That's a fair point, but its going to be messy to adjudicate and I don't feel like writing that into the rules.

>>49229980
Mm, I totally forgot about the Witch class. Even so, they get their spells in a way that's decidedly different from the thematics of the spellburst savant, and the magpie mage archetype exists to make someone who poaches more spells doable.

Out of curiosity, is there some concept you're specifically looking for here, or just an alternate list? I would just consider asking your DM to allow a different list if it's for a game. After all, this is just a particularly fancy homebrew.

Nonetheless, there's some room for some ACFs as a result in a necessary layout shift when trying to add /one/ ACF, so I'm going to add some new stuff. Might do something for witchcraft.

In-particular, the concept I was thinking of was a character that steadily gains power from their god's divine portfolio; less width, more depth. A Divine Spellburst Savant wouldn't learn how to Gate in Solar Devas or Raise Dead, but could instead focus on their deity's domain over farmland and safety and expand upon it greatly; Maximized Catastrophic Plant Growth, for instance.

Hmm. Yeah, I think that that's something I would not want to use the base chassis of this class for. Might just be personal preference, but I would do very different things with a concept like that than I did with the spellburst savant, and it's not in the cards for this particular homebrew.

Sorry.

I think combining it with inquisitive detective could be very powerful, but at the same time, I think I'm okay with it since normal mutagen would allow them much more attack buffs, and also add to damage more.

You slowly awaken, blinking back tears, your head throbbing with pain. You can't remember what you were doing, but as your eyes slowly adjust to the dim light, you realize you are in a 10 foot by 10 foot room, and in the middle of the room stands an orc with a pie.

What do you do?

Years of training have guided me towards this exact moment. I rush for the orc "No don't, that pie is a mimic!" I try to warn as I roll to slap the insidious monster from his hand.

I had tangled with this monster in the past, and now it had brought me here simply to taunt me to watch as it devours another victim before my eyes.

>how does your character spend their free time?

Depends on the character.

>Human Brawler
Keeping himself in good shape for his tour of the fight circuts - but he never forgets to treat himself, either. His options are somewhat limited by his image as a 'face' and his own nature, but he does show quite some appreciation for the theater.

>Sylph Sorceress
Lazy bum just sits around and either sleeps or daydreams.

>Human Oracle
Trying to encourage the development of her son's as-yet-nonexistent love life. It isn't working.

>Halfling Gunslinger
Depends on what's available, but she does play a mean guitar.

>Dwarf Invulnerable Rager
Not much. She doesn't really have an idea of 'fun.'

>Agathion-Blooded Aasimar Oracle
Cooking, baking, and basket-weaving. Her hobbies are almost boringly innocent.

>Angel-Blooded Aasimar Chosen One Paladin
Prayers to Iomedae, mostly.

>Gnome Spiritualist
Talking to herself (actually her Phantom), and whatever else she /can/ do for fun on a prison ship.

>Human Devolutionist Druid that I haven't built yet
Seeking out the downtrodden, malcontent, and purposeless. From NEETS to villains, those who cannot find a good cause in life need someone to show some mercy. Some compassion. A second chance.

is there a way for my Halfling Druid to be an improvised weapon of its animal companion? I wish for my Druid to be used as a throwing weapon at the beginning of battle, and to easily close into melee range by doing so (gm wont allow fleet of foot). What's the optimal way to go about this? If I get a companion to have an INT of 3 I can give it the command to throw me, but I'm not sure which animal would best fit this role, and how to minimize the damage I take by being thrown as a weapon. Also, how I would calculate the damage I would do. I imagine a pointed helm would be great, but it obviously can't be metallic.

Question - how would you go about seducing an Illithid?

In the current campaign, I'm playing a kind of seductress Inquisitor and there's an NPC that I think is an Illithid (they're those octopus headed things, right?) in disguise, but I haven't been able to prove it yet. It doesn't really work. They don't reproduce sexually, they do so by placing a tadpole into your brain and letting it mutate you into one of them.

So, /pfg/, I decided to allow PoW in my game for the first time. Only one player took me up on it, but they're doing so in what appears to be a pretty powerful way.

Basically, the warder spends at least half of her time as a buff-bot, using the Encouraging Roar maneuver to give all allies +2 to attack and damage rolls, then using her standard to regain that maneuver.

