Are there any other good werewolf RPGs besides the World of Darkness ones? I'm curious, because while I like World of Darkness's system okay the fluff gives me a fucking headache and the crunch seems to be a bit stuck to the fluff.
Also general lycanthropy thread.

You looking for games that focus on werewolves, or games that can reasonably support werewolves?
You missed halloween by a few hours. Terrible shame

I assume based on this thread, you've tried /both/ the World of Darkness werewolf games? The new and old? If you've only played apocalypse, I'd recommend looking into Forsaken. It's far less trash.

>the fluff gives me a fucking headache
So dump the fluff
>the crunch seems to be a bit stuck to the fluff.
read as "I'm not prepared to make the slightest effort"
Might as well play D&D

what aspect of playing a werewolf is it that you like

So you want him to dump the fluff of two games that have been around forever, implying that you know nothing about them, but you think that the crunch is automatically seperable from the fluff despite literally having never looked at the game? Trust me when I say it would be a whole lot of work, and not even worth it in the end.

Both 3,5 and 4e have support for werewolf characters. Not strong thematically maybe, but doable.

I'm just looking for alternates, friend. No need to get a sandy vagina over it.

Try MonsterHearts for something different. Otherwise use a generic system.
