I've got a question for anyone that knows D&D. Everything I've read says that Sorcs are gimped when it comes to how many spells they can learn. They only get them when they level and they can't learn them otherwise.

Is there a way around this or is that the no bullshit no fix tradeoff for D&D spontaneous casters?

>>
>>47662653
Neverwinter says spontaneous casters can learn them, just slower.
>>
>>47662653
Actually a spell-caster can learn magic outside leveling up through self-study by basically committing tons of time to working on that. Sorcerers in fluff are freaking scary because they can learn from Wizard tomes as easily as a Wizard and still have their insanely flexible style. This is supported in the system, I think, however I've never read the rule in question. Give me a minute.
>>
>>47662740
No? Sorcerers can use scrolls, but that's it when it come to using a Wizard's spells.
>>
>>47662774
>>47662653
Found it! I was wrong about it allowing more than the allotted amount, however it's cool that you can get access to some pretty exotic spells as long as they're Arcane. Sorry, I couldn't help with your problem.

[The sorcerer's] new spells can be common spells chosen from the sorcerer/wizard spell list (pg 192), or they can be unusual spells that the sorcerer has gained some understanding of by study. For example, a sorcerer with a scroll or spellbook detailing an unusual sorcerer/wizard spell (one not on the sorcerer/wizard spell list in this book) could select that spell as one of his new spells for attaining a new level, provided that it is of the right spell level. (PHB 3.5 pg 52)

I tend to try to work behind the scenes, so I don't get quite as many titles as some jumpers. Gunnm ended up getting the title of Oroboros because of my mutations and regen. Which was worth a chuckle with Jormangandr once we got our memories back.

Van Hellsing ended up titled as Uriel by the remnants of the Church, had taken All is Lost and Rebellion, the city ended up getting renamed to Eden after we took it in the name of humanity.

Most recently Naruto ended up with me titled as the Heretic of the Mist. Was running around claiming Anubis was the eighth sword of the mist, created to bring an end to them. Because I was bored, Mist was the home of my background, and Mist hated my guts.

Also there's always Page of Life and a few others, but those were more job titles.

Fair enough, pretty much my only problem with two was disliking the lack of armour and being annoyed with some of the magically cut scene ineptitude.

Tryin' this again!
The DLC is halfway done, childrun!
Gonna work on the Courts and the showdown in the throne room and it'll be complete!

also
>1,Hey digger is the DLC scenario you posted last time going to happen before or after part one? I have a lot of plans in part one that are kind of dependent on whether or not I have my abilities and equipment, like using the conspiracy board from killing bites to take down foundation X
2.How badly would it screwup Ankh if I cast cure serious wounds and other healing magics on Shingo Izumi to help him get better?
3.I should heal Date and give him the money for the school right?
4.giving Shintaro Goto a Green Lantern ring and telling him it's a new miniaturized rider belt is a good idea right?

1. DLCs will take place during their respective shows or during the 'downtime' between shows(i.e there is a year between plots and the plots take a year to resolve so for example, Mad King would take place somewhere near episode 11 or so of Kamen Rider OOO)
2. Not very badly, you just would have to find some way of him interacting with others as not a hand
3. Nnno. Well you can. But Date is a pretty big part of helping both Goto and Eiji awaken their desires, and he's a bro none the less.
4. I think for the same reasons that Kougami thought Goto wasn't suited for the Birth Belt, he's not too ready for the Lantern Rings. He doesn't have the willpower or strength of self to handle it yet.

2. Okay so brain-dead vat grown clone body it is.
3. Good point, it can wait until that mess is sorted out, also that was a spoiler which is why I spoiled it.
4, very good point but I have to figure out something for him, Dr. Beetle doesn't let people who just want to save the world go powerless. Maybe something simple like a dung beetle mosaic organ, he is definitely not going to be Kamen Rider eldritch

There's a whole bunch of ways for sorcerers to know more spells. Knowstones, Runestaves, Drake Helms, Dragonpacts, various prestige classes and feats and of course scrolls, wands and staves.

The drawback in actual play is that all of them are significantly more expensive than a wizard just scribing a new spell into his spellbook.
This doesn't really affect a jumper who is not bound by level-appropriate wealth and other balance concerns.
Aside from that the only benefit wizards have is that they get better alternative class features and access to some exlusive prestige classes and feats, but sorcerers get their own unique stuff so it balances out.

