Right. Sorry, was gonna reply when thread dropped.

>>49217411
Normally "yes", but for the jumper? "No". You'll get the option to be a male Living Saint.

>>49218127
It will be balanced as a jump that allows one to customize oneself for the setting, not be a clone copy of a tabletop character sheet.
>>
>>49223542
Red, have you ever forgot to turn off size perks?

So, originally I was going to release this to help hype that one anon's jump but seeing as how he just kinda dropped a turd and hasn't fixed it, may as well post this anyway.

Best kind of update, just more content. Changelog is at the bottom.
>>
>>49223542
As a Daemon Prince, do we get Chaos minions for post-jump, a daemon world, anything besides the transformation into a Daemon Prince? If no, that's fine, I was just curious.
>>
>>49223542
Weren't the Demon Princes of Chaos Undivided the Strongest?

Will it be possible to do the impossible and achieve/create Greater Demon of Chaos Undivided?
>>
>>49223542
RED

Would there be an option to be chaos champion of Necoho (were he real at all)?
>>
>>49223787
It says in the lore that he doesn't have any daemons.
>>
>>49220552
They're both Ur-Quan. The 'nicer' ones you're talking about are the Kzer-Za.

And I agree. The Khor-Ah are killing every other sapient race to keep themselves safe. The Kzer-Za, on the other hand are placing them under slave shields. And they at least pretend at having a conscience, because besides the admitted desire to protect themselves, they at least feel the need to justify themselves to other races, claiming that being under a slave shield is safer than being free. That indicates SOME buried sense of morality, while the Khor-Ah don't give a fuck at all.
>>
>>49223817
But Kaz,
I'm already a daemon
>>
>>49223615
Sorry to hear. Happens to the best of us. For what it's worth I'm digging all the changes.

Hmm. I'm...really tempted to go Hamidon not more than ever because of the CP hike but. I like being the most defensive defender quite a bit, and it'd be a massive retcon.

Choices, choices.

>>49223831

>>49223559
Never.

>>49223631
I have yet to decide. Remember, I still need to balance things for non-ascension rewards as well, and that's unplanned so far. I'm trying to avoid the pitfalls of "you can only have one of two options" for rewards.

>>49223681
Normally, and that's why they're so fucking RARE, but it's also gotta be balanced with the other options. I refuse to have any one 'background' be made obviously better than another option.

But inevitably, that's in Part 3 and I've still got Part 1 and other things to do. So the answer is undoubtedly "I'll figure it out when I get there."

>>49223787
Probably not. I'm already risking bloat with how much stuff I'm putting in anyway, and Loyalist will be taking the place of the non-chaos route. Besides, I'd get no end to the cries of 'trap jump' if every single route was chaos god related. This combined with some past drama in the planning stages, it's unlikely I will be using Necoho at all.
>>
>>49223892
They're an alien version of a predatory hawaiian caterpillar. They were enslaved for thousands of years by psychic frogs and now have a pathological need for safety and view all other sapient beings as threats.
>>
>>49223911
To be fair, going Daemon Prince or Greater Demon could basically cost more for Chaos Undivided. Maybe require something bought from each God to enable such option, like how in Naruto you need both Senju and Sharingan to buy Rinnegan?

And Chaos gods decided to not do a Daemon Princes of Chaos Undivided again, something about putting too much power into one being that isn't specifically loyal

RED!

If Slaanesh has a 1 ton slurry of 15% corrupted Eldar and he wants to increase the by volume concentration of Eldar to 69%, how much pure Eldar does he have to add to the slurry?

>>

...I can promise two out of three.

>>49223984
>Maybe require something bought from each God to enable such option, like how in Naruto you need both Senju and Sharingan to buy Rinnegan?
Eeeeh... I dunno. It still pretty much makes Chaos Undivided the 'overpriced' option because if everyone else doesn't have those requirements, then it makes Divided a CP drain. Then if I put other requirements in other Chaos backgrounds, then it becomes a case of "you HAVE to go this build or you don't get the big toys".

It's just a very sticky situation that's requiring me to do some juggling to make it work.

>>49224013
...what the fuck are you even asking that question and why do you expect me to know the answer.
>>
>>49223911
Well.

Time to Eat the Warp. And then crap out souls into a better Realm of Souls. DBZ style one maybe.

I wonder how many licks does it take to get to the center of Eye of Terror

A three.
>>
>>49224084
Here's a fun fact.

One of Greater Demons of Khorne due to Tzeentch manipulation attacked Khorne. He was exiled and was reduced just to Hate and constantly fighting as if to apologize but here's interesting bit.

He opened a chink in Khorne's armor.

So it technically is possible to slay a Chaos God in Warp. If it bleeds we can kill it
>>
>>49224013
If my math is right, about 2225 kilograms of pure Eldar.
>>
Shadows of the Damned jump when?
>>
>>49224127
Nah, I clarify that little tidbit right after the 1000cp in the beginning.
>>
>>49224155
Wait, no, I checked it and I'm off by about three percent. Let me try again.
>>
>>49224084
>...what the fuck are you even asking that question and why do you expect me to know the answer.

.15(1) + 1(x) = .69(x+1)
.15 + x = .69x + .69
.31x = .74
x = 2.387

Slaanesh requires 2.387 tons of pure Eldar in order to increase his 1 ton of slurry from 15% concentrate to 69%.

That's okay, that was just a warmup. Next we'll be discussing exponential souls and the rate of return on spiritual investment. If you need a moment, I can wait.

>>49224155

>>
>>49224094

Howdy all!
Red and VictorVon in particular, looking to be in good form, the both of you.

I just finished off all of Crunchyroll's Jojo and I have to say something. What the fuck happened to old man Jojo? He had Hamon, which explicitly had an eighty year old looking high thirties at worst and a fifty year old as a low twenty, so why is it that he's nigh fucking cripped at the ripe old age of 79? I mean yeah he's old but this stuff has president to around that level of age to have him looking low forties tops.

