I hate the plot so much, OP. I'm going to tear it down and build my own, better one in its place. And not even the meme shit with blackjack and hookers, I don't need that to make my plot better.
>>
if I bring a Meseeks Box to Disboard, and summon/create a Meseeks to break the pledges, will I suffer the consequences, or will the meseeks?
>>
Fun fact about DXD I just learned because of tvtropes.

Draig has the ability to 'make his attacks bypass any barrier'.

Issei names this power 'penetrate', and uses it on his eyes. Anime xray vision ensues.

That's pretty much what you'll be doing for Parts 2 and 3. Nothing as big as Abaddon's Crusades, but one of your own.

In other news... I think I'm going to try a new chain. A Redux version, an attempt at seeing what may change if I went down a different route. Depending on how it goes, I may end up making it my new main chain and cast the other one aside. It had become too... stagnant, I guess? It started to not really feel like 'me', it felt like someone else who had just been going along for momentum's sake. I'm not sure if it was the stigmas that had been attached to them, or how my projects had stagnated to simply being updated, or... something.

But I'm gonna try a new hand at it. A different way of how things went, and see if the TUMBLING DOWN that inevitably happens makes it more fun.

Tell me about a time you liked the plot enough to get involved in it, but at the same time tried to avoid changing anything.
>>
>>49543206
Yeah, Issei's one classy guy, alright. He's actually not that bad most of the time, he just really needs to learn better timing for his bouts of anime perversion.
>>
Jumpers, what is the most epic way you have derailed a plot during one of your jumps?

>not having an episode of Japanese Maury with Arturia, Guinevere, Morgan Le Fay, Mordred, and Lancelot, along with one very confused Archer.
>>
>>49543201
Meseeks would be unable to break the pledges, he'd end up creating more and more Meseeks and trying to dethrone Tet and abolish the pledges so he can die.
>>
I forget who made it, but DXD got 'fuck this' said about it by the maker, right?

Did anyone ever claim it after that?
>>
>>49543260
Strike-chan made it.

I believe, but don't take my word as gospel, that Strike did in fact reach a "fuck this" point and decide that someone else is allowed to take a crack at it if they think they can do better.

Strike-chan is on often enough that I'd try to check before you do anything, however.
>>
>>49543260
No, because no one who knows it well enough to do it right wants to deal with that shitstorm

It was Strike that made it, and yes strike said fuck it and offered it up. I don't know if anyone claimed it.

I'm planning on derailing RE5 by replacing Uroubouros with some benign but vaguely lewd virus so that when Wesker claims responsibility for it he just looks like he's revealed his magical realm to everyone. But I can't think of a way to make it not super creepy to do in the first place.

Please explain. Is it like "everyone is more attractive and looks 23 until they're 80" or full on "double everyone's libido 5ever"?

If you cure enough things at the same time I'm sure they'll appreciate the fact they no longer need viagra.

Considering Tet is an active force in his world, I'd bank on the Meseeks suffering first and then Tet personally arriving to slap your shit.

>>49542751
I thought it can fly through basically anywhere there's a temporal distortion already, even if the distortion was repaired or sealed away? So in Discworld if you don't want to be around for the Auditor invasion you can just fly to the point where Lobsang fixes everything.

In series like Billy & Mandy, Kim Possible, KND, Ben 10 and basically any cartoon with That Time Travel Episode you could tag along without having access to THEIR time machines. Bayonetta too, if you want to fuck with that little shit Loptr; just remember to bring your A-game. FF13 is apparently littered with temporal gates too, so you won't be needing them to get around to different eras.

You may also consider that in certain realities such as Exalted, 40K there are vast sections of existence (The Wyld/Beyond of Oramus, and the Warp respectively) which can be defined as extremely vast distortions of time. The best part is, the description seems to imply it otherwise works as per canon which might give you a shot at bypassing conventional dangers of time travel; this is a particularly big deal in Exalted because time travel normally doesn't exist, and it's heavily implied in Broken Winged Crane that the fact the King of the Primordials possesed this ability was a Big Deal.

>>49543242
I mailed Chuck an elaborate critique of his books. in the form of the annotated scripts of Supernatural's episodes. I highlighted sentences like "are you seriously going to just let the Leviathans run around without doing anything? Seriously" and "This is stupid. Death can't die" and "Your sister still hates you. Don't do this". And especially "I stopped this from happening, preventing a lot of unnecessary deaths. Don't thank me, just do us both a favor and overlook what I've requisitioned"
>>
>>49543343
Well, that's the problem, I can't think of a way to do it that would be sufficiently embarassing for Wesker but wouldn't cross a line for my own morality. Like, it has to be something that Wesker would hate to have associated with him, but not something that I'd feel bad about inflicting on the populace. I might have to scrap the plan entirely.

>>49543211
I think that accurately describes my current forays into Exalted. I have been VERY active, but the place is a goddamn landmine full of potential godslaying superweapons in human form.

So I've been making Changeling contracts with certain vested interests, to exploit causality and be able to create Gaia's version of Infernal Bastion somewhere convenient. But I'm using An Audience, My Lord to arrange one in relative privacy, while the other mainly involves working outside the reach of fate ninjas.

I've been engineering the terraforming of Shadowlands, a hostile takeover of the Guild and tried to make several Realm provinces actually nice places to live in-but only at many removes and through a series of contrived coincidences to give myself plausible deniability.

I've been learning all I can about Sorcery, mainly by using True Librarian to steal the Book of 3 Circles from Raksi through a hidden subspace nobody in Exalted even knows exists.

And I've been learning as much as I can about First Age engineering and the martial arts while conspiring with Mnemon to help her become the new empress, under the facade of being basically an eccentric party animal renaissance man. Once I had to dispose of a Craft: Genesis experiment REALLY quickly so I had to feed it to the Beasts of Resplendant Liquor. And for a week, something lik 20% of the Dynasty's magic heroin gave them a bad case of planets.

When Kuuga is injured, he reverts to a lesser state called Growth, if I remember right. In this form, he can't transform for two hours, and he's much weaker.
>>
>>49543518
Would you still be disappointed if I said I was from SB?
>>
>>49543528
Pegasus (Green form) can only be used for a limited time and its basically a sense+ reaction booster and then he has to revert to a weaker form

You can imagine why you wouldn't want to have super senses when a spear enters your body though
>>
>>49543528
The white form is Growth Form, Kuuga's base form, though he uses Mighty Form (the red one) so much that it often appears that's the base. The idea there was that he was so injured that he didn't have enough energy to sustain Pegasus Form and had to revert to a weaker state.
>>
>>49543583

>>49543322

I swear, all I was going to do in BSG was provide support and a lot of extra firepower. I'd only seen the miniseries and the first few episodes when I started the Jump, so there wasn't much I could do other than react in the first place.

I don't count saving those civilians that Interim President left behind. We were just barely able to cram them all aboard the Defiant even with the crew quarters being abandoned (slapped together a droid crew capable of running a Galactica-class battlestar in only seven months. I was rather proud of that.) and had to spread a few of them around the rest of the Fleet. So yeah, my only major change was adding a few thousand to that population whiteboard, along with a bigass ship and near a gross of Vipers I modified into yet more droids.

Think a Mk2 Viper body, with the cockpit gutted and replaced by the control systems, processors, memory, sensors, and programming of a Tachikoma.

