Hi /tg/. Could you help adepressedGM in need ?
Coming mostly from 40k (DH and RT), Call of Cthulhu and various homebrewed and immediatly forgotten systems, I'm searching for an easy to use ruleset fit for a Super-heroes themed campaign, or at least to master a string of episodic scenarios without necessarily restraining myself with an overarching plot.
I want my players to have fun, while also not overburdening myself with bookkeeping, endless modifiers, cryptic rules or having to write a system all by myselfsince I'm already splitting my brain upon a fantasy project right now.
Any recommandation would be welcome and much appreciated. I thank you kindly in advance.
Mutants and Masterminds?
It's a variant of d20 and I've heard it's decent.

Open Legend RPG? seems good with tons of character customisation, exploding dice and all the rules are on their website

I thought M&M was pretty solid. What's wrong with it?

Nothing, he's memeing.
It just needs a veto-happy GM and players that are aware that powergaming is pointless.
M&M is solid. Character creation takes some work but only because it is incredibly flexible. Actually play runs much, much smoother. Easy on the GM too with literal plot pushing options.
