So I know when I get to the Jump, what do I need to take to reenact https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofkJLPdB4os&feature=youtu.be&t=40s ?
>>
>>47633833
You can farm Humanity from Rats.
I am not sure why.
But bring her lots of Rats or Humanities from the Rats.
>>
>>47634043
A different jump. That's Kamen Rider Decade in the AR World version of Kamen Rider Hibiki. Decade and Hibiki aren't in the Neo-Heisei period, the jump doesn't cover them.
>>
How does preparing spells work in D&D jumps?
>>
>>47634114
well shit. Good to know.
>>
>>47634097
Rats are more human than any human!
The time of humans is past, and soon rats shall replace them!
BEGIN THE VERMIN UPRISING
>>
Jumpers!

What kind of self inflicted drawbacks for no CP have you put upon yourself?

After my 5th jump, three more cosmic warehouse keys spawn on each world
In the hands of people who are not my friends
>>
>>47634159
>>47634097
Sewer rats have humanity because they eat human corpses.

Anyway, you have to talk Quelaag into trusting you first. Once that's handled, you can start fixing up Quelaan without hurting anyone.

>>47633833
And on that note, I non companion befriended one of those Earthen Peak hammer dudes. Named him Big Green.
I gave him a dagger, and told him to close his eyes while running forward at people.
Using portals, I convinced him that he had unlocked the ancient martial art of, "Lahgstaab!"

I'm going to miss that guy...
He was cool.

How does preparing spells work in D&D?
>>
>>47634135
You cast most of the spell ahead of time and then release it later, sorcerers do this reflexively.
Good for preserving mana if you already know other magic systems.

>>47634140
Yeah, it's a shame. Hibiki was always one of the cooler Riders, even if production issues kind of screwed it up halfway through. Defeating creatures of Japanese folklore using the power of rock and roll is a neat idea. Also, Hibiki has what is to this day is still my favorite final form of any Rider.
>>
>>47634165
Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but I never allow myself to look at the wiki/source material while doing the build. Only after, to see how badly I misjudged things.
>>
>>47634305
Annoyingly, poorly, and inconsistently.
>>
>>47634359
That counts.
That is honestly one hell of a drawback. So many Jumps have to summarize to avoid rambling and thus a lot can be misinterpreted without context.

But it does make things chaotic, so that fun.
>>
>>47634359
Intradasting.
I sort of do that if the jump itself is written in a manner that I can understand it.
If I have to use the wiki to understand the setting though, I fluff the tales as if my Jumper only has as much meta knowledge as I had when I left earth.
>>
Is there a text version of Railgun somewhere? This thing is hurting my eyes.
>>
>>47634434
Not that I'm aware of. You have to zoom in a fair bit if you want to read it easier. Yes that does make it harder to go from one description to another but it's the best option right now.
>>

Do the spellbooks purchasable in the Dragonjump add to the spells that a wizard would have in their spellbook from their levels?

Anon from last thread asking about Stands here, should I just grab Blue Oyster Cult, or is it more worth it to make my own?
>>
>>47634541
If you picked up hamon/ripple you can channel it through water so it would be a nice combo.
Other than that, I had no idea just make something fabulous.
>>
>>47634541
Make your own, all of Jojoanon's stands are way underpowered for the setting.
>>
>>47634694
Yeah right, Blue Oyster Cult Requiem is completely solid.
>>
>>47634694
Plum Juggler seems pretty alright. No major downside I can see.

Oh wait, there's actually 4. Spoilers.

1 - You kindle the first flame, perpetuating the cycle eternal.

2 - Consume the first flame and usher in an Age of Dark with yourself as Lord of Hollows.

3 - You and the Firekeeper team up to make sure the First Flame goes out for good, leaving the two of you in the darkness, alone but for each other.

4 - 3, except you betray the Firekeeper out of fear and kill her, crushing her skull to try and salvage the First Flame at the last moment and failing, leaving you alone. This one is pure fucking evil scum tier, so bad they don't even give you an achievement for being this shitty, unlike all the other endings.

Most wizardfolk never seem to bother with any type of education beyond memorizing how to perform spells and make potions, and about the theories behind the magic.

