Giant Warrior-Lady Showdown Edition

Writefagging last time:

If you want ANYTHING to go in the repo, just summon me. Otherwise I will only put writefagging and sheets in the repo.

Also, I added the blank template to the ALL FLAKESHEETS folder. And the old snowsheets are under "Snowstorm sheets" > "1- ALL FLAKE SHEETS."

To summon me simply say
>OP OP, I SUMMON THEE. PLACE THIS FILE IN THE REPOSITORY.
Unless that's too gay.

New story up: Torch of Defiance, by Doug Beyer.

TEZZERET CONFIRMED, BOYOS. And Chandra having a believable reaction to going back to Kaladesh, nice. Liliana's personality is shining, even if Chandra going non-violent is a bit wonky. Then again, brutally burning people alive might be a bit much for the audience, so I can excuse it.

Besides counterspells and being very tough, what ways to defend against hostile magic are there? If you are a wizard and Chandra is right in front of you and in a murderous rage for some reason, how do you stop her from incinerating you on the spot?
>>
>>49184934
You act faster than her and somehow stun or kill her before she can kill you. Or you run away, that might work too. You could also try to throw something in the way of it.
>>
>>49184978
That's pretty shit, desu.

I didn't expect the setting to be so lethal. I suppose the inflated life totals and inability for most burn to go face in gameplay has lead me to believe otherwise.
>>
>>49184934
I don't know if it counts as countermagic, but putting up a wall would be pretty effective. Or hiding behind minions. Anything fleshy to take the brunt of the damage.

>>49184934
You're thinking of in game mechanics. The lore is different in actual story form. In game the only thing you can do is swerve or counter the fire, but basic logic applies in story.
A geomancer like Koth could raise the ground like a wall to stop the fire, A lithomancer like Nahiri could do the same, a shadow mage like Liliana or a pain mage like Tibalt could make her hurt enough that she can't focus on casting the spell. Large gusts of wind can spread the flame out harmlessly, or you could counter the flame with your own. A teleporting mage like Venser could just 'pfft' his way to safety. Etc.Etc.
There's a lot of basic, easy ways to deal with Chandra throwing fire at you.
Hell Jace's "counterspell" to stop Chandra's torrent of flame in their duel deck is to throw an equal amount of water on it.
>>
>>49185123
So instead of actual counterspells, use spells that counter theirs or that prevent them from casting, got it.

Seems like wasted design space: defensive wards, equipment for the player instead of your creatures, stuff like that. I mean, there's some, but still.

Typically wards and the like come in the form of white's "Prevent X of that damage" circle's of protection, and anything that says "Fuck non-combat damage" like pic related or things that redirect damage like Palisade giant
>>
>>49185234
So white and blue are the only colors that actually care about defensive magic? Black kinda does too with their -x/-x, green just makes theirs fukhueg, and red is red.

>During each round, flakes will be assigned to random opponents in single-elimination tournament fashion.
>Flakes will be treated as though they are all neowalkers in order to create a balance of power.
>Flakes with meme-levels of power will be treated as though they weren’t.
>Flakes that directly contradict lore, especially by going against or interacting inappropriately with canon characters, will be disqualified.
>Flakes that are joke or troll flakes will be disqualified. The use of silver-bordered cards in a flake’s preferred spell list automatically disqualifies them.

>During the first round, all flakes will be placed into the roster randomly. Flakes that are disqualified will give their random opponents a bye for the round.
>During the first round, flakes will be revealed in smaller groups, noting disqualifications and asking the thread if they wish to disqualify anyone else.

>During each round, small groups of flake match-ups will be revealed
>Arguments will take place in the thread and votes will be taken from the polls over which flake is likely to prevail over the other.
>After each round, the flakes that move on will be re-randomized on the roster to make match-ups unpredictable.

>Match-Up rules will treat both competing flakes in a match as though they are both forced into conflict with the other, and neither is allowed to planeswalk away until a winner is determined. Flakes will be treated as though they start with zero assisting summons and will not have prepared for this encounter.

