I haven't painted any of my minis yet. At the moment I'm leaning towards Eridani Light Horse.
But then I thought of something, a troll paint scheme. Would jimmies be rustled if my mech were painted like 40k space marines, especially something awful like ultrasmufs?

Both add a ton of weight, and the CHS don't seem to compare to (clan, particularly) double sinks very well.

Is one star of Bashkir omnifighters too low a bid to take on an Overlord (3056 upgrade version) without fighters of its own?
>>
>>47892067
Yes. The Star Commander is either absurdly over confident or too dumb to live. The Overlord, at minimum, has 150 armor on a facing.
>>
>>47892197
How many stars should be bid?
>>
>>47892067

The rules in play are going to make a difference here. If you're playing individual fighters vs the DropShip, the bid is DEFINITELY too low. If you're playing old squadron rules (10 fighters in the squadron), the Bashkirs can kill it. If you're playing new squadron rules (2 groups of fighters), they may or may not kill it. And of course if you're playing with vector movement rules instead of cinematic movement, the DropShip gains a better ability to put legitimate guns onto your paper-armor ships by virtue of spinning in place (you may still be able to auto-win init, but it's at least *easier* for the Overlord with vector movement)

In *general*, 10 Bashkirs is probably too low, because the Bashkir's armor is less than a joke, even against the Overlord's crappy weapons suite. However, the specific variant of Bashkir you're using will matter TREMENDOUSLY. Most all of the canon 3055 ones are trash for this. However, the C, D, and Z configs are all hard-hitting enough for light anti-DropShip work. Especially the D. If the Star was something more like 6 Bashkirs and 4 Avars, it would be more of a sure bet; you'd win for sure barring bad dice luck or raw incompetence.

Leaving fluff aside? Basically never, unless you're a very light 'Mech with a very small engine and Endo and Heavy Ferro-Fibrous. DHS are just so much better.

>or a Compact Fusion Engine?

Fluff aside again, only if you really need those CT slots for something. If you want to free up a bit of room in the CT always go with the Compact Gyro, it's two slots for two tons max. Four CT slots gives you room for a Heavy PPC, an IS LRM-15 with Artemis IV, an ER PPC and a C3 Slave, or Boosted C3 and an Angel ECM, among other things.

In your opinion, /btg/, what's the best all-around introtech medium?
>>

The Hunchback. It has far too many solid variants to dismiss.

If you don't want to count variants, then you'll want to look at the Wolverine probably.
>>

The Wolverine-M is probably the best, with a close second being the Lineholder

It's an AC/5, medium and SRM.
I'd spring for a good 4/6/4 over that. Something like an Enfircer to really lay the hurt on at all ranges.

It's a 5/8/5 55 tonner with appropriate armor levels with a solid Introtech loadout. The Wolverine is much better than you think.

I'm really fond of the Cronus. It's properly crit-packed, has good brackets, and it's a fine hit-and-run machine. Basically a slightly refined WVR-5M built on a Shadow Hawk chassis, and it's on the Merc General list.

For pre-3000, there's the Griffin-1S, which is just cruel.
>>

>I'd spring for a good 4/6/4 over that. Something like an Enfircer to really lay the hurt on at all ranges.
The problem with the Enforcer is its utterly shit endurance and poor heat management. In broken terrain it's dramatically outperformed by a Phoenix Hawk or any of the 5/8/5 jumpers with a LL or PPC, and in open terrain it struggles to bring its limited supply of AC/10 ammo to bear. It's got decent armor, and high damage >potential<, but I find that without something else backing it it has trouble sealing the deal - especially since it's basically incapable of punching. Once the LB-10X appears that all changes, of course.

Huh. Didn't notice that till you mentioned it.. Neat.
So the Cronus is built on a shad chassis, and the lineholder and marshal are both build on the griffin chassis, which brings the 55 ton trio up to an even six; three originals and three descendants.
Wonder if the Wolverine has any descendant mechs like that

There are some neat occurrences of mechs built on unseen chassis. Like the Bushwacker on the Griffin, which is part of why I like it (plus in an AU campaign I was part of the Archon had his throne flanked by two Bushwackers).

>>47897441
The Bushwacker and one of the quads are built on Griffin chassis as well; it's apparently incredibly versatile. The PHX is a strengthened Wasp chassis with its own descendants (including the Chameleon), and the Enforcer has been rebuilt into half-a-dozen different designs as well.