So checking the upload folder it seems the Mage jump has been put in with the corrections asked for in the previous thread where it was posted. If the jumpmaker shows up, would you consider removing the Arcana limitations in regards to being stuck at three 5's? By your own admission it's due to White Wolf's strange and arbitary restrictions, which is not a real reason to carry them over in the jump. Note that I am NOT saying to remove the gnosis cap at 5 nor am I saying to get rid of the arcana capped at gnosis. Just when scrolling down and wondering why the limitation is to find the answer as "Because White Wolf implemented strange and arbitrary restrictions that’s why!" is rather irritating to say the least. With enough time it stands to reason one could raise their arcana ratings, even with the...equally strange limitation of restricting growth by half in future jumps. Which itself is never explained. Please explain your reasoning for that as well.

Begun work on Noumenon. Making perks connected to each roomnand denizen so there's a lot on my plate. Due to the nature of the setting the perks will be particularly unique.

I'm thinking of utilizing a similar system to drawbacks called Curses that will be optional for each perk. Not sure if I'll have Curses remain permanent or not but I know taking them will discount the perks. Most likely going to be a Gauntlet jump.

Not the author but by my understanding Gnosis 5 was due to Archmastery and similar silliness, while the Arcana restrictions were kept so choosing what to specialize in would be meaningful. Unlike Vampire and Changeling Mage gets exponentially stronger past six instead of linearly. Believe the note was more about the reason for those precise levels of Arcana instead of why they're limited in general. Can go poke the maker though.

I understand the reason behind capping Gnosis at 5. The question itself is why keep in the strange and arbitrary Gnosis 5 limits on arcana mastery. I.e. 5/5/5/4/4/3/3/3/2/2 when there is no actual reason than because white wolf said so?

Can confirm.

I have a shapeshift heavy build and I won't go near the GC enhanced capstones. Some people have come up with ways that sound like they might overcome them, but the drawbacks are just too steep for what they offer.

I'm cool with a Tenchi Muyo Pick One And Only One style capstone, but permanent drawbacks are a hard no-go for me.

Well, some people have posted work arounds. I'm not completely sold they're as solid as those people think they are.

Neuf feu.
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=neuf+feu+English+translation

They are supposed to be /bad/ puns, and I honestly coaldn't think up anything better than that. Still, it fuels my imagination.

Divine titles include; The Dancing Disaster, The Bright Path, Mistress of Mistakes, and The Burning Embarrassment.

I'm still working on the commandments, but they include things such as needing to brush one's tail, and remain smoking hot.
When the grooves are hot, combust a move.
Use indirect heat when cooking large portions.
Failing to plan is planning to fail, and both are fine if you have fun with it.
Lay sick burns upon your enemies.
Kindle your love, and warm their hearts.
If an idea is catching, fan the flames. Especially bad ideas.
Always serve revenge in large portions.

I'm open to suggestions, if anyone is interested.

Got a little question concerning something I've been meaning to create in terms of magic.

How likely is it that I could replicate the mechanisms of the Gate of Babylon? Without becoming a servant myself. I wish to figure out a way to create a mini dimension that I can shove weapons and stuff into so that I can shoot them out at ballistic speeds and stuff and reclaim them afterwards. Assuming I have level 100 Overlord magic, Thousand Masters perk from Negima! and Magic Manipulation from Demon King Daimou and other magic perks, how likely am I to attain a rough equivalent?

The pocket dimension is probably the hard part, your magic should be /way/ more than sufficient to get the shooting and reclaiming.

Teleporting stuff out of the warehouse would make it easier, if you'd be okay with that. There's Fairy Tail Reequip magic, Raildex Teleporter, and... I think there were a few more? Would have to search for those...

Anyway, if you really want to make an independant mini-dimension, maybe starting with a Borderlands Storage Deck and converting it to magic would help a lot in getting that down?

It gets glossed over pretty hard in the movie because a kid's movie isn't really the best place to start spouting CSI level talk about enzymes and blood samples and such. It's pretty safe to say that they /were/ running toxicology screenings for everything they knew about, but were unable to find anything because they didn't know what they were looking for. Once they found out they devised a cure pretty quickly.

>>47664636
In the movie, the omnivores that I can find are generally treated like the rest of the Prey species. But there's not a lot of data to back that up except in the most broad sense. If I had to guess, they would have mostly adapted to a vegetarian diet, supplementing their protein needs from the various plant and insect-based sources the carnivores switched to.