I'm Dyna's creator, and I have to say Serena would probably come out on top unless she was very foolish and tried to melee with Dyna without taking advantage of her aerial mobility, which I don't think she'd do even at full REE. She's a smaller target than the dragons Dyna usually grapples, and while Dyna's punches would be devastating a winged humanoid is actually a pretty bad matchup for her.

Serena would probably be surprised to discover Dyna CAN into ranged combat, though, even though her idea of ranged combat is to summon another giant and THROW IT AT YOU.
>>
>>49185964

Why a giant tho. You could fling her something more fling-able. The odd Mogg. A Myr Battlephere. Angry Murdock. Whatever.
Or just swing a dragon by the tail like a flail. Like in that renaissance book, the Morgante.
>>
>>49186051

Dyna's used to throwing giants around. It's a good way to establish dominance as a foreign giant. She's heard of aerodynamics and decided she wanted no part in it.

She would, and indeed probably has, done the dragon-flail at some point, though.

DISCUSS!
>>
>>49186700
>Pog VS Venn
HOLY SHIT
A FIGHT VENN CAN WIN

I have this terrible feeling Venn is going to luck his way through this whole Ice Age.
>>
>>49186700
Aw, dammit. Missed the voting time. Fuck.
>>
>>49186757
The more rounds that go by, the stronger all of the remaining flakes will be. Luck can only get you so far, and after this round there won't be any non-combat flakes that survived by first round disqualifications.
>>
>>49186762
I for one am happy about it, sorry!
>>49186700
That was close, wasn't it. Iceman, I'll be damn disappointed if no Serena vs Murdock happens!

>Pog vs Venn
Basically a thief and a policeman. I'll give this to the cop- Venn is just stronger in my opinion, and Pog is, conversely, not strong enough.

>ussa vs Ygraine
With due respect, but Ygraine is not in the same weight category. Literally. Ussa takes it home easily.

>Huija VS Tomiko
I didn't remember Huijia to be this scary! By the way, both are non-combat focused flakes, and Huijia is definitely the biggest and more powerful of them. He takes it.

>Tok VS Sydhar
Tok has been living on Jund and in post-apoc Dominaria. Given he also apparently went to zendikar, he basically has been dwelling in every variarion of Fantasy Australia you can think of. His adversary isn't just tough enough for him I believe.
>>
>>49186934
pog gets buff from his own spells and summons though
>>
>>49186700
>Pog VS Venn
I dunno, I feel this could actually be a good matchup. Pog seems to be the more creative of the two and specializes in ambush tactics and traps. Venn is larger and stronger, but also seems to be more of a blacksmith than an actual fighter. I think neither of these flakes are the most combat oriented, nor the most skilled. And were they in a party together, their skills would complement one another. But 1v1? They both have some pretty obvious weaknesses that their opponent can expose, so really it comes down to timing and luck. This match is a tossup.

>Huija VS Tomiko
Holy shit. I didn't realize how much of a druggy Tomiko was. Huija clearly has the natural advantage here, being a giant. And Tomiko isn't mentioned or known to be abnormally fast. Honestly, she'd probably poison Huija and he would slowly die from the deadly toxins, or his larger-than-normal physique would save him. But it wouldn't kill him quickly enough to prevent him from stepping on Tomiko. Huija wins.

>Tok VS Sydhar
Both of these flakes are rather non-combative. But I think Sydhar, with his greater experience, knowledge, and wider spell selection, takes it.

>Ygraine VS Ussa
I want to give Ygraine the benefit of the doubt, since she is supposedly a strong caster. But Ussa has hypno-magic, size, and strength on Ygraine. She also has some decent casting of her own. I don't think Ygraine stands a chance.
>>
>>49187237
> Huija vs Tomiko
> Mountain vs Red Viper
Tomiko better bring a helmet.
>>
>>49186700
>Pog vs Venn
as much as Venn has race and martial skill advantage, good god pog's casting abilities are off the charts, he's got a fucking demigod on there. That may not matter much in card format, but in-lore those cycle bundles from the lorwyn/shadowmoor block are litteraly lesser gods, and should not be taken lightly.

>Huija vs Tomiko
I'm pretty sure Tomiko was one of the guys that got by on a pass, so it's not surprising to see it outclassed on every front. I imagine we might see a good fer of these kinds of battles for round 2.