So a bit more people and a bit more defense. Not too big a change, right?

Then the Pegasus arrived.

There was a lot of yelling, a few death threats, some actual deaths that I considered Justice but apparently were technically murder. By the end of it, the Defiant was a semi-independent "state" within the Fleet, where nature of the company and crew dictated that artificial organisms and robots be given the same rights as humans, including giving Pregnant!Boomer and SuicidalSix asylum. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever rescinded the order to shoot on sight any member of the Pegasus crew.

Oops.

>Battlestar Defiant! Defiant to the last!

You asked about trying not to change anything. Never said we had to succeed.

It's not even thousands of years. It's just me looking at what could have been, and realizing I'm just sitting here stagnating because I don't want to do anything galaxy-ending or whatnot. I fully blame my playstyle, but when it's just at the point where my projects become a chore to update instead of figuring out how things synergize... I dunno. I felt I just need a breath of fresh air. Maybe see what happens if I see how things progress.

...I'm going to have to call this one a three-way tie for reasons that will soon become clear:

My Ravenloft doll. It just sort of sat there in its outfit, in a dark alley. Completely motionless. I meaningfully go to sleep-and wake up to the sound of a witch screaming her lungs out, yanked out of her own barrier. Surrounded by other mutilated Witches. And the doll, lying on a pile of their corpses. Did I mention I never found out where it got that knife it was holding?

Orochimaru. It started out as a prank but...he had FUN with it. He's always been interested in doing science to magic so he kept trying to ask other magical girls to get a look at their bodies. While being a grownass man. In a magical girl outfit.

The Necron Tomb Spyder. Because it somehow outfitted the scarabs it emitted with magical girl outfits of their own. So there's this giant robot bug in a badly-fitting magical girl outfit threatening to slip off blasting death metal as it flies through town, surrounded by a swarm of smaller metal bugs wearing magical girl outfits that somehow fit better.

Did I mention this was in Magical Girl Noir Quest? We didn't stand out as much as I feared.

So we were Magical Idols who fought servants of the elder gods hoping to use their twisted music to awaken the great old ones. We used the magical power of music to fight their evil and keep the old ones from awakening or subduing the old ones that do awaken.

A few of my more serious and cynical companions thought this world was stupid. Some embraced the roles to a frightening degree (Snowflame had a lot of fun).

I bumped in to Nyarlathotep again… sorry Nrayko as she likes me to call her. Ironically you would think she would be against us but really didn’t give a damn about the actions of the cultists or our actions for that matter. She just wanted my chocolate from 1984. I had no idea she had a sweet tooth.

We fought some descendants of the deep ones trying to Raise Dagon and Mother Hydra from their slumbers in the deep.

We also had to Contend with hunting down an ancient book of Songs that turned out to be this worlds version of the Necronomicon

Then we had to deal with a female pop idol version of Cthulhu who had awoken and her songs actually drew the souls out of the bodies of her listeners and consumed them.

(Te be continued)

I plan on going to the Minish Cap jump when it comes out, grabbing the HYA! perk (I think it's called Pure of Heart?) and then going to the Madoka jump, so that whenever a magical girl is about to give in to despair, I can give them an inspiring speech with a single roar.

>My parents think I'm a monster! Maybe...maybe I really am one...

Nyarko actually was the one who suggested we use a song out of the Necronomicon to undo a period of time… It was tricky because by using it there was a chance of erasing ALL time and the universe. I managed to modify the song to make it safer and easier and we completed it tried to prevent Cthulhu from rising instead we just warped back to just as she had woken up.

We didn’t have enough energy left to be fighting Cthulhu so I challenged her to a singing completion without any magic or soul stealing. Being a proud Idol in this world she was sure there was no way she could lose so she agreed.

We both sang our hearts out I gave it my best and so did she and… I just barely beat her out. So Cthuhlu broke in to tears when she lost and I felt bad for making an elder god cry so I offered to let her absorb some of the energy from my MCU infinity Stone so she wouldn’t have to absorb the souls of humanity or go right back to sleep. She agreed. She actually stayed awake for a while and was rather nice when she wasn’t trying to eat the souls of all humanity.

Name a better candidate.

>Why don't you just overthrow the R-

Name a situation where a champion of overwhelming power usurped the pre-existing authorities that has ever ended well in Exalted.

I'm trying to reform it from the top-down but there's only so much I can do while being trapped in this gilded cage of magical crack cocaine, ridiculous dancing, doing my Dynastic duties (SHUT UP I'M IN DEEP COVER and them not being able to walk for weeks means less immediate rivals) and the occasional court incident, to keep the Sidereals from investigating someone who is CLEARLY the class dunce of House Mnemon. Mnemon will be the best kind of figurehead: The kind who I can convince to do what I want anyway i.e. rebuild the Realm into a functional social structure and take the first steps to reuniting the Solar and Terrestrial Exalted.

Thus distinguishing her legacy from her mother's, and delivering a giant fuck you to both the Scarlet Empress and the Sidereals who have tried to control her house through the Immaculate Faith. She gets what she's always wanted, I get someone I can trust to handle the Realm end of things while I retain enough standing and independence to attend to more unorthodox strategies when the other Exalted jumps are made. Everyone wins!

The Realm will be a very different place once I've worked out all the details. But it won't be rebuilt in a day.

But ASA, the Great Old Ones are the most powerful and successful of all alien races in Lovecraft.
>>
>>49543889
Well, Minish are tiny people that create magical objects and are invisible to adults and children. They're also pretty much one of the nicest fictional races ever, as they are absolutely delighted when they make people happy, and use the energy they gain from this to make them even happier, because they love them so much. Vaati is pretty much the only exception, and even he's only evil because the evil in man's heart corrupted him. Heck, the manga version even ended up being redeemed! Now, the caps are either Link's hat, who is actually a Minish that was turned into a cap by Vaati, or the cap Vaati wears that gives him his immense magical power. That aside, see here >>49543903 for the full details.
>>
>>49543882
I think "in exile" is probably the wrong word for a government that has had every single member of it murdered.

>>49543889
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is a pretty good Zelda game for the GBA. Has a lot of fun mechanics, with one of the centrals ones being shrinking down to interact with the inch-high "Minish" people. Some of the dungeons are incredibly tiny, and you have to go to Minish size to explore them. Makes for some cool set pieces, like the puzzle in the first dungeon where you have to enter a barrel and roll it around to access staircases through holes in the side. I couldn't bring myself to hurt either of them. Frisk and Chara were both cutes, and I ended up giving them both happy lives along with Asriel. I also gave Chara and Asriel much needed therapy, and when it was time for me to leave I gave them all hugs goodbye. Frisk and Asriel told me to come back someday, and Chara pretty much told me that if I didn't, she'd find me and MAKE me come back.

Jump 93: Mad Men
>Identity
Alias: Jane Doe
Age: 22 (1058)
Sex: Female
Drop-In
>Perks
User Friendly--regardless of complexity, can always make simple and intuitive interface
The Hobo Code--understand slang and signs and have respect of vagrants and such.
Manipulation of the Media--master at getting message out to public
Arm Candy--Major appearance buff
>Items
Poster Collection--Get a 60s style ad poster at end of Jumps
Business Cards--appropriate and professional business cards
Chocolate--can pull a Hershey bar out of pocket or thin air
Minibar--fully-stocked minibar, updates in new places. only mortal drinks and mixers.
>Drawback
Career Gal--get passed over for credit as others make passes at me.