Where am I going now, /JC?
>>
>>49224283
No, in that case he would get 1.7418 tons if he did it right
>>
>>49224303
See, the thing about Hamon is:

It delays aging effects but if you stop practicing it, it hits you like a truck
>>
>>49224309
Huh. Yes it is. What the hell, I did the math for .54 and got 2.387. What just happened? Did I hit the seven instead of the five by accident? How'd I do that?
>>
>>49224303
>>49224303
If I had to guess about the jojo thing? Those two people who looked great were actively practicing and perfecting their Hamon
Joseph was never interested in that sort of thing. He used it when he needed to, or when it was interesting, he wasn't the type of person to practice every day.
>>
>>49224122
Just get the Key Crest, you'll be fine.
>>
>>49223892
Nah. Anti-Spirals at least allow the pretense of a slave planet at first. Hypothetically, Lordgenome could have kept his "solution" going on indefinitely, and humans would have survived in a fashion.

Khor-Ah just want to kill everything. Full stop. Everything that isn't Khor-Ah has to die. Doesn't matter what you're doing, doesn't matter how nice you are, doesn't matter if you're cave men or the enlightened precursor race, you have to die because you're not Khor-Ah.
>>
>>49224122
Do not worry, I am processing it and transferring it to the most responsible person I know and can trust!
>>
>>49224088
> Time to Eat the Warp.
Again? You'd have to have done that at least four times now.
>>
>>49224303
Same reason his Hamon was increasingly ineffective in part 3: he wasn't keeping his skills very sharp. Doesn't help there weren't any Pillar Men or Vampires left aside from Dio to provide incentive to train.

It broke my heart to see both Hamon and Joseph age and break down like that.
>>
>>49224122
Oh you can easily solve that via burnout transistors and clones as well as judicious use of dark binding. Since dark binding makes you stronger with souls eating the warp which is made of dreams and souls would make you a new insane chaos god but would probably be bad for your brain meats.
>>
>>49224432
>It broke my heart to see both Hamon and Joseph age and break down like that.
Is there something I'm missing about Hamon? Does it provide you with some sort of agelessness if you keep practicing it?
>>
>>49224432
Man, speaking of Pillarmen.

Their race must have had the weirdest Coitus ever, assuming they all could rearrange their bodies somewhat to levels of Santana.

"Okay, let's try something new. Here, stick your rib inside my pelvis!"
>>
>>49223911
>it's unlikely I will be using Necoho at all.
What about Malal?
>>
>>49224442
I forgot about Dark Binding... Huh
>>
>>49224478
He doesnt exist shut up.
>>
>>49224473
That would be the takeaway from this conversation, yes.

Or rather, it provides you with longevity, would be more the thing.
>>
>>49224324
Truck? Must be the mythic 142 wheeler fuck me that's terrible.

Did Star Platinum's Jojo learn any of it, cause he isn't showing any in the Crazy Diamond arc.

>>49224342
I counter this with a simple fact. Dio never dies, I don't care how final it may have seemed I'm expecting his sorry ass to just up and appear even though he's only done the fucking 'I got better' thing once.

>>49224432
I figured the fact that it is just pattern breathing, along with the fact that he's a natural at it to the point he could use it without even knowing what it was, means that it's fairly easy to upkeep. Guess not though.

>>49224473
Hamon is noted to retard ageing, as in the anime they have a moment where this is pointed out to be a big thing. One guy was well into his eighth decade and looked high-mid thirties. A Hamon Coach in the same arc was fifty and looked to be in her twenties.
>>
>>49224474
>Coitus
Sex = Useless
>>
How large is the eye of terror anyway? Do we have a actual size of it? Would it be possible to place ships around it in formation to make a giant binding circle and seal it off?
>>
>>49224492
Would make a good drawback, though, having to serve the God of Teamkilling Fucktards (who also doesn't exist).
>>
>>49224528
>Dio never dies, I don't care how final it may have seemed I'm expecting his sorry ass to just up and appear

Oh boy.

Part 7
>>
>>49224528
>I counter this with a simple fact. Dio never dies,
Jonathan was the one who fought Dio, not Joseph. Dio was "gone" before Joseph's father was born, Joseph had no need or desire to train to fight Dio.
>>
>>49224531
That's only for Ultimate Kars. And it refers to reproduction in general, not the pleasurable act.
>>
>>49224531
When you are immortal you take your fun where you can get it even if it includes fishhooks and hanging from ceilings.
>>
>>49224528
Nah, Jotaro never learns Hamon. As I recall, Dio is the last vampire that appears in the series, so there was never a reason to learn it.
>>
>>49224563
I know, anon. It was a joke.

>>49224549
Technically, he appears in part 6, both in flashbacks and as the Green Baby.
>>
>>49224474
Welp, I know what I'm spending ten years doing once I go Pillarman.
>>
>>49224599
This is main reason to take the ring drawback thing so you can be there from beginning of series to universal reset and then after Steel Ball Run you finish the drawback so you can leave
>>
What are the best custom alt-forms, and how do I go about making it HUGE?
>>
>>49224549
The Crunchyroll stops mid-Crazy Dimond arc. Don't tease me, please.

>>49224550
I'm talking about Hermit Purple's Jojo, the old man who was with Star Platinum's Jojo in the final fight against Dio. He's also the guy who trained to fight the Pillar Men and was briefed on what the Masks could produce, which those Masks weren't all accounted for from what I recall.

>>49224574
>Jotaro never learns Hamon
This is sad in ways I can't explain.

>>49224599
>Dat Spoiler
Teases all of you!

>>49224637
Is it funny that I knew about the universal reset but not about Hamon going the way of the Dodo?
>>
>>49224642
By custom, do you mean customizable? If so, and if you want huge, LoS Dragon form is what you want. For reference, your max size, with the right options taken, is one Old Rag Mountain tall and three across. That's bloody huge.
>>
>>49224642
Kaiju in Pacific Rim is both customizable and HUGE.