There's also a lot of space-expanding magic, so that should help you too. Things you Harry Potter and such.

D&D.. might be able to help, if you try scale up a Bag of Holding. It doesn't really do portable pocket dimensions of size like that on it's own through... With the exception of Genesis, which has a fixed location on the Astral Plane and so isn't really useful for your purposes.

But yeah, tech-to-magic is the easiest way I can think of. There's other perks that do the same thing Crimson Saint does, I think.

Unless there really is something to the theory that this is actually taking place WAY after some kind of natural disaster destroyed all human and simian life on the planet. But that's an awfully specific natural disaster.

>>47667723
Well, there's the Green Energy capstone perk for the Government Worker background. It comes pretty close, but focuses more on the energy side of things. I hadn't thought there would be a lot of call for people wanting to design cities for creatures of all sizes.

Realistically though, you could take the tech knowledge that perk gives you and do a little research of your own to learn how to design a similar city.

>>47667795
Well... you're going to have a really interesting time. I hope you're one hell of a politician.

Arctic Nation technically /can/ be solved with violence, but by the time you are able to intervene, it would have to be taken to an extreme most people wouldn't consider. I left it rather vague because I didn't want to limit people's story prospects by setting clear rules. Suffice it to say, to stop Arctic Nation with violence you would have to murder both political parties/gangs down to their last member. The repercussions of so much violence would have a profound effect on the city.

Interspecies Uproar is another I left a little vague to allow for some interpretation. I specifically stated it /cannot/ be solved with violence because it is, at its heart, a social issue. Adding bodies into the mix will only exacerbate, not soothe, the under laying problem.
>>
>>47667810
Not really.
I mean, what appears in the Whoverse that you couldn't find more easily somewhere else?

It's talked about a bit here: http://thedisneyblog.com/2016/03/02/how-zootopia-was-made-talking-with-disneys-animation-team/

Basically, they thought that if they included apes, audiences would relate them to humans and consider them to be smarter than other animals. They wanted all animals to be equal-ish, so they left out primates altogether.
>>
>>47668107
During, is my bet.

At the start of Wall-E humans have been gone for 700 years, plenty of time for a plot device to mutate some animals until they're bipedal and smart enough to make and use technology.

They'd suss out that they weren't the first intelligent life on earth, and vow to do better than their predecessors.

I suppose, in light of this new data, I should lift the restriction on reptiles and amphibians. With the caveat that they hail from a far off continent and would be one of a very few in Zootopia itself. The city isn't really designed to suit their needs, but there's plenty we didn't get to see in the movie itself.

That would leave only insects and fish excluded. The former because they are a food source and the latter because they don't seem to exist at all.

it severely weakens them, not removes them. If you have enough boosts from enough previous jumps, the downgrade might not mean anything.
Going from a Category 3 kaiju to a category 1 is still entering into fallout a fucking kaiju larger than most deathclaws, and as far as I understand the downgrade leaves you assoon as you leave it, so in the long run it doesn't matter.

I'm new here, though, is this bait? Have I taken jumpchain bait? O-oh no.

the thing about being a meta-entity beyond conventional notions of mortality, spirituality, astrophysics, biology, software engineering, mineralogy,Cybernetics , etc. is that while you may not need any specific nutrients or nutrients at all you still crave them and your various natures give you various urges.

Yeah, Gaia and I have quite a few. Part of being a planetary mother goddess, she's very family-oriented. Having to stay on the ship all the time might seem like a bit of an unkind restriction for them while their parents are off having multiversal adventures, but it's a big ship. Last time I checked my math there's around 4 thousand Earths worth of living space in there. Volume, not surface area, so the apparent living space is much higher. They're not going to run out of things to explore for a long time.

Cyclone Johnny - who wound up staying in One Piece and forming his own fleet bless his liddle heart, he always loved the Robin Hood stories. and 100% Orange, an orange-tree dryad who wound up finding love in Okami.

Since then, I've had a biological daughter in Elizabeth from Fire Emblem: Awakening, and two adopted-dragon-kids (Egg of White and Voidwyrm Egg) who grew into Yzzabelle, a Yiazmat Dragon, and Violet - a voidwyrm. The latter two eventually became biological daughters as of Fire Emblem: Fates.

Probably would be variation of one of the parents, and not necessarily as strong, either.