Gotta be honest. I did this Jump entirely for the minibar and the sixties. Invent my favorite shot near two decades early and enjoy three of my favorite movies, two of my favorite television series, Woodstock, and everyone's favorite, the Apollo missions! Also crank calling Nixon. Make untraceable calls, passing every bit of security they can put together, to ask if he has Prince Albert in a can and such. Also, suppose I'll work as an analyst/file clerk/secretary or some such. No idea of the plot of the series, so play it all by ear and be entirely selfish.

>not going to give up power

Who said anything about giving up power?

>being innately aren't going to happily serve their inferiors

Certainly, as long as they think of themselves as "innately superior".

See, I've set up a covert portal network throughout Creation, to rescue Solars on the verge of capture by the Wyld Hunt; easy enough to play that off as yet another Anathema trick. Using my aforementioned contract with Gaia, I've created a hidden valley full of networked manse-bastions in which I'm overseeing the training and education of the Solar Exalted-with the help of a what few Gold Faction members I've distantly contacted through Lytek as an intermediatery. It's sort of like a kung fu wizard night class, with portals to send them back to whatever they're currently working on when they're done.

This education includes me having printed out lots of Exalted PDFs and highlighted CERTAIN THINGS the Solar Deliberative did. Like the underworld rape-cave. And the Great Curse (eightfold secrecy enchantments, all the sublime interstices of incongruity I could nick from the Tapestry without suspicion; I'm not taking any chances but what they do outside the valley is their own business. Mostly.), as well as my cure. And Desus.

I am, in short, driving home the notion that the greatest lie the Ebon Dragon ever told was that he was Creation's greatest enemy.

I can't control the Solar Exalted.

But I CAN make them realise they need some measure of control.

About to go to lunch but I'd say the first thing you should address is a way to curtail the Warp's influence, and your definition of "fix" may vary. The Goddess Seal from Drakengard is a good start. All this discussion really really makes me hate how GW has retconed Chaos Undivided. We had numerous examples of people just worshiping Chaos itself instead of one of the individual gods plus examples of Undivided Daemon Princes.

Hell in some of the lore it seemed that the Chaos Gods were just different aspects of the primordial force of Chaos rather then being separate entities. .

You're going to cure the Great Curse. When that happens, you're going to have to deal with the fact that most Solar Exalted are going to be more competent than most Terrestrial Exalted. And because of that, they're not going to be happy as slaves to the Terrestrials. It's just not going to work.

You're upsetting the proper hierarchy!

Someone asked about that and I have very little to say about it. From a canon point of view it is the only worldline where he's amiable enough to be a Companion so I went with that. Otherwise he's guaranteed to betray you for your power. He's also wise enough to wait until you take one of those Drawbacks that grant a spell that's able to steal your shit. You'll note that none of my companions do anything like absolute loyalty. You have to convince the reward companions but they'll be amiable to you in the Mortal Heroes. In Minish Cap you'll note they meet you and over the course of the Jump wish to go along with you but no loyalty beyond what you make with them. It's just something I do.

(Pokemon) #1
-Background: Small Town (950) -Start off simple, not a lot of issues.
-Starter: Torchic (Free) -FIRE BIRD!
-Physical Fitness (Free) -Need to be /fit/ as fuck. I like strong.
-Free Running (850CP) -Acrobatics! Strength and speed are good combinations.
-Combat Training (750CP) -Good skills to start off to defend myself.
-Survival Training (650CP) -I'm out in the fucking wilderness, I NEED this.
-Aura (350CP) (Discount) -See emotions, make barriers and blasts. What's not to like?
-Savant (-250CP) -Super smart and insane shooting skills? Yes please.
-HM Collection (-300CP) -You never know if you need certain skills.
-Swarmed (-200CP)
-Marked (0CP)
Dice Rolls: Kanto, 17 years old
-End Choice: Next Adventure

YAAAAAAAAAY POKEMON!

But in all seriousness, it's a good starting point. Memory is made way better, I actually have some decent freaking body strength, and Aura is always a nice touch as it allows empathy and spheres with barriers. What's not to like?

And it all means nothing's going wro-

No. Not the Zubats. No. NO. OH GODS NO WHY THE FUCK ARE THERE ZUBATS. STAHP. WHY. FUCKING HELL.

(Cosmic Warehouse)
-Electricity (140CP) -ELECTRICITY. It's a friend.
-Plumbing (130CP) -Running water is underrated.
-Heat/A.C. (120CP) -For that perfect temperature when I'm working.
-Forcefield (100CP) -I want a fucking safe zone. This is my home, it needs to be safe.
-Shelving (Free) -Organizational skills!
-Workshop (80CP) -I won't know it now, but I'll learn to use it soon.
-Medbay (60CP) -Always be prepared. Something may happen where I need immediate treatment.
-Portal (40CP) -Instant doorway any time!
-Free Space (10CP) -Double the Warehouse. I want to be able to have anything.
-Food Supply (0CP) -Let's face it. A home needs to be stocked and I may not be in places where food is readily available.

(Body Mod)
-Build: Medium (Free) -Get some mass on me. I'm tired of being a twig.
-Archetype: Charmer (500CP) -I've always had low self-esteem issues. I want to change that.
-Shape 4 (400CP) (Discount) -DEM HIPS. YES.
-Appeal 4 (300CP) (Discount) -Perfect skin? That means no body hair. YES. PLEASE.
-Senses 1 (250CP) -No more reliance on glasses, it's time to make them cosmetic.
-Metavore (150CP) -FUCK YEAR EAT WHAT I WANT.
-Endowed 4 (100CP) (Discount) -Tits. Huge ones. It's about time, no more self-confidence issues for me!
-Color 1 (0CP) -Pale skin, blood red hair, and blue eyes tinted to a violet. Let's get otherworldly.

...if anyone thought these choices would be different, then I am disappointed in you. But in all seriousness, food that's always there? A SAFE Warehouse to consider with a fuckhuge space, with all the tools and medicine needed? A ROCKIN' HOT BOD with plenty of curvature and no loss of figure?

-Natural Instinct (900CP) -Intuition and muscle memory? Always useful.
-Multitalent (800CP) -Extra endurance and less sleep? What's not to like?
-Map Surveyor (600CP) -You can't believe how useful an internal compass is. To say nothing of never being lost.
-Hyperkinesis (200CP) -The body form of Savant. I will have ABSOLUTE CONTROL.
-Explorer/Rescue Badge (Free) -My 'get out of jail free' card.
-Pecha Scarf (50CP) -Total immunity to poisons? BE PREPARED.
-Persim Band (-100CP) -I will always know what's going on with this.

I'm the sort who would select pokemon for loyalty and intelligence, then ask them to make their own choice about coming with me. A stacked question, but better than just forcing them to come along.

But your decision has its own logic, due to the same behaviors I rely on. Your pokemon are too biased to really give the question a fair answer. They'll come with you even if it means certain death, because they love you and want to protect you.

Assuming you weren't a dick, of course. But if you were, you'd just force them to come along anyways.