By custom, I meant like choosing what the form looks like. I.e. I could choose a giant scorpion or a giant penguin. By the way, how far across is Old Rag Mountain?
>>
>>49224669
That was Joseph yes, he never Fought Dio. Hell what he heard of Dio was essentially an old story about how his grand-dad died. And the Masks were unaccounted for at the end of Pillar Men, but presumably that was all taken care of by the time Stardust Crusaders began.
>>
>>49224710
So with the right technology and magic it could be possible?
>>
>>49224642
>Spyro
>>Dragon form

>Transformers
>>Large frame

>SAO
>>Final Form

>SupCom
>>Vehicle Import
>>Experimental ACU
Import yourself as your ACU

LOSS gives you size. Transformers gives you a little more size and makes you a vehicle. SAO allows you to combine the two. SupCom's E ACU triples your size.

Congratulations, in three easy steps you've become three times the size of the Rocky Mountain mountain chain.
>>
>>49224669
>Sad
I agree, which is why I taught Jotaro Hamon. By the way, Crazy Diamond isn't finished yet, so that's why it's stopping half way through.

There was also a picture of Dio in part 5. You'll find out why when and if that get's an anime.
>>
>>49224710
Reading this raises a question.
Where the fuck is Aureilia? Like I have no idea where in the galaxy that place is. I would presume on the eastern end due to the Nid-attacks, but they also had to put up with Ulthwe's shit.
>>
>>49224719
I'm not sure, actually. It's about a thousand meters tall, but I'm not sure how far across it is.
>>
>>49224735
>>49224642
Oh, addendum. You'll need to grab some magic in LOSS to help you max out your size as quickly as possible.

And for frame of reference, the Rockies are 3000mi long and upwards of 300mi wide.
>>
>>49224735
Wait...
Is importing myself as an ACU allowed? Cause if it is I'm getting right on it.

In the Kingdom Hearts jump, is taking the plotbound drawback when you're a Heartless or a Nobody a death sentence? I'm not overly familiar with the series, but I was under the impression that those things are widely considered "evil." Would they be okay with a nice one hanging around and helping, while only occasionally looking at their hearts for just a moment too long, or are you doomed due to them wanting to destroy you and your drawback-enforced inability to run away?
>>
>>49224782
To be fair if you get that eat magic perk from spyro then get an emergy form along with that thing that keeps you from popping you could just get infinitely big by slapping more and more energy into yourself. Just infinitely chug and grow.
>>
>>49224801
It allows you to import a vehicle to serve as your ACU. If you have an alt form that is a vehicle, then you'd qualify. If not, then no.
>>
>>49224720
He was there for Stardust Crusaders, and perhaps I've read too much fiction but I find it hard to believe Dio was down for the count after one res like that.

>>49224737
Ditto, Better Living Through Breathing Well should be a fucking staple in all households with Hamon in universe. There's no explanation for why it isn't more widespread.

>>
>>49224843

You asked why Joseph was old in Stardust Crusaders.
Because he never practiced Hamon consistently, because there wasn't a need to. Because he had never fought Dio before and presumed he was taken care of at the bottom of the ocean.

Ah, I see where you didn't get what I was saying, or perhaps I was being too vauge. I was talking about the fact that he was perfectly well off during Stardust Crusaders and then during Crazy Diamond is Unbreakable he's a cripped up old man. He was a built mofo in Stardust with some gray in his hair but that's about all he'd gotten from ageing. In Crazy Diamond is Unbreakable he's been reduced to a senile old man, I was asking what gives and apparently Better Living Through Breathing Well is just too much for Joseph to deal with, even though it came naturally to him.
Also, I think >>49224852 was refering to the fact that here, >>49224720 you say he never fought Dio at all.
>>
>>49224974
Joseph was always an immoral jackass slacker with few positive traits.
>>
>>49224956
Oh, well, I actually haven't be to the Styx in a while, not since that debacle with the samurai from...what was it called again? Mikado? Something like that. Boy, I tell you THAT was a mess. Have you ever had to deal with not one, not two, but THREE identity theft cases, in a row, all involving the leaders of Law and Chaos, not to mention the Great Will itself? It's very stressful.

You know what? Sure, why not? I could use a vacation anyway.
>>
>>49224952
>>49224812
Y'know at this point playing devil's advocate seems so overdone that I've actually developed a slight hatred of the term "to be fair", but...
TO BE FAIR, Heartless and Nobodies are assholes. The Nobody's first introduction to Sora is to stand on the top of a cliff and talk shit to him, while periodically attacking him, throwing Heartless at him, or involving him in evil schemes to steal all the hearts.
Heartless are also literally the embodiment of evil and darkness that he's told he has to fight from basically the moment he gets his keyblade. Not to mention they ate his island.

If you're a Nobody who can act halfway decent to him, or even come up with a cover story for why you have a heart, you can probably do alright. Especially since Nobodies don't even show up until the second game.
If you're a Heartless... well, then you basically have to show up really, really early and make a huge deal about how you're actually helpful and good. You basically have to distance yourself from the entire rest of your race. That one perk that makes you seem harmless and fun despite being a Heartless will probably help.
>>
>>49224952
Well, to be fair, most Nobodies are huge jackasses. And the only intelligent Heartless Sora's ever encountered is the Seeker of Darkness.
>>
>>49225058
I got a question here.

There was that plan to keep fighting each Administrator and reset the world when necessary, killing off the Administrators...

But... They killed Arcturus and regressed the world. And Arcturus was still there. What the fuck.

And in the creation of new world, I assume if religion remained, so did YHVH's influence, right?
>>
>>49224812
>>49224812
To summarize; in Kingdom Hearts, a living being is made of a heart, body, and soul. When someone loses their heart, they become a Heartless which is formed of darkness, while the body and soul becomes a Nobody provided the person was strong enough. The more darkness in someone's heart, the stronger the Heartless. The stronger they are overall, the stronger the Nobody.

