Here's the latest draft of the WIP. Perks are done. Still a lot of cleaning to do and legacy things. Please let me know if anything is wrong/needs clarifying with these, and keep in mind Lunar Knights content will be later.

As for myself, it was Invader Zim. Tak had conceived some ill-advised plan to conquer the Earth using giant robots with laser weapon systems I had provided her. Little did she know the lasers were just fancy lights and I had installed a kickass sound system in the shoulders. When Dib and Zim finally cobbled together their own giant robot to stop ours, I hacked into the robot, kicked on the sound system, set the lasers to strobe, and break danced their robot to pieces.

Naturally, I broke our own in the process. Tak was right pissed at the time.

Yeah. I imported it into Brutal Legend and made it into an enormous Axe. Then I brought it as my Meguca weapon in MGNQ, so I can make duplicates of it. Using In the Groove from Youtube means that I can conjure many duplicates of myself to play all the Keytars, and fill up an entire or band or even an orchestra all on my own. I play many concerts in many different places every Jump.

Anyway, that's partly the fault of legacy text. There are Immortals who do walk out in the open in Boktai land, though being near a Solar Tree is out of the question for them. I'm guessing this has a lot to do with the Undeadening present.

Either way, post-jump that particular Immortal perk will be an altform, and it will IMMEDIATELY be an altform for a Half-Vampire. So yes, you can function without having to worry about being dusted afterwards.

Fully aware. I'm not set in stone on the subject, but the Immortal form and their perks/powers will be able to be used separately post-jump, though Dark Matter powers function better in the Immortal body...unless you have a way to get around that, of course, perks or otherwise.

Dark Matter powers in general function like negative energy in DnD. So any 'undead' form works well for boosting them if the retained sunlight allergy in Immortal form is too annoying.

Why am I keeping the sunlight allergy for Immortal altform? Mostly because of how Dark Matter works. I'm not against changing it, but there's plenty of ways around it.

Don't worry, Arachne isn't active until after Asura wakes up. Probably worth it to use the Joestar Secret Technique to avoid whatever booby traps she left behind, but you're not having to deal with her directly unless you stay there way too long.

All of the Wash of Daylight perks require you to activate them, they are not always on. Unless you feel like it for some reason. There are penalties for doing so - Fists will burn you, Course drives others mad and gains the attention of the stars (if that is applicable), Night gets ideas of its own, Light needs resources to fuel.

For the Fists, the 2 limbs of choice are replaced with solid sunlight for the perk to do its thing.

It's basically a super mode you turn on and off, which buffs your arms as is written. If you try to keep it going without valid targets, it'll start wearing away at your own defenses. If you don't have arms to hit things with, you'll get ones made of sunlight while it's active.

Now for speculation. The Correspondence can not be used to transform, in the sense of power levels and quality of your souls. That's something else. Since it is used to define the definite, I suppose it cannot be used for divination or probability, since only their opponents have shown anything like that. It also suffers from the usual drawback that anything not defined by it is changeable, and why deep space is so weird. Kind of like the Nasuverse TYPEs I guess.

The biggest concern I'm going to have is Konasse appearing and becoming a battleground itself, since it usually tends to attract attention, but at this point... it's got defenses. MFFS ensures that if needed, it can be surrounded by force fields, and this is probably an important thing to do. Otherwise... I'm probably just going to do everything I can to deal with these idiots that call themselves gods while they trample all over the people that are supposed to worship them.

So what are the thoughts on importing yourself as a mecha in jumps that offer it, if you're a robot? Because I kind of want a psycoframe from UC Gundam, or an anti-magic energy barrier from Five Star Stories, or the Vajra flesh upgrade in Macross, or things like that. So much neat tech that I'd want incorporated into me.

Yes we do, the problem is most of us are just anons so nobody sees us as anything other than normal thread folk. So it's easy to feel like we're a separate group rather than the thread and IRC being two fringes with some people who stick with one while most overlap.

I won't lie, there is tension between the two that's been here ever since the beginning, and when you're among friends and frustrated with another thread filled with salt you vent to get it out of your system just like everybody needs to at times. We're all human after all.

Most of us just try to not feed the flame wars, be as civil as we can, and the jumpmakers work on stuff that everybody can have fun with.

For the record, while I get frustrated with all the salt and shitposting, and sometimes I have to vent too, I do love all you guys. JumpChain has been a ton of fun for me ever since I took my first look, and the good here is definitely worth the bad.

I will say that 1. the chief power of the Judgements is extremely similar to the concept of Phases and 2. if it wasn't obvious, the perk doesn't give you the full power of a Judgement. But their starlight is what defines what post people consider "reality"; its' absence doesn't cause the world to end so much as it makes things like death and time become more mutable and subject to popular consensus. Anyway, Vulpix is a proud tradition, Gloom notably stink so you'd have to deal with that until you evolved, and apparently Vileplume are highly allergenic, Venonat are adorable, Slowpoke are decent overall, Hoothoot is an owl and owls are dumb as shit, Ralts becomes everyone's pokewaifu so it's good if you want to be someone's waifu in future jumps, and I don't know about petilil or munna.

I seriously disagree about limiting power copying to genetic abilites. It already is limited to one power at a time and you can't improve on it. Basically making it a more expensive data drain. Limiting it to genetic abiliites and no one would take it.
