In my 7th sea game the party is planning to fight Villanova. In order to get an edge, they've started hunting for Syrneth artifacts.
My problem is that the party is already pretty powerful, so I'm not entirely sure Villanova can take them, at least in his own. If I give them any artifacts, it will just make them too overpowered for the fight to be interesting.
Now I need some artifacts that aren't too geared towards combat but won't feel like a waste of time to look for.
