the sword sweeping and super speed. It just gives you the techniques as sort of a frosting on the cake.

The main method of transportation was Last Exile airships scaled down to something like Jak and Daxter zoomers

For example, Mount Kalshekk from Fall From Heaven means I can introduce "the largest volcano in Erebus" complete with surrounding jungle full of dinosaurs and a caldera from which magic obsidian can be mined. Started watching Steven Universe over the last couple of days so doing a build. Pretty good show. Shame about the songs occasionally making me want to cut off my ears.

So went Gem obviously as that's where the money is. Crystal Gems rather than Homeworld as I like the Temple Room.

Went with the Qixoni Crystal I picked up in KotOR as it'd give me another weird facet to my force powers and I got it relatively early. Not entirely sure what to expect from it really as powers are pretty bizarre and difficult to predict (rose quartz gives healing tears and plant control, lapis lazuli lets you control water for some reason, etc.) Maybe just really really big force lightning. Probably going to start shouting "I AM THE DARKSIDE!" quite a bit.

Gemstone Lore gives me a minor power. Didn't really put any thought into what that might be. Anyone has any ideas let me know.

Bubbler Technique lets me put stuff in bubbles which was free but also only really useful here as it only works well on gems.

Confounded Warps... is largely a thing about putting down teleportation pads which I figure is useful for teleporting others.

Gem Science... is gem science so gets pretty silly.

Gem Weapon I'm thinking is going to be a battleaxe as that's berserkery and I'm more dark side than ever.

The Temple Room is more or less a warehouse attachment which I usually steer clear of but they're neat in the show and it's at least pretty damn setting appropriate.

Drawback means I can't shapeshift without Cronenberging. Could be worse.

Had half a mind to take the Diamond fighting drawback instead but the series doesn't seem to have gotten far enough to know how bad that would be.

And I totally agree, that building worlds is a really cool idea. It's why, in my opinion, Civ is one of the best jumps. Ten thousand years to build your own world in, there's a lot of cool stuff that could result. Something I'm kind of thinking about doing is to bring none of my stuff with me to Civ, then spend those ten millennia seeing how fantastic and exotic a setting I can turn it into. I almost feel like that would be cheating, though, since my personal world-editing abilities are actually greater than what I can get through Jump-chan fiat (if only because the things on offer usually aren't too huge, not making some dumb claim to be stronger than Jump-chan) at this point. Takes all the challenge out of the prospect if I'm just going to create everything I want and then alter everyone's memories so they don't realize they didn't always exist.

Memes around a series can be good inspiration for perks and items, but they should still have a solid basis in setting. So you should focus more on what caused the meme than the meme itself.

Hi guys I'm just here to mention that I got a little jolt of inspiration and did a little more with GHQ Jump!

Einjerhar is mostly this big out of context thing right now, it's Nano-Hollows that Kaizar's mucus started but they are spreading and can be used for all kinds of shit. (Yata's shit is made from using them to manipulate soul particles.)
Blitzkrieg is an invention of Kaizar's that's completely his own, not slowly spreading to others via contact.
Gone Full Kubo is the kinda positive butterfly effect that breaks suspension of disbelief. (IE the moment when Kaizar finds his wife has gone to the Japaneses Soul Society, and manages to make up with her in such a way that when they part they do so well.)