>Tok vs Sydhar
The fungus has significantly better synergies with all his spells and he's got what appears to be a bit of a race advantage. Sydhar has some pretty solid power behind his casting, but he has little room to grow in single-battlefield instances, whereas tok has lots of room to grow. Tok gets this one.

>Ussa vs Ygraine
I had a different argument prepared, but was actually completely unaware of segovia's gimmick. Ussa gets it. I don't know about Ussa's actual casting ability, we for the most part only have understanding of her creature casting ability and her written thing doesn't explore too deeply this hypnosis magic I hear her having, but the monsters she summons are much stronger than the at outlandishly best child-sized "giant", so Ussa takes this.

It's mostly the backwards country bumpkin parts of Indica that has that problem, just like how most of Europe kept doing the chamber pot out the window thing until they fully installed plumbing.

So industrializing India is still better than industrializing Europe, because at least then the shit didn't fall from the sky.

Speaking of "I was doing (thing) and now UR has done it," I actually had to check and see if I put my Gideon vs. Chandra fight up anywhere because I had the exact same conclusion as last week's story: slam him into the ground so he can't get out in my story Chandra gloated and flirted with him because I'm awful and take the win. I don't think I've discussed Venn's combat skills. He does have some formal swordsmanship training, but not enough to be a master. Not to mention his magic is all about reforging metal to suit his needs.

In direct combat, he's not all that great, but when you can forge a Sword of War and Peace from a random clue you might be set.

Granted, the issue is that he's a bit on the hotheaded side. Easily goaded.

How does he influence lore? Isn't he mainly R&D? If anything, I'd say the reason the lore is so shit is because investors want to appeal to more PC/"friendly" audiences.
Like, the main complaint I hear about the new lore move is that "the cast is unbelievable" and while I do have some problems with it, like the removal of Elspeth for Gideon and Garruk for Nissa, I don't mind it as a whole. It's FANTASY. It's not MEANT to be believable; and honestly, having a 1:1 with male:female characters and racial diversity is cool. Sure, it's happening all in one go and it feels a little forced, but I think that's mostly because they're trying to make up for lost time.
>>
>>49189905
>>49190066
Mark IS R&D, he has nothing to do with lore except "Make a good plane for our characters to explore." He designs Zendikar and Landfall, not write Teeth of Akoum for instance.

Otherwise he wouldn't be so salty about not finishing Weatherlight the way he wanted.
>>
>>49190066
Addendum: SOI had lazy storywriting, but they're not exactly employing top-notch writers. I don't mind it for the most part, but when something bothers me I just ignore it or come up with my own thing.
>>

>>
>>49190222
he has caused people to leave the threads, atleast that makes him pure shit in my eyes
>>
>>49190161
But most of the characters in MtG are completely solid characters. They're not designed to be these fantastic, deeply thought-out characters for adults to look at and say "that there is a good character," they're designed for a card game for children and the lore fleshes them out enough that it keeps the target audience engaged. The lore isn't designed for super-deep analysis of heavy shit like time travel; it's designed for "you know what's cool? Time travel/steampunk/gothic horror/ etc. etc." And building on that enough to engage people and little more.
>>
>>49190222
Neah, I'm a pretty swell guy irl and actively go out of my way to help people all the time. I just don't take crap from people and don't let people crap on others, and 4chan has always been full of that. But, meh. You can have whatever opinion you have of me. You're entitled to it, friendo.

>>
>>49190273
I never said they were bad, I just want them to be better. I want the effort they use for ensuring racial and gender diversity (among other things, and there's nothing wrong with any of those) to also go into better writing.

