I had two nice sessions after over a month of canceled ones.

The one where I DM was pretty uneventful, since we had to cut it short, but there was some nice story progression.

My group also started a campaign at level 1 with 10 Mythic Ranks, of which I can tell stories if people want

SO! Last thread I asked about a potential iconic character, and was informed that aside from the obvious thing that got people replying, she was very boring. A totally fair assessment, since I was drawing upon a character made for Paizo's Hell's Vengeance AP, and she hadn't gotten fleshed out due to >level 1. So I must pose two questions!

What makes an interesting iconic character, and what level would you say an iconic should be shown to be "iconic" at?

I need some help, /pfg/. I'm sick of GMing. I was desperate for a group and gathered up three friends to play with and decided to use a GMPC to be our fourth. We had agreed to play Iron Gods together and our party was a half-elf bard, human spellslinger wizard, a changeling witch, and an android aegis. The witch player and I have experience from a past group that broke up, while the bard and wizard were completely new to the game. First book went okay, although half the party had a very gimmicky personality. The bard was a metrosexual twink who the player described as "as pop-punk as possible", while the wizard was lulsorandumb. To give an example of the shit he would do, the first thing he did was go to the stables and suck a horse's cock. The witch was the typical changeling on the run from her mom, kinda bland but at least not annoying to deal with. This party would have been fun in a lighthearted game, but I intended for the campaign to be a bit serious and they threw it right out the window. Regarding combat, the bard player didn't even bother looking at what his class does so when it was his turn he just asked me "What do i do?" I was willing to comply for the first few sessions, but it's been about two months and he still refuses to look at what a damn Bard does because "Reading is for nerds". The bard has also attempted to seduce every single female in the game so far including Val before I told him she was 12 years old, and by seduction I mean he just rolls Diplomacy without even trying to set up any kind of buildup. If seduction fails, the wizard tries sexual assault. It's gotten to the point that he has nearly raped many NPCs but got his ass beaten each time. It also doesn't help that I feel like I'm babying the party because my Aegis GMPC does enough damage to take out any threat within three or so rounds.

TL;DR My group is driving me to hate GMing.

>What makes an interesting iconic character?
An iconic should be, well, ICONIC. They should, at a glance, immediately tell what class they are showcasing. A bearded man with a staff for a wizard, a lithe elf with multiple knives for a rogue, a baggy-eyed man with potions and bombs and oils for an alchemist, etc. But on top of being recognizably of a class, they should have physical and personality traits that make them stand out to be something more than just generic. A unique fighting-style or weapon choice, personal trinkets on them that point them to being more than they appear, a personality that might or might not be a standard for the class, etc.

>What level are they?
The original 11 iconics were shown off at levels 1, 6, and 12. I'd say to show off your iconic as a 6th-level character, since it's enough to showcase their abilities that have developed without doing too much all at once.

The party decided before character creation that we would all be Hybrid classes for some reason.

By the time I was told about the campaign, the group had an Aasimar Guardian/Hierophant Warpriest, a Human Guardian Brawler, and a Half-elf Champion Bloodrager, so I came in as an Elf Archmage Arcanist to fill the gap in casters.

We wake up in a dungeon with no gear, in chains that inhibit mythic power and magic with an NPC who breaks us out of our chains. We start trying to get out of the megadungeon we were apparently trapped in, scavenging gear as we go from things we kill.

Our first encounter is against 7 Mythic Wolves and a Mythic Winter Worg, which I found out later was between CR 9 and CR 10. Since I'm the character least reliant on gear, and they were very grouped together, I drop a Mythic Color Spray with Channel Power to force save penalties, knocking every enemy unconscious for almost a minute, and giving our party a chance to Coup de Grace them.