What do you think? Overpowered? Balanced? I'm not going to take it away, since the party enjoys it and that's what matters. Still, that damage increase on the alchemist's bombs is potent at level 1 and 2.
>>
>>49230687

Maybe not attractiveness, but yes, having tits is key to bustiness.
>>
>>49233047
Sounds like we need to bust your preconceived notions.
>>
>>49233019
The warder was kinda dumb; if they'd taken the community-minded trait that 1rd roar would become three rounds, which is a pretty damn nice buff.

PoW is naturally more powerful than the majority of the older martials: It's not so different in damage; martials can always do good damage, but it offers all sorts of extras like what you've experienced WITHOUT murdering the damage - which is what tended to happen before PoW. You'd be paying very very heavily for becoming a "hybrid damage/anythingelse" whereas full casters were multiple things at once all just as good.

What's the rest of the party?

So she's using her full round to give the party a +2 on attack and damage? You realize a bard can give a +1 with a free action to maintain right? Considering what else she could be doing, that's underpowered.

Grand Sword.jpg
83KB, 477x700px
So I'm running a campaign using the Automatic Bonus Progression and allowing very few items, none of which provide numeric bonuses but can cover utility and maybe make more interesting combat options.

One idea I'm pondering is a giant sword, probably the Fullblade from 3.5, that is automatically used as if with the best version of Vital Strike the wielder's BAB would allow. This effect is innate to the sword rather than any type of action, so it works on a charge, spring attack, power attack or cleave. Does this seem like a decent item if it's intended as the only magic weapon a PC is likely to get?

For comparison, I'm also planning a flaming sword that sets targets on fire with a stacking 1d6 fire damage per hit
>>
Reasonably speaking, are there any spells in the Druid or Witch spell lists to justify taking Expanded Spell Kenning as a Skald?

Because I haven't actually taken Weapon Focus: Greataxe and it's the only feat in the progression that I can see as worth trading out.

As it is, the spell I see myself using the most that I don't already have is Greater Magic Weapon
>>
>>49233019
Let me get this straight. Your player is sacrificing half of his combat actions actions to give out a bonus that's about twice as good as what a bard would give without sacrificing any actions?

A bard gives out a +1 attack and damage bonus every round without giving up actions. Your player is giving out a +2/+2 bonus every other round but sacrificing an action to do so.

I've seen problems with Path of War but it escapes me how what you're describing is problematic.
>>
>>49233193
the flaming sword is still stronger because you can add 1d6 to as many attacks as you make rather than adding vital strike to a single one.

It takes gargantuan weapon level damage or greater in order to start getting good mileage out of more weapon dice.

Basically the problem has always been as such:

>Greater Vital Strike: 2d6 = 8d6+18(str)+18(PA)+5(Ench)+1d6flaming

>Full Attack: 4~5x 2d6+18(str)+18(PA)+5(Ench)+1d6flaming
>>
>>49233282
Fullblade would be a 2d8 weapon, with two size increases you could feasibly get 4d8, which would get you up to 16d8 with the highest vital strike. That's still only 72 weapon dice damage though at BAB 16, though.
>>
>>49233269
Remember that these increases aren't exactly linear. A weapon that adds +1 to your attacks is worth ~2000 gold. One that adds +2 is 8000. When the party has AoE attacks that fall under it, as well as high-AC enemies, it could have a lot of value.
>>
>>49233336
Right, but how do you measure the value of a potential action? The gold that's put into it?
>>
>>49233282
>>49233316
So it needs a slight boost to keep up then. Though the fire sword does have to deal with resistances and like Bleed the DoT isn't going to matter for a super long time.

Still, would it be enough to say that all the wielder's numeric bonuses from Strength, Specialization, APB, etc. are multiplied as many times as the weapon dice? Or should I add in an expanded crit range too?
>>
>>49233371
I suppose damagewise, the warder could be doing 2d6, or about 7 damage per turn, if they hit (Small longbow + piercing ray stance), if they hit. With the encouraging roar, they're making their allies more likely to hit, and generally providing a similar amount of damage. Significantly more if the alchemist drops a bomb.

I guess the real value comes in how many more misses turn into hits with that +2 compared to a +1, and I just don't feel like trying to get the statistics on that.
>>
>>49233336
Right, but remember that's +2 one round and +0 the next round. I'd rather have +1 every round than something more random like that.

Really, a bard gets to give out a +1 attack and damage buff every round and still get his actions.

Your player is giving out a total of +2 attack and +2, but this is spread over 2 rounds (for a total of +1 attack and +1 damage per round).