In the comics, Azazel (red teleporting guy in First Class) is like 1000 years old, due to part of his power involving a weak healing factor that slows his aging.
His son Nightcrawler has basically the same teleportation power, but I don't think he's got the agelessness of his father.

I'm looking for maximum versatility in the shape of the form, so I'll probably use the kaiju form as a base. Also, just how good is geneforge biological stuff, anyways? It gets talked about a lot but I don't really have an idea of what it's capable of
>>
>>47669998
A bunch of idiots without any understanding of genetics can create working lifeforms (plants, animals, and near humans) customized for specific tasks or functions from puddles of organic goo.
>>
>>47669998
Geneforge is extremely versatile in what it can create. The "basic creatures" are things like fire-breathing raptors, one of the more advanced ones is a Beholder, and they can make living creatures that Shape new beings en-mass.

>>47670018
And as this anon hinted, knowledge of Genetics would make geneforge Shaping even more effective than it already is.
>>
>>47669922
So far, probably No Game No Life for the Keikaku and Warbeast Perks.

Almost as many babies as advertised in a powerthrist commercial. I give them an inheritance and some guidance then leave them to their best as I move on to the next place. Unless it's a long jump where there's actual time to raise kids up until adulthood.
>>
>>47669754
>The setting comes with a perk that babies make everything better so I use that at times to correct evil women.

Wut
>>
>>47670106
I meant as for the actual designing. Shaping is less than ideal if you're in a rush, or want a specialized form fast. Extra speed at the cost of mass production and stability.
>>
>>47670303
Except Mass Production is easy with Spawners.
The problem is Stability, Creations have a habit of going Rogue.
>>
>>47670314
Yeah, that's what I was saying, in regards to mass production. I figured Geneforge would give more genetic stability, especially with a well made spawner. Any way around that?
>>
>>47670314
>>47670418
EVO has a perk to make your creations loyal, if that's what you mean by 'going rogue.'
>>
>>47670418
Oh the genetic stability is fucking great. But without someone to keep active Control over the Creations they go from "loyal pets" to "Rapid fucking animals".

Intelligent ones also begin to have thoughts about betraying their Creators.

>>47670446

>>
>>47670471
>Intelligent ones also begin to have thoughts about betraying their Creators.
even if you treat them nice?
>>
>>47670471
I'm sure that's just a flaw you can curb with proper understanding of genetics.
>>
>>47670488
Even if you treat them nice. The Beholders, the Dryaks, and the Drakons are the big "will betray you if you give them a chance" ones.
Serviles are usually pretty...well, servile as long as you keep an eye on them.

>>47670490
Maybe?
Part of the problem is that despite knowing that letting Creations Breed is a BAD idea and always ends badly, they keep on making Creations capable of breeding. So two go Rogue, or don't get attention for long enough, breed, and have a bunch of young who have never known Shaper Control.

>>
>>47667687
D&D can help, you're just not going to find exactly what anon wants on the pages shelves of the Magic Item Compendium ye olde magic shoppe, and you've actually mentioned one of the answers to the problem.

Items like Bags Of Holding and Portable Holes are based on - literally have as their requirements - lower and middle level spells like Secret Chest and Plane Shift; if you want their big "you could fit a ship in a bottle" cousins, you'll have to create them yourself and you should be looking at high level spells like Mage's Magnificent Mansion, Gate and - you've probably guessed it by now - Genesis. Exactly what you can achieve will of course depend on your DM Jump-chan.
>>
>>47670488
Some creations tend to have other issues, such as drakons and drayks have stereotypical dragon traits, including greed and desires to dominate everything. The beholder types are similar and insane. Serviles are fairly cool if you make them magic users that are intelligent, but they are literally mutated humans, with a few hundred years of work into trying to make them more servile. Servile minds though are a huge issue in that though they are almost always perfectly loyal, however they go insane if you give them the ability to shape other creations.
>>
>>47670557
I was just curious what about regular eldar would the devolve back to what they were before she who thirsts?

Regular Eldar survived due to abandoning the Hedonism on their own, before the birth of Slaanesh. For the most part anyway.
>>

A quiet conversation in a cafe. A precise misplacement of paperwork. A bribe or two. A handshake behind closed doors.

It's all about being in the right time at the right place. Having computer programs that can predict possibility down to the attosecond helps. So does intellectus over all evil in existence. And a path to victory, for that matter. But really, it's the subtle touch (rather than, say, singing in an off-tone pitch while parodying divine archtypes) that really seals the deal-once you've analysed everything enough to manipulate events by making a butterfly flap its' wings at the right time, everyone is a potential Rube Goldberg machine for you to further your goals.