We manage to find some gear, including the Bloodrager's Legendary Item, her Elven Curve Blade, which lets her pump out something to the tune of 75 damage per round as long as she has mythic power to spend

Our DM takes this as a challenge to amp up encounter difficulty, and has undead enemies specifically try to target me in an effort to deny the opportunity to let off more Color Sprays, letting very dangerous Brawler and Bloodrager shred the next few encounters with relative ease while I fly and Mirror Dodge my way out of danger and the Warpriest buffs the party.

As we get close to the exit, we have to get through a short maze lit by glowing sapphires and guarded by two Mythic Minotaurs. They start shredding us in tight quarters, banishing the Bloodrager to a Maze and teleporting away to heal until we finally just unleash the majority of our remaining powers for the day to finish them off. I gather every sapphire in the room, gaining about 18000 gp worth of gems so we can get real gear when we leave.

I have never played Pathfinder before, but my friends are doing a game and I am joining in.
The setting is going to be pretty dark and late Renaissance /early Victorian era. I pitched making a character based on Hunters from Bloodborne, and the DM liked it so much I got free reign to design my own trick weapon and a race(more like a human subtype) with a 10 rp limit.

I feel like I am going to fall into some trap options though since it is 3.5 based and I do not know much about it.

I have designed a weapon that I am fairly happy with(Saw Cleaver) and have been mostly looking at Inquisitor to make the character but feel lost looking at all the options between all the archetypes and have no idea what race options are worth it.
It seems like my pistol will be pretty useless other than being around for flavor as well.

Any tips for building a mostly melee Inquisitor that is fairly nimble or ideas for building a race based on the beast hunters of Bloodborne?
Also should I just give up on the pistol being more than decoration?

Nobody except people with special features uses their own caster level for wands, they're set upon creation of the magic item. Usually it's the minimum - in fact it's pretty much always the minimum unless you get one specially made.

Wands default to the minimum caster level necessary to cast the spell it has in it.

For example, a Wand of Cure Light Wounds has CL 1, since a 1st level Cleric could cast Cure Light Wounds, but a Wand of Cure Moderate Wounds has CL 3, since Cure Moderate Wounds is a 2nd level spell, so only casters level 3 or higher can cast it normally.

>>
>>47883448
>Would said player run into real problems
No, he should be fine. Despite /tg/'s obsession with saying it's utter shit, it's quite balanced and more importantly it's fun. The biggest tip I can give is to make sure that both you and the player fully understand it, there's a lot of moving parts to it.
>>
>>47883429
Why /do/ you keep posting my cover?
>>
>>47883423
Third for brawler. Martial Flexibility is a lot more fun than it is strong.
Most of the time, if you just need to deal damage, you're just going to want Dedicated Adversary as a free flex-favored enemy.

But you can make a lot of niche combat options possible with martial flexibility. MF into improved grapple with a Dan Bong and pre-errata Brawling armor.

MF into Crane Style while fighting defensively and combat expertise and you can bring your AC up by a good 6 or 7.

Is it really powerful? Not particularly. Is it fun to play with? Yes.

Learn your weapons. Brawlers don't need free hands to flurry, so you can just hold maneuver weapons until you need them.
>>
>>47883595
Totally. There's a Arcane Discovery that lets you use your caster level for wands instead.

>>47883600
Thanks for the advice. I discouraged my players from playing Fighter in particular because they're quite unimaginative and plays Fighters as "move forward, full attack", and that's boring for both me and the player.

An Iconic should be pertinent to the class, and show off something perhaps a bit unique to the class or archetype. A good Iconic should be an exemplar of mechanics and fluff fitting as well as possible.

After all, many classes or mechanics require a certain personality or mindset. I'm sure you understand if I mention "harbinger". Or a Dread.

Likewise, the mechanics themselves can influence the character much like the character itself can lead to certain mechanics. Fullcasters are often well known for thinking they can do it all on their own - in no small part because for the most part they're right. Experienced characters may not be afraid to ask a contact or partymember who can handle something well for them, but for anything but "friend's known specialty" they'll probably FIRST think in terms of their own capabilities and see if they can figure it out within the purview of their 'build'.
>>
>>47883971
Master Craftsman doesn't actually work as written. For instances lets say if you take Master Craftsman for Craft Armor, and then Craft Magic Arms & Armor. You can't make both magic weapons & armor, only armor, as you can only use Craft Armor to make magic items and Craft Armor can only make magic armor.