If they were taught how to think rationally and logically, that would surely help.

I think that is asking far too much of these idiots. They don't even know what toilet paper is for.
>>
>>47635315
In ten years? You basically have to take over the whole shebang, with an iron fist far stronger than Voldemort's (who quite frankly sucked at it), and institute sweeping changes by force.

You can still be a "benevolant dictator" if you want, but the wizarding world is too firmly planted up its own ass to be fixed by anything other than forced social change, unless you had a lot longer than the mere ten years you get for it.

http://pastebin.com/hp0G5chg

And that will teach me not to put greater care into which universes I pick for a scenario like that.
>>
Does the restriction on storing live people count if you use Harry Potter style animate to inanimate transfiguration (i.e., turn them into a doll or something)? Same goes for D&D magic system (polymorph, polymorph any object, flesh to stone, etc.)
>>
>>47635495
Damn.
I think that's the fastest the thread's ever killed a Jumper by throwing them at a setting.
Just. Damn.
>>
>>47635538
If they stay sapient, it counts. If they don't, can you guarantee they'll be able to reclaim their sapience when reanimated/restored in an entirely different world?
>>
>>47635557
>if they stay sapient it counts.
That's good news.
>If they don't
How does that work, exactly? Far as I'm aware, you don't have to kill someone to transfigure them into an inanimate object under the HP magic system. Same for the D&D system, so I suppose, they retain their sapience even when they're inanimate. Same for being transformed into a statue, I suppose.

It is a culture steeped towards the idea that magic is inherently superior to anything muggles have, and are so utterly divorced from the world at large even the eccentrics who study it are...well just look at Mr. Weasley. You are trying to dig down into an ocean of ignorance with an ice pick.

My personal suggestion is to add an unstoppable tide of change into their culture(s) that leave them with no other options but to accept a new world view. Some people have taken measures to isolate the magic granting strand of DNA and imprint it onto the world at large through viruses or other means while blowing the lid on magic via social/mass media. I'd suggest this as this would definitely be the level of needed impetus to get the ball rolling. Conflicts will occur to be sure, but that is necessary for change.

Need a 100 perk for Drop-in
Just realized i have to mention the mandatory drawbacks for hunters and ayylmaos
Just thougth of a 100 perk for drop-ins like noticing weird stuff on disguises and basically easier ayylmaodetection

Balance as I see works like this

Aliens are inhuman thus will be hunted regularly, and have no normal perks.
As tradeoff, they have discounts in all build-ayy-lmao perk thingies.

Hunters have to go along gantz or die, as source material,
but get 3 free weapons, and discounts on all other.

Drop-in get no free wepons, and must buy ayy-lmao traits at full price
As long as they lay low, they have no danger of hunter/hunted situations

Probably foregetting something but I got stuff to do.

I'll come back to check on the assured shitstorm.

Unless Gantz was the origin of the ayy lmao meme all along, you might want to not call them that in the jump.

It may be a good idea to divide the Locations you've got a bit. That is, give them multiple numbers. 1-2 for Japan, 3-4 for NA, 5-6 for Europe, 7 for the Giga alien place and 8 for free pick. I may be suggesting this specific scheme because I fucking despise 'You're screwed' location rolls.

Ayy lmao customization seems hella fun.

Black and gold when I'm serious. Recent jumps have added green, silver, and orange to the palate but don't tend to use those at the same time as my Blood and G Gundam stuff. I take a lot of design aesthetics from Jack Spicer, Eggman, and the Irken Empire, who were all my early influences.
Fortress colour influences are often brown or rust colours for a more "industrial" feel, and robots are often similar. I only go for Irken colours when I'm really gunning for the creepy evil look, because jesus that's a lot of purple.
I also have the ability to seemlessly integrate victorian, gothic, and demonic designs, but those are due to perks.

But the warehouse is more of the "clean Eggman" look, reflective white, maybe a slight blue tint. As you get further down into the "Final Dungeon" section it starts to take on aspects of the Core from Undertale, lots of Tron lines and hard light. Kindof an Institute look to it.
The very bottom levels are where I start throwing madness auras and Yggdrasil roots everywhere, and fucking around with gravity and dimensional space. It's not safe to wander around down there.