Nobodies are only as hostile as the one who commands them is. The non-humanoid ones are pretty much mindless. Heartless however are invariably hostile to living things except in the case of Sora who became a shadow for a brief moment, but was able to retain his awareness long enough to be saved. This is an oddity (or a plot hole) because the only way to restore someone who loses their heart is to kill both their heartless and their nobody.

To answer the main question; it pretty much would be as nobody thinks twice about killing a Heartless or a Nobody. A Nobody with a human form however retains awareness and can be good or evil once they realize they have free will.

Oh god.

The game lets you call Joe and Ronaldo's stuff a Bromance followed by joe explaining it.

Hibiki is awesome. Others are too
>>
>>49225104
And yet, when they regressed the world after Polaris was killed, she stayed dead. As much as I love DeSu 2, that always bugged me. Eventually, I just decided that Alcor must have taken the time to make sure Polaris stayed dead, which is how Canopus caught him, where as with Arcturus he just regressed the world.

Pretty much.

>>49225128
I really love Hibiki's character in this game, he's hysterical. Also, at a certain point in the Triangulum arc, when someone knocks on the door and asks you to guess who, say Io. I guarantee it will be worth it.
>>
Hey, is Dwarf Fortress even mildly survivable as a first jump?
>>
>>49225200
I think I missed that event or said something else.

Also, had a thoight. Would fate let us summon, fuse or make contracts more easily with demons that belong to the jump in which we are FATEing someone?

Like, let's say I FATE a sister of battle in 40k to 5. Would I technically unlock aspect of Emperor or such?
>>
>>49225243
Definitely.

Uh...an aspect of the Emperor, I think, would require having FATE with a primarch. And even then, I'm not sure he counts as a demon...
>>
>>49225226
Technically I guess you could start in a preestablished town of humans and be a cobbler or something.
>>
>>49225226
I think so, but it doesn't function well as one, and basically all the drawbacks completely screw you as far as a first jump.
>>
>>49225270
We would technically be able to summon Greater Daemons if we FATE some of chaos people. Maybe Daemon princes as level 3

But then, if we FATE people that worship chaos undivided, will we, at 5, see the impossibility that is Greater Daemon of Chaos Undivided?
>>
>>49225270
We have gods, half gods and so on in DeSu 2 as demons.

J'eanne Arc.

And how to best keep stuff between world regression: put it in Warehouse...

As for the alternate reward for Errai Rising, I now think I know best way to explain why we get it.

It symbolizes us being outside of Administrator System. Symbolizes how no one else has authority over us and our powers, which is why a character with dominion over an aspect isn't immune to powers we have based on that aspect, at least if they are out of jump. That's wby they would have to struggle to block them or so
>>
>>49225314
Well, given what I've heard about Greater Daemons, I doubt you'll be able to get them through FATE with a cultist. Keep in mind that the rest of the main characters were more than a fair bit beyond regular humans. But if you find some Chaos guy or gal on that comparative level, sure, you'd probably get a Greater Daemon.

...is it completely impossible? Because, if so, the answer is obviously no. If not, then again, the Chaos Undivided folks would have to be to regular cultists as the protagonists were to everyone else, but yes, it would be possible.
>>
>>49225373

>>
>>49225425
Wait, wrong quote. Meant to answer the posts about Joseph being a wreck in Morioh.
>>
>>49225386
Is it impossible?

That's an unknown. The thing is that Greater Daemons are almost avatars of their respective God. That much is true for Greater Daemons of Nurgle, but they do have some independent thought as one of Greater Daemons of Khorne was tricked by Tzeentch into attacking Khorne himself.

And considering how Chaos Gods fight each other, who knows? Daemon Princes of Chaos Undivided existed, but only two. The first one was much stronger than regular ones and eventually started killing all other champions and Daemon Princes to show himself as supreme, that this power belongs to him. Chaos Gods decide to not make Daemon Princes of Chaos Undivided after that and making a second one, more loyal. Because first one's loyalties were constant question mark technically.

So who knows. Such Greater Daemon would be just avatar of the entirety of Warp.

Could one Skill Crack chaos God blessings or mutations or such abilities?

You know that scene where the Nobody (Saix, I think?) is waxing poetic about emotions and Sora shit-talks him? About how he can't actually feel emotions and is just shitting him?

He was absolutely right. Nobodies can't feel emotions. It's genuinely impossible. They're manipulative sociopaths who pretend to have feelings so you'll feel sorry for them.

Congrats, you got duped.
>>
>>49225521
Then for now I'm going to have to say no. Keep in mind, that FATE isn't creating a new demon, it's giving you access to one that already exists. If there are no Greater Daemons of Chaos Undivided, you can't summon them.

No. If it's granted by the Chaos Gods, you can't skill crack it.
>>
>>49225574
Anon, what Sora did was like mocking a burn victim for lacking nerve endings.

Nobodies remember having emotions and what those are like, and they really want them back. The act is both for their own sake and for its use as a tool, they're not monsters. The reason most of the ones you meet are dicks is because Xemnas gathered them and fed them lies to get them to do as he wanted.

It's also proven that interaction with a being who has a heart can give a Nobody flashes of real emotion, see Axel. It's also a stated fact that Nobodies will eventually regrow a heart if they still look like their original bodies and exist for long enough.
>>
>>49225669

Also... The demons we summon. They are still intelligent and all but we can't import them or teach them new stuff, they are limited to three skills and passive abilities they have or what?

Asking because Lucifer has an innate Almighty resistance that's not shown. And also: we can take samples or such of summoned demons, and they will remain after de summoning?

The 200CP and 600CP perks for Cybrans in Supreme Commander are good for that. The 600CP perk makes you a genius at computer science and engineering, with a focus on quantum computing. Put those together and you should be able to combine those systems.