Exactly as I feel about most people. You Nishal-anon, I know fuck all about you, yeah, but I still want you to be a better person.
>>
>>49190273
Now man I get all you say. But allow me to make a comparison. Did you see Suicide Squad? SPOILER ALERT!
rant
You know how badly that movie sucks? Because of a thing called "suspension of disbelief". In which it fails completely, because I get it, superheroes doing super things is cool and all, I went there to see people punching each other and not for the deepest lore. As such, i can accept most of the shit like Diablo spouting fire from his hands because I subsume to the laws of superhero stories and take for good that some things just exists. HOWEVER. The moment you show me a villain destroy a train in ONE punch, and then he hits Shiva, Boomerang and the rest of the crew without opening fucking gaping holes in their bellies, my suspension of disbelief falls. In the moment in which you tell me that to kill the aztec god we need to use the bomb that no one had ever mentioned being buried just below it, every pretense of consistency within the movie itself, not between reality and the movie, fails.
What magic is doing is somewhat this. Continuously being inconsistent with itself nad breaking my suspension of disbelief.

Except I don't trust them to show up to ttrpg sessions.
>>
>>49190784
There is some backlash about Innocence that is mostly due to the fact that it does nto follow the comics book: it was entirely written by Mamoru Oshii instead of being based on Masamune's script. It also does some actual jumping around while seemingly holding informations that tends to confuse people a bit. However, Oshii proves himself to be a fucking genius once again. Especially when ti comes to the scenes and camera movement, that man never fucks around. On this line I also feel I'd reccomened the other great masterpiece of Masamune that is a manga called Appleseed and if you manage to find it and own it I will stalk you and kill you for it.
And why, thanks for the trust. It is a pleasure really.
>>49190805

>>
>>49190411
I tend to avoid DC movies for that reason, yeah. And I totally get what you mean, BFZ and SOI were both really bad for that and it was super lazy how they solved the BBEG problems. I don't like the eldrazi so I don't mind that they're gone, but I do wish that they would have done it better. But I don't see how the fine details of that was MaRo's fault.

Anyways I'm heading out for a deckbuilder's league get together thing, so I won't be responding much for a few hours
>>
>>49191086
Yesh. Well, there are two anime movies based around the manga that were made simultaneously. And they are pretty old, the first was in 1979 I believe. But, the animation holds up rather well and the stories of the two films are amazing. If you can get them on DVD, I highly recommend it especially if you like GitS.
>>
>>49191086
Oh, and I also recommend Wueen Emeraldas as well. Leiji Matsumoto knows his way around a good story.
>>
>>49191135
I don't think they are, however he is kinda one of the bosses there. And he himself admitted that they , as in all them, even himself, did wrong with a lot of stuff lately.
>>49191138
>if you like GitS.
I took a turn toward french comics, but the reason I decided to do this job is because I saw that movie. It is not that I like it, I actually owe it my life- hell, my thesis for the high school diploma was abotu the phylosopy behind Gits!
And, thanks for the advice. I'll see what I can do about it.
>>
>>49191223
No problem. The funny thing is, Galaxy Express was the first anime film I ever saw in the early early 90's and it ended up being my favorite by a long shot. From there I watched GitS, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, and it just spiraled downward from there. It's not very well known, but I try to get anime fans to check it out. Shit just might make you cry towards the end.

Yeah, she's really good, but nerfed by the fact that she's not blue in what would become the blue standard.
In fact, the fact that she's red with no good red means she won't break standard in half like Jace did.

And right after I typed that I remembered that JTMS wasn't the last time we got a 4 ability walker.
In that case, she's better than the last one.
>>
>>49202680
>>49202686
Poor garruk. Destined to never be remembered- even tho his first incarnation was solid gold for a while.
Also pardon, but we still don't know if there is no other good red in standard. You gotta wait for the rest of the current set, if anything. Anyway, don't count on me for evaluating any card that is not black.
>>
So wait, if I've played a land and the top card exiled with nuChandra is also a land, can I cast the land card anyways or do I have to do the 2 damage?
>>
>>49202722
I suppose I said that wrong. For best Chandra here to be JTMS levels of standard breaking, her +abilities would need to do 3 damage or add RRR to your mana pool respectively, and red would need Bolt back, all with something like your next turn's drop to be Thunderbreak Regent or Uradrask the Hidden or something of that tier.
As it stands, unless they go completely nuts within the next few weeks, she's fine.

I know the guy who wrote last weeks "masterpiece" was responsible for Legion in Mass Effect 2 and a few misc things in Mass Effect 1.
>>
>>49204780
Ah ok

its mostly curiosity of how they are getting there.