It depends on which game you landed on. The first game you MIGHT be able to beat by yourself, but the other ones are damn near impossible, especially the water stages in your case, without a partner. And the final bosses consist of: the mad god of time, the pissed off god of space, a demon(like creature) who wants to plunge the world into eternal darkness, a future seeing dragon ice god, a monster born from the collective misery of the world, the local death god, and the Pokemon equivalent of Persona's Nyarlathotep AKA the embodiment of every negative attribute in everyone.

My Mortal Hero Update has stalled a bit, I've had stuff to do and also did the Minish Cap at the same time. I'll have to review all the requests since the last time I posted and make sure I've gotten everything. If you have a particular quibble I'm right here willing to hear you out.

-Background: College Student (900CP) -Be a blacksmith student. I need to get hands-on.
-Powers: Smoke -Break something and smoke is EVERYWHERE. With fire. Way too much utility.
-Strength (800CP) -STRONK. Always useful.
-Durability (700CP) -Taking bullets? Holy shit, need.
-Stamina (Free) -Extra stamina! Let's me do more.
-Regen (600CP) -Healing. Need I say more?
-Toggle (300CP) -Insanely useful. Incognito is always an option.

-Hardened Cell Phone (Free) -Ring ring! Call anyone.
-Hardened Laptop (Free) -Connecting to the internet is always useful.
Dice Rolls: Seattle, 18 years old

This time around was different! A safe area, safe city... no drawbacks this time, no capstones. As far as I can tell, we're safe. Except I have BITCHIN SMOKE POWERS AND I'M STRONK. A bit of regen, and plenty of control over those powers! YAAAAAAAY.

...I'm probably going to be a bit boring and attend college with my braniac skills and be fucking awesome. I'm sure SOMETHING will happen, but I'm willing to consider this 're-do' a resound success.

>>
>>49545119
So, what happens if you take this mid-chain and are already fairly powerful? If you relax for a decade, will it eventually catch up to your current legend? Also, are there any limits on its changing? Does it have to remain a crown? Could it eventually become something like a halo of shards or even stranger things?

>Weight Upon the Brow:...As time goes by and you continue on your personal story you’ll find it changing. You might wake to find it’s covered in decorative leather etching one day, only later to wake and find it’s now an adorned metal circlet. It shall continue to change as you grow in glory, charisma, and strength, shifting in time into the perfect crown or other adornment to perfectly encapsulate your nature and legend.
>>
>>49545178
Maybe

>>49545193
It's growth will speed up in order to catch up to you. It starts as a simple leather band either way, but it'll start growing to catch up. Once it's caught up it's pretty on the ball overall, you won't need to worry about it lagging behind a bunch.

It could potentially become pretty strange It's entirely within the realm of fanwank and what works for your chain and it's story but the gist remains the same. It's a "Crown" in that it's some adornment upon or around your head/brow that serves as a symbol of your authority/legend/might/charisma/etc.

Honestly, she knows only a few things:

-She was given the choice to jump worlds while her home's time is paused
-She has no idea where she's going or where she will end up

She really has zero influence on where she's going. Beforehand when I was around at the very beginning, this was exemplified with how I did jumps as they came out, as Red NEVER knew what was going to come out. While this time around the Benefactor is arranging things to try a different course, her lack of knowledge still remains the same.

However, that doesn't mean there aren't some hopes:

-Idealized body. This should be fairly obvious, who doesn't want to look good? The intense self-loathing I have for myself is a big fuel for this, and having that weight off my shoulders means a ton of extra desire to do things.
-Explore magic and the otherworldly. I'll be frank, I LOVE magic. Something about it entices me, along with the myths and legends that can surround our various cultures. I've always wanted to become a part of that somehow, and often fantasize about getting magic of some sort or becoming something otherworldly to fit in such a world. Be careful what you wish for.
-Explore the possibility of a demonhood that doesn't auto-turn you into a fucking asshole. Now admittedly this one is a bit odd, as a lot of people see demons as "those fucking assholes which torture people and hang out in hellholes", but it's not how I see it. I see them as... a dark mirror. Tempters who can't do anything unless the possibility is there to begin with. Explorers of truth, even if that truth really hurts. There's no need to hold back if it's not who you are, to lie is to deny yourself. When the person down the street is saying how he was 'corrupted' by whispers in his ear, one has to ask how the demon had power over him. You can't just make someone like something when they never liked it before. It has to have been there to begin with.

So yeah.

Worm_Anon, if I may make a suggestion for a new Worm power (if that's okay right now, if not you can ignore this, you deserve a break if you need/want one.) I came up with this a bit ago and I was wondering if it would work. The idea was something along the lines of taking on Angel like traits (wings, halo, all that stuff) with some powers like exuding a calming effect, appearing beautiful to people who see you, and causing people to believe that whatever you say is the truth, and not just the truth but the word of God almighty. Those with strong will, who have discovered that you lied to them, or have seen you do immoral or deceitful activities will be able to resist this effect. The basic theme would be making people want to do what you say, or be around you, because they think you're this benevolent being, which would allow you to manipulate them or take command over them, though it would lack in direct combat applications. Does that sound good?

...by the way, I'm suggesting this because I think I remember you said you would take ideas for Worm powers? If that's incorrect, then that's okay, I'll just sit in the corner or shame.
>>
>>49545239
Hey I'm always up for suggestions. It's a thought anon, I'll jot it down and see if I can use it. My only real concern is that he's kind of weird for a Worm power as is, but I can think of a few ways it could work for the jump.

Not making any promises on if it'll go in, but it's put in my notes. Thanks for the suggestion anon. I really appreciate it.

Remember when I said I was gonna update the endgame scenario for Gurren Lagann?I'm still doing that, but what do you guys think of an option where you can win by redeeming the Anti-Spirals?

I don't see much of a point.
>>
>>49545284
Thank you for considering it. Yeah, I figured it would be a little weird for Worm, but I think one of the Endbringers has an angel like design, so I thought "Hmm, that might be something to think about." Even if you don't use it, it was nice of you to consider it, so thank you again.

>>49545313
>Redeeming the Anti-Spirals
That sounds AWESOME! With their technical knowledge and experience, combined with the Spiral power of humanity (and their own, of course), the future of the Gurren Lagann would be full of new possibilities, especially if we could convince the Benefactor to grant that Spiral Nemesis free thing to people in that universe.
>>
>>49545344
Yes, but only after he killed them/it. I'm talking about something similar to the secret ending in the Touhou jump, you'd have to talk to the Anti-Spirals and make them realize that subjugating and exterminating entire species isn't the right way to do things.

LOOK man.

Creation is in a freaking wreck. 90% of the place has been BURNED TO MOTONIC ASH, the people who COULD have made it great again went mad and died, and now all competant institutions are devoted to making it STAY that way.

The hierarchy is already shattered. I'm just trying to salvage as much of what's left as possible and reassemble it into something better in a manner that won't repeat the mistakes of the past, because yet staring across this barren wasted land I feel new life will be born BENEATH THE BLOODSTAINED SAAAAAND

>>49544307
That's a bit of a chicken and egg problem. The CGs are awful terribad because the emotions of psychically sensitive beings are awful terribad, and people in 40K are awful because the CGs are awful.