Robots are often just painted like Jackbots, because that's what "really disposable as fuck robots" look like in my eyes. Prototypes and tricked out custom models often have more primary colours slapped on them, but I generally always go for that same Atomist durable look, so even the tricked out models look like some kind of mini-gundam or Liberty Prime.

Hard light constructs and forcefields are almost universally blue.

I don't know this series, and reading your Jump hasn't really helped me understand it any better. I feel like you need a consistent tone rather than this sort of half-silly half-serious one, because right now it's just not fun to read. Also, you really need to work on your perks - basically all the Hunter perks are "better at killing shit", and "automatically bring anything that can feel pain to its knees" is the kind of hyperbole that is going to get the fuck abused out of it.

Alright, I probably should ask instead of hoping it works the way I want it to work.

In the Marvel jump, could I add Brains to a combo in order to tie it to my emotions? So Strength+Brains starts out at human level, but as I get angrier, it reaches the base level of the Strength power and eventually surpasses it. Same for Toughness+Brains, Healing Factor+Brains, etc.

Apparently you can do Brains+Adamantium/Vibranium to get willpower, so emotions don't seem too far-fetched, but I'd rather make sure.

The perk is based on this one guy that actually got to 100 points several times (and) the one that bougth freedom. You know the one that murderized a bunch of vampires with one of Gantz katanas.

I soaked the shelled almonds in very slightly acidic water over night. A few drops of lemon juice will do.
Then I put the nuts and water in a blender, turned it into a weird smoothie thing, and poured it into a container through a cheese cloth.
After I squeezed out what liquid I could, I wrapped the mash in the cheese cloth set it on a fine grate I had laying around. I set it above the container, and put a weight on top to squeeze the remaining liquid.

That last bit isn't really necessary, I was just having fun with it.
You still have the pressed almond flour, sans the fatty bits. It makes a nice baking ingredient, and I think I'll try it in a curry dish later.

Touhou for the Servant path. Some good combat perks, ability to see Qi, and Lunar Dial as a strong fallback/finisher when necessary.

Smite for Body of a Mind. Absolutely broken when you hit Dragonball. Bunch of other nice baseline boosts as well.

Wuxia for some good ki techniques and a great martial style. Would replace this with a similar jump with a training boost if I could remember one. Prob wouldn't get a MA as badass as Sinanju though.

Tower of God for the wish, mostly. Thorn and Irregular power boosts are sweet as fuck, though.

You'd have to scrape it together with a bunch of other harem animes and make a Generic Harem Anime Jump, but I /still/ wouldn't want anyone to do it. I guess big the problem is that there's a lot of cool shit in the background (society adapting to monsters, members of monstrous species trying to adapt to human society, businesses trying to deal with extraspecies customers, a buggy set of laws leading to necessities like MON), but since all of it is background it wouldn't feel like Monster Musume. It's sad, and makes me wish the series was on the hands of a more competent author.

>>
>>47639900
Depends on the strength and nature of the field alongside the nature of the weapon. A strong enough field will mess with the trajectory of the plasma in flight and probably damage the weapon itself depending on how the plasma is stored/made.
>>
>>47639900
>Spoiler
Uh, maybe?
Depends on how powerful it is.
If it was Magneto-level, then it would be likely.

Projectiles would get pulled off course, and melee plasma weapons would probably lose containment and spray massive amounts of superheated plasma everywhere.

That'd fuck somebody's day up sure. Do it. Ruin their day, ruin all their days.
>>
>>47639900
Yeah, electromagnetic fields would fuck plasma right up. It's one of the reasons why plasma weapons probably wouldn't work in the real world.
>>
>>47639900
Plasma has very little mass, so even at the velocity needed to be a combat-effective projectile, it doesn't have much momentum. Deflecting it with a strong enough magnetic field wouldn't be hard. Putting such a magnetic field generator on a human-scale defense would be impractical, but vehicle or installation shields should be possible.