The feat itself, by RaW is really really bad. You spend two feats to do less than half of what a crafter can do for one. Way less than half if you use it for Craft Wondrous.
>>
>>47883971
Considering you're a Warder, not much but still a good amount.
You could try instead playing either an Aegis, or perhaps an Artisan if you are allowed DDS in addition to DSP

>>
>>47884018
>>47884014
That sucks. I don't really like the aegis, and initiator soul maneuver progression isn't that good. I guess I have to drop the battle. I could blacksmith angle.I could use a profession skill(Blacksmith) to craft them both, right?
>>
>>47884051
Well, you start with a masterwork quarterstaff, which is slightly useful in rustydagger shanktown granted I am unsure if for it to be a staff still counts as a quarterstaff or not. I could be wrong
You still get that free spell per day, but the staff is also a bit of a liability if it ever gets broken, and takes really long to come into its own.

Unless you plan on MCing or PrC, its generally better to take a Familiar over a bonded item.
>>
>>47884118
>I could blacksmith angle.I could use a profession skill(Blacksmith) to craft them both, right?
Technically no. With Profession Blacksmith it allows you to take the feat then craft nothing. Because the rules are dumb.

Traits or "clans" I can't remember what they're called.
>>

Blink dogs had no defined lifespan in AD&D 2e, or D&D 3.X.

Bloodforge is a port of D&D 3.0 Bastards and Bloodlines, and copied even that book's aging tables.

Blink dogs in Pathfinder were given a lifespan of ~75 years, which is a departure from their undefined lifespan in D&D.

Halflings have longer lifespans than humans in both D&D 3.X and Pathfinder.

Thus, it makes no sense for the maximum possible age of a blinkling to be less than that of a blink dog or a halfling.

It makes sense if you think about them as an unstable hybrid. They might be genetically able to breed, but certain quirks that might not exist in either species might come to the forefront. It's the same reason why Ligers in real life (and Muls/Half-Dwarves in the Dark Sun setting) are larger and bulkier than either parent.

Awful

One villager changed and vanished during the night, the party chased it until eventually they corned it in a root cellar.

After killing it they all agreed that it probably bit more villagers, and the best course of action was to slaughter the entire town. So they did.

It was utterly nonsensical. The Kitsune got hit by lycantrophy from a werefox.

Granted it was a silly campaign involving a ghost merchant caravan, the cave of wanting (nobody wanted to enter despite the DM's insistence), the hobgoblin miracle worker who makes crappy miracles, and the giant who plays bagpipes.

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/other-rules/social-conflicts#TOC-Disguise

> Disguise Is More Than Visual: Though the skill focuses on the visual aspects of disguise that a character prepares, later rules (such as the vocal alteration spell) have made it clear that there are other aspects, including voice, mannerisms, and phrasing. The trick is to distinguish between the use of the Bluff and the Disguise skills. Generally, Bluff checks cover telling actual lies to support a disguise, whereas Disguise checks cover the other aspects, such as imitating mannerisms and speech.

Each word deals 4d6 points of sonic damage as a ranged touch attack with a range of 30 feet. The bard adds his charisma modifier on damage rolls with weird words. Multiple words that strike the same target stack into a single powerful attack, applying energy resistance and bonuses on damage rolls only once. The bard can target all words at the same or different targets, but he unleashes all words simultaneously. Each word costs 1 round of bardic performance.” This change will be reflected in future errata.

I am gonna come out and say it. I don't like Gestalt. I am unsure why so many people are obsessed with it and what they think it really adds to the game. It gives many characters far too broad of a skill set and, in my eyes, often does not allow for separate characters to shine in their specializations as too many people can do the same things causing overlap. I don't know, that may just be me, but the only time I ever consider it is for groups so small they need more bases covered.

