I meant regarding the chances. Is the cancer risk a flat +0.1% per year? And does Clockwork only give a flat resistance percentage (i.e. up to a few years guaranteed freedom of said cancer, after which it starts ticking up again), or does it affect the yearly rate (i.e. two Clockworks is enough to fully counter the cancer risk, assuming it doesn't mean "0.05% of the base 0.1% risk")?

The main reason we think the Hayflick limit (thingy that means the more cells divide, the more their DNA degrades to the point of non-viability) is there, is to stop cells from dividing too much. Stem cells don't have that, they just keep dividing indefinitely. As a result, they're far more likely to turn into cancer cells.

As for clockwork, well, if you have no liver cells you can't get liver cancer, can you? Previous versions had more stringent costs because I wanted to avoid everyone going for the immortal option by default. Unfortunately, most anons were doing it regardless, so I decided to make things cheaper to encourage creativity.

Using a combination of his semblance, drone, glasses, and crossbow, it's almost impossible to tell where Koh will attack from in a fight.
He loves to set traps for unsuspecting grimm, and the occasional teammate as a prank.
Outside of fights, he tends to act as recon with his drone and ability working in tandem, he can reach areas inaccessible to most and memorize any building's layout.
When not on a mission (And often when on one) Koh is lazy, he prefers to just lounge around and let other people do the work.

Any chance of an exo cortex for an increase in say focus or attention or split attention (say by applying repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation to areas that may disengage focus, ear implants for language translation, or having an upgrade for the sherlock system for AI assistance for displaying calculations of mathematics problems, translating text, accessing the internet, as well as writing and running programs (thus being the only way a swarm user can use a computer).

Cognitive upgrades would make these systems incredible. My current build includes super solider plus all clockwork upgrades (except skin) plus I asked for lymphatic and glymphatic upgrades, ouroboros, and swarm. As I understand alittle about human physiology and alot about neuroscience, with with build I would be far more cognitively healthy, given toxin and waste products will efficiently be removed from the brain, while there will be a significant increase in absorption and metabolism of things needed to sustain stable and continuous neuronal firing. So plenty of lactate, glucose, and creatine for my brain. Stable hormone systems via the endocrine upgrade should ensure a far more stable mood.

Thats all I ask. Messing with neurology is pretty messy business, but I think there are ways of interacting with the the brain that enhance a person cognition. So for instance, people who are professionals at memorizing things tend to wear earmuffs and goggles that limit stimuli from the environment. As such, if an upgrade to say the sherlock system and an earpiece system, shut out auditory and visual information allowing the person to only see and ear input from say a built in computer display, then that person would conceivably be able to focus intensely on what available stimuli there is. So in essence its a built in VR system, with the shaddy organization having programs for learning things like combat skills or technical skills.

This is likely right up the alley of the organization, as if you could force some people to only exist in this VR system, meaning they either learned or payed attention to what was in front of them because there was no alternative. This is how we humans exist, we are largely confined to the behaviors possible in the environment around us. If all I can do is watch technical instructions or combat training, I will likely eventually relent and pay attention to it. So with time and if I can interact with the program (say solving equations or throwing a correct punch) then I will learn much via such a confined environment.

Just my rambling thoughts, but thanks for considering them nonetheless.

Variable Weapon: Think a charge axe from Monster Hunter (sword & shield), Axe Mode, and it's gun mode is a Gatling gun that can load dust into it's "Charge" slot. In sword&shield mode the dust makes an aura around the shield and sword that deals damage to enemies and the shield resists the opposing element and negates attacks of the same element. In axe mode, the dust is ignited and creates an elemental explosion similar to the switch axe on the enemy. Gun mode has the bullets gain element effect of the dust along with extra damage.

I'd want to create something like this from an Ursa or Boartusk as my ground ride and taking down a Nevermore or even a Dragon for an aerial mount.

I wield great power yet have no freedom. Some legends would run away, risking a life of being hunted just for some independence. I have a different plan. I seek to make myself the leader of an independent nation. Of course, this will require me to gather some influence, but the holy aura practically does that for me. With enough of a following, we shall take to the wilds to build my new city, though it may take some time to do so, and there are many dangers. But my subjects have a legend on their side, so they have nothing to fear. At least, not now.

Other people would criticize me for abandoning my post. I'll just tell them my post wasn't abandoned, merely shifted from one area to another, and the fact that I was their leader was simply for the best of these people.

Once the city is set up, I will have to deal with a few particular problems; namely food (can kill monsters for it), resources (can kill monsters for them), and other such issues. I do not expect my city to grow into a thriving empire, but that would be an unexpected benefit.

With strength rank 3 you should be able to throw them about 5km, but that is with normal air resistance, so if you remove it and x4 that speed they'll get insanely powerful.
It doesn't stop there however, because with explode you could accelerate them like a rocket since there isn't any air resistance.
Splitting them up into multiple parts for a grapeshot effect would also be possible.
So roughly 1,500,000,000 joules (1/3 ton of TNT) of kinetic energy that you can apply to an as large or small areas as you want.

Honestly, while I have some inkling on how to fluff it so it makes sense, the Maker augment is soft sci fi at best. I just saw a similar power in an old cyoa and thought it was neat, decided to use it.

You have to have some way of placing the subatomic particles in order. The way I imagine it, is this is achieved via a skintight EM field. The gloop is structured as it leaves this field. Your muscles are inside the field.

What's more, while I deem the array of organic matter making up muscle cells cohesive enough to count as a continuous substance, the neurons needed to control said muscles are completely distinct. Even if you were to make extradermal muscles, you'd have no way of controlling them.

Now, weapons. A sword and pistol there's no need to be ostentatious here. The sword should be collapsible so I can keep it on me easily.
Targeting glasses seem like a useful thing to have. Wilderness Gear, Rebreather, and Armor seem like they should be standard issue. That leaves 300, with which I'll get a motorbike for the sake of easy transport.

So. I'll go to battle school, be generally amazing, and also kill evil monsters from time to time.

Sometimes range is called for, and the facade drops with the blades retracting in favor of a wrist-mounted barrel and a few rounds, either high impact or scatter shot can make up for a close-range dependency. That said, her semblance makes for a great distraction to get up close with minimal risk.

Standard JRPG final fantasy dealy; evil monsters abound actively try to hunt and kill humans and the like, with PC adventurers being trained at one of four schools (one for each of the four kingdoms still standing) as Hunters or Huntresses. Lots of absurd weaponry with hybrid forms (Protag 4 chars use Sniper Scythe, Not-Magic Sword, Uzi-Machete on a string, and Shotgun Gauntlets). Not-Magic gets used by way of a substance that reacts to the aura (spirit) of sentient creatures to create different effects depending on their skill and how the stuff is processed. The same stuff functions at its baseline as a propellant for cars, energy infrastructure, and gunpowder all in one.

My players pretty much hate the source material but are either unwittingly (or just humoring me) by playing in a game with a palate swap and name swap taking place about a century prior to when the show's events go on before everything went to shit.

The prodigy that has an obsession with keeping his team alive. Ice forming bullets have plenty of utility in disabling targets, creating surfaces, blocking paths, or preserving lost or damaged body parts. The ability to teleport just means he's all the better at ensuring a save approach and getaway. Will focus on keeping the team alive over completing the mission. Probably won't handle casualties well. Excellent with planning the mission and aftercare- not great as an actual fighter.

It's weird. One day you're just an average college student, the next day you wake up in a completely different world, at the same time though familiar as if you had always been there. Dad would be proud of my wordplay if he were still around. Recently though, I discovered a newer power. My Semblance has woken, and with it I've discovered a new way to weaponize my guitar.