>>
>>47640232
The six most powerful classes in 3.5 are:
Artificer
Archivist
Cleric
Druid
Erudite(STP)
and Wizard

These classes are essentially tied for first place (depending on builds used) and beat out all other classes in terms of versatility and power.

>>
>>47640361
The problem with adding in prestige classes is that it needs the ones already listed. It can and must be a part of one. Druid/Planar Sheppard can be ridiculous, but it's still a druid.
>>47640373
Yeah, it really is. I had a good time with a samurai once though. It was fun trying to make it keep up with my tier 3 party members.
>>
>>47640293
I have no idea what about Artificer puts it with the others but /tg/'s bastard wiki has a tier list that ranks all the classes. Those six are "Tier 1" and described as:

>Capable of doing absolutely everything, often better than classes that specialize in that thing. Often capable of solving encounters with a single mechanical ability and little thought from the player. Has world changing powers at high levels. These guys, if played with skill, can easily break a campaign and can be very hard to challenge without extreme DM fiat or plenty of house rules, especially if Tier 3s and below are in the party.

This is due to things like Batman Wizards and STP Erudites who can turn pretty much any spell into a psionic power.
>>
>>47640391
Personally I think if, every time people tried making more viable martials, they didn't get shouted down by idiotic purists with cries of 'WEEABOO FIGHTING MAGIC', things would never have gotten to that point.

There's something wrong with you if you really expect your legendary heroic fighter, based on mythological warriors to be completely mundane, with no special powers when most of those people did possess such things, and somehow stand up to people tossing around magic of all things. I mean goddamn, let your PC be larger than life for once.
>>
>>47640395
Yep, one of the fun parts of D&D min-maxing can be delicately straddling that line between "could break the setting if I put my mind to it" and "oops, I broke the setting".
>>
>>47640293
Artificers are to magic items what hot-rodding enthusiasts are to muscle cars. In their hands the mileage goes to shit, but the horsepower leaves everyone else choking on dust. Or multiple fireballs per second, whatever.
>>
Would becoming a Kender in Dragonlance give you their sue powers of everyone likes me unless they are evil and ignore my stealing of their shit?
>>
>>47640429
I actually have used the book of weeabo fightin' magic before as well. That too was fun, but in a different way. I get to be an over the top kung fu hero. I screamed my attacks to the high heavens, jumped over mountains, and was the hot blooded wuxia hero I always wanted to be.
With the samurai I had to cheese and plot and min max myself as heavily as possible just to be semi useful.
>>
>>47640561
Finding out how to be useful despite being underpowered can be fun too yeah, I'm just speaking in general. Especially from a class-design perspective.
>>
>>47640553
Why would you subject yourself to that?
>>
>>47640553
Only in the world of Dragonlance, I imagine, where Kender are well known and the fucking plot dictates it. In all other universes you're just a midget who doesn't know what boundaries or property are.
>>
>>47640580
It is more that I want to be a dickish magpie and get away with it. As much as many here would hate to admit it, kenders are very representative of jumpers.
SHINY! must take and put in warehouse. What are consequences and why would there be any for taking the shiny?
>>
>>47640575
Oh yes, definitely. I'm of the opinion that the tier ones and twos should have been heavily curtailed and the rest boosted. Honestly if they removed the amazing weeaboo names from the weeaboo book and did that, 3.5 wouldn't have been such a broken mess that required weeaboo magic to keep up.
I disagree with your assement of heroes. They usually were faster or stonger or harder to hurt, but outide of china most couldn't backflip over a mountain or punch someone's soul in half. The heroes of old usually didn't have the weeaboo abilities in western countries- but magic required so much set up time that it was more or less useless in combat in those countries as well. They boosted mages by a lot, but left the warriors as guys with swords. It was dumb.
>>
>>47640647
Not him but I'm pretty sure as arbitrary good-evil-lawful-chaos-neutral alignments don't necessarily exist outside of D&D jumps, it would only work in those jumps where kender are known to exist.

Also, I agree but I was thinking more of the "horrifically callous but don't really understand what they're doing to aggravate and horrify everyone around them" part.
>>
>>47640656
My opinion is a bit different, I don't enjoy heavy nerfing of anything, I think it takes the fun and variety out of things. The most broken of combos DEFINITELY needed to be nixed, and many things patched or altered slightly to be less overpowering, but generally I'm more of the opinion to focus on buffs.

