What are some creative ways a character can abuse /v/ style post hit invincibility and how do you make it balanced for the party to fight or use? Asking entirely from a lore stand point here.

> Lore standpoint.
The God governing lifeforce can only process so many alterations at once. With the massive amount of conflict going on at a time, time is needed to process and "apply" damage after attacks. Invincibility frames are the period of time where the damage is being applied, and the God is diverting its attention to someone else to repeat the process with them.

Mutants and Masterminds.

First post best post.
If you're gonna put iframes, are you also putting infinite spawning minions?

Only from certain spawn points. Like random vans in the middle of the street making infinite thugs.

Can you first define "/v/ style post hit invincibility?"

You get hit
Your character blinks for a moment
He cannot be hit during that time
Like in Super Mario for example.

>abuse /v/ style post hit invincibility
He has two devices: One which does the smallest possible amount of damage needed to trigger the iframes to himself at intervals equivalent to their duration, and another which heals him of this damage at the same rate/faster than the first inflicts it. As long as he has both devices, the way to hurt him is to sneak in an attack between the iframes wearing off and his device hitting him again.

When he takes "1 heart of damage/10% health damage/any damage whatsoever" he blinks out of existence for a while, preventing any further attacks in the same round of combat.
In order to kill him, have a very strong attack and make it count, verily.
For PC usage, if the character gets damaged in this round, the next attack made against him in the same round will miss regardless of roll. Any other attacks made in that round will connect normally. So, get hit, get iframes, get hit again, no iframes.
