Tell me about the settings you'd like to see made into jumps. Even if you think it wouldn't be possible to make a jump from. Secondly I begin catalogueing and gathering samples of the rather useful local viri first the unmutated strain, then the vampire strain, the werewolf strain and my own hybrid strain as well as a certain other hybrid strain when it shows up. When I meet my tragic love interest, I do my best to get her to leave the invironment that puts her in danger and spend her time with me and my friends much of which is spent at my bar. I also begin experimenting with new were strains of the local virus. My first major success is to create a werefox strain in my third year here. In my fourth year I succesfuly create a weretiger strain. In my fifth year I create a weretigershark strain. Sixth year finds me creating a weregreatwhiteshark strain. Seventh year finds failure after failure in my attempts at creating new strains as I am distracted by the events in the outside world as the lycans are stirring up trouble. Eighth year I succeed in creating a wereotter strain and begin working on adding my new strains to my own hybrid strain(in test clones, I'm not fool enough to test it on myself until I'm sure it will succeed). In our ninth year here I've made an unqualified success in combining the new strains into my hybrid strain not only have I managed to create a ridiculously awesome hybrid form but learned to take the individual wereforms. Tenth year I begin upgrading all of my companions as we ready for the next adventure.

You're right, I just get salty that the author took a great setting and turned it into her own self insert fap fest. The first four or five books are a great mix of noir and urban fantasy. After Obsidian Butterfly though all that takes a backseat to who she's banging, how hot he is, etc, etc, etc.

I didn't mind that as a subplot, desu. The books were fun when they were a little sexy. The tension between the characters was neat and there was some fun character stuff there. But when the books became about nothing but sex, I lost interest.

I agree that the timeline you came from would be Doomed as usual, but the "won't be affected by any form of paradox" clause is still in effect.

For example: you go back in time. You accidentally prevent your ancestors from meeting. You continue to exist, because the perk protects you, but it does nothing to protect the timeline you came from.

Second example: someone else goes back in time. They prevent your ancestors from meeting. You continue to exist, because the perk protects you, but now - "the world will change to reflect that" - you're in the non-Doomed timeline where nobody knows you.

Whether physics will hold a grudge and zot you if you ever for some reason later turn off that perk before you leave Sburb entirely, that I don't know (although personally I would bet on Sburb's physics holding a grudge, the whole "trying to arrange things to kill you" thing really points that way).

Question: how durable are LoS Dragons? The supplement says you can, with both Unusual Sizes, cap out at 3 Old Rag Mountains or something. Would durability scale with that? Because it'd be embarrassing to be "Tower over freaking Godzilla" size without the durability.

No idea when exactly but there's going to be a few more parts of that and the second bit is going to be largely focused on the option you chose for your Shelter in part one. Part three is going to be more based on which companion you took.

There are so many I could see making good Jumps.

+ I think Soul Axiom + Master Reboot could be combined to make a Soul Cloud Jump that would be pretty kick ass. A lot of the perks would revolve around puzzle-solving, self-reflection, and virtual reality type stuff. You would have to add both the games together to get enough for a whole Jump though.

+ I'd /really/ love to see an Evil Genius Jump, though admittedly there would probably be some crossover with the Generic Dungeon Builder Jump. I think there's enough there to warrant its own.

+ Slime Rancher, Subnautica, and The Long Dark have been on my list of potential Jumps for ages now, but they're all still in Early Access. Both will have plenty of material for a Jump when they're finished. Subnautica and The Long Dark would probably be better suited to a Gauntlet though.

+ The Secret World would fit nicely into the recent string of WoD Jumps, except I have no idea how on earth someone would make that beast a Jump in less than 50 pages.

+ I'd love to see Transistor, mostly so I can Jump it after Bastion.

Getting dropped in a hotspot for supernatural shenanigans sounds like my idea of a fun time. Although really it's kind of too late to play out my dreams of being a paranormal investigator. I'm more like one of the creatures at this point. I set up a hive cluster out in the wilderness and set my zerg to patrol through the town and its surroundings. Nowhere becomes a death trap for monsters, who get stalked through the streets by zerg until a yoshilisk manages to eat them and drag them back to me to analyze their DNA. More esoteric monsters like ghosts are the most fun though, since they require my personal attention to sort out and I can get all the trolls together for an old fashioned ghost busting mission.

So as I understand it, this setting has some kind of mutating magic wind out in the wilderness. Not interested in exposing myself to that, so I'll split my forces. The trolls and I will be handling all the adventuring in the nice safe city: bounty hunting in Derphy, learning magic in Lumiest, wiping out the slave trade, that kind of thing. There is We Are One from Vandread, works with up to five vehicles.

Eclipse Phase is progressing, but I'm a little slowed/stuck on how to handle Augmentations and Gear, since there's a ton of them.

At the moment, I have jumpers getting a bonus 200cp to spend on their Morph + Augmentations. 200cp is enough for a decent/useful morph. So if you want a cheap morph, you can spend more upgrading it, and if you want a Fenrir you'll need to burn cp.

Augmentations are almost certainly going to be handled as upgrade packages. So instead of having bioweave armor and light synth armor as separate augments, there's going to be one item called "Armor Augmentations" that gives you better-than-normal defense no matter if you're a Exalt or a Fenrir.
Likewise, chameleon skin & implant masking fall under the Covert Augmentations.
Does that sound reasonable?

I'm considering just leaving out 'ordinary' gear altogether and only putting in stuff you wouldn't be able to buy in the setting, or that would be really damn rare/expensive in the setting. You get a small cryptocredit account so you can fanwank purchasing sundries like guns and spacesuits.

There are 5 Mana "types" in MtG, each represents different things. None of them are Evil or Good.
Spells work by being powered by a Mana that suits the spell.