And with ancient western heroes, it was really more about scale. If fighters could even remotely replicate anything Heracles could do, they'd have done a lot to close the damage gap, if nothing else.
>>
>>47640676
I would think that spells/abilities/traits that depend on moral alignments would be less reliable outside of D&D settings but that doesn't mean that they won't work at all.
>>
>>47640656
One campaign I heard of that used the weeaboo book, Fighter and Monk were made into NPC classes alongside Warrior, Expert, Noble and Commoner.
>>
>>47640715
Anon was specifically talking about the kender's "ooh, I'm so innocent! Errbody except the asshole races lurvs me!" aura though, which isn't an ability/trait in the same way martial feats are. It's literally just a fluff detail about how other races allegedly treat kender.
>>
>>47640656
Other mythology gets pretty fucking nuts too sometimes. Look at any if the big heroes from mythologies and you'll see some crazy shit.
Especially if you ook at India in which case it's less like an over the top fantasy novel and more like Gurren Laggan with chariots,
>>
>>47640676
Yeah, I don't power and variety- but the tiers one and two can do everything. Everything. Between divination, alteration, and summons they are their own party. And that's ignoring shit like celerity and time stop. I think tier 3-4 is a good baseline. You can do several things well or many things ok, but you can't literally do everything.
But yes, warriors should have been stronger if nothing else. I liked the weeaboo shit myself though, and it bumped them up into the tier zone I favor.
>>
>>47640656
>The heroes of old usually didn't have the weeaboo abilities in western countries

Weren't there legends about Excalibur being able to cut the tops off of mountains? I remember Hercules held up the sky and changed the coarse of a river with brute strength. Western heroes did some crazy stuff especially the Greeks. Hell even more modern heroes were pretty bad ass George Washington used to bend horseshoes with his bare hands, He was also apparently impossible to hit with bullets so much the enemy commanders order their troops to stop shooting at him. Teddy Roosevelt was shot while giving a speech and refused treatment until after he finished giving the speech.

Meanwhile Odin and his brothers created the world by murdering the primordial giant Ymir, and Ra has to basically pilot the sun to do battle with a world-ending evil serpent every day.

There aren't any many examples of Tier 3 pure casters and Tier 4's pure casters are a bit too... boring, dull, and one-note to me. I mean, Warlock is pretty much entirely just blasting your one thing all day. Yawn. On my end, I'd prefer everything on Tier 2, that's where you still have some fun and variety inside of what your one build can do, not everything is blending into same-yness like tier 4, without being quite as overpowering as tier 1.

Anyway, still love 3.5. Don't like any of the later editions, so sad for me, but that's life.
>>
>>47640859
I can't remember any pure caster tier 3's either. I was saying that they should be made. Some of tier isn't too bad I'll admit. I still think Sorcerer should be tier 1 though. It's not quite as versatile as a wizard, but it can still do just about anything.

Be as that may, Diomedes, a man with no notable divine lineage or benefactors except for Athena telling him where to aim, wounded multiple Olympians badly enough to drive them from the battlefield.

Of course!
You could even make the RevolGarry transform by creating a switch add-on for it
>>

Local, yeah. Made the build while half-awake, I suspect I probably missed a thing or two in there. I'm going to look it over again now and revise.

I'm a little excited for my RWBY jump for when I fight Adam Taurus, but it's probably for the dumbest of reasons.
I'm not excited because I fight for true equality and justice, or that I like Blake and want to help Yang keep her arm, or that I want to see him pummeled into the ground. It's because of all of that, and that my name is Adam too.
It makes it seem like some awesome duality fight in my mind even though I'm pretty sure that isn't true.

Anyone else have something like this?
Where you did or plan to do something that logically it shouldn't be anything special but for you it is?

Sweet! One last question if I may, now in terms of defeating Dopants / Yummys / Zodiarts, can they only be defeated by their particular Rider / Power Source?

Reason being, I'm thinking of giving Akiko and Hina Switches.