Literally it's the same bonus a bard gives out, but your player is sacrificing half of his actions to do it.
>>
So are all the current Roll20 LFG's bad, or can you vouch for one or two?

I need a group!
>>
What's the best way to build an unarmed dread?

I'm aiming for as many attacks as possible to apply devastating touch (we're still low level, and likely will be for a while), but Monk just kills my AC. The MAD is way too strong to keep up Wisdom and Dex for AC, Cha for psionics/fear, Strength for attack/damage and Con for health.

What's the recommended way to get Improved Unarmed Strike and multiple attacks without relying on wisdom/going without armor? (without dipping too far)
>>
So how does damage against an adamantine construct work with a weapon made of adamantine?
>>
>>49233790
Does it have DR or Hardness?

If it has DR, nothing special.

If it has Hardness, it ignores the first 20 points.
>>
>>49230464
You do. It's part of the basic rules for polymorph spells in general. You always get all the natural attacks of whatever creature you're assuming the form of; this is true for Monstrous Physique, Beast Shape, and even Undead Anatomy (which is the wonkiest of all polymorph spells).
>>
Does the extra hit points given to undead created in the area of a Desecrate spell last until it leaves the area or the spell duration ends, or is it permanent? If it is permanent, is there any official source I can show my DM?
>>
>>49233790
What's their hardness?

>>49233823
Nope, it doesn't ignore the first 20 points. It ignores hardness less than 20. As soon as something has 20 hardness adamantine weapons do jack.
>>
>>49233823
>>49233851
I probably should reiterate that. What I meant with the question was whether making a construct monster (ie Clockwork Soldier) out of adamantine would affect its DR or something.

Can you even give construct monsters hardness?
>>
>>49233902
Anything can have hardness, it's just very difficult to obtain for most non objects.
>>
>>49233564
You're misunderstanding. It's +2 every round. They use the maneuver, then use their standard to regain the maneuver for next round. It's only a full round to regain all maneuvers.
>>
>>49234227
Dude, my standard is a boost-laden Strike. With a Move action, I give every ally in 30ft an increasingly fat set of buffs. In a few levels, I'll also have an additional new kind of buff I can stack atop that fired off as part of activating a strike, and later still also as part (separately) of activating my boost. That +2 every round is nothing compared to my buffs and I still fucking get my main actions.

That's just mystic>animus adept. A warder as a buffer is a waste of half the warder's capabilities, and is in no way problematic. a GOOD warder is looking at a couple of levels in and thinking to himself "I will counter everything against everyone in 60ft all fucking round X/day"
>>
>>49234280
Keep in mind that only one in ten pathfinder groups will get past level 4.
>>
So I'm setting up a campaign and there are two players that I have a bit of a problem with.

They think that Pathfinder's Occult Adventures content is overpowered.

So if anyone has any ideas for what kind of OA-related shit I can throw at them to show how it isn't overpowered, that'd be great.

Setting's Golarion's Mana Wastes, going to be running a module as part of the campaign.
>>
>>49234377

>>

>They think that Pathfinder's Occult Adventures content is overpowered.
>So if anyone has any ideas for what kind of OA-related shit I can throw at them to show how it isn't overpowered, that'd be great.

You need to get THEM to tell you why they think it's overpowered. Otherwise there's nothing you can do to correct them.

> Detractor A has a bit of history with his previous group (I learned this from a friend of his) where they had a power-gamer that always played Psionics (3.5e) and was an in-general asshat. That aside, A's favorite argument is to state that "using Psionics is like using Path of War, it's going to be fun for the players using it, and only those players. The other players might as well go fuck themselves."

>Detractor B's just an asshole that always argues with me, still hasn't given a real argument other than echoing anything A says.
>>
>>49234521
Which is really, really disappointing because A's actually a pretty cool guy and one of my favorites in our group.

His personal bias against Psionics because of 3.5 is the only problem.
>>

>>
>>49238165
The nice thing about using Arcane points to give it special abilities is that you don't have to chose now. Yu can choose when you are dealing with a monster. Because if said monster is vulnerable to fire, you give it flaming. If it is vulnerable to cold you give it front. If it's undead or a construct or an outsider, you give it keen to do more potential damage and get through damage reduction.

That's what you use arcane points for.