Simple, really. When it came to the age and the height & weight tables, Matt sorta-kinda gave a shit, and I didn't give even the ghost of what, once, may have been a shit. I still find it amazing that literally anyone cares. As far as I know, Blinkling ages were retained from Bastards & Bloodlines because we didn't see a reason to change them and/or didn't realize Blink Dog ages but, mostly, because we didn't give a shit. We spent maybe twenty minutes on that entire section under the firm belief that in all of the RPG community we'd find maybe precisely three people with a flying fuck to give and, evidently, we were wrong. Our bad.

Justify it however you want, or change it. You clearly care more than we did.

So, Living Legends. I'm trying to build one, but I'm a bit stuck on stats. Assuming 20 PB, what's the best way to distribute stats on one? At first I was tempted to go all in on Int and Focused Offense, but that only works while you're focused, which rules out a lot of the "expend focus to do something cool" bits. Would just going Dex and using Weapon Finesse work best? Or is a more balanced approach better?

It's okay to be related to setting but it's best to keep it 'generic' while doing so. You know, if you're from "tropical isles" there's plenty of those on Golarion, but if you said you're from Baldur's Gate you'd have a bit of a problem.

As for "something only they can do", personally that's why I would want the Warsoul iconic to use the heavy tech weapons: because no one else can just use a feat to materialize those as a Broken Blade(and every other) discipline weapon (you're totally barrel-bashing with unarmed) or even reliably use the autofire modes in the first place!

Likewise, think long and hard about how a Stregone gets-to or becomes what they are as opposed to a kineticist, or a wizard, or hell a druid or whatever.

What is it that makes that sliver of power grow into that, instead of a full sorcerer's path in life? IS there training involved? Certain bloodlines? something gone horribly wrong or right?

Or maybe, is it just what happens to people with a bit less of the right kind of imagination; their power manifesting their "when all you have is a hammer" to solving life's problems?

CrossBlooded is fucking godawful for a normal Sorc

It does however, have 2 niche uses.

#1
mixing draconic/orc or Primal/Orc or Primal/Draconic bloodlines give a sorc +2 damage per die on every spell they cast, for Blasters thats no joke.

#2 Dragon Disciples can advance both bloodlines by levelling up DD PrC via a loophole in taking the other bloodline's abilities and still getting them via DD. Annnd since you lost a few caster levels by picking up DD, bloodline spells will come in just at the same time or ahead of when you get a new level of spells

not ideal, but its good enough to work with.

So, /tg/, i wanna have some fun with my druid.
I have access to Awaken, a boat, and a wizard.

Considering to make either an octopus (but would be impratical), something found casually (and thus boring) like a hummingbird, or the wizards dodo (familiar).

Technically the dodo would be the best, but i doubt he'd still be a familiar, while awoken.
Is there any particular animal who would do good?

So I have put a lot of thought into how pathfinder siege tactics would work. Things like how one would need to build walls, how one needs to fortify a city, and more when a city has access to magic. I normally make cities in game with this in mind.

Players never seem to like it though, many down right dislike the magic defenses being different from medieval ones.

Because of spells such as shape stone, shape wood, disintegrate, and more, walls need to be constructed differently.

They must be layered material, in this case the following:
>Adamantine -> Water -> Lead -> Water -> Stone -> Water -> Living Creatures (of some kind) -> Water -> Stone -> Lead -> Adamantine

The outside would be hardened. The layering means no single spell can simply shape the wall to an entrance. The water is fed by central Decanters of Endless water. If the outer wall is destroyed water gushes out. This means disintegrate can't just break through because it hits the water each time instead of the material behind it and the decanters replenish this. The living material means there are creatures there, which are very difficult to see through, as is the lead.

The layer's thickness do not matter as much because conventional siege weapons can not even scratch hardened adamantine from anything but high level siege commanders. The siege commander WILL get through if he is high enough level and optimized, no matter the thickness.