Its like seeing flies pop up in a closed jar. Who are these people/ where did they come from/ how did they get here?

Also it seems there gate watch plan worked. The story postings are breaking records in pageviews and story awareness is at an all time high. Why do you think this is and what should be wotc's next step from here?
>>
>>49205001
They have main characters and the POV isn't flying all over the place anymore. As much as /tg/ hates it, the Gatewatch does it's job well, though there's no token minority yet Koth for sixth ranger when he shows up chasing Tezzeret at the end of Aether Revolt?
Now that they have heroes, that have proven that they can be wildly successful Ulamog and Kozilek as well as devastatingly unsuccessful Emrakul, all Wizards needs to do is properly put up Bolas as the Gatewatch's villain since New Phyrexia is going to get nuked and should have stayed dead in the 90s where they belong, and they'll have all their bases covered.
>>
>>49205142
Chandra is technically Indian but she has o look like Felicia day because diversity is only on the menu when its in the background.

The only way to stop her is when Nissa links up with her again like in bfz, thus giving Chandra the peace of mind she was craving in last week's UR among other things.

Meanwhile, pyromancy is once again solidly feared and banned, and Chandra's a most wanted fugitive.

I feel like Kaladesh might be a good case where "FIGHT THE POWER" turns out to not be so great as it sounded, and possibly a lesson to Chandra about what "big sis Liliana" is really like when Lil doesn't give a shit that everything got WORSE after the revolt.
>>
>>49208014
My only problem with that idea is that then there will be even less of a chance that they'll fug.

Though, I think it's safe to say Chandra is rapidly becoming Lili's replacement for Jace, since he wants less and less to do with her every day.
>>
>>49208069

Frankly I'd rather Chandra hooked up with Nissa anyway if we're going that route. Liliana's just being way too overtly a bad influence for me to feel any investment in her luring Chandra to explore her secret swamp.

Plus, Chandra and Nissa trying to set Liliana up with somebody, Chandra because she thinks her friends need to get laid and Nissa to keep that skank away from her girl. There's comedy to be had there.

That being said, there's more than enough room for a couple nights on Kaladesh of Black/Red lesbiciousness.
>>
>>49208354
I picked my character's colors in full first, and got the spells for those colors. Mechanics-second, always and forever.
>>
>>49208354

Izari has red and Blue tendencies because she's from Grixis. Because of that, I'd be ok with her using Phyrexian mana spells it hybrid spells if they also touched G or B, so G/R or U/B hybrid for example. The spell still has to be flavorful.
>>
>>49208014
Gods, yes.
Basically what I have gathered from the URs is: there is a plane in which everyone gets the plane's mcguffin resource in quantities dependant on their needs and actual skills. But there is a group of (Red aligned) rebels who decided arbitrarily that they should have more of this carefully rationed resource for no other reason than self entitlement, and we are supposed to root for them.

Crash the fuck outta them Baan. No survivors.

>I only say this because Liliana cannot possibly have a happy ending
Are you implying that a relationship between her and Chandra WOULDN'T be incredibly tempestuous, abusive, and hot as hell? That's not the kind of relationship that ends on a happy note.

>>49208817
I'm pretty sure, by what I was reading in Chandra's Origin story, that the consuls are so communist it doesn't work, because not everyone has equal needs, situations, or abilities. I'm pretty sure the rebels are going to be shown to be more in the right, just not entirely in the right.

Also, Baan a shit.

>>49208354
>and we've pretty well seen that Chandra is RB based on her "burn it all" attitude
I think that attitude got retconned a little with this last UR. She was hesitant to fry the guards. Whereas, say, in the Purifying Fire she was quite ok to annihilate a cavern full of law mages and demolish their temple to boot.

I picked Symon's colours because he started as a bit of a self-insert and I've got a raging boner for Simic, but I think he'd either develop into Sultai or Bant colours depending on whether he was more of an antagonist or protagonist.

The Bant coloured Symon would be more of a protector, promoting harmony with wild beasts and training/adapting them for use within civilised races.