>>

>>

Don't buy anything, combat is assumed to be happening on a grid to allow for the wizard to optimally place his encounter-destroying spells and if you're a munchkin you'll feel right at home here.
>>
>>49238165
on 20 rolls you get 3 additional rolls without keen. If you average just the damage with the +1 you get 103-104 dmg. (46 min, 161 max)

20 rolls with keen gives you 5 additional rolls, so with average rolls, 87-88. (25 min - 150 max)

With the fact that +1 also helps to hit, I would go with +1 always, unless you really need a crit.

Excuse me, /pfg/.

This is slightly off-topic and I'll likely ask this exact question in the next /gdg/ thread that comes along, but it's related to Pathfinder so I'll ask it anyway.

Some friends and I have been working on some homebrew rules that ended up being pretty expansive and we made the decision to actually collect it into a single file and share with everyone instead of just keeping it in our small play group, but while we're experienced players, we're inexperienced freelance publishers.

To get to the point, what are some good options for organizing a PDF to look pleasing to the eye? How would we go about giving it the same format as typical Pathfinder splatbooks? Are there any guides you'd recommend we follow/learn from for making PDFs?

Please and thank you.

Why would anyone want to follow that? Half of the options are stupid "well, duh" and the other half are random and arbitrary.
-A set third party books to take from (good idea for a GM to have a list from)
-No monstrous races, maybe because they can be broken for PCs and are above the 11 RP start anyways
-11 RP point buy, fine. That limits you to mainly core, but whatever.

-300 starting gold. Why? You do realize party of the starting gold is not everyone needs everything. A monk with 300 starting gold feels like a god, grabbing pretty much everything a level 1 character needs.
-No Evil or CN. Okay. Sometimes you need alignment restrictions on a campaign. To do this every campaign is stupid.
-Characters must have a back story that makes them want to help. No. One of my most fun characters was a Chosen One Paladin that just wanted to make armor and kept getting caught up in crap, forcing him to delay his Blacksmithing. He was fun.

The proscriptions against shit like sex, happiness, etc have always been a systematic "to be more special than the other guy" affair. >YOU cannot fondle children, because that's for the rabbi in the purification baths.

Alternatively, get the Gun Twirling feat. Granted, you'd need Weapon Focus, Dazzling Display, Gun Twirling itself, Quick Draw, and Rapid Reload.

Not particularly practical.

If you're not married to Gunslinger as a class, Fighter (Trench Fighter) will get you dex-to-damage at level 3. Between your level 1 feat, your human feat, and the bonus feats at 1st and 2nd, you'd be able to fit all of the above into your build by level 3.

A one-level dip into Gunslinger for Quick Clear and Gunsmithing is probably advisable (especially since RAW Trench Fighters don't actually gain firearm proficiency).

Afterwards, take your levels in something else, or you could just stick to Fighter. If you do that, though, I suggest picking up another archetype alongside Trench Fighter. Eldritch Guardian is pretty neat, and if your DM counts proficiency with firearms as a feat, you could have a familiar with firearm proficiency.

I was thinking of going to fighter after I get my 5th level in gunslinger, or hell I might just go with trench fighter instead of the gunslinger class at all if the DM allows it. Is this a good idea? THe gunslinger class seems to offer a lot of strange things that don't seem very usefull.
>>
>>49241892
>Is this a good idea?

It would be better, yeah.

Default gunslinger doesn't get anything really worthwhile after level 5.

Even if your GM says that Trench Fighters don't get firearm proficiency (since they don't by RAW), Gunslinger 1/Trench Fighter 3 gets you Dex-to-damage one level sooner (in addition to having an extra feat).

The singleclassed gunslinger 4 would have an extra point of reflex, plus the Gunslinger Initiative, Pistol Whip, and Utility Shot deeds. The latter two aren't particularly useful, and the former, while nice, you can replicate by taking ImpInit with your extra feat. Gunslinger 5 would get dex-to-damage, but at that point the multiclassed character could take another class entirely (or continue as a Trench Fighter and get another feat).

Inquisitor, being Wisdom-based, is a good class to jump into. If you do >>49241870 then Ranger might also be helpful, for the Archery combat style feats (since you'll be pretty behind feat-wise).

Not quite sure Wave Motion Strike worth it. 3 feats so it's not like it's consolidating or saving on the Vital chain, and Vital Strike's so damn far behind that adding what, maybe 40d4+40 at 20th? is actually not too impressive. you could instead have nova'd a spell-strike from various methods/sources, or get even more multiples of god-finger from a full attack if you go meditant.

But the most damning sin of all... MELEE? No Gunwitch compatibility? No loading it on a crossbow, not even a conductive one? No putting your entire ship's spinal mount into it?

