We lack the frame of reference to ascertain what actually makes us special compared to other sapients, if any even exist. Space humans and space elves are both simply creatures of human thought. This is why HFY doesn't make me feel anything. I actually think humanity is awesome and is constantly moving towards greater freedom, happiness and progress.