You can improve Rifleman III a little using compact heat sinks. That's it
>>
>>47900290

If it's not being balanced by tonnage, build a C3 network. That decreases the shit factor of a lot of Drac designs.

If not, you're going to have to roll with the punches and deploy the best they've got, which means stuff like the Daikyu, Gunslinger, Cerberus, Dragon Fire, Avatar, Black Hawk-KU etc. You can also close the gap by fielding some Clan machines, a well-supplied Drac Company in that era should have 1-2 salvaged or captured Jaguar machines.

For BA they have the IS Standard/Raiden which is adequate for general-purpose stuff. If you want to create a strong point or do area denial the Kanazuchi excels in that role.

Driving Jackson Davion and his Battlemaster during the Vengeance Gambit 2006 worldwide event. We'd kept him alive for the entire game, despite concerted efforts to trap and kill him by the WoB. However, as part of the game, we had to move Davion from Point A to Point B on the map.

The WoB had sacrificed reinforcements to allow for hidden-unit rules to be in play. On the next-to-last turn of the game, and with nobody else in a position to scout Point B ahead of me, I was forced to move Davion into that hex.

The WoB promptly revealed an entire Level 2 of Gunnery 0 SRM carriers, stacked 2 to a hex, adjacent to Point B, and fired under the "interrupt movement" clause of Hidden Unit rules. So that ended up being 60 SRM-6s, hitting on 3-ish (stationary, range 1, Jackson's +2 for running, and that was about it; maybe there was a +1 in there somewhere I forget). Something like 58 of the launchers hit and after cluster rolls something like 275 missiles actually hit Jackson's Beemer.

The FanPro Commando running the event made us roll it out, even though I think mathematically there was no actual way for it to survive. I would have just pulled the mini off the table.

20-something of those hits were TACs to the CT, and a ludicrous string of 11s and 12s resulted in something like 40 actual critical hits to the 12 CT critical hit slots. A minimum of 3 hits to each slot, with some extra hits to spare.

We still won the scenario for Davion, but losing Jackson like that stung a bit. I ended up getting a painted Legionairre mini for MVP (coordinating the Davion side), though, so it wasn't a total loss.

Yup.
Honestly, I've found that the best way to use a Quickdraw should you be unfortunate enough to roll one is to get it in close and start kicking lights and mediums as much as you possibly can before it's inevitable end
I do this so often that a guy who I play with a bunch has started calling them 'kickdraws'

A Liao "Hothammer" always makes for a fun company command ride, as does those Chargers they refitted or even an un-upgraded Thud or Victor. LB-10X Urbies are acceptable bodyguards for long-range Fire Lances. Liao upgraded Cruds may only be spectacular when they explode, but even so they're decent.
The ERPPC Clint is a CapCon variant, and a solid design - in may ways, it's an unfucked Panther. With its 6/9/6 movement and 20 sinks, it can hop for a +3 TMM and pump out 10point shots all day without breaking a sweat. It pairs well with a salvaged Javelin, if you want ot go that route.

Upgraded Ostscouts. Ravens, and Catapults also fit the Cap tactical doctrines, if your opponent allows artillery. If not, there's always "Shattered" Ravens and FASCAM.

Exporting to an image file is easy though.

In SSW, go File -> Export 'Mech -> To Clipboard.

Then open MS Pain or your equivalent, and paste into a text box.

Then save the image file and add it here.

If you absolutely have to have the record sheet format because reasons, at least screen cap it and post it as an image.
>>
>>47917806
And then there's those whose MS Paint refuses to cooperate in this for some inexplicable reason. In which case, open the PDF in your reader, go under File, and Export To Image.
>>
>>47917806
Hm, I'll give that a try, thank you.
>>

I didn't think I'd ever say this in my life, but you might actually consider using HMP. It works on everything (because it's from 2004), it's export to text feature is good for posting here and it has the majority of stuff in it. Missing some of the DA stuff, but it has options to add homebrew stuff, which should enable you to kludge it in if you need to
It's crap, but it might be the best option for you

putting the armor and the guns in the back actually makes a lot of sense for a defensive ambusher vehicle. Park it somewhere until somebody wanders around a corner, then blow the shit out of them and immediately hightail it out of there. If they survive your first salvo they're stuck trying to chase you down while you continue driving directly away from at top speed with your guns and armor still facing them (although i guess the "power reverse" quirk also basically accomplishes the same thing)

I legit love the Dracs because they are pretty much the Zeon of the game, except they own up the absolute shit they do with a smile instead of going "Muh opression".