Malal is the chaos god of contrarianism. He's Chaos eating itself, Chaos against Chaos.

Necoho is the chaos god of disbelief and atheism. He represents a contradiction, the collective unconsciousness of the warp manifesting a being based on what people DON'T believe in.

There are a few other lesser Chaos Gods scattered around in the lore, sometimes hard to find info on them, but the above two are the most popular outside of the big four.

If the anon making the Spiderman jump is here, I have a couple of suggestions for the Symbiotes.

You should give them guaranteed compatibility with your jumper biology, so they don't instantly die if you have lava for blood or the like.

It might also be a good idea to have the option of buying the ability to share your perks, or at least your resistances with the Symbiote while it's bound to you. It would suck if the attacks that bounce off you harmlessly would kill your new best friend.

Just my two cents, looking forward to the jump.

It simply wasn't an option. Keep in mind, for most of the game the two make even Yamato, the leader of JPs and the strongest demon summoner at first, look like a joke. Hell, even Alcor's wary of Shiva, referring to him as "The Destroyer". So they wouldn't be able to fuse them, due to not being strong enough and not being able to defeat or recruit them. Also, only Lugh was imprisoned, and as much as I dislike the anime due to it butchering the plot and characters, it showed that even Lugh would stomp JPs if he ever got out.

>Virtue Expressed through Grace doesn't allow you to learn Native charms, right? Because Faeblooded can't normally learn those.
>>49221032
>You learn in accordance to a Creation-Born Fae-Blooded who has a Grace. All freedoms and all limits thereof.
This is a problem for a couple reasons. One, we are back to charging for things a Fae-Born should be getting for free, because normally, they are assumed to have that potential by default. Like even if all that gives is knowledge, then they would have been able to have already make their own Graces with that knowledge, instead of only getting two,

In addition, you need to open the Errata and actually look at what the Ink Monkey team slapped the 'Native' key word on, because this was at the point they were rewriting the setting instead of making mechanical fixes.

Currently, Scroll of Heroes says Fae Born do not respire essence outside Wyld tainted areas (which is a problem, because the fact they are half creation born as well should both creation and the wyld are native for them) (And face it, localized essence respiration was just a bad idea that the underworld needed that just got shoehorned elsewhere)

But they can explicitly feed on mortals like the fae do. BUT, all those charms got slapped with the 'Native' keyword. So they cannot actually do what you are saying they can Native charms are in fact forbidden to them.

Also:
>At three years of one soul per day (not counting Calibration), that's 1320 souls
I was assuming regular 365 years, and that it did not need to be a soul every day, just that number of souls So I went 365x3=1,095 and went with owing the Ebony Forest 1,111 people, as the number sounded neat, and you could probably bargain with him to give him gossamer on better terms, or worked gossamer as trade goods for buying slaves, with your time and effort adding value and saving him effort.

That being said, in terms of personal physical power and tech he would be Apocalypse or Darkseid levels minus anti-life equation. There's obviously not a lot of hard feats to compare them but within the context of the game it takes a shit load of top level supers to take him down and they have to be on the ball.

That said, he has no charisma or personality. That's a pro and a con given that many villains at that level fall due to hubris but this also means he's shit at motivating anyone who isn't an indoctrinated grunt or machine. I'd say he's worth the price tag if you don't mind being the party face.
>>
>>49227753
I guess so? Maybe there was some disaster in the demon realm or something.

You mean is there a way to summon them as they would be as boss battles? Yes, but it would require a substantial power source that a COMP/Nicaea could not provide, and you're not going to get anything near universal or even planet busting even with Lucifer or Satan.

Sure, I don't see why not.

PF Druid Archetypes are weird.

>the newest book released an Archetype that can devolve people and animals
>and one that deals with ghosts
>an earlier book introduced one that deals with fae and casts based on CHA instead of WIS
>there's one that instead of an animal companion gets four different elemental summons but trades most of its features for this
>there's one focused specifically on being HUEG, to the point of wildshaping into megafauna and dinosaurs (which are your only animal companion options) and eventually you can also just turn into Giants

I remember this game I played where a guy had a homebrewed druid class he called a hive druid, he had only one familiar and it was a queen bee that he had merged into the top of his skull and he could mind control the hive because he shared the body and mind with the queen.

He had very few abilities but could alter the child bees while in between scenes. By the end of it he was wearing crunchy buzzing bee armor and swarming enemies with his massive swarm of bees.

I hated the guy but that was a fun game.

>This is a problem for a couple reasons. One, we are back to charging for things a Fae-Born should be getting for free, because normally, they are assumed to have that potential by default. Like even if all that gives is knowledge, then they would have been able to have already make their own Graces with that knowledge, instead of only getting two,
But they do get it for free. It's everyone else that has to pay.

>But they can explicitly feed on mortals like the fae do. BUT, all those charms got slapped with the 'Native' keyword. So they cannot actually do what you are saying they can Native charms are in fact forbidden to them.
Except you can Ravish people with Cup shaping attacks, just like Scroll of Heroes said.(even if Scroll of Heroes fucked up children of the mighty so badly) You just can't eat their entire soul in one go.

>I was assuming regular 365 years, and that it did not need to be a soul every day, just that number of souls So I went 365x3=1,095 and went with owing the Ebony Forest 1,111 people, as the number sounded neat
Why would you assume you bargained for three years in some system it doesn't use? But yes, it's that number of souls. Gaunlet has said as much.

Also, if you're the guy I think you are... (you can safely ignore if you aren't, but your writing style seems very familiar)

You mentioned Gossamer stuff being inherently Perfect in your ranting about errata.

Which has never been the case, even in the unerrata'd GWM, you need to actually make higher rolls to get perfect stuff instead of standard quality. Sure, actual Gossamer stuff gets bonusses, but that's on top of Perfect/Exceptional/Fine/Normal stats.

