They did at various times. However neither humans nor Eldar are really all that united but they treat each other like they are. Moreover neither is really willing to sacrifice for the sake of the other when push comes to shove.

Humanity got along fine with the Eldar under the rule of the Interix but alas, they're gone. Chaos and the Imperium wiped them out. The Interix were unique in that they were both very capable and also very willing to adapt to the requirements of other species and make personal sacrifices to ensure peace.

The squats were allied with the Eldar (being demihumans they count) but the Eldar betrayed them at a crucial juncture which ensured eternal enmity between the two groups until the squats were eaten by Tyranids.

Various groups living on shared Imperial/Eldar worlds have peace agreements that are both respected and broken by both internal and external pressures. Occasionally the Imperium will want to purge the xenos and flood those worlds with outside soldiers or the craftworld Eldar will decide to purge the xenos and flood those worlds with Eldar. Neither the local knights or the Exodites get a lot of say.

Truces will also often be made between groups like the Imperial Guard or Space Marines and the Eldar. However it's a very limited alliance between one small faction of the imperium and one craftworld. A group of Imperial Guard may be fine with teaming up with the Eldar to fight Chaos while the Sisters of Battle that show up to reinforce them may not and vice versa. Some groups on both sides are more xenophobic than others.

Also Khorne is actively working to make everyone angry and xenophobic to ensure there is always war. Reasonable people acting reasonably would starve him.

In the Dark Eldar Round Table interview on youtube Jes Goodwin says Commoragh is full of hybrids. While that doesn't confirm human-eldar hybrids and perhaps hybrids among the other slave races there, it doesn't seem unfeasible the Dark Eldar would be able to splice eldar genetics with humans for whatever motive. Perhaps to create more intelligent slaves to rule over the other slaves and work on more complex eldar technology?

Basically I'm saying its not outside the realm of Eldar technology to create Human-Eldar hybrids and I can think of a few motives too. Although I guess this debate was over natural conception of a half-Eldar.

Maybe your best bet would be to compare it with the situations when white humans were still trying to decide whether humans of other colors were actually humans or weren't. You might have had some that did dip their dick in it, those that didn't because "ewww disgusting" and those that thought about it once in a while but since that thing might not even have a soul, Jesus isn't okay with it.

Yriel was left because of two factors, One he didn't like how things are being run and second because the leadership wanted him out because he was being reckless in his command and influencing others. His reaving and adventures that he did in his exile are not representative of Iyanden.

As for the Alaitoc Rangers, they left because they had idealogical and social disagreements with how things are run in the Craftworld namely the overly strict rules of the Alaitoc. They forsook the culture of their Craftworlds for freedom and wanderlust. Despite severing their ties to their craftworld, they still feel a sense of duty towards it that compels sometimes to fight and further their craftworld agenda but on their own terms. For example, the Rangers of Alaitoc are free as they can be but they continue to fight the Necrontyr threat because it is their home craftworld duty.
