>As a result of this disaster henceforth all adventurers shall be required by law to wear fully covering protective armor to prevent future corruption and infiltration
>Even non-fighter adventurers such as mages and priests shall abide by this
>Each registered adventurer will have a magical signature that lets them be recognized by officials
>Outfitting will begin right away
>>
In settings that include adventurers as a mainstay, there's no central body to enforce such conduct.

And by their nature, adventurers operate outside the law.

Sure, that armor will make people trust and love you. You may as wear well impaled babies on your pauldrons.

>Prevent infiltration
>Literally allows anybody to steal someone's armor and pretend to be them even easier than before.
>Adventurers caring two shits about the law.

Hahaha no.

Says who? What precludes a setting from having adventurers as a mainstay and having regulation at the same time?
>>
>>47489046
What are you going to regulate?

"Adventuring" is just roleplaying shorthand for "doing stuff for experience." That includes beating up monsters, excavating tombs, removing bandits, and uncovering sinister plots. This is almost universally done outside any legal jurisdiction, because if the local authorities wanted it done they'd make a contract with mercenaries instead of waiting around for some maniacs from two kingdoms over to do it for next to nothing.

We're gonna need more background on this disaster, OP. I assume we're dealing with some kind of supernatural entity that can inhabit people's bodies, otherwise you wouldn't have people wear more concealing suits to prevent infiltration.