Yes, and years in the jump are Earth years,
Someone asked if by 10 years he meant 10 Earth years, or 12.5 Earth years (10 Creation years) And Gaunlet said the latter.

Also note that the longer length in Creation is NOT mentioned in the Jump at all, so assuming he would expect everyone to know the difference is rather presumptive. So it is safer to assume that when talking duration's in the Destiny sections, he is using the year most people are familiar with, than assuming everyone knows better when it is not spelled out.

...do main characters even remember previous world then? It is... Curious.

Oh, that reminds me: what would happen if we actually busted the star from which an Administrator derives their name?

As for why Arcturus also respawn we after reset, I think it's mainly because as Alcor said, Er Rai was next. Canopus CREATED Arcturus, notice how he seemed not as intelligent. Even if world was reset, as long as there was no Administrator, Arcturus was made again. Errai could be Administrator because of how fucked is the issue with Admin Authority.

And... Interesting how everyone wishes for Miyako and Alcor so hard that they broke laws of administrator system. Although I assume they lost their powers...

I am sorry, but it is.

Remember, nothing is Native in Graceful Wicked Masques, if that is what you are reading It is a concept the Ink Monkeys invented to prevent Eclipse stacking of certain charms, then also applied to half bloods where that would not even be an issue, as part of their 'Mortals Have to suck by making them awful, rather than by making everything else more awesome' .philosophy,

Check the Errata, Page 110. YES, all feeding charms have the Native nerf slapped on them.

Not quite. The Cup's a physical metaphor for Desire created from your Compassion and allows you to Shape in the Wyld, and Ravishing allows you eat bits of people's soul.

It's usually more of a intricate narrative create created by warping the Wyld.

So I accidentally over leveled trying to get Macca to nearly fill the entire companion. And to beat TICO.

On the other hand, despite me totally wrecking Canopus, I liked the idea of fight against the factors but it seemed a tad bit underwhelming. I liked the maps though. Still, that was three factors at once and in Errai rising if we fight the Errai's incarnation-factors separately, it seems manageable.

Also, for the FATE system? The issue here is that you technically said that yes, we can use it to fuse people or companions... But that totally goes against FATE system idea of unlocking fusions, in a way. Kind of. That was my main issue originally

If we pimp up Earth's defenses so much that the whole planet is protected against Void and they can just drop kick Administrators left and right, I assume lesser amount of Regressions would be necessary, and all.

Although you did say that if we beat Errai Rising we don't even need to create new world because Admins will be like "Fuck this shit, I'm out"

And because I love attention, the rough draft of the symbiote builder. For reference a symbiote is going to be 300cp by itself.

I'm no football player but the place I work at is near a stadium. Just a short drive away and it's the only other place that's open late. So instead of one rush hour of people late at night I'll be dealing with 2 often times overlapping due to how many come in on the first rush our. So one rush after a game and another after the clubs let out.

Not sure why you would want to tie the super powers you buy to the Symbiote instead of just keeping them so you always have access, unless the Symbiote gets a discount or something? Other then that I really like where this is going.

"Physiological powers" is too broad an offering by far within the context of Jumpchain. Similarly we don't see anything in that particular bit of Spiderman lore about Symbiots granting anything other than typical Symbiot abilities. It's just there to be a cool power boost. It's not at all representative of the source material.

Now, if you wanted to say that your abilities that were similar to a symbiots, shapeshifting, strength, etc, were conveyed to the host then that'd make sense. But just "physical" or "physiological" powers is way, way too open.

Wait so you're suggesting that those who decide to go symbiote LOSE their physiological properties?

Actually now that I think about it. It's an alt-form and without some method via perks to combine forms. It actually makes logical sense for it to not pass on physiological powers of other forms to this one. Considering the possible forms a jumper could be. It would be insanely powerful for no real reason.

The only thing I can think of that would make this a little all right would be to choose your physiological composition as a really expensive bonus. But I don't think that applies to the Animated Ultimate spider man series.

But now I wonder what if jumpers are already pretty powerful and combine with someone. Wouldn't it make sense to pass on some of the more physical aspects of the power? Like raw physical abilities. And other strange powers NOT attached to a specific alt-form? Granted a jumper symbiote would have to teach their host how to use their powers. But you get the idea.
>>
>>49230722
A lot of perks are universal and not bound up in a specific alt-form, anyway. So them not working in the symbiote form wouldn't make sense.
>>
>>49230722
That's what I've been trying to explain.

And no, not necessarily. At least in the normal universe symbiotes can meld consciousnesses and share memories and knowledge with their host. So they'd just automatically know how to use all of your abilities. They can't turn into a giant mecha Godzilla, sure, but things like your super strength, reactive evolution, precognition, and even your magical abilities are well within their ability to use. You just have to allow them to do so and access the knowledge of how to use those abilities.

Is it just me or the more I read about King Crimson the less I am sure which theory is correct?

For example, the current theory is akin to lag, yes, but also video editing.

Diavolo's King Crimson is so good due to it working in conjunction in Epitaph. Epitaph shows the next seconds as kind of overlapping on each other. So let's say this way Diavolo sees he will be attacked. He starts erasing time.

To his opponent it will be like he stands still, and they are doing what the prediction said. However, they are now lagging and Diavolo actually moved somewhere else during that time, but he can't affect anything other than himself. To Diavolo, everyone has connection issues compared to him. But compared to each other, it's fine.

Now the thing is, the reason why King Crimson is that strong. Because it erases the memories of the person they don't learn that "Oh, Diavolo not moving is his ability" so they fall for it every time.

I see you, so I am pressing block. Because you are just there. But then you somehow teleported and back stabbed me.

