How could a peasant who out of sudden decided to be a hero, in a setting where heroes are seen the same way we see Batman, achieve his goal?

100 pushups
100 situps
10 km jog
Every day.
Ruthless and vicious cunning.
Your weapons are smeared with poison. You don't have poison? Well any filth you have at hand from pig entrails to human shit will do.
You don't have a spear? You take your knife and tie it to a pole.
You don't have any weapons at all? Well, you can take some steel wire, sneak up on a man and crush their windpipe.
You set traps. Each trap is brutally simple and effective. You can make a cartridge trap out of a bullet and a nail. You can make a simple trip trap out of fishing line. You can dig pits and put snakes in them.
Your enemies will not see a warrior attacking. All they will see before they die will be a common peasant or traveling monk.
You will blind your enemies with sand and iron filings.
You will find allies in secret meetings and attack in overwhelming numbers against isolated opponents. No man has the strength of 10.
You will stuff your clothing with silk padding.
You will set fire to the enemy encampment in the dead of night.

Sounds more like Vietcong than a hero.

>implying most PCs don't Vietcong the fuck out of bad guys anyway
Adventuring and being a hero isn't a clean business. People die. It's a very real danger to a character for them to go out adventuring. It's brutal, dangerous, and downright disgusting most times. Most PCs that actually survive for a reasonable amount of time know how to Vietcong a group of baddies.

Be happy I didn't suggest going full chaotic evil and synthesizing mustard gas out of the extremely easily accessible sulfur, chlorine and ethylene gases.