Stuff like teleport traps would be city wide if affordable. Food is not a problem because Stone to Flesh exists, as does Mud to Rock. Both of these make procuring calories easy for a population. Long sieges simply wouldn't be a thing.

How you deal with siege weapons would be things such as auto-resent disintegration traps (though these are unlikely), or decanters of endless water set to geyser aimed by constructs.

>>
>>47886511
I'd say what's viable or optimal depends greatly on the level you're starting at and what roles you want to focus on (if any at all). Naturally, I am a bit biased about this, but in the various living legends I've built, I tended towards one of three setups:

>Str-based, using two-handed mind blades or one-handed mind blades in two hands, and ignoring the Archmage mind blade since you don't have the Dex to hit with it.

This will probably get you the strongest early levels and is by far the "cheapest" way to play it; you need no feat investment, and your obvious feat choice (Power Attack) can be grabbed either by picking the Champion as your active role, or just taking it and using the Champion as a daily floating combat feat. It's a bit less versatile than the others, and the save DC or other Int-based abilities suffer slightly for it. You'll be ahead in feats though, and potentially freed up for stuff like Martial Training.

>Dex-based, Weapon Finesse and Deadly Agility. Each of the roles' mind blades has the ability to take a Light form for finesse, and the Archmage's ranged one is Dex attacks/Int damage by default.

Doable at level 1 if you're human, and gives you better AC/initiative/Reflex saves. More feat intensive, and if you're not a human, awkward to play in level 1 starts. It won't be the end of the world if you have to wait though, probably. The Overmind's protagonist portrayal can get you Psionic Weapon to carry you through early levels, damage-wise. You could also get the Weapon Finesse blade skill if you want to do something silly with the Champion mind blade (finessing it regardless of form).

(continued)

>>47886825
Basically a correctly constructed city is next to impregnable, and one would be much more worried about flying enemies than people breaking down your walls. Long sieges would not exist. Widespread disease would not exist (as consequence people would live pretty long for the era).

Famine & Plague would simply not be a problem under most circumstances, except by things that ALSO do magic (contagion fueled plagues).

>Int-based, Focused Offense and a second psionic focus

The most chargen resource-intensive stat focus, but also the most versatile and the best at ranged combat. Does not work at level 1, awkwardly, but comes online at level 2 when you get Focused Offense. You don't get the abilities that need you to expend psionic focus until a bit later, at which point you'll ideally have a second psionic focus to keep this online.

There's two ways to access a second focus

>Psicrystal Affinity+Psicrystal Containment
This one is a bit awkward for soulknives because the default soulknife /does not qualify/ for Psicrystal Affinity, despite being a psionic class. You can get around this by taking the Trickshot Soul trait, from Psionics Augmented: Soulknives, which grants you the trick shot talent and ML 1. That lets you grab Psicrystal Affinity at 1, but you don't qualify for Psicrystal Containment (requires ML 3) without some other shenanigans.

If you've got the High-Psionics Soulknives variant in your campaign (it's detailed at the end of the PDF; overall, we recommend using it in most campaigns), then you get Gifted Blade manifesting at level 3, and can grab the Psionic Knack trait for it to get your ML to 3 at that level, for getting Psicrystal Containment. Otherwise, you'll wait until level 5. Either way, that'll get you a useful pet rock and a second psionic focus. If you don't want Trickshot Soul, just take Affinity at 3 and Containment at 5.

You could also wait until level 6 and take the Tap Potential blade skill to get yourself a ML then go from there.

>Psionic Body+Deep Focus
This one requires Psionic Body, a truly awful feat, and 4 ranks of Autohypnosis, meaning it comes online at level 5. Overall I would greatly recommend trying for the above version. If you've got no gifted blade stuff though, it's your only option, so eating the feat tax and getting Deep Focus at 5 will let you use "expend focus" abilities while keeping your Int-SAD online.

