I think that it's important for people to have some incentive to RP. It just makes the game better.

Anyway, The basic concept behind this map is much the same as version 1, just expanded upon. Now, instead of set empires and kingdoms and whatnot, People can name and create their own, and I if I can find a way to do it right, I might even let them choose their own bonus ability. That part's still very early in development.

Yup. In fact, you don't start the game with a country name at all, just your leader's name and his title. You name your country when you fill a duchy. It's fully customization.

Duchies are the regions marked off by thicker black lines. Their borders are pretty clear when there's color.
