I'm running a delta green game. A monster from outside time which can puppeteer corpses and access their memories got its ethereal claws on the corpse of a FBI agent. Two questions:

What does the monster do? It's not immediately apparent that it's not the puppet, though their death is clear

How does the thing bring more of itself into the world? I had a notion that there's a sealed sarcophagus which houses the original vector, and if the Thing can regain access to it, it can start raising an army of itself. Where does delta green conceal its spooky dangerous shit?

>Where does delta green conceal its spooky dangerous shit?

just make something up. call it 'site 650b' or something and when they ask whats at 'site 650a' you say 'we... don't go to 650a any more.'

Alright, so where is it? Deep beneath a post office? A locked area of a sewer? Delta Green doesn't have access to official storage anymore, not like they did in the 40s

'hey kid. you... ever hear that old children's song? the one that goes 'over the river and through the woods.. yadda yadda.. grandpa's house. yeah? well... we're going there.'

then you magic up a transdimensional safehouse delta took from a daemon that preyed upon lost travelers back in the mid-1800s. you can only get there by doing what the song says (make up verses for this), but it can be accessed from anywhere in the world by meeting the conditions.

Sounds too... World of Darkness? I want to save transdimensional portals for the end of the world scenario like the "colder war" short story. Escape hatches for the earth, not cutesy jokes
>>
>>49563151
alright then. how about a decommissioned /x/-tier site like camp hero?

'the engineer corps in charge of demolition and sealing the site in a concrete tomb after the montauk incident were in fact delta ops. the surface is scrubbed and sealed tight enough that no official oversight were deemed necessary. there's no fence, no guards, nothing. they don't even have a satellite looking at this place. the only access is by submarine port about a mile off the coast.'

glad i could help.

Delta green/CoC general? What's the best agency for players?
>>
Watched The Objective last weekend on recommendation, was pretty neat. Are there other DG-related or DG-like films or books I should look into?
>>
>>49562863
Does the FBI agent or anyone else the monster the monster has taken control of know about the existence of Delta Green or any other obscure occult organizations or anyone privy to major government secrets? It could be a serious issue if this thing manages to get its hands on a dimensional gate spell or any scientists that have been messing around with hypergeometry.

>Where does delta green conceal its spooky dangerous shit?
Green Boxes. http://fairfieldproject.wikidot.com/green-box
>>49563308 is on the right track, though a site like that might require more internal string pulling than DG is willing to put out unless the thing is a huge threat that can't be simply destroyed or banished.
>>
>>49562863
>What does the monster do?
Erases all evidence of its existence. If it survives by puppeteering corpses then its advantage is people not assuming the moving corpse is actually a possessed corpse, so it'd seek to regain the element of surprise

>How does the thing bring more of itself into the world?
Depends how they're made to begin with. Alternatively, there's bound to be some kind of portal tech in some hidden base somewhere, so it seeks it out.

>Where is it stored?
Somewhere isolated with lots of safety measures in place up to and including a device capable of vaporising everything within a 20-mile radius

Basically, SCP precautions

Captured creatures go into Ice Cave, but DG does not usually capture anything without a damn good reason .
>>
>>49568193
The Ice Cave is also owned by MJ12 isn't it?

If the monster is tough enough that capture is the only option DG could hand it over to MJ12 if they play it very carefully. It would be incredibly risky since DG doesn't trust MJ12 one bit (for good reason) but cooperation might be necessary if the Ice Cave is the only place that can contain it.
>>
>>49568382
MJ12 got taken over by Delta Green, while the new guys shut down most Majestic programs, it's likely that Ice Cave still exists, since it's extremely useful and given the nature of it DG couldn't shut it down even if they wanted to.
>>
>>49568463
The cowboys are still out there though, and they trust the new official DG about as much as they trusted MJ12. It depends on whether OP's guys are playing as The Program or The Group but sending the monster away to the Ice Cave isn't without its risks either way.
>>
The usual method for the Cowboys is renting a locker, closing it as tight as you possible, pay for as much as you can in advance and hope that the thing never shows up on Storage Wars.

Some things might get sent to Wu to rot in the Stacks, but probably only archeological stuff.
>>
>>49568703
>hope that the thing never shows up on Storage Wars.
Now there's a scenario seed.

>The host of a Storage Wars knock off cracked open a forgotten Green Box in a small town in Montana and was pulled inside of it by...something. The videographer managed to get away unharmed and posted the video on Youtube. The agents are tasked with dealing with the threat in the town and trolling anybody taking the video too seriously into irrelevance.
