With Archer, it depends entirely on which noble phantasms he has access to and prana to kick out. That said, iirc in one route he was half-dead and still managed to strip Berserker of like six lives.

Because he's Archer, he gets a high-rank Independent Action skill, which lets him operate independently without an external source of prana for several days. If it is Archer we are talking about, he took the archery combat style feats...in addition to the melee ones, and a few levels of spellcasting.

As for how well would he do in my game...well, the party could use someone who is good at both close and long range combat. On the other hand, he is a fuckton more powerful than the PCs, perhaps only falling behind in terms of pure strenght compared to the heavy hitter.