Ages ago I recommended mass brainwashing to Emps to break the feedback loop, but to make a long story short there was a parting of the ways. I suppose your only hope would be to embark on social engineering (1984, Civilisation, Tropico etc) on a galactic scale to cultivate communities equipped with psychic countermeasures-if your tech is sufficiently advanced reverse engineering the Cadian Gates would be a good idea-then gradually let the good vibes trickle out. Or just jump Eldar and somehow rebrand Soulstone technology as an Imperium thing, perhaps.

The problem with this is that you're going to need A LOT of time because of how ingrained xenophobia and violence is to the universe-but ultimately, the gods are shaped by emotions, so any attempt to reform them will be founded on a community's efforts.

>>49545313

I propose locking up every last Celestial Exaltation, converting all humans into Dragonblooded, creating some sort of self-replicating ethereal reverence engine to fill the missing humans' role as "prayer cattle", and then reverse-engineering Alchemical Exaltations so if need be pseudo-Celestials can be made on demand to deal with threats Terrestrials can't.

Eh, I was just going off of the jump and what I've heard of it. To sum it up, the shards are supposed to be tools that Eden and Scion's race (can't remember what they're called) use to strengthen themselves, throwing them at some race, using having them use the powers and evolve them, before reabsorbing them once they destroy themselves. Eden kicked the bucket however, and so Scion wasn't able to continue the cycle. I know other details, but that's what I know about Shards.

>>
>>49545515
Technically got three slots in it filled out of what I need to add. Though one of those is due to moving Enhanced Mastery over to Thinker. Currently the added Thinker powers are Coil's power and I'm working on adding some variant on Dinah and Clairvoyants power, but those two are tricky to balance and I'd really prefer it if I don't just make a clumsy copy paste of canon powers. It's a lot neater when I use powers for inspiration and sort of mix and match to come up with a neat OC power with similarities.

Thanatos being a great example. I like how it mirrors the nature of Shards too in a sort of Meta way.
>>
>>49545566

>>
>>49545552
Ah, but I'm doing the exact opposite. When everyone is a Terrestrial, the existing Dragonblooded aristocracy have no room to declare themselves the princes of Creation worthy of ruling over the rest of the world. I'm going to democratize Exaltation, let everyone have access to it.

...that said. I have considered a backup plan. It involves taking the magic of the Moon Kingdom, fusing the Gulug stone from FF9 with the Moonstone from Lone Wolf through conceptual alchemies (Journey to the West, FMA, Aterlier Arland etc), before building a model of Mass Effect's Cruicible and the Relays with Supcom mass-energy converters-with Legend of Spyro's portal technology to maneuver the things. Then using FF6's Magitek Mastery to transfer Sailor Scout magic as well as Anima from FF12: Revenant Wings into large portions of the galaxy. I would use either Full Circle or a similar perk from FF:Crystal Chronicles to synchronise a planetary population's casting.

I have not attempted this plan because there are SO MANY THINGS that can go wrong with basically trying to wring out several planets' happy purifying magic and crudely shove it into the Warp.

Don't do this. It's a terrible idea from a terrible thought experiment.

Something you might find helpful for getting windows of opportunity is the power to bring about Christmas in Santa jump.

It's not going to be a smooth transition. I'm expecting at least one big fight-if not quite civil war-within the Realm in the process of reforming it. I'm going to have to wait for the other Exalted jumps to come out to figure out exactly how to play it through. The important thing in the meantime is to convince all parties involved that working as equals is prefereble to mutually assured destruction.

Yes I am basically trying to make the Under The Rose adventure module happen on a larger scale and with less collateral damage, why do you ask

I mean. I accept that EVENTUALLY the Solars will take over. I'm just trying to ensure the Realm still exists by then.

All the parts are the part with the bug-controlling girl. Aside from interludes, Taylor remains our viewpoint character throughout. Which I actually think isn't the best thing. Taylor is a fun character, but she has a lot of very strong biases to her thinking that a lot of the fandom have absorbed. She's not supposed to be a reliable narrator, but when you spend the equivalent of six full-length novels (Worm is fucking long) reading her perspective, it's easy to get taken in.

You know, I don't know why I just thought this, but the ability to infuse things with magic from FF6 is, itself, a magical ability, is it not? Ergo, you can infuse the ability to infuse magic into your victims.

It's not much against the most pervasive dangers out there though, and squats aren't a big population.

So-not much in the grand scheme of things, but I think you've got a fairly solid basis for acquiring more local support and infrastructure for future plans.

"Peacefully" is relative. I consider reforming government to the point where they consider it WORTH preserving is the more peaceful alternative to a complete overhaul, which will lead to massive losses of life with the deconstruction of ruling institutions.

See, this is the key issue-the same problem Genghis Khan had with the Mongul empire: Finding something to keep the shiny bastards' attention spans occupied with enough, so that they don't go around gallivanting and using Essence just for shits & giggles.

IIRC ol' Genghis organised a national hunting competition that was actually a way to train the empire in proto-Blitzkrig tactics AND build teamwork at the same time.

When their Essence ratings start to rise I'm considering taking down the barrier of snakes, shadows and Infrastructure I've erected around Creation-and convincing the authorities to let bored Solars do something similar to the territories of the Unshaped. Or expand Creation in the vague direction of the Shining Answer, maybe. Will have to think that one over; it's a fine balance between challenging enough to make them feel important but not risky enough to risk another apocalypse.

I think that the timeskip during Taylor's career as Weaver was a major missed opportunity. Half the series is about the couple of months she was a villain, and then we skip over two years of her as a hero. Two years in which she's remained mostly static as a character. I think there could have been some really interesting development during that time as she adapts to a new situation, but she comes out of it largely the same person she was going in. She hasn't even made many connections with the Chicago Wards, leading her to go right back to the Undersiders in the endgame. I'm not saying it's bad, but I think it could have been better.

Also, the timeskip means we see very little of the second-generation Endbringers, and those things are awesome. Even if Wildbow decided she had to remain static for the sake of the story (and an argument could be made that it makes sense given her personality to have been static), I'd still want more fights with Khonsu and Tohu wa Bohu.

Fuck if MLP wasn't gone I'd just Jump there, if there is a Jump for that, and nab some serious Friendship. My Befriending is very personal level, though I guess I could... Use the fact that one of my companions is the Wordbound of Enlightenment and I am the Wordbound of Essence to start that up along with maybe an Avacyne.

He was teaching an academy of eight hundred acolytes last I saw him, and he'd only been a Inquisitor for about three years. Even back then he was selling at something that the Emperor had gifted him, he was a bit of a big head, and that it was his Glorious Golden Radiance that allowed him to slay beings of the warp with his bare hands.

>>49545647
Fuck yeah, but you'd need Crimson Saint (Demon King) for it to work, turning the tech version over to magic,
This would be easier if MLP were a thing, then you could get all the Elements and use that shit as your bases.

If you mean THIS (http://pastebin.com/97CY6uKc), I refuse to take responsibility for it. It was all Elodie's work, as per our ancient compact. Not that anon, but I'm sure most people will agree with that sentiment. A lot of good stuff was lost because Wildbow got in a rush.
But I heard tell that he's eventually gonna do a rewrite, so maybe he'll stretch out the first part with some less intense pacing, and give us more Wards time.
And in stranger eons we may even see a sequel.
>>
>>49545884
Yeah yeah, all ponies to the pony board and all that. So we can't even make a MLP Jump or anything and thus we have to wait until someone makes a mass friendship cannon or something.