>>
>>47886884
Adamantine requires the Major Creation spell doesn't it?
That means you need a piece of Adamantine (you'll produce much more though) AND a Permanency spell.

Yeah, that's also true. You don't lose a whole lot other than progression for it, and Natural Blade can keep your mind blade up at least. How optimal or viable it is /definitely/ depends on starting level.

I've started running a game for my group where all the character's have at least 1 level of vigilante, and things are going well.

>Psychometrist who is effectively Batman
>Magical girl who used to be part of magical girl team until one of them got murdered (has a staff literally fuelled by friendship)
>Some sort of kinetisist multiclass who is the result of unethical dragon themed experimentation.
>So far have almost accidentally caused major riots, then prevented them.
>Pissed off a huge Gnoll leader by beating him in a verbal duel (despite his "continually try to bait the party" tactic)
>Run terrified whenever a mysterious Clockwork Mage turns up and tells them to return home due to a curfew that isn't actually in effect.
>Burned a ship filled with Ghouls (further pissing off the Gnoll)

From here I'm planning on having nefarious factions fighting over several magical and non-magical crowns which may or may not be immensely powerful artifacts in disguise.

I'm also planning on making the Psychometrist's bard best friend into a Protean chaos powered super-villain.

Overall I feel the Vigilante is a great class in the right sort of game and in isolation from primary casting classes (who can pretty easily do everything it can but better, which is par for the course for pathfinder). The game does have problems in that while the Vigilante personas are all happy to group up, the Social personas tend to split up during the day and each do their own thing, which leads to a bit of slow advancement.

Thinking on it, Scrooge must have a heck of a point buy.

To be as physically capable as he is while being a proper old-ass man, he must have had some hefty physical stats in his prime.

If he's tanking the -6 from being over 70 (Assuming human age categories), that's 30pb just on physical stats, just to break even. And even old as he is, he's still hardly average in the physical department.

And then there's his mental stats, all of which strike me as being fairly respectable.

We had a really bizarre session involving tracking down a goblin wizard terrorist who had an insane obsession with red buttons. We tracked him to his wizardly tower where he was planning 9/11 (he'd already destroyed one tower, leaving the other two remaining), and each floor was just another iteration of temptation to press a big red button and then not pressing it.

The first floor, the door was unlocked, and in the middle of the room, a red button on a pedestal. We ignored it.

On the second floor, three pedestals, three buttons. Ignored it.

On the third floor, there was a button on the door opposite the room leading to the stairs. We tried the door anyway - stuck. The Rogue discovered a secret HIDDEN button, which caused a hole to appear in the floor. Out of the hole came a golem described as 'an autonomous arm with one large finger on the end, propelled atop a rolling ball'. I called him Handy, and he rolled over to the door and promptly pushed the button, which blew up.

After that, there was a room identical to the first, but seemingly no door to get to the next staircase. It was an illusion. I tested it by swinging my hammer really hard at where the door should've been, and heard wood smash rather than stone crack.

Beyond that was a floor whose entire floor was one giant red button. On the other end was a door much like the previous ones, except it seemed to lead to an empty closet. We eventually gave up on this one, and I smashed the giant button to pieces in my frustration, then smashed a hole in the cieling of the broom closet, only to find that some mechanism existed to lower the staircase into that space. Oh well. We teleported into that stairway and went up.
>>
>>47888367
After that, a Handy Golem pushed a button just as we entered the next floor. An image of the goblin appeared, asking us how we got past all the tempting buttons. I declared myself to be a paragon of humanity, and that no button could simply trick or persuade me into pushing it. The goblin started a monologue and after the fourth word I immediately left and went up the stairs, snubbing him.

Next there were six buttons - three pedestals were round, two square, and one very ornate. I had snubbed the only source of clues, so I pushed the shiniest one. It was right, of course.