SHAME! SHAAAAAME!!!
>>
>>49242884
Not GM. Wanted to try to do it with in-game rules before asking for GM to break the rulebook.
>>
>>49242888
Well it could be empowered/maximized if it's nova'd, so technically it could be 35d4+85. That's 172 average, with the weapon in addition. With a 6d6 weapon VS'd that's an additional average 84 damage, plus the base bonuses, let's say +30. Your single melee hit could be looking in the vicinity of about 286... This would be enough to take out a CR-2 every round, which is good for a ranged secondary attacker.

However it falls a bit short due to being a primary melee damage dealer in this case, and the wide spread of resists+immunities+DR+Hardness - all of which can separately apply due to being a multi-stage multi-damage effect could lower this further.

It's probably... about 25% from where it ought to be for single target devastation.

SORRY. MY BAD. That's CR-3 not -2 that it's taking out.

Needs about 30% more total value for that to be a valid build, and that did assume a 6d6 weapon.

Wait?! Undead and Constructs aren't immune to crits anymore? FUCK MY GM! son of a bitch, he fucking denied every crit ever in this heavy undead&construct campaign we're playing
>>
>>49243092
So, Archer the ranged damage dealer then?

Well, you need to decide guns or anything else first. The main reason here is "vs Touch": a BAB 15 is perfectly fucking happy with a firearm, but give him a crossbow and he's fucked (bows are happy what with way more bonuses than any other ranged weapon they can still hit plenty).

If you want a bow user, all you need's an adaptive longbow, and I'd suggest Hawkguard Warder (and don't forget to enchant that buckler. that shit will add up!) and all you need, being a bowman, is the feat chain to Manyshot, and of course deadly aim. It's all smooth sailing with any BAB 20 class and a bow this way, but the warder gets to not-provoke when firing much earlier than most, and can use counters at long range for its buddies which is awesome.

Firearms compensate for bad to-hits, but they're full of severe flaws you need to bypass in some way. If you want high-tech your easiest method is usually the Warsoul's Discipline Weapon Shapes (laser rifles are a firearm, and you're just one 'group adaptation' feat from heavy weapons being ALL your disciplines discipline weapons) which won't have to deal with charges, but there's many other options.

A stalker can get the crit value ridiculous, and then you go and get those high 6/7th level maneuvers in Tempest Gale and Solar Wind that ensure a threat. You might be dealing x5 or even x6 crits.

Aegis doesn't get + to hit, but it gets size increases real easy and is versatile as fuck. This makes it an unbelievable support for big guns, easily sending you into the 6+ damage dice territories with little to no thought.
>>
>>49242972
Are you looking for just high DPR from range with a full round or are you looking for more utility?
>>
>>49243187
Well maybe your fucking elves should stop saying they get by with 4 hours of trancing.
>>

>>

Just damage. I don't care to use guns. We have a gunslinger that is largely useless in one of my current campaigns because of the number of times he rolls 1s then has to get his gun cleared.

I just want a fun bow or crossbow user. The Aegis sounds broken. I want to know how to do that type of crazy damage.
>>
>>49243225
well crossbows are not meant to be good weapons anyway
>>
>>49243354
Paladin with bows tends to be pretty high DPR if smiting, but then it'll depend on campaign.

>>
>>49243410
More long-term campaign intrigue is available in a huge library of character options and a more stratified level scale. Keeping track of every little modifier and squeezing out bonuses when you need them provides another game layer of management that can keep players engaged and invested.
I run 5e for shorter games.
>>
>>49243410
I play many things, including 5e. 3.5 just happens to be what I started with and have the widest breadth of knowledge, which extends to Pathfinder. In my case, whether or not the system is shit has nothing to do with it.
>>
>>49243410
Because 5e is halfassed and boring. As bad as Pathfinder is, it's still the better of the two games people actually play.
>>
>>49243410
Because 5e has no content and no subsystems for logical scenarios.

>"I hit him with the sharp end of my sword"
>"Do you do lethal or nonlethal damage?"
>>
>>49243488
>it's still the better of the two games people actually play.
debatable. Yeah, it has more options and support, but most of those options are pointless and shit, and the core balance is a mess.