Akiko - Kamen Rider Revolver (Based on the RevolGarry, has a Base Form (With RevolArmament (Gun that transforms into a Baton...not quite shaped like a slipper)), Boiler Form (Enhanced Strength and Speed, no weapons), Glider Form (Enhanced Speed, Flight, Built In Guns), Turbular (Aquatic Mobility, Built In Torpedoes))
Hina - Kamen Rider Shakti (Based on the four fundamental forces, has four built in switches, GF, EMF, WNF, SNF, no weapons)

>>47641380
Hell yeah! Look above!

>>47641014
So, revised build. Guess I know why it was life in suspension, eh?

>Jump 29: Overlord (manga series)
>Wheel of Fortune, reversed (An unexpected turn of bad luck. A broken sequence of events. Outside influences for the worse. An inescapable descent due to Fate or Karma.)
NO. NYET. ABORT. WE'RE GOING DOWN, WE'RE GOING-
Clearly the deck does NOT like revising builds after I've done them, even with errors. I'll have to be more careful in the future.
>Age: 27
>Location: Slane Theocracy
>Identity: Magic Caster, Player
>Race: True Vampire (-250)
Again, not a surprise, but these vampires seem to be quite a bit stronger than the usual run of the mill vampires. How interesting.
>Drawbacks: Foreigner, Powerless, Rival Guild (+800)
This is going to suck. A lot. Granted, what I get here rivals what I've gotten elsewhere, but it's nice to have those familiar abilities, no?
>Personal Inventory (1500)
At least I get the larger personal inventory. That's probably the best part of revising this build.
>Level One Hundred (900)
This is why I had to take a third drawback, even with Powerless. But now it's even more of a must than before.
>Arcane Caster (Free, magic caster)
>The Abyss of Magic (600, magic caster)
Again, before, it was a want. Now, it is a need.
>The Ring of Elru (0)
Now then, with some few points freed up, a perk not bought, and the 200 free points for items, I can afford this... and this, with the others, is probably the only reason I actually survived. I wonder if I can make a horcrux out of it?

I survived, but not... thrived. This was indeed a mistake, but I committed when I pulled the card, so there was no way around it, but at least the dice said I survived.

No building a nation, no. This is just getting the hell out of dodge and doing my best to not die. I succeeded, but... yeah, it was not an enjoyable decade, I do not intend to return here again, even post spark. This is a place with nothing but bad memories.

What does a Barrel Replica (Tsukihime) actually look like when fired? Does it shoot bullets or some sort of energy wave? Also is it technically less good at killing than the Seventh Holy Scripture?
>>
>>47641712
>Barrel Replica fired
Here you go!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omud9-Tew5A

>Good at killing
Scripture is anti-reincarnation weapon, dispersing the soul of the target into nothing.

Barrel works by directly applying a concept of mortality onto the target, and invoking it.

So, Barrel can kill things Scripture can't. But, the Scripture ensures people die when they are killed. Barrel doesn't.

>My companions all immediately fuck off back to the ships at jumpstart
And fuck you too. If I had half a mind, I'd leave the ships behind and just take my companions. I don't care how integrated some of them are into the things. I could really expect this from everyone but Chimmy, but he'd have to wake up for that.

Anyway, in this universe, North Korea is objectively the good guys. Actually and truly. It doesn't matter that it's propaganda in our universe, because I'm not in our universe. So, I've sided with Russia and North Korea, who just seem to be militarized hippies defending their homes. The rest of the world is really just assholes looking to steal other people's stuff, without regard for what happens in the process.

So, I'm going to test out my Epiphany skills from Dragonlance by going on an epic quest to give North Korea Divine Magic. It's going to be called Red Magic, granted by the Glorious Leader. Geumsaegi will even help me on the quest, once I show him magic is real. All we have to do is get the majority of South Koreans to admit to the Glorious Leader's divinity, and worship him as such, and I suspect, a martyr will be necessary. Someone brave and pure, tough enough to stand against wolves, and willing to die for his countrymen. And that someone certainly isn't me. The only question is, how do I get it out to all the people of the world, and make it suitable enough that it converts them? Maybe, a live broadcast, and a showing of divine might. Maybe even a resurrection?