Their motivation range from "space nationalists" to "fucking insane". I mean the whole thing about avoiding a Steiner war just so they can fuck off to Davion space and get into fights it's not behaviour from a regular human being, you don't stop doing something successful just so you do something much harder.

Reading through their old school handbook is pretty fucking hilarious how much shit they started that either went nowhere, ended with their leaders getting blow the fuck up (sometimes literally!) or with them just losing battle over and over again.

Finally, the Luthien Campaign book fluff with Theodore Kurita having to tell "no this is fucking stupid. Stop." to a bunch of old, homicidal, genocidal and suicidal old men was and still is one of my favorite bits of fiction of this whole thing.

I love House Kurita for what they are, and what they are is fucking insane.

Say what else you want about the Suns, this argument for getting rid of Mad Max is absolutely, 100% correct. Shame he didn't actually finish the job, though. I would have liked to have Davion/Marik border wars; the Suns would be at least interesting opponents.

I play my own system while using Alpha Strike, it's a RPG so still counts. I'm the GM. Here's my group, all Mercs
>Kevin
A 11 year old boy genius who is a walking gundam cliche but done for the laughs
>Himasan
A small time gladiator-type pilot who dreams to go on to Solaris championships. The player is using Pootie Tang as his character's portrait.
>Odette
Space Pirate turned Mercenary, her hobby involves punching trees. Kevin loves her and wants to make her into his bride. She is Seven feet tall.
>Qastro
A young cadet that got into Outreach's cadet program through his wealthy father from somewhere in Steiner space. Hates mechs, hates piloting, but he is very good at it. His father promised him a cat if he ever graduates.

So far, 2 whole sessions dealing with "the graduation day", all the mech action was done in simulators.
>>
>>47919809
Well, I'll start with 3145 mercs because that's what's on my computer right now.
>Spectre Stealth BA
Call it a WoB design deployed in the chaos march, works fine
>Marauder BA
A bit early to be a Marian design. If you wanted to keep the periphery feel, call it the taurians first attempt at BA in the late 50s or so, or else a design by folks on Solaris for mercs. Doesn't need modification
>Gun Trailers
EZ fit, should really have already existed in the 50s and 60s
>Gossamer VTOL
Could still be an OA design, just call the MPLs and FF imports
>Garrot VTOL
Swap the LMGs for regular models and it could have existed literally forever
>Lamprey
Stone cold era agnostic, could just as easily came out in 2545
>Kite
This one is a bit problematic, since it's mixtech and uses a lot of era-specific gear. Probably best to just dump it.
>Cardinal
It's fine, just call it a Hell's Horses domestic design and swap the APGRs for MGs
>Tetsudo
Again, rather too high tech for the Marians.
It could be a FWL design, I think, exported to mercs and the periphery.
Just swap the LMGs for regular models
>Bishop VTOL
Yeah it's fine
>Savior repair vehicle
Again, could just as easily have come out in 2400
>Koshi (standard)
I suppose it could be a cheap blood spirit knock-off, but otherwise it doesn't make a ton of sense. You'd have to drop the light TAG for something in any event.
>Cadaver
Call it a failed drac design that they managed to unload on mercs
Drop the CASE II for regular CASE and a SL
>Tibulon
Again, it'd be a pure clan exclusive.
Dump the Watchdog CEWS for more SRM 2s or whatever
>Stalking Spider II
Once more, it'd be a clan exclusive
>Black Hawk (standard)
As with the Koshi, call it a cheap knock-off or ignore it
>Vulture MK IV
Same as all other clantech machines, but you'd also have to dump the ferro-lam
>Con't
>>
>>47919809
>>47920353
>con't
>Hound
Works 95% just fine. Call it a taurian design, partner to the Marshal, sold widely to mercs to pay for it's extreme development costs. Trade the twin LPPCs for a regular PPC, dropping a SHS. Maybe also drop half a ton of armor to add CASE, but that's just my personal preference for making the hound more perfect
>Jade Hawk
Yeah, this is rather completely unsalvageable to older eras
>Mad Cat MK IV
Really rather unnecessary considering that the original is still around and common
>Hawkwolf
Call it a collaboration between the TC, MoC, OA and maybe Randis and/or other small states to finally produce a native periphery assault, which they promptly started selling to anyone with the cash
Trade out the MMLs for either SRM-6s or else dual MLs and upgrading the 15s to 20s.
>Hippogriff protomech
Too DA. Drop it
>Condottiere assault craft
Call it built on outreach or Solaris or wherever for the merc market, using modern RACs imported from the FedSuns
>NL-45
Probably can be safely ignored
>Nagasawa
Same as the NL-45

You are aware that's how hidden units work, right? They can interrupt the movement phase with weapons fire when they reveal themselves.