Really, the only reason why 5e isn't too great is because it just doesn't have as much content and not as robust of a 3pp industry/community. If someone were to go full ham on the system, or if Hasbro and Wizards weren't such boring morons, then itd be much more popular and won't have to die the same ignoble death 4e did.
>>
>>49243410
It's easy to find games. I can walk into any game shop in my city, assuming it has customers at all, and find a game that'll be going on sometime. I mean, with a lot of the games I want to play more, I can't even find anyone who knows about the game. I wish I could play Eclipse Phase or Tenra Banshou Zero more often. Guess how many people even know about those in my entire city. Two. Me and my brother who has to deal with me telling him about setting details and stuff because we room together.

Plus, breadth of content. I'd like to play more 5e games, but I've run out of stuff to play with. It's been how many years and Wizards has basically piddled about making awful Forgotten Realms content.
>>
>>49243410
Because my group is comfortable with it and understand it well and haven't had any problems big enough that would make us ditch it.

We also play other systems but pathfinder is our standard.

We are a more silly group though and things get hand waved at varying amounts depending on current DM,

tldr we are dumb, lazy and having fun so fuck off
>>
>>49243410
I play 5e as well, and it's boring. No tactical aspects, incomplete rules, and classes that shoehorn you. The vancian casting is improved, but for a game published in the 21st century, it feels old.
>>
>>49243410
Because if I try to get players for a Runequest campaign, I get maybe 2 half-assed replies. At least with Pathfinder I'm virtually guaranteed to get enough people to run a campaign even if someone drops out. And there are still houserules and houserule combinations I'd like to try out.
>>
>>49243354
Aegis isn't broken, but rather it fills in a lot of holes, and if focused on offers a very different path to high damage. it doesn't offer any to-hit on its own; no weapon training, no favored weapon, and thus also no dueling gloves for an extra +2 on the bonus. It doesn't really offer static damage either.

It just... makes the weapon BIG.
>>
>>49243410
Because 5e attracts people who don't want to play a system with any rules&faggots who want to shove every old edition into the new one for some retarded reason, yet also ignore the rules that made said editions
it's complicated, but let's just say I've never had a good 5e experence so it's subjective and leave it at that.

Shadowrun has so much and nobody really desires to learn it, so it ends up being done half-assed at best, and just shit at worst.

Other systems suffer somewhat from the same shit the other two do, but mixed, and with issues of their own. Pathfinder is simple enough to accept people who want it (it's basic fantasy but also is full of tropes you can run with) and also complicated/strict enough that it doesn't attract as many retards as other systems.
>>
>>49243410
I know the rules for PF, my friends know the rules for PF. I like legos. I actually may be playing in a 5E game soon, and I don't have issues with it. If I get a group with new players interested in DnD I'll probably run 5e instead.
>>
>>49243410
I do play 5e, and I love every moment. But I also play Pathfinder, because my friends prefer it for some ungodly reason.

So, update from my end folks. Been grappling with terrible writer's block lately, and after long periods of time staring at blank documents and hating myself, I decided that sanity is for the weak and wrote a base class to try and break my way through it.

And now the bossman has an interest in that class, so I'm announcing the beginning of formal playtesting for the Malefex, hopefully to see an October release!

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1W3LrE8WyIxxYRr8d9dHsWioeUk_-HZaSMqVWRnzc9Fc/edit?usp=sharing

Malefexes are curse-themed skillmonkeys with a strong 'street smarts' subtheme. They're big on the idea of learning from experience, the competitive urge, and the connections you make with others through hostility or rivalry.

As always, this is a live document and subject to change without warning.

Still on the agenda is writing more malefactions at all levels, getting archetype ideas that I don't immediately hate, and testing some of the abilities that have proven currently controversial (including Skin Of My Teeth).

Just fuck my life, up anon. Fuck it right the fuck up.

Okay so we're in this place between planes and there's a bit of a political discourse going on between two factions. "The Keepers" and "The Arch Mages" We came there to warn them about one of their ancient creations coming back to this place to destroy them.

The Keepers are vampires but they're good vampires apparently..

One character is the mind controlled slut of one of their other creations and is trying to "smash her urn of creation to unleash her full power"

So, when we were sleeping one night one party member decided to go about it himself and throw himself to the Keepers saying he needed power to keep this magic floating city safe.
Not only that but he had a plot hook with seeing a spirit of his ancestor to tell him about the status of his father and fiance.

One party member is now stabbing us in the back by telling the rival faction everything... Because player above became a vampire.

Finally we have the oracle. Who is actually a good character who is empowered by a douche bag fey who surprise surprise is imprisoned underneath this floating city. Now the oracle must figure out a way to trick the party into freeing him without actually mentioning it to them. (Oracle stuff)