Also ASA I was a Doomsayer, so I threw down some perfectly accurate predictions of what was to happen.

Spiral Energy is sheer Willpower and Anime Force (Toon Force but for the Weeboo). Think true sheer force of will Green Lanterns who don't need super tech to do it.

From my understanding CU is baseline. You're worshipping chaos or not even caring about the gods beyond a quick Hail Mary situation. There is no CU "force" which grants a CU mark.

Daemon Primarchs & Failbaddon (also Horus) seem to be the exceptions to the rule when it comes to everything. Failbaddon & Horus don't really have the marks of the 4 CG, they gave a little bit of their essence to him. He even is quoted on saying that reason why he doesn't become a Daemon Prince because that's a step down in power.

That being said there's no reason why /JC/ have to play by 100% by the rules. Which is why Red will include CU DP, it could be fluffed that your actions to balance yourself to favor the antagonist and fickle gods as a whole, without dedicating yourself to one or another, allowed a momentary aggrement on behalf of all four to grant you DPhood.

Or maybe if Red is willing and can find way to balance things. Instead of being a CU DP, a CU Jumper will take over Abaddon's role as herald of the four and lead chaos in the next Black Crusade.

From what I recall the book itself is largely just stuff like pic about various creatures, but it's written as a text book harry had. I did read Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them when that came out but it's pretty short and there's not much to it really.

The Harry Potter jump may get an update when the movie comes out in November (assuming I see it right away) as I suspect that will probably have enough content. As it's going to be a trilogy of movies though I imagine it'd probably be better served by having its own jump but the nature of that jump really depends on what the film is like (as all we really have at the minute seems to be Eddie Redmayne running around holding a briefcase and looking confused in period gear).

One slightly weird thing is that it seems to mostly involve adult wizards in the US so you probably wouldn't be going to school again. What I'd probably do with that would be to include the schools as extra background options each with a discounted perk or something.

It also might just suck so I might not want to touch it with a 10 ft pole. Or it might be sort of like Force Awakens and nobody'll feel we have the content yet.

> return from short hiatus
And now a backstory!

So, Dhaos is from a place called Derris-Kharlan. In Tales of Symphonia (the prequel), that's the place the badguys hang out. It's a giant fucking comet/planet made of tech and magic. After the game, one of the characters takes it and flies it far into space so it can't bother people.

In Tales of Phantasia, DK loses its magic because some retards fired off the Mana Cannon, which causes the planet to start dying extremely rapidly because "made out of magic and tech" ain't hyperbole.
So Dhaos, as the king, decides to go to the planet of Aselia where it turns out there's a fresh Mana Tree that he can get a seed from to make a new Mana Tree back at DK so all his people don't fucking die.
Except it turns out he can't, because Aselia's magitech is draining too much mana to allow it to make a seed.
So Dhaos nicely asks the kingdoms of Aselia to please stop, and everyone says, "Piss off."
So Dhaos asks less nicely, and declares war.
I just spoiled the huge twist at the end of the game for you.

Anyway, as for me, it turns out that Derris-Kharlan still had records of Symphonia? Including this jackass elf who was blowing shit up and stealing magitech, like the plans to the Mana Cannon.
It also turns out she's ALSO an impressive font of magic. Or more specifically, her heart is.

It was like Dhaos just met his version of Hitler. And it turns out killing him and harvesting his organs can save the lives of all the dying babies.
>>
>>49544803
Wait, it does? I just always spent my time fucking off. I had no idea I was supposed to fix anything.
>>
>>49547587

Not them, but there's some stuff that could imply it. In particular two things.

1. The location roles have you and your partner meet under the exact same conditions as the protagonist and their partner, and going through the exact same starting events.

2. The 'Endgame' section has

>The next ten years will be spent in this world. The main story as well as the postgame will take up the first year, the rest can be spent at your leisure.

Which could imply you're going to end up dealing with the plot.

This combined with the first part could imply you took the protagonists place, but it could also just be a coincidence.

After all theirs probably more than one Caterpie in trouble, it's unlikely theirs only one nervous pokemon, and the last location technically just has you traveling through the same area.

Based on all the feedback I've gotten this is the new symbiote builder and probably what we will see in the WiP unless I get some feedback that alters it. For context a smybiote costs 300cp to start and super powers section will have an extra 400cp like the YJ jump (If I am not stepping on YJ Anons-toes using that mechanic).

Of course as much as I love symbiotes I do intend to make you all torn over some of the other options in this jump, although thats a pretty ambitious statement as some people would probably pick one even if nerfed. But I hope people will give more advice as I get the powers section out there.
>>
>>49547954

True. Although on a side note if you rolled Post Town there is a chance you might end up at least semi forced into the plot.

Mostly since theirs a group going around attacking humans turned into pokemon to send them back to the 'human world', and if they can tell you were human you would be one of the last two targets.

Oh geeze. What did I even do in Symphonia? I dunno anything about Symphonia. I'm pretty sure an apocalypse was happening for fairly stupid reasons. I'm DEFINITELY sure I was way on board with the whole souless immortal soultech stuff at the time, though.

And I'm not quite sure how THAT ended, but going by what Konata said it's probably a big reason why I'm public enemy number #1.

So I'm just going to sit down.

Pack up my things.

And leave the countries by way of library and mirror, looking for this Dhaos fellow.

I'll give him a big ol' Seed of Wonder (two parts mana, one part magicka): Enough magic to keep a planet ticking over indefinitely.

"...forever?"

"Give or take a predatory universe. I don't think you have those here"

"Predatory w-I mean, thank you! Thank you, do you realise what you've just done?!"

"Yep. Now get out of the way. I'm going to destroy the nations of this world"

Symbiotes have a lot more weaknesses than just fire and sound (also electricity for example), before you had the perk either give a blanket resistance to all their weaknesses or the complete removal of one weakness.

Since a symbiote with a perfect host has a resistance to those weaknesses as standard you were going to make it so that buying it just made yours immune to them.

As it stands you can only get rid of two weaknesses and even if all of them were purchasable it would cost more than the starting budget to get a baseline symbiotic that doesn't open up permanent weaknesses in any jumper who wants to actually use it.
>>
>>49548328

Yes but if you look at the description I give the resistance part for free for being a perfect host.

>Weakness Immunity (200cp): For one purchase of this power you may remove a symbiotes weakness. This does not make the symbiote any tougher, but will remove the negative effects of being exposed to their weakness. You may purchase this multiple times.

It's been many, many milennia and I still have no idea what I'm doing here. My soul appears to be slightly shinier than usual. That's new.

I feel really out of place. I tend to do whenever I get one of these purity perks right after tearing apart a few civilisations. I mean, yes I only hit the government centers and warped causality to avoid civilian casualties but that was only to increase the aggregate suffering by forcing them to live with the consequences of magic depletion. Building a civilisation from scratch is going to work up a real sweat, I'll bet.

Anyway. Uh. Gonna go ahead and shove that Life Force thing into the Warehouse for a while, I guess? Also gonig to do science to my hat. See how it responds to other living hats I imported from Polythreme ages ago. See if wearing hats on top of my curren living hat makes THAT hat come alive or not. Debate the existential ego death with my current living hat based on the question of whether its' memories stay after I put it on and take it off a few times. Endure annoying hat puns.