Oh, that clears things up nicely. Many thanks.

Reckon Artificer could hypothetically let me make something like the Scrpture in another jump with sufficiently powerful components?

Also, any idea where the Black Barrel originally comes from? I thought it was a rule True Magic>old magic systems>magecraft but the Black Barrel can blow up TYPEs at least temporarily while Servants can't do anything to them.

I couldn't help but picture you going around the multiverse killing every other Adam in existence.

First I planned to do in the Firefly Jump was find Malcolm Reynolds and hug him, promising that Fox wouldn't take the sky from him this time around.

My fellow Browncoats understand.

>Also, any idea where the Black Barrel originally comes from? I thought it was a rule True Magic>old magic systems>magecraft but the Black Barrel can blow up TYPEs at least temporarily while Servants can't do anything to them.

If I remember correctly the actual Black Barrel was found in the ruins of some place that was probably Atlas.

As for why it works it's well see in the nasuverse there's this substance called grain, which is basically pure ether (a.k.a. magic stuff), and the thing plant entities are made of.

Black Barrel meanwhile is made of something called the 'fifth true theorietical element' which is basically super deadly to things made of grain or that contain it.

Types are basically made of grain so it's super effective against them, and if I remember correctly things with sufficient amounts of that stuff in their system (a.k.a. everyone but Gun God) can't even try using it.

Also the thing maintaining the previous rules of reality kind of died in Notes.
>>
>>47641830
Well, Artificer can make anything, as per description. Sky is the limit!

All I can tell you is that it is made out of Dark Matter. Yup.

Other than that? Nobody knows. Probably something Atlas cooked up, what with their "end the world ten times over" thing.
>>
>>47641894
By making sure I was as far away from them as humanly possible - I was nomadic and laying low. I made sure to choose my battles - the only battles I fought were ones where either the odds were so overwhelmingly in my favor that I could erase any evidence of a battle at all, or ones where my back was against the wall.

I don't know enough about the plot to really figure out more than that, honestly. Sorry.
>>
>>47641947
It's ok the skeleton showns goal is world domination. I highly recommend the show or book.
>>
>>47641840
I have a soft spot for almost every living creature in existence, barring sociopaths and the wantonly cruel. The Kender are just... retarded lemmings that have no right surviving as long as they have. I don't actually mind their existence, since they are mostly harmless thieves that are physically incapable of knowing any better.

If it helps, the scenario improved the story for the Kender. They aren't just stupidly loved by good aligned people in spite of their complete disregard for other people's property and privacy. Instead, they were defended by some weirdo heroes from before the age of Ogres, a holy quest for Palandine who values their innocence. It makes much more sense than what was going on before.

And in this case, I honestly debated which side to pick for about ten minutes, and came to the conclusion that my jumper would work with the good guys rather than a country he's spent less time in than he has fighting dragons.

>Scenario: Destroy The Dark Brotherhood!
Fuckers.
>Dragonskin (Free, Breton)
You know... when I get to Harry Potter, I'm going to troll the shit out of Death Eaters and it will be GLORIOUS.
>Smith (1300)
Oh hey I can make ... mid-level armor. Well, honestly, it could be worse. Glass armor is light and I can make it, though, so I'll probably get that early on. And then use it to make money. If I'm stuck with busy work, I may as well get some value from it.
>Clever Craft (Free, Mage)
Starting off with knowledge of basic magic, definite plus.
>Training (1100)
And being able to talk people into teaching me is also a benefit.
>Impact (1000, Mage)
Oh, so THIS is how you knock people across the room with a disarming spell.
>Monster Lord (800)
Vampire Lord? Don't mind if I do.
>Progress (500)
At least all that busy work is serving a purpose.
>Dual Casting (350, Mage)
...oh, this is going to have fun results down the line.
>Master of the Arcane (50, Mage)
Restoration magic if you please. Healing others is important and I haven't got a good way to do that as yet.

... honestly other than destroying the Dark Brotherhood and staying out of the Dragonborn's way, I don't have any plans here. Hm. I feel like I should have thought this through a bit more.