We found the wizard's study, but no wizard. There were two scrolls, each one apparently able to turn any building INTO a bomb, with a button to activate it. We went through a portal, thinking we were following him, but ended up in another country with no immediate way back.

Then the Rogue sat in an onyx chair we stole from a temple a while back and had a chat with an evil orc god, who got pissed off and decided we'd be sent to the sun after ten days to help do something there, and it was on us to get ready. That's our predicament now.

I'm in two games, both are going well, no ones screamed at eachother yet and everything's pretty fun.
The big thing about online games tends to be player attendance, and dealing with people dropping out and stuff, but once you find that good group that sticks and where everyone gets along, things turn out pretty great.

>>47888392
Here's the deal with online gaming.

You're gonna have to sort through a whole bunch of shitty groups to find a good one, and sites that coordinate people for that like Roll20 are havens for those horrid, awful people whose fault it is groups don't stay together, hence why they're always advertising and trying to make a new one.

Literally none of the groups I've spent more than a month with were through Roll20. It's always been finding people who also like D&D through means not oriented around it - usually vidya, but also friends of friends - or just considering people I knew who I think would get along and could probably grasp the fundamentals of the game if I explained it to them.

GMing it yourself is the best way to secure a group, though. You'll be GM forever, at least until you recruit someone who has more experience than you do at it - and even then, many GMs join other games to get to play for once because goddamnit sometimes I don't want to know the villain's secret plot or what's behind curtain #3 or any of the curtains for that matter let ME DISCOVER SOMETHING FOR ONCE THAT ISN'T AN ARITHMETIC ERROR OR A HUNK OF GOUDA ON YOUR SHEET FUCK

But I digress. Roll20 isn't hard to learn to use; here's a few tips.
-Don't map what you don't have to, and you only have to map combat. D&D 2e didn't have a grid at all, you don't need it if it doesn't matter, like when they're buying things or romancing the barmaid or putting clues together or whatever. This saves time and means you won't waste much effort.
-When mapping, the shift key is your best friend. The polygon line tool and the polygon reveal tool will do you wonders.
-When mapping, use different colored lines or areas for things, and keep those colors consistent throughout the game - eventually, you won't have to explain that the gray rectangle with a blue outline is fog, they'll know it's fog.
-CTRL-C and CTRL-V work between pages and layers.
-Set the grid diagonals to 3.5e/PF. 4e is non-euclidean.

Accept that you may have to take a few Martial Trainings, then retrain them to Dimensional Agility later.

Are Occult spells Arcane or Divine? Mythic paths seem to require one or the other.
>>
>>47888731
Occult spells are neither; they're Psychic.
>>
>>47888731
Neither? I'd probably rule them as arcane for mythic though.

They're not psionic despite what some retards are claiming

Psychic != Psionic, you cumguzzling retard.

Need some help selecting two core starting feats for my human sorcerer. I rolled poorly on all my stats so I'm thinking toughness to stop me from dying to a single goblin attack.

Take the feat Dodge, and use it to get the fuck out of that game.

Die to the goblin, roll a new character. Or put up with it. Level 1 is hell.
>>
>>47888805
No-one is saying that, though. Psychic magic is its own thing. It's not arcane, it's not divine, and it's not psionic.
>>
>>47888851
What's your current stat. Can you switch it around? Can you switch racial adjustment around?

Paizotards
>>

What are your stats?
Also consider playing smart. If you don’t have much HP then try using tactics to not get targeted in the first place. It amazes me how little people pay attention to tactics in this game.

Spirit Whisperer Wizard 5 / Cleric 1 / Mystic Theurge 10.

Then 2 more level of Wizard and 2 more of Cleric

Is this a good plan?

>To be as physically capable as he is while being a proper old-ass man, he must have had some hefty physical stats in his prime.
You don't even know the half of it

Pic related, what Scrooge was able to do in one small afternoon when someone made him mad. He's done more, like defeat the entirety of Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders SINGLE HANDEDLY!

McDuck is a top level Primal Disciple for sure