The best way to experience King Crimson is to play Dark Souls multiplayer with shitty Kentucky Internet
>>
>>49230899
Are you legitimately trolling? You were just told how the mechanics of symbiotes work and how your own abilities work. Are you still trying to push the idea that your own abilities stop working?
>>
>>49230683
>Early in his career, Spider-Man was frequently said to have the proportional strength of a spider, but he can lift much more due to his human size and physical build, up to 10 tons. Since the events of "The Other" and "The Queen" story arcs, his strength temporarily increased to more than twice his original limits, sufficient to lift 25 tons. Due to the events of the "One More Day" story arc in which reality is altered by Mephisto as part of a deal Spider-Man makes to save the life of May Parker, his strength reverts to its original levels.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man%27s_powers_and_equipment#Enhanced_strength_and_durability

>>49230639
Thing is like spyro says >>49230722 the symbiote is an alt-form, which means you shouldn't even be able to lift 50tons unless you have the right perks, at which point it doesn't matter because those perks should still be working.

In fact that sounds like a good ruling, like I said its up to you if you want to consider even wearing the symbiote to be an alt-form or a companion or an item for jump purposes already. So depending on what you choose thats how you can change said symbiotes.
>>
>>49230907
I thought it was just GER's opposite number - GER deletes Effect to reset something to zero and KC deletes Cause to create harmless Effects for its user.
>>
>>49230933
Right, so to clarify symbiotes do not grant their hosts magic and other conceptual bullshit powers?
>>
>>49230933
And that's what I've been saying. Most perks don't rely on alt forms. They're passive boosts to YOUR abilities. The person is wearing YOU. Therefore they possess all of your passive abilities as long as they're wearing you. This means that they can cast spells by accessing your magic and casting spells through you. They can use precognition by accessing your knowledge of the future.
>>
>>49230998
>This means that they can cast spells by accessing your magic and casting spells through you. They can use precognition by accessing your knowledge of the future.
That's not what he said and that falls outside of the scope of what the cartoon symbiote does.
>>
>>49231025
The cartoon symbiote doesn't matter because the cartoon symbiote isn't a superpowered being from another dimension.
>>
>>49230907
That's okay-ish theory but KC is a bit different.

Diavolo chooses when to skip for up to 10 seconds. During this time others act as if Diavolo didn't skip time and got hit, did a thing, etc. but the actual Diavolo does what he wants. Then when time skip is complete, Diavolo is and did what the actual Diavolo did. And people's memories of erased time are gone.

Or perhaps, Diavolo normally only sees the frame of time that he pressed skip on, up till his skip ability stops working. So in that manner he would only be able to guess where other people will be. Epitaph lets him see the next moments all overlaid on top of each other, though, so just as he presses the skip button, he knows what will happen, he doesn't have to guess. This way he also knows for how long to skip for.

It feels like either Epitaph or King Crimson, one of those, were Awakened ability. Because even separately that's super good
>>
>>49230933
In the cartoon the jump is based on his base strength is 20 tons.
>>
>>49231025
>>49230979
You're not a cartoon symbiote. You are yourself, with all of your perks. Don't think of it as 'them' using the abilities. Think of it as you doing so. You are fused with someone, and you are using your abilities to the benefit of the combined being.
>>
>>49230979
>>49230998
Ok guys this sounds like two different arguments here. One is basically saying do symboints grant other bullshit powers? No. While the other guy is saying can you grant and use abilities that are not dependent on alt-forms?

At which point I say fanwank it, if I follow you correctly I don't see why not, but I think that is entirely based on other's personal opinions.
>>
>>49231053
The perks should be based off of the cartoon. The cartoon does not show the symbiote granting anything outside of the normal symbiot shit. Are you still you, sure, but a specific perk to say that you can grant others your "physiological powers" is too broad and outside of the scope of the cartoon.

It's that the time erased never happened and everything moves to the position it would've been in after the erased time. Meanwhile everyone but Diavolo is disoriented because they're suddenly in a completely different position with no notice, while Diavolo knows where he's coming out thanks to Epitaph and has unusual responses in the first place due to knowing he's effectively immune to damage since he can just erase the time it happened in. Here's a pic with a decent more in depth explanation.
>>
>>49231126
You don't even need a perk. You should be able to do it automatically by your own nature and your nature as a symbiote.
>>
>>49231058
Ok I will go with that and just have the stronger strength perks be 25-30 tons.

"In All-Star Battle, it acts similar to The World - through a counter, Diavolo creates a skipped time space in which he is free to move about and the opponent is frozen in space, but by attacking the opponent, the spell is broken. King Crimson also acts as his dash and Epitaph can be activated to allow Diavolo instant dodging without taking out his guard meter.
In Eyes of Heaven, Diavolo becomes invisible to his opponents while time is being skipped, causing the player to gradually lose stamina. The other characters will still move in the "skipped time". Furthermore, the Epitaph ability Diavolo had in All-Star Battle allowing him to dodge instantly after getting attacked returns in the form of a skill (assigned to the Square button)"

>>
>>49231054
>Because even separately that's super good
Eh, King Crimson without Epitaph is low-high tier, but Epitaph without King Crimson is middle-low to low-middle. Epitaph's main weakness is that you see ten seconds into the UNCHANGEABLE future, so if you see something bad happen to yourself you're screwed unless you can, really quickly, come up with something that technically satisfies what you saw while simultaneously keeping you safe. King Crimson without Epitaph, on the other hand, would primarily be limited by the fact that you wouldn't know what you're erasing. That's not that big a problem, however, since in a lot of situations you'd probably be able to tell when something bad is going to happen to you within the next ten seconds.
>>
>>49231095
Okay. I'm going to explain this very slowly so as to try and penetrate even your mental handicap.