I also understand that this Vaati is not Vidya, but for lack of familiarity here I'm just going to quote Dark Souls lore at him for no good reason.

It is still to expensive for something that's almost mandatory for anyone who wants use a symbiote long term. With just heat, sound, and electricity that is 600 points to have keep the symbiote from being a liability.

It costs 900 CP to get a symbiote that doesn't have fatal defects and no features beyond the base line abilities. That is assuming they don't have any other weaknesses that have yet to be shown. 950 since web slinging is a basic ability and that isn't included.

I was REALLY miffed at the time, but in hindsight I feel like it was what happened with Malefor all over again after the Smiler Incident. In all fairness I warned him not to be in New York after I rigged all those diarrhea bombs.

Oh, and it's this thing. New ones apparently spawn from the corpses of Old Ones (see: the Deeper Well) when the presence of a powerful native magic user so I went down there to raid some tombs, desecrate the dead and clone eldritch demon flesh in the name of SCIENCE! And Glory gave me tips.

Thing still needs a massive amount of magical energy to charge up faster than a thousand years, though.

Not that anon, but might I suggest making it a blanket immunity and perhaps bumping up the price a bit if you feel that's over powered? Symbiotes are wierd and inconsistent regarding thier weaknesses, the way you're doing it right now requires the jumper to have an understanding of how their weaknesses work in a specific setting where they don't seem to follow the mainstream version of symbiotes.

For example I'm half way through the current season and they have yet to display a weakness to heat/fire. What am I supposed to do? Buy a immunity to a weakness they haven't shown to have at all? Or not buy it and hope I don't get a nasty supprise when I try to use my fire powers?

Status Report, day one.

Spent three hours looking through every nook and cranny of my drive looking for the WIP I made months ago.

Co-author responded with minimal poking - and its not even christmas yet. Sadly, he has had no inspiration for it since the last time we worked on it.

Reviewed WIP. Was amazed as shitness. Rewriting most perk descriptions and adding a busload of items.

ETA, soon. Ish.

>>
>>49549224
That sounds fine and I do agree the show is inconsistent. Although I was considering simply removing the perk, give you blanket reaistance and remove all weaknesses after the jump like vampires usaully get.which do you pefere?
>>
>>49548828
Missed that. Thanks.
>>
>>49549392
The standard perfect match resistance during the jump and removing the weaknesses afterwards sounds like the best bet.

We probably should have to deal with the weaknesses in jump but keeping them forever wouldn't be a good idea.
>>
>>49549392
Dropping the perk and having the weaknesses go away post jump seems like a good idea, not having to deal with the weaknesses at all would feel a little bit wrong and having them stick around forever unless you buy a certain perk sounds even worse.
>>
>>49549392
Either way might I suggest replacing fire with electricity when mentioning their weaknesses? They show that weakness a lot more often and I'm not even sure the show's symbiotes have the fire weakness.

Three decades of Pokemon with one bout of Infamous in between there, this is... almost a relief. Were it not for the shithole that Dunwall was, at any rate. It's also a primed example of how me going into a setting I like also will make me slightly greedy.

I mean come on. A sick tattoo, the ability to temporarily pause time, teleportation, Darksight, AND being more healthy with being faster? Though admittedly this time around since it's so fucking early, I ended up dropping the ability to let me work on Whale Oil, as I didn't see myself being capable of doing much with that. I dunno.

See, that's the problem with making materia out of stuff from other worlds.
You basically have to make shit up.
Probably something neat?

Going by materia, I would imagine they allow for activation of her techniques, although it's also possible they're just tightly condensed balls of chakra or soulstuff in a physical form.
I don't actually use them for anything. They're just sitting in my warehouse in a pile.

>>49549915
... you mean the eyes? They're eyes.
Eyes from Naruto are plug'n'play. There is no blood involved.
Granted, they suck chakra like a motherfuck. That's the inherent drawback of stealing someone's eyes. They are extremely chakra intensive. That's why Kakashi gets tired after literally every battle. It's not that he has shit stamina, it's that his primary gimmick is basically spamming high cost magic.
I couldn't really do much that utilized chakra while I had them. Basically crippled my jutsu capability in order to flip Obito the middle finger and look totally awesome.
Worth it.

They don't really do anything else, I don't think, other than copy techniques and act as plot keys for the Ten Tails.
I could do the former, but chakra drain made it pretty impractical.
I never did the latter. Although, hypothetically, I could still, since the body is still sitting in the warehouse.
I'd have to find something to fill in for the rest of the chakra the Akatsuki didn't steal, though.
Too much trouble.
>>
>>49549876
The Sharingan is a watered down Rinnegan and the Rinnegan is Hagoromo's eyes. You only get it if you merge the chakra/genes of both the Senju and the Uchiha clans to reunite Hagoromo's lineage. That's all completely pointless if you bought the Rinnegan in-jump, of course, because then you're literally the sole existing inheritor of the Sage of Six Paths' power and legacy. You don't need the whole Yin/Yang chakra bullshit because you've got all of his potential power already, you just have to train to reach Hagoromo's level. What the Six Paths Sage Mode does is basically power you up by essentially giving you a chakra power-up. Asura/Indra power is exclusive to Naruto and Sasuke because they're reincarnations of those two people; they always had that power inside of them, Hagoromo just unlocked all of it and gave them some additional oomph to help fight Kaguya.

If you've already naturally inherited the Rinnegan you could theoretically get Six Paths Sage Mode naturally by just learning Sage Mode normally.

>not posting best run
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aScm5tFo0hs

>>49549976
It honestly depends. As the two videos show, a competent person can really get up to some horrible bullshit. It's a matter of finding the right powers and gear for you, and once you're dialed in there's nothing that can stop you. But that also takes a bunch of skill.

It's also admittedly far harder to do a Dishonored Run with Low Chaos, especially if you're going Ghost/Clean Hands... meaning you can't kill a single person and no enemy is allowed to see you, which is kind of what I'm going for. That's much harder but considering the set-up I've got and the fact that I'd be blatantly working with Corvo to help him out (Yaaaay for playing the game and remembering it fondly), the blow should be somewhat lessened. The perks I got from earlier should help out too.

tl;dr don't be a cock-up and git gud.

I've got Sage of Six Paths Mode and have stolen some seriously awesome shit over the forty years. With all the movies, filler, and such actively running I got medical techniques for aspecting a persons chakra to one of the Elements, the weird not-chakra crystals, a flying ship which I replaced the no-tailed beast with some other stuff, Chimera no Jutsu, the secrets behind Snow Nin Chakra Armor, the secrets behind the chakra weapons produced by the Village of Artisans, a way to use puppetry on a city level without the need to concentrate, some soul hacking stuff, Menma Uzumaki's Spiraling Ring and Great Spiraling Ring (Road to Ninja is by the canon of a filler episode, which were canon in my run, an alternate dimension), and Adamantine Sealing Chains (Uzumaki Bloodline is awesome for plot reason and these things can tie down the fucking Nine Tails at full power, though he could struggle) off the top of my head.
By the end of my time there I had a Shar-Rinne-Teseigan, twas strange.