Parking a shitton of nasty short range units on top of a mandatory objective is literally "good tactics", not faggotry. Doubly so in a demo team-run scenario where you're not selecting your own units or the rules under which you play. The tactical failure was almost entirely on NEA's team for not scouting what they knew was an objective, and a little bit on NEA himself for moving an important asset into a not-scouted objective (though I got the impression he was under a compulsion to move there; since I don't know the scenario rules I couldn't say how culpable he was in the mistake).

Is this sort of thing why people here hate good groups like toronto or Cincy? The level of tactical incompetence here is so high that when a group is even marginally tactically skilled it seems like cheating? Is that it?

I just assume either it's b8 or some salty scrub that sucks at the game.

I tried, once. It was similar to "MechForce" or "BattleForce" by Ralph Reed - ie, late 80s style interface, and played kind of slow.

>Is this sort of thing why people here hate good groups like toronto or Cincy?
>I just assume either it's b8 or some salty scrub that sucks at the game.

Well, that and they set a terrible example for everyone else. It's not reasonable to expect your local group to live up to the standards set by Chicago or Cincy, but people - especially new players - are going to look at the long-established groups and compare their home groups to those and almost inevitably come up short. Those new players are then more likely to just give up and leave the franchise rather than spend the 5-10 years that Toronto or Chicago did in building a solid and professional group.

That's why those major groups are bad for the game. They hurt our ability to attract and retain new players who don't want to spend the time necessary to be able to compete against such groups.
>>
>>47925088
I understand that's how hidden units work. For me it was more the gunnery score of 0 bit that tickled my cheese meter. And I've got nothing against the demo teams, Cincy, or Wobbies. It was more poor wording on my part, and I apologize for lowering the quality of thread a bit, even if unintentionally.

Is there any reason why a lot of the Atlases that were in production remained in the Sphere when Kerensky made his exodus?

Were there just that many of them or were they (for whatever reason) not wanted?

A mix of reasons. First off, the SLDF was using the Atlas II by that point, and many of the higher-ranked officers that would be assigned the machine in the non-Hegemony powers were using nastier Royal designs. The Atlas was considered a little low-tech and (while not as ass-backwards as the Mackie) something that a grunt would be using.
Then, too, there really >were< kinda that many. As well as several House-controlled lines manufacturing them. Assaults may be uncommon in general, but it's not like some folks pretend and they're completely extinct. Having an Atlas is a great stoker of your e-peen, and so people will put effort and money into restoring one that a Crockett or even an Awesome might not see no matter which unit is better on the battlefield. Especially when you're dealing with Dracs and mercs.

Finally, OOC everybody has one since they started putting them in the starter sets, so the relative rarity of Atlases in art and fluff started getting rewritten in the late 3050s. Not that I mind, it's a decent enough design.

Now, I know what you're thinking (or maybe not) -
"Didn't Anton use one though?"

Well, yes. But both DeChev and Kerensky were grunts' generals - men who'd clawed their way to the top and fought on the frontlines, not 'Mechhopping pencil pushers. They used what they liked, and what worked, not just the newest and best thing off the shelf. Yeah, they upgraded, but they kept the old warhorse chasses they liked, and it kinda fit their personalities.

One other thing that's easy to forget - the SLDF had hellacious equipment to start, but had gotten the SHIT kicked out of them for the better part of twenty years at that point. And commanders/bodyguards are always the priority target in combat.
Food for thought: Given how many transports and droppers went down, more Atlases probably died when the convoys rushed Earth during LIBERATION than were lost in the >entire< Third Succession War.

Anyway, the Successor States still had essentially intact militaries with most of their 2750 OoB intact. The SLDF, on the other hand, had taken something like 60% casualties even with constant reinforcements.

Why would it be?

If people perceive an activity as too difficult or too elitist to get into, they're less likely to do that activity. The more groups that put on large, regular event, and who don't do all the stuff that gamers are comfortable with (explode in drama, fall apart as schedules conflict, etc), the less comfortable gamers are going to be getting into the hobby.

