I just like metal, and as distinct elements they have their own completely unique taste. I also worked in a scrapyard for while and learned to tell metal apart by how it smells. Warm copper or brass is quite relaxing, but aluminum smells kinda sour. I also like the smell of embalming fluid and other chemical stuff, but I know my preferences are unusual. I don't really think there are "good" or "bad" tastes or smell. Those senses exist to give information and I enjoy them all.

Rip and Tear seems to be a viable strategy in these universes.

Well, I'm a shapeshifter, so... it doesn't REALLY matter. But aside from my base form -- which, due to perks, has been rendered into some kind of furry elven plant cat -- I also use certain altforms for different situations.

Kirby's Haltmann Employee is pretty nice when I feel like kicking back and being surrounded by Waddle Dees. It's basically my, "Okay, I'm going to use Dees to do a thing while manually directing them!" form... which is to say, it's used in non-serious situations for laid back fun.
I sometimes turn into a Mimiga when I want to flop around and be all lazy. Basically a small fluffball. I can also use Cardcaptor's Guardian form for that, as well. Or, y'know, be a cat.
And when I want to do something villainous but don't want to have it traced back to my identity, I usually pick a robot altform, like from Ratchet & Clank, or the Foggernaut, or even Neopets's Robot Hissi.
Spyro's Dragon form is for "I'm going to crush you with my foot", whereas Star War's Gen'Dai is more for "Eldritch Monstrousity". I, uh, may have made some modifications to the Gen'Dai.
And then the Lucario form is... well. I don't use that form a whole lot.

Demonreach is actually just a super ancient and powerfull genius loci. The enchantments protecting the island are separate (though he has some administrative control) and he is not actually an enchantment. Though he probably does get quite a power boost from Merlin's wards and the leyline produced by all those negative vibes. Pick up the genius loci spell from d&d and with enough time you could eventually raise/make something of comparable strength. Summoning/conjuration boosts would give a boost your new genius loci right from the start but it'll still take time. You could also use Sage from Demonsouls and the Altocrystarium from FF Type 0 to level up the spell and change its parameters to make something like Demonreach.

Personally, my favorite shapeshifting mash-up buy comes from Dungeons and Dragons. Take a shot.

Doppelganger comes with a lot of really neat stuff already and isn't horribly expensive. Then you can take Warshaper Prestige Class right out of the gate. Tack on the Chameleon Prestige Class and you've got yourself some of the best shapeshifting versatility I can think of.

I'm sure a Jumper with a little time and effort could stretch the combination into doing basically the same thing as Final Form from SAO no problem. Especially with a learning perk or two.

I have over 300 jumps in this chain and Im mostly crafting or enchanting oriented with time stop and time altering powers just to pull off bullshit like this. Byakugan and sharingan eyes mixed with identify and future vision eyes so I can get a general idea of what does what ahead of time and fma alchemy along with journey to the west alchemy to poof up stuff as needed, if I need some quick dirty weapons.

NPs are very iffy things in general, but in some respects, yes you could copy them with enough tricks, but imho, it won't have the Weight of the actual NPs and thus won't be able to compete with them at full scale. Like how while Excalibur and Ea are considered equal, Excalibur just plain loses out against Ea even at a lower output.

So a planet is basically an eldritch deity, somewhere between a Great Old One and an Outer God in reality-bending power. The thing they're made of is so incomprehensible, it's referred to as "Mystery" by other characters; that's the thing people are always talking about when they refer to the conceptual strength of stuff-deeper mysteries=more conceptual power, as a general rule. Mystery composes all aspects of reality generated by a planet, and is essentially the conceptual building blocks that let things like gravity and air and earth and mortal lifespans and emotion be a thing.

The existence of Heroic Spirits is, in short, a byproduct of the planet's farts reacting in response to an emergent property of sentient life developing on it in ages past; the actual Heroic Spirits are stored in an extradimensional archive and the summoned ones are, basically, simulacrae generated by said archive through the holy grail war's magical process. Basically, they're a kind of spirit than run on their masters' magical energy (Except for Arturia, but she's not relevant to the point I'm meandering towards) but not quite the same thing as magic, since certain NPs can pierce through what is considered magic in the context of Nasuland.

You have to use an Alchemic Circle to use Alchemy, most State Alchemists use some sort of pre-prepared Circle on gloves or something.
Clap-Alchemy is a special thing which means you don't need a circle, but you DO need to clap.
