buy secondhand from ebay
use greenstuff to nurgify badly built models as those are the cheapest.
get the stuff from dark vngeance, nurglify the dork angels

If you want an easy way to Nurgle up some plastic models, you caneed dip a toothbrush in acetone nail polish remover and do some light scrubbing. The acetone eats away and warps the plastic.

How about Chaos Daemons?
You can take a great unclean one, 2 bare bones troops, and 3 Demon princes of nurgle (unclean one makes them heavy support) and throw upgrates at them, and get 1500 points out of 6 units.

not super competitive, but when i did it a few years back it only cost me like 250$

Plague Zombie Horde using the old Wargames Factory zombie boxes or bags of zombicide zombie miniatures. But what else you need from official GW models, and buy secondhand.