High standards keep people away from games. The lower your standards, the more people can participate. This is common sense stuff. Those sorts of groups have high standards and their standards are becoming more common across the country. This is bad for recruitment and retention of players.

...Well, that's a really goddamned narrow window you've painted. I mean, it's been in production longer than any of the others besides the Highlander, has more variants, and ins't restricted to a single realm unlike the other 100-tonners you could call "command" 'Mechs per se.

But I suspect that the Battlemaster is actually more common than Atlases as an Assault command unit, and the PIxie or Wolverine is the most common "command" design out there.

>I'm going to take a second and rant for a moment here
>Go ahead and skip if that bothers somebody, I don't care

It's probably important to remember that there actually are people who think that sort of thing in complete, 100% seriousness. It's EXTREMELY common in larping, for example. I've personally been asked to either change costumes or leave a game because my costume and armor "made new players feel intimidated" because they didn't feel they could ever get a costume that nice.

Forget the fact that I pieced my armor together over several years and at great expense; they fact that they couldn't go out and order a set of alwhite plate that would get to them before the next game - and the fact that it would cost them more than $50 (yes, that's the real number I was quoted) - made them feel bad about their own costume. And since they felt bad, *I* had to change.

For the record, I acquiesced once. The second time that happened (with a different, much less expensive costume being built for Viking re-enactment), I left the game, and I have not returned to that community since.

>pic goddamn related

I know there are people with that attitude - it's what almost got me to quit reenacting as well, but I enjoy crafting my own shit too much to care. I basically said "try and fucking stop me" last time, and founded my own household of other people who are sick of the political shit in the community and just want to fuck around doing historical research, crafts, and art for our various eras. We have a fabulous time. My little brother, several friends, and two of my sisters do Viking, my wife does late 15th, I do early 17th merchant seaman and Bronze Age Celt/Beaker Culture shaman depending on my whim, we've got an honest-to-God Saami who just likes her cultural heritage, and a dozen other folks and we crash SCA events and enjoy the shit out of ourselves.

>>47930855
>>47929383
Having grown from three people in a year to almost two dozen without any other kind of advertising? I say enjoying the shit out of yourself - >especially< when you're friendly, outgoing, explain what you're doing and why, and talk to folks about how you do what you do - is a better recruitment tool than any degree of "dumbing it down". So is having people of all skill levels at your events, which is exactly what Toronto, Cincy, Puget Sound, and the Gulf Coast group I was in in the nineties all did and/or do. When you see a couple guys with stitch-perfect shit treating a complete newbie bedsheeter like an equal, it makes the whole thing be more accessible than a pack of drunken slobs will ever be.

How do I bring this back to BT?
When I'm running BT training scenarios, I keep it simple. I occasionally fuck up, and >explain how I'm doing it< so the other player can learn to recognize and exploit advantages and mistakes. Training is never about ego, or winning, it's about gettin gud.
RPG games? Laid-back, but I don't pull punches either. Had some merc companies get wasted on mission 2 because they got dumb. Had games last 2 years, too

Should say, these are the BT groups. I have no fucking clue about their LARP/reenacting/SCA cultures, other than the PNW.

To elaborate on
>Tournaments? Bring your A game, I'm bringing mine.
I think the 100% tournament mindset is poisonous to group growth and to being a good player in general. As NEA has already pointed out, enabling the "beer and pretzels only, all turrettech, all 3025" whiner in your group is going to drive away players just as surely as demanding hyperfocused, Bloodname level play every week. And the former is going to drive away the players who make >everyone< better right along with the stitch nazis; it leads to stagnation and death, just as sure as the latter option does. There's only so many games you can play in introtech before it gets boring, no matter how much Bill hates the Clans; Bill can fuck off for a couple weeks while we get four other players up to speed.

We've already scheduled that discussion for the Tuesday game, Melissa. And before you ask, no, you still can't make Clantech LAMs with the Illegal quirk and try to play them in quirkless games. I do sometimes wonder how the all-3025 guys stand it. Also how a lot of introtech matches tend to be just slugging away endlessly with relatively low-powered weapons at relatively heavy armor, until somebody takes a TAC to an ammo bin and gets completely vaped because CASE doesn't exist.
>>

But that's the only objectively fun and challenging way to play the game, anon.

Non 3025 babbies can't into heat management, massed fire, combined arms, or tactical movement because those are only things you can learn to use in 3025-only, final destination games.