The Sultai one, which I'm more tempted to work up a card for, was going to be a morbidly curious biomancer, taking what he found useful from the beasts of each plane. He'd use his biomancy to create mutants designed to perform specific tasks for the highest bidder, and only be fond of those that proved successful in their tasks. Pic related was the closest image I could find for what I'd have him look like.

DISCUSS!
>>
>>49212184
>Iohannes vs Ka
That's some big fight isn't it. I am still going to give it to Ka cause he is incredibly strong, even tho Iohannes got some serious bling with him.

>Naran vs Eliasr
Can the huntress take out the assassin? They both specialize in big game hunting, I really wouldn't know who to call stronger though.

>Perselus VS Arkhesh
Perselus is angry. Angry about Emrakul! And he is far mroe fighty than the elf scientist is, so I'll give it to the Eldrazi wanker

>Ariadne VS Albin
Wannabe hero is confronted with actual mythological heroic creature. Wannabe hero loses and I get a change for angelicide in the next round. Profit.
>>
>>49212184
>Iohannes vs Ka
Time to breAK SOME BONES. I must count my lucky stars that he don't got pacifism, this skeletal fucker's going down. Removal I can manage and counter, Ka'koarm'a used to people of all sorts wanting him dead and as such is familiar with the mechanics of kill spells. Skeleton knights swarming him might be a problem at first, but after enough frustration at the swarm Ka could use his anger to start outmassing them and powderizing them. Iohannes is the kind of white I do not fear, because a head-on fight is a fight Ka can win.

>Naran vs Ellisar
I don't think this is much of a challenge in Ellisar's favor. As much as I dislike him and his composition, I must admit his being the superior combatant, in both physical and magical regards here.

>Perselus vs Arkhesh
I'm going to abstain from commenting on this. While I do think the mind mage has a disadvantage here in this fight against an eldrazi caster, I also admit that I would be at a great disadvantage were she to win, and as such my comments against her might come off as trying to dissuade a future loss. will flip a coin on this vote contrary to my opinion as to who should win this fight.

>Ariadne vs Albin
Sorry albin, you may be a bird, but you are not the king of the skies here, I'm pretty certain the angel has this fight. She might be slower in air, but albin seems to be very young and not super strong or tough, so Ariadne can just keep nicking at him until he's too weak to outrun, then swoop in for the victory.
>>
>>49212184
>Iohannes IV VS Ka'Koarm
No clue here. I leave this to the experts.

>Naran VS Elisar
Elisar seems primarily Esper, and Naran is specifically anti-control - she even has some artifact removal in her sample spells. I think this is a good matchup for Naran.

>Perselus VS Arkhesh
I really have no idea about this one. I'm fuzzy on what Arkhesh is trying to do, combat-wise. Despite Perselus being one of my flakes, I don't have a particular fondness for him, but I'd still probably give him this one.

>Ariadne VS Albin
My dislike for Legacy is outweighed by my dislike for custom races, so the angel gets this one. Couldn't he have just been an aven?

>Iohannes IV VS Ka'Koarm
Gonna give this one to the angry fish. Lich-king is no slouch, but I feel he's probably not as magically powerful what with being dead and borrowing his late wizard friend's powers.

>Naran vs Ellisar
I feel like this matchup is actually in Naran's favor; aggressive RG types tend to be bad news for artifact-users.

>Perselus VS Arkhesh
I feel like Arkhesh has the advantage here, partially because Perselus is out of his goddamn mind and mad determination is all he's really got (and his summoned Eldrazi) while she can, y'know, make plans and control things.

>Ariadne Vs Albin
Not declaring "Sword of War and Peace, Araidne facerolls Albin," because that'd be cheap, but looking at the two of them I'd say a Serra Angel trumps Albin pretty hard physically and I don't see Albin's spells evening those odds.
>>
>>49212184
>Io vs Ka
After reviewing their sheets again, I'm giving this to Ka. Reality altering powers, no matter how unstable, is still a huge advantage. Not to mention he's FUCK HUEG and stronk.

>Ellisar vs Naran
I'll be straight with you. It's late, and Ellisar has a wall of text. I'm not reading that. At least not now. I'll vote on it in the morning, if at all.

The rest of the sheets I will read in the morning. It's late.