You are a symbiote. A symbiote is a being which has the ability to fuse with another being, covering them with your own body and melding your consciousness with theirs. Since you're a Jumper and not an ordinary symbiote you still possess all of your abilities and perks which do NOT rely upon an alt form. In other words, all of the abilities which you can use in ANY of your forms (super strength, precognition, etc.) you'll still have in your symbiote form. Let's say that the person wearing you is attacked. Oh no! What will he do? Well, you have precognition. And you're also mind-melded to him such that you can transmit knowledge and memories directly into his mind. So, in order to avoid the attack made against him, who is wearing you, you helpfully transmit the knowledge that he's about to be attacked. He successfully dodges the attack using the information you've provided. Now, to defeat his enemy, he decides to cast a spell. He can't cast spells by himself, since he lacks the magical power and knowledge, but you can since that's not something that results from an alt form! So you transmit to his mind the information on the required incantations and/or somatic components. He chants some words and makes some gestures. You provide and shape the magical energy. He successfully casts the spell using your knowledge and magical power. The energy is defeated!

Do you understand how this works? No? Fuck you.

Based on what I remember, the book is a printing of a book found in the house of a dead guy that's a very poor analysis, pointed out in universe to be more like a synopsis than an analysis, of a movie that doesn't exist. Also, the guy who published the book, the one who's not dead, is going crazy or something and writing about it in the margins.

What's with the budding perk? It seems like symbiotes can already propagate from just a sliver of the original in the show.

Huh so Mother Russia Bleeds and Hotline Miami apparently take place in the same universe...somehow. I don't know why but apparently bits of lore and easter eggs about HM are in Mother Russia Bleeds. Also made by the same devs. So...I don't really know how this changes anything but I just wanted to share what I knew from people talking about the game since it's out on steam.

Also Secret Saturdays and Ben 10 take place in the same universe too. Somehow. Omniverse is weird.

Also Mass Effect Andromeda. Do you think it warrants its own jump? Or should it just be left alone? Doubt its getting a sequel. If this isn't a runaway hit Bioware might shut down.

House of Leaves is this...novel. I wanted to call it a horror novel, and while there are definite aspects of that, it's not just a horror novel. Still very scary, though. The idea (once you penetrate the multiple layers of metacommentary, the book is the personal notes of someone reviewing a literary critique of a paper about a series of videos that probably don't exist) is that there's this house, that's bigger on the inside than the outside. And it's growing. Eventually, it becomes this huge, non-Euclidian labyrinth. And it's not confirmed, the creature is never explicitly seen and it's possible it's just the characters being paranoid, but there's probably a minotaur in there. And it is fucking terrifying. A big part of it is that House of Leaves does some very interesting things with typesetting and layout to control the pacing. Like, in the really tense moments when things are happening fast, the number of lines on a page go down as it progresses, to the point where eventually each page has only a single line, and then a single word, and you're tearing through the novel faster and faster and it is CHILLING. Or how when characters are out of their wits and not thinking straight, some pages are printed sideways, or upside down, or diagonal, so that you have to turn and twist the book to read it properly, and it feels all disjointed. It's a great book, but it really has to be experienced personally (and in paper form, too, it adds so much to the experience to have a physical book to hold).

compared to the other fate jumps, FGO is more powerful on average. the others only 'guarantee' a certain amount of trouble, such as a single grail war, or a specific dead apostle.

grand order technically has 8 grail wars going on at the same time, not counting events.

What do you mean?
>>
>>49231579
You mean like how Eternal Darkness would mess with the player by having the insanity effects be directed at making them think something was wrong with their machine, instead of just spooky things? That whole screwing with the interface between audience and narrative? If so, yes.

Okay, so all of Stephen King's books take place in the same literary universe. In addition, King has contributed to the Lovecraft mythos. Does this mean that if I jump Lovecraft I can witness the events of the Shining, Children of the Corn, etc. if I pick the correct time period?

Chariot of Boudica: Chariot Without Promised Protection (A) is the Noble Phantasm of Boudica. The chariot supposedly comes with two famous horses. As a symbol of defending Britannia, it is very tough.

Activation of this Noble Phantasm summons forth the chariot to protect Boudica and her allies. Being blessed by the Celtic gods, this chariot has flight capability, but it is not powerful when rammed into enemies. Its proper use should be as a "shield" to protect companions.

Sword of Boudica: Sword Without Promised Victory (A)
is the one-handed sword of Boudica said to be "crowned with the name of 'victory'" like Boudica herself, but it is not a holy sword of the planet that brings promised victory. It is only an "imperfect sword of wishes."

It has the ability to shoot out a small mana projectile, not strong enough to kill a Servant in one hit but able to be fired repeatedly and at a low, convenient cost. This can be activated without calling its true name. By unleashing its true name, it can fire a barrage of mana projectiles

I was a servant once so I know the drill here basically, Im going to help Boudoca and fight with her and use my jumper powers to make sure she survives even if my code of ethics doesnt allow me to outright cheat at the moment. I can still take and teach her some better ways to fight.
>>
I adore how Yoshikage Kira thinks like a jumper.

"What's that? One stand limit? Well okay! I will get a stand user somewhere with me, like my dad. Boom, two stands! Oh wait, my punch ghost isn't enough, how about an ability that acts like a second autonomous stand but only lets my first stand punch and stuff? Genius! That's like three stands! Let's put this plant cat stand in my stand! FOUR! How do I abuse the system more...? Okay I will just stab myself with arrow again, see what happens!!

Another fantasy world to conquer. Ho hum.

Now that we have an real country again, I've decided to put Terms and Conditions from Kingdom Hearts to use by building confessional booths. They force anyone inside to truthfully speak a list of all crimes they've committed but haven't been convicted for by my government. I figure we can run the population through the things on a seaonal-to-biyearly basis. Terezi claims that it makes her job too easy, but she can still investigate high willpower criminals who can overcome the compulsion (or high willpower individuals who are give false confessions) and round up confessional dodgers.

Valeria specifically gave permission for him to do this, as well as saying that she likely wouldn't do FGO in a reasonable amount of time. Also, it's not like they're absolute masterpieces. With sufficient practice and criticism, he should be able to reach her level.