>>49550153
Fanfiction is actually your friend in this instance. Also if that's not your game you could always find eight or nine people to attach to a chakra tether, it's something Medic Nins do basically donating Chakra to someone else. Naruto also has a bastardized version later in life where he can pass Nine Tails Chakra around without drawbacks like it's nothing.
Or you do like me and seal a beast or demon into your body for that sweet not really but totally a container. Seriously I sealed both the No Tailed Beast and Mōryō into myself.

No idea, I'm not the one who wrote the jump. I specifically stuck to the Outsider dialogue when asked.

But honestly? In my opinion, and this is ONLY my opinion, you'd probably have to buy Whirlwind, Shadow Walker, And Then There Were None, along with Roof Hopping and a few Stronger Soul perks. That SHOULD get you to that level of bullshit.

Rune Powers... Blink II, Devouring Swarm II, Possession II, and probably Agility II. Can't really afford Wind Blast but he doesn't seem to use that as much, the other powers are that player's mainstay. Bone Charms, he seems to have Fleet Fighter and Blood Ox Heart, and I'm willing to bet he's got Arcane Assassin: Void Channel and Acrobat too. Though as a Jumper, picking up Void Surge would be a tremendous boon.

You'd probably have to take some drawbacks, but... honestly if you're planning to slaughter everyone ever anyway, that's just more targets in the end.

>No Rinnegan I see.
Rinnegan is for when I splice my DNA with Senju genes donated by Yuno. With all the perks I have on DNA manipulation (Street Sharks/Geneforge/Etc.) and the sheer amount of research the ninja have already done into them if you know where to look I was able to pull some terrifying shit out and splice it into myself.
Shar-Rinne-Tenseigan was when I spliced all three bloodlines together into a whole that might even surpass the Sage's own eyes, though I'm not sure how they stand up to Moon Bunnies perfect chakra awareness.
Basically I have four stable bloodlines thanks to Chimera no Jutsu.

He's not talking about "power" in the traditional sense. Daemon Princes can't interact with the Materium as easily as Humans/Space Marines can, Abbadon wants to be able to Rule, he couldn't do that if he became a Daemon Prince.

Aaaaand no. If everyone else gets DP options, CU is also going to get one. None of that 'Deadlight' stuff.

>>49546272
Funny enough, a lot of the CU perks were gonna be based off of that idea. The idea of worshiping Chaos as a whole, and they'd get a bunch of unique things to reflect that. A lot of faith things, Daemonic bargaining/manifesting minor traits, things to gain power from faith, etc. You know, little things from wholly embracing it.

>What did you exactly choose as your Chimera No Jutsu bloodlines because it only lets you contain 5 methinks.
I have four: my Shar-Rinne-Teiseigan as one single streamlined dojutsu, Explosive Release, Wood Release, and the Kurama Genjutsu Bloodline.

>And your body has to be hollow inside I believe.
Surgery was needed yeah. Your body is only hollow until you fill it with the target who bears the bloodline. I cloned Yuno and ate the clone etc. etc.

>There was something about special event ascending you somewhat but I can't remember
The ritual in question is needed if you want a fifth bloodline. I have what I want so I didn't have to do the ritual.

Tentative Anima update.

Changelog:
Added a few general perks, notable ones are Grandmaster, so people can be a grandmaster of style (and other things, I guess), and Mighty because people wanted to be a higher level, so, uh, here you go. Also, notes were slightly expanded. Those are getting /really/ long.
Added Scenarios, which would feel OP if it weren't for the fact that they're mostly just, "That thing you looted now acts as if you paid for it with CP."

He took the drawback that makes all the movies canon. One of them has a villain named Hiruko who is basically what Orochimaru wants to be when he grows up. His "Chimera Technique" lets him combine and alter biology with incredible ease, even absorbing the bloodlines of others. Unfortunately for Hiruko, and fortunately for the protagonists, he decided to absorb some really shit bloodlines. I mean, Swift Release? That's not a real thing, Hiruko. You got scammed.

-Elven Enchantment (50CP) (Discount) -So not only do I forge amazingly, but I can enchant my gear, too? HELL TO THE YES.
-Money (0CP) -Even in the medieval times, coin is required.
-Lembas Bread (Free) -Learning to make Lembas Bread will be a godsend if I have to pack minor snacks.
Dice Rolls: Free Pick (Rivendell), 280 years old

DUUUUN, DUN DUN DUUUUN, DUN DUN DUUUUUN.

Seriously, every time someone even mentions LOTR anymore I instinctively hum the theme song to myself. It's a habit, it's ingrained by now. So I'll probably drive myself crazy during this run. But got rid of the cloak, wanting no drawbacks for this.

Yet I'm still something of an outlier I think. I mean, elves aren't really one for dwarven crafting? Yet I still got it because I want to mix it with Elven Enchanting, in order to really, REALLY make some kickass things. Yet their swords have to come from somewhere...?

I'm probably just giddy enough that I'm gorgeous as fuck while being able to create new wondrously kickass things. Seriously, HALF of my time is likely going to be spent trying to design a really, really cool set of armor.

When it says that Omega becomes immune to a certain special ability, what does that mean? Does it mean he will no longer be affected by a fireball spell, or does it mean he's completely immune to any spell from the magic system that casted that fireball? In the case of the former, would it only be the fireball spell from that particular magic system, or all fireball spells from all magic systems in a Jumper's possession?
>>
>>49551732
Fireball spell, and only from that particular magic system. It's a canon ability of his, but if you fireball him then follow up by using pyrokinesis then a fire based Ki dominion technique, all three of them will work.

So experience in Anima seems to be mostly doled out through fighting. Is this just a gameplay mechanic or is there some kind of suggested range for how long it is supposed to take to level up? For instance, would going from level 1 to 10-15 without training/learning perks be achievable within a decade? More?
>>
>>49551788
Fucker is also goddamn level 16. That bastard.

>>49551810
Anima actually has a good amount of XP come from Roleplay, fighting's actually only like, what, 30% in my experience?
Generally speaking, in a session I run:
5-10 will come from a fight.
10 will come from RP.
10 from time (you get 1-3 per hour of gameplay, which I found to be a uniquely amusing mechanic).

That being said: It doesn't exactly give a general timeframe for how long it should take to level up. I don't think any system I've encountered other than GURPS does, to be honest. That being said, the game's "world powers" hang around level 14-16, so... probably a while, although Gnosis /might/ have a side effect of increasing your rate, since Elizibetta, the Empress, is like, level 7 despite being a teenager, and her whole shtick is "I have a stupid amount of Gnosis."

I'm not really sure where I was going with that. Anyway, /point/ is that it'll probably take a while.
>>
>>49551141
>Dedicated Sheele perk
Seems kinda unnecessary considering it's part of the magic/summoning system... but at the same time, from the way its written, these don't seem to need Zeon to keep around? Is stuff like Soul Form still available even if it's unlisted?

I went Mage instead of Warrior specifically because I wanted soul-fairies to punch people with, so this might change things.
>>
>>49551897
Question, about how powerful is Powerful Soul stat number wise?
>>
>>49551962
I honestly added it simply so people other than summoners could have soul-fairies to punch things, since you can bind them for others if you want. And yeah, no Zeon cost if you pay the CP.

>>49551965
Um... I recall making a judgement on this earlier, so go with that if you find it and it contradicts this one, but I believe I'd declared it to be 13?