I stand it by just doing it to have fun, personally. Just had a game the other night:

Lance v Lance, ~3700BV

Me:
Cyclops 10-Z
JagerMech -S
Blackjack -1
Locust -1V

Brother:
Enforcer -4R
Centurion -A
Dervish -6M
Commando -2D

Lasted a few hours, was a good time. Played on the Introbox maps, and had a lot of laughs. He was a good sport about losing all his mechs and me not losing any (though the Cyclops got tore up and the Locust almost died). We're both pretty casual and he is actually the bigger grog between the two of us, even though he's younger, which is sort of funny. He does like Helm Core stuff and all that though, he just dislikes the Clans for mostly lore reasons. Intro is just easy for us to pick up and play, because we're used to it. But I guess I can see how it'd be confusing to see someone play 3025 all the time, like once a week, unless it was a campaign. I mean I could probably gladly do it, but I can see how most people would need to switch up. Thankfully I can also enjoy the later eras too, even if they aren't what I usually play. I can't really describe why I enjoy Introtech play, I just do.

The Nikkei dropped 7%, activated its mandatory "panic shutoff for 30 minutes" switch, came back to life and dropped another 8% before they halted trading.

If I'm made of money, a TSM Scarabus for scouting, a Bandersnatch for mixed AA and anti-vee work, with the rear MLs flipped and swapped for SPLs (an extremely common refit already). Longbow or Archer because missile support, cheap, and highly-available parts. If I'm rich as shit and headed for the Clan front, I'd add a War Dog to that list.

As a poorfag, I'd just go with a WVR-7K as my lance dogsbody/scout and buy a Beemer as my command ride. Back that up with a PPC Clint/Falcon/cheap Pixie depending on availability and finances, and literally ANYTHING I can buy with an LB-10X - probably a Centurion, Enforcer, or a black market Wolf Trap.

I saw Randall Bills at a grocery store yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for plot advancement or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Could be neat

>UK leaves the EU
>leftists triggered as fuck
>Merkel sends warships to blockade Britain
>"rejoin the EU or else"
>attempts invasion with fanatical Muslim immigrant legions

Thus begins the Word of Merkel jihad

House Humphreys of Andurien are descended from Wales.

Cavanaugh II (in Steiner/Free World Space - depending on your view) also comes across as pretty Welsh.
>>
>>47939730
What warships? France has more warships than Germany not to talk about the RN. Merkel can send a lot of tanks and that's it.
>>
>>47940030
Adolf Merkel has the same amount of tanks as us in the UK 458, as she nurfed the tanks. We only have 27 vessels in the RN
>>
>>47940242
Maybe she has some cybernatical enhanced shadow devisions laying around ; ) And a complete hidden fleet with battleships and nukes
>>
>>47940242
Only 27 warships, or is that including support vessels too?

Have fun ruling the waves in your bathwater, Britannia.

>>47940399
I completely misread that as cybernetic eyeshadow divisions. Am now picturing nanomachines masquerading as women's cosmetics in a cyberpunk novel.
>>
>>47939254
And you thought it was a good idea to replace them with Germans. Well i guess one of them spawned enough Emperors for Europe from her cunt.
>>
>>47940030
France is part of the Word of Merkel. They'll do their Master's bidding.

I seriously hate fucking Catalyst's motherfucking book layout. Why the fuck are rules for melee weapons in three different books, and in none of those books are the complete rules on one set of pages. Fucking Vibroblades have 3 sentences of rules total but those three sentences are like 200 pages apart.

Why are we posting pseudo-french stuff in celebration of the UK's antics?

>>47940570
Because they don't have competent a competent layout designer and editor, and in all likelihood they are also one and the same person?

It's one of the reasons I hang onto my copy of BMR and Maxtech besides nostalgia.

HCT-5K, mostly because nobody believes it's a thing at first, and then because it inspires autist rage about it not having a hatchet.

I'm fond of the 5S despite it's very bad heatload and ammo woes, and I'd use the 6S too.
>>
>>47940616
Not as triggering as the axeman 4's with no axe.
Oh god now I'm going to autist rage.

I don't think I like any of the canon variants, which is why I am cross referencing all the melee weapons trying to build one. But the 5K is the closest to my ideal so far.

And another variant inspired by a clickytech assembly error which resulted in a mech with two of the right arms from the 7R variant that I ended up recombobulating.

Vessels, not sure how many are warships. Still we haven't had an aircraft carrier since we sold the Hermes to India as a bridge. The two we're building will have no jets until USA sorts out the VTOL maybe we should bin all and go for real mechs :)