So i had this concept for an interplanar war; where basically Bolas starts fucking with the multiverse leading to planes crashing into eachother like conflux on a bigger scale , think Incursions from marvel or crisis from dc.

So i wanted to ask which two planes would be the best picks for a "vs" story?

I was thinking tarkir vs alara because they have a natural synergy (tri-color) it lets you do a story about Trakir coming together to face off an invasion and because tri color sets are so thin design space wise, you can cram two of them into one block and not have it be so bloated (see: ravnica)

I have no idea how /t/g really does this so any help would be appreciated.

thanks.
>>
>>49222423
>Maro fishing for ideas.png
Anyway, Tarkir is currently murdered tri-colorwise, so in theory it'd probably work with the first set being Alara and the second set being Tarkir after the enemy colors appeal to the humanoid brood

I would also want Kaladesh to try and colonize Zendikar.

You underestimate how high the numbers can go.

>>49221397
It's kind of hard to explain, but I'll do my best. The first measurements are her actual measurements, and the second set of measurements are the first set scaled down proportionately to an average height (in this case, 5'6"). The reason I do this is to make the measurements easier to visualize. It's usually not necessary unless a character is tall enough, and Bavara pretty much barely counts as "tall enough", in my opinion. It's way more useful when dealing with races or characters that are 7'+, though.
>>
>>49222538
Okay, that makes perfect sense.
>Can't find any examples of that size not on landwhales.
Scary. I also suck at measurements. How do you even know what those mean.
>>
>>49222575
>>Can't find any examples of that size not on landwhales.
Try looking for Japanese models specifically. Chances are if they're stacked like that in Japan it's just due to natural gifts, unlike the west where everyone is obese.
>How do you even know what those mean.
It literally took me years. Don't worry about the measurements too much, they're basically just there for anyone who likes having those things quantified (like myself).
>>
>>49222694
Fair enough.
I've heard people claim that the cup size by itself in these situations are useless on a "D-cup doesn't mean she's particularly busty" sort of way.
But I've always thought the cup size was determined by how much boob there is, so someone who needs a D will always have more boob than someone who has an A, especially if they have the same band size.
Is that right or wrong?
>>
Didn't take as long as I thought.

>>49222497
You see anon, in the British equivalent of a ghetto one must purchase electricity and insert it into the metre, if you run out your stuff turns off and you have to buy more. It's because areas like here aren't trusted to pay their bills so you have to pay as you go.

>>49222575
Don't worry, I don't know what those mean either, apart from the first one. I just buy clothes.
>>
>>49222779
>someone who needs a D will always have more boob than someone who has an A especially if they have the same band size.
Yes, that's basically correct.
Another thing that confuses matters when it comes to finding models for some of the larger sizes is that a lot of models will give outright misleading numbers for the band size. Instead of just putting down their band size and cup size, they'll add the band and the cup together and count that as the band. For example, let's say some model is a 36E. If she's a lying harlot, instead of putting down 36E, she'll put down 41E (since "E" denotes 5 inches, and 36+5=41). So the best way is just to look at a ton of tits.

>>49222472
well the way I had it; Bolas basically weaponzied the Conflux and SHOT the shards of alara at Tarkir so in response the Dragon Brrods fight back against the shards while dealing with the Khan uprisisng at the same time.

It would end with tarkir fighting off Alara by signing a 'Dragonpact' basically a treaty or kurultai between dragons and khans that set up a system of rules and operations; akin to all the various mostly Independent Khanates of the Mongol empire being under one nominal framework.
>>
>>49223339

>>49223342

>>
>>49223391
It's a direct follow up from the events of Dragons of Tarkir and conflux, what are you talking about?

The disparate fighting groups being forced to unite against a common enemy is a classic storyline; and it fits for a Mongol Khanate styled plane to have that element of wheeling and dealing and alliances and politics that was such a core element of that culture.

Its like going from gothic horror to Cosmic Horror; you are taking an element used in the first showing and then expanding it into new space.

You have these ten groups that are all fighting eachother and now they have to come together with gritted teeth just to survive.

Khans and Dragons forced together in a very tenous peace in order to hot get rekt.