That Agent Smith body hijacking you've depicted is actually something we've done on a very tight schedule, but it just seems gauche.

In a myriad of ways. Make powerful friends and put them in your debt. Start companies to grow your economic power, give you a platform to release new technologies (and well a place to buy politicians from. I am not very proud of that and tried to clean stuff up but sometimes you have to work withing a corrupt system to clean it).
I have helped to train and empower several heroes and let certain secrets be known at the right time to the right person so that they could act.
Really I think my first behind the scenes actions were in my 4th jump in DC. I grew my fortune by selling poketech. Pokeballs are surprisingly useful. I then took that money to invest in after school programs to try and stop future criminals from becoming criminals and started a movement to increase the security of the jails and asylums so we didn't have people constantly escaping and killing people. This movement caught on like wild fire (as you might imagine in DC where the Joker exists). Together with help from Wayne industries we put a significant dent in crime more than I ever did in a costume.

All masters of Sinanju are taught the steps required to bring women to sexual fulfillment. But just how many steps are there? The most popular belief is that there are thirty two steps in the program - but the little known fact is that there are actually three different programs (this was revealed in "Profit Motive, #48.)

Chiun has warned Remo to never use the fifty two step system on "normal" women, as it will drive them insane. So of course Remo asks Chiun what the use is in learning the fifty two step method. Remo then states that if he can not use it on a woman, he is "sure as dick not going to use it on a man." Chiun replies "Must you always be so disgusting?"

>Also won't lie, you sound like DxD's Issei if he actually was a serial rapist.

Has anyone ever gone full Kishin? Well not Asura kishin, but more like Eibon or Shinigami?

In Soul Eater the balck blood's purpose was to create a kishin like Asura, which is a part of Shinigami (All his fear), like Death the Kid (More varied emotions, but had the budding madness of order/Symmetry).

At the end of the manga after some life lesson and Shinigami dying he sorta "ascends" like eibon and shinigami.

I thing most people forgets about that aspect of SE's Madness...

Not a clue.

Something like "Enligthment" quotations and all. Maybe it has something to do with the kind of madness, considering fear is almost an universally evil/bad thing while Order and Knwoledge are moslty neutral. But Shinigami could enforce "Prefect order" on someone and just make them emotionless and midless puppets.

I remember Death the Kid Going full "I will turn the universe in a blank void to attain perfect symmetry", then getting bitchslapped by BlackStar back to sanity, then calling on madness but it being 'clean' this time around, abut the time he goes full demigod.

It migth be actual enligthment after going mad and having a true understading of his own Madness, using it in a positive way or something, i dunno i think it was a bit shonnen-ish on that scene.

Okay, so a Real Eater-related question. Does it sound reasonable to take this perk from Xena/Hercules

>100cp - Historical accuracy: Many works of fiction utterly mangle their historical and mythological sources. With this perk, you can ensure that you're never caught wrong-footed by such alterations. You always know how your current Jump differs from historical truth, and if you wish, minor changes may be made to the world, ensuring such things as the proper pronunciation of names, modes of dress and conduct for the time period. These changes won't be big enough to alter the established history or progression of a Jump, but it will make things less painful for history buffs to endure.

and modify it so that it applies to engineering instead of history? I'm not trying to make it a perk that enforces accuracy to real-world science, that would be far more powerful, but just one that promotes internal consistency. Like, if it's established that a shielding technology doesn't block electromagnetic radiation, it shouldn't then later be able to defeat a weapon that shoots X-ray beams. The perk would retcon it so that the weapon was some other sort of energy weapon that did the same thing, or something like that. Basically, it would alter the setting as if the writer had a proofreader checking all the technology in their work, allowing the parts where it was supposed to differ from real physics but correcting the implicit contradictions.
>>
>>47668611
Whatever's easy to get that tastes good. I don't actually need to eat, so it's more for just pleasure. So, whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like eating.
>>
>>47671583
I'd argue you don't need a perk for that, all jumps are supposed to exist without retcons. I mean realities literally can't have contradictions.
>>
Alright /jc/, I'm a The Sims 3 Genie, a Disney Genie, and a Forgotten Realms Noble Djinni.

