Posting the new art from the new "Angel's Blade" campaign narrative book.
While the previous "Traitor's Hate" was the traitors PoV, this one is about the Blood Angels PoV of the war.
For some reason "Angel's Blade" has more than twice the new art of "Traitor's Blade". Is this a sign of bias?
With a heavy heart, Dante sent the companies who survived "Shield of Baal" war to go to the Diamor System to stop the Black Legion there. Only Dante and his honour guard returned to Baal to prepare it for the arrival of the Tyranids.
With the Blood Angels scattered across the galaxy, weeks and months away from their home system, are the Blood Angels screwed?
The companies were ravaged by Chaos sorcery and Kharn's hordes. Even if they returned in time, they wouldn't be at top shape

Blood angels got plot armor.
They're not fucked.

Stormcast Eternals? Fuck yeah!
Sanguinor shooting a lazor from sword that pierces the Lord of Skulls and sends it toppled to the ground in ruin.
Has 40K gone full ANIME?!
Yet more badass art to enforce my love of the blood angels.
Thanks OP.
So in the book, the Sanguinor radiance was burning daemons and driving back the corruption of Chaos.
Who or what is the Sanguinor?
>>49389890
And that's all the new art from the new book. What do you think of this offering?
Not bad bit of arts, far better than the Space Wolf ones, even if >>49389909 and >>49389968 look damn near identical
>>49389720
There is no plot armour in the End Times.
>>49389968
i like the wide landscape ones.

Not only did they steal the Raptor's talon and do it better, they also have better depictions of Chaos space marines than traitors hate did
TH art was just reprinted shit we've seen a million times
>>49389968
GeeDabya really dropped the quality of art.
>>49389968
For the love of God, tell me this isn't official and you picked it off of deviantart. Please.

What's wrong with it?
The Admech Magos character got his head chopped off by Kharn in Traitor's Hand.
It was revealed that after he died, a data storage on his home forgeworld activated and imported his brain scans and memories inside a new body. He lives on and he can continue his research.
Since when can the Admech do this?
>>49391326
since now
So what's next after this? Any new rumours?
>>49389968
not horrible
not great
the best one is probably >>49389768

That's from GW you fuckwit, some dude just recolored it.
>The Blood Angels are amongst the noblest heroes of the Imperium, selfless defenders of the Emperor’s realm. Even amongst the Space Marines, the strength and courage of this Chapter is the stuff of legend. From the feral border worlds of the Arnax Cluster to the towering shrine-spires of Glorium, there are tales told of the Blood Angels, how they came from the skies and saved the Emperor’s servants with their terrible wrath.
>Not for the Blood Angels the calculated casualty ratios of the Iron Hands, or the secretive agendas of the Dark Angels. To these glorious golden warriors, no Imperial life is expendable. The honour rolls of their Chapter are replete with tales of Blood Angels who sacrificed themselves in order that evil might be punished or others saved in their stead. To the wider Imperium, the Blood Angels are saintly, if fearsome, figures – the embodiment of everything the Adeptus Astartes were created to be.
Did the Blood Angels steal the Salamanders' shtick?
>>49393736
no? If anything it was the salamanders who stole the blood angels shtick.
The blood angels are all about supremely noble heroes. It's why the black rage is so tragic.

It's been like this for, what? Three years?
>The First Captain, initially angry at the Magos’ imperious summons, had become serious and engaged as Ivasnophon revealed the nature of the technology that he sought upon Amethal. It was an ancient prize, something made by those who ruled the galaxy long before the first Terran life forms emerged from the primordial ooze. Other examples of its sort had been found across the galaxy from time to time, hints at an incredibly potent weapon against the powers of Chaos. Ivasnophon specialised in the location, excavation and imitation of such archeotechnological treasures. For centuries he had been following a tenuous trail of clues towards this, his greatest find. Amethal was not a planet, he explained, but rather a skin of rock and biosphere stretched as camouflage over an ancient cage. Vast beyond belief, wreathed in arcane wards and dark technologies, it was a prison-eternal for daemonic entities. It was the Magos Dominus’ belief that the Amethal Cage contained hellish beings beyond count, trapped for millennia behind warded bars. Why the ancients had sought to isolate these creatures from the Warp was a mystery lost to the mists of time, but the Magos was certain they had succeeded. Captain Karlaen was horrified at this revelation, for if that were true, then the empyric inmates of this world represented a dreadful danger to the defences around the Cadian Gate. At the same time, he was not slow to grasp Ivasnophon’s purpose on this world. Building upon his countless decades of study and experimentation, the Magos Dominus was at last nearly able to replicate the technologies of the Daemon cage. He was weeks, months at most, from creating – and then mass producing-devices that could cage Daemons on a vast scale. Though not a permanent solution to the daemonic threat, such devices might end daemonic incursions as soon as they began, and thus turn the tide in the war for the Cadian Gate.
Any idea who built this thing?
karl kopinski and adrian smith comeback WHEN
the OP image is fantastic tho
anything that fucks the lore is it a decent book?

40k used to have a large community on that site

From a Chaos marine?
>>49389811
Will the Sanguinor get a new ranged attck?
Less talking, more death company.
So, what happens to Kharn and friends?
I know the Crimson Slaughter steal Abaddon's ships and get the fuck out of Dodge, but what about the Khornates?
>>49389968
>all the art these days is whiney and clean
Goddammit I want my plack and white grimdark inkings back.
Abaddon orders the Chaos Sorcerer Lord to teleport Kharn aboard one of the Black Legion ships (much to their misery).
The rest of the Khornates were left behind to fight and die to the end.

>inb4 Lamenters get fucked over again because they couldn't return to Baal in time.
>probably not even dead, just getting dicked over by fate yet again
>probably will show up late and get blamed for the nids attacking Baal or whatever the fuck is going on