Any suggestions for where to go in order to enhance my Geniety? Looking particularly for the Shaytan types- coulda covered that by going Efreet but I'd rather not risk it with the "Always lawful evil" thing.

If you've got nothing, options for becoming an elemental would work too.
>>
>>47671658
Bartimaeus and Magi, perhaps?
>>
>>47671658
Psuedo genie in that IwaBLAH BLAH no Daniki.. Dakini. Imaged jump with a wolf girl jumping on a guys shoulders. You can do some wish granting stuff if they sacrifice something. You don't get to keep the something.

I think Viking Saga also has something?
>>
>>47671658
Bartimaeus Sequence has a Genie option if I remember right, you can become a pretty low power Genie in TOME, adventure time also has a flexible monster option but that's even more low-power
>>
>>47671658
Viking Saga has wish granting stuff, also you need a good lamp.
>>
>>47671655
True, that was a bad example. I guess I'm phrasing it wrongly. What I want is consistency in how engineering is applied. Like, if you have a technology that does X, and X is applicable to fields A, B, and C, I don't want to see it only be applied to only A. Since applying it to A, B, and C would change the setting significantly, I'd like it so that X was replaced with Y, which only is applicable to A. The real reason I want this is because I want to get rid of the Neutron Jammers in Gundam SEED, which are patently ridiculous technology that don't fit with the setting but are used to justify a lot of plot details. It's an easy fix to get rid of them without changing anything about the plot, they don't actually do anything that couldn't be explained with other things. The only real reason to have them is for some dumb anti-nuclear polemic. So what I'm really asking is "can I use Real Eater to alter this perk and get rid of one specific setting detail I detest?"

I'm gonna be totally honest and say that unless they're plot important I treat them about the same as my companions, which is to say I immediately forget that they exist.

I probably HAD parents in, like, PS238 or Generic Magical Girl, where I rolled very low on the age table and was nowhere near able to convince people I was fine on my own, even by bullshit anime logic standards.
But I just never remember them other than a generalized "oh yeah that was probably a thing".

I severely doubt that I just up and leave them, like some jumpers. Because that in itself is a decision. They probably just notice that their daughter has suddenly become really distant and proactive lately. Mostly only comes home to eat and sleep, suddenly acing all their school assignments in record time ("Your teacher said you finished your test in less than two minutes, and then spent the rest of the time drawing pictures of a man shaped like an egg...?"), and just in general treats it like more of an obligation than, y'know, MY LIFE.

I probably just squeeze everything else in after school and on weekends.

I'm not sure what the limit on the first one is. If it's the conceptual type where you turn into shadow, or fire, or a gun, but you can't change yourself individually, Molecular M. is good because it lets you do actual physical changes which follow the laws of physics. Ex. You can sprout supertech cannons out of your arms, make an FTL rocket booster and shielding, and all sorts of wacky shit, so long as you prepare your body properly to be capable of producing the required materials.

If the G. Court one can do all that too, well, there's your answer.

Sure, but Blanks have souls. They're just horrifying un-things of darkness and the void, rather than the normal sort. Given how alien your average NGE Angel looks anyway, probably no one will notice.

Nope. Souls in 40k are your warp presence. Blanks specifically are the lack of a warp essence. Ergo, no soul.

Sure. But angels are already weird as shit anyway. They range from kaiju like Sachiel to computer viruses like Ireul to shadow spaces like Leliel or energy/psychic constructs/whatever the fuck Arael and Armisael are meant to be. Whatever Blank makes you look like, it's not going to be out of the ordinary for an NGE angel cause there's not really any ordinary.

Blanks have a Warp presence, though. It's just an inverted one. Negative space patterns are still patterns.

Is there a warp god of not giving a fuck? Not atheism, not going against chaos, just... not giving a fuck. Other than Nurgle, anyway.

Not that anon, and not an expert on 40k, but the wiki says they don't have souls, but still affect Psykers' and even normal people's perception of the Immaterium, though it's unconscious for non-Psykers.

Somehow, by just not having a presence in the Warp, the fuck up the Warp and everything related to it.

It woulda made more sense the way you presented it, in my opinion.

That's not really comparable. Atheism is the lack of belief in gods. This is more like antitheism, opposition to gods. A blank interacts with the Warp, they're not missing from it. They just interact with it in a way that breaks down and absorbs its energies. Not having a soul would make you invisible to the Warp, blanks are extremely visible holes in the Warp.
